I’m going through the Bible verse by verse the second time in my life despite being a believer for years! I’m teaching Romans to teens and praying the Psalms. Thank you for simplifying things and making it relevant so the Word can be taught more effectively.

Please pass this encouragement on to Kris and the TTW team. This app has helped so much! It has helped me better understand who God is and what He wants for me in my life. It has helped me build much better habits for daily reading and spending time with God to reflect how He wants me to apply it to my life. I am on journey 7 right now and have plans to wrap up the rest of them over 2024. I have also used the app with my two teenage boys ago help them better understand how to apply Gods word to their life. You have made it very easy for me to share the app with friends who don’t really know God yet. I have begun to give money each month to this wonderful ministry and it is such a blessed joy that I get to share and participate in getting God’s word out to the world. Please share with all your staff and I want to encourage all of you what a difference that you are making and keep up the good work!

It was a great addition to my journey, discovering what God’s word says about how we are not to worry. And I especially like that they added Psalms 139, thank you Daisy for that. I’m journaling what God’s showing me so that I can remember. Pastor Kris, I love your conversational style of teaching us God’s word!

TTW has for the first time in over 50 years, has got me into the habit of listening, and reading my bible daily. It has been a blessing. Thank you so much.

My goal is to get through the entire Bible with understanding. And TTW is not disappointed me. With every section I am getting closer to God and understanding more clearly everyday.

I have really been blessed and encouraged through the ministry of TTW. Changing times and responsibilities face all of us and this resource helps me to have a greater and clearer understanding and in depth knowledge of God’s word and His ways.

I am almost 50. All my life I have felt a "pull" to the Lord. I have been in and out of church, read the Bible, cover to cover and said my prayers daily. However I always knew I was missing something...an understanding. I knew the story of Jesus and firmly believed with my whole heart, but what was I missing... why wasn't I "getting it" and living like other Christians? Then, I found this amazing app and I started listening to it every morning....2,3, sometimes 4 lessons. Whatever I could squeeze in. Finally, The Word, The Bible, The Message began to make sense. I was baptized 10 years ago, but I finally felt like I was reborn into this life. I just listened to one of the B sides of Ephesians in Journey 4 where you talk about feeling this need to do Through The Word to help save a soul. Well let me say, you are a blessing to me and God has absolutely used this tool to save my soul. I never thought I would have the gift of understanding the way I am beginning to now. I am beyond grateful. I am excited about my new life in Christ and I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work and dedication in putting together this app and using the gifts that gave you to teach. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the hard work you guys and gals put in. I'm a pastor here in SC and have grown up in church helping with audio specifically and all the other hats that come with it. I say that to say I feel like I have a little more skin in the game and so I wanted to say how cool it is to use this app in our personal lives to help us prepare and study.  Flawless audio and solid content. I want to thank everyone involved for making TTW such a great experience. You have truly changed my life by helping me understand the Bible. I grew up in a church attending every Sunday so I’ve been exposed to God’s word from an early age, but it wasn’t until recently when introduced to TTW that I feel I truly get it. It has gotten me through the rollercoaster ride of life! The journeys have been amazing and I’m proud to say that I am currently up to Journey 10 starting with Journey 1. Ttw has made a impact in my understanding as well as hunger to open God's word daily. I am very blessed by pressing the browse button after reading the chapter especially the old testament which for many years of being a Christian concentrating mainly on the New Testament only. Hello Chris My sis shared TTW with me and it felt like a present I’d been waiting for. The readings continuous play and discussions are a very rewarding addition to a deeper understanding of the bible. Sandy Adams’ depth of knowledge presents the book’s of Psalms that expands my faith in a laymans perspective encouraging me to engage with God through Jesus. I ask God this Christmas for TTW to expand in ways to touch the elderly, blind, mobility changed, needy, truly the world in a free podcast or radio for all must hear what the word of the Lord can do like l have. TTW literally confirms “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good “

I’ve read through the Bible before with other plans. It was like a marathon just trying to get through it. With TTW app it has become an enjoyable journey with understanding and enlightenment with the different people explaining each chapter. Thank You TTW!

I have always been a believer but have never read the Bible. I’m 45 now and can’t believe I have waited this long. I knew the main picture, but never really understood. This app is amazing and has helped me with my daily bible reading habit I just started a few months ago. This paired with getting back in church has changed me in just a short amount of time. In 2024, me and my son have decided to do each of the books in whatever order he picks. We did the NT in a year via YouVersion and he had a blast with that one as we got some other people to join in on it. I have to thank TTW (especially Peyton Jones though all the teachers rock) for breaking the Bible down as they do. You'll have made it so much easier for my autistic teenager to not only understand the Bible but to look forward to listening to TTW Bible plans everyday! And Peyton Jones is his favorite teacher, I don't know why, he just is, with Kris being a close second. So when Peyton took time out of his life to actually email my son, yeah my kiddo still talks about it like the most famous person in the world emailed him. Thank you again for everything that you do, you are all the most amazing teachers.

The NT1Y plan got me back into the Bible daily. It also gave me encouragement to be a better father and husband by sharing this plan with my family. I first found Through The Word when i became a believer 4 years ago and it was a joy for me to study the Bible with the journey #1 series. And life happened i grow weary in my faith journey. I lost my joy in 2023 and started acting like a Christian Robot! And i knew i had to do something and i started this series again. And believe me or not it ignited the joy again and started to feel my joy and my love for the LORD like the first months of my faith journey. Thank you for all your hardwork TTW Team!

I listen to a chapter each night before bed. Something always speaks directly to me. I think Roman’s 14 is my favorite. I want to shout to the world. I immediately texted my kids and said “read Romans 14”. Thank you so much for what you all are doing. I love this app.

I just want to say how thankful I am for TTW! Every morning, I look forward to turning on my oil diffuser and listening to a chapter from God’s word. I feel like I have grown closer to God since I started listening to TTW, and I learn something new every time I listen.

I want to start my story by saying you guys are awesome I have always thought myself to be a Believer and to be a person when I started through the word I realized I was none of those your teaching through the Bible as taught me to be humble and a serious 2x4 plank of humility. since I've realized only through me admitting I am weak God’s strength can shine through me now I have learned that when people boast I boost in my weakness as Paul said and it's amazing to see how god works and one of the small things that I picked up from Chris is every time I think of Jesus there's a voice that just says awesome thank you guys for showing me the Awesome light of Jesus by explaining the Bible so easy to understand I am sure you guys are blessed every single day for the blessing that you give thousands of people every day maybe not in this earth but the one we will inherit one day. I love to hear the Bible come to life when I listen to the stories over and over again sometimes I hear things I didn’t before I love the fact that the characters are broken down with a story teller then you hear the reading of God’s word right after it would be nice if it was multiple choices after just to see if you were paying attention 😂

This book of 1 Timothy is truly a blessing. This book gave me insight; removing several misconceptions that I had heard, yet never really understood mostly due to not reading the word for myself. I am elated to know that God does give instruction and I am grateful, that TTW expresses those things that in a comprehensive manner for those that may be babes in Christ, who may not understand at first glance.

I found TTW in the Bible app in 2020. I found the “Matthew Explained” series and started saving every plan I came across and eventually realized there was an app and downloaded it. I have completed several books of the Bible with TTW, but three have stood out to me the most. The first, Revelation! That is such a hard book to understand and Kris helped me to understand that book much better than I did before. I read the first book of Pslams with Sandy and it really changed my prayer life! The most recent, the book of Daniel! The book of Daniel wrecked my world in a good way a couple months ago. I truly pray to have the courage, bravery, and obedience that Daniel and the rest had! I tell everyone about this app! Everyone who is knew to the faith or even more mature than I am in the faith. Thank you so much for this app and all the hard work! I haven’t ever been able to get through Leviticus when I committed to read the Bible from cover to cover, so therefore I felt like a complete failure. I felt guilty for disrespecting God’s word. I would’ve never correlated Jesus with Leviticus so I sincerely thank you for your vision. I feel so very grateful for this app and your insight to each chapter it’s truly making my brain and heart explode with knowledge and love for God and His word. I just want to shout the glory of the Lord for leading me here!!!!!

I love Through the Word! I first found it on You Version then had to look for it. I have learned so much and gotten some different perspectives which challenged what I had believed. That was good! I have recommended TTW to my Life Group, ladies at the jail for when they get out, (I am a chaplain there), and my hygienist even wrote down the information. I am in the prayer team and have told people who come for prayer about it. It is simple to do, the teachers are great and make it fun and interesting. My husband also listens to his own reading plan every night. Actually lots of times we listen to each other’s. I pray for TTW!

I started TTW several years ago and it is my go to during my daily Bible study and reading. The explanation is so insightful and spurs me to want to listen more. I have shared with so many family members and friends. I have a Quest Bible and it lines up with TTW. I like the new version. I will continue to use TTW. I don’t thee luxury of attending a church service at the moment so you version and TTW are my way of connecting with Jesus and his word. Your plans are my lifeline I am about to finish journey 10 it helps with reading books of the bible I would not have read before. Your team bring issues to life as if the children of Israel are like us today. I can’t understand why they would rebel against the Lord then but can see how with the different ways people react today how God sees us and mourns for his children. Due to my situation friends are not a viable option but I pray and thank you that you and your team help me each day as I follow each journey. 🙏🙏

TTW has helped me to stay focused on God and his word. I am a person who disliked reading, could not focus. TTW app and the various teachers made opened my heart for a greater understanding of Gods word. My husband and I love to go to bed and listen to TTW every night. This has become our ritual and we are always looking forward to it. We are halfway with the New Testament and still growing strong. Been dealing with what I didn't know were anxious thoughts lately, but God used the plan on anxiety to help me see again that He knows and sees me. It felt like fresh water cool water on a very hot day.

My husband, three young daughters and myself are missionaries in Ghana West Africa. We often feel the pressure and push back from the enemy because we are here taking over his territory for the kingdom of God. TTW has been such a blessing to me, it’s like my anchor, I can’t wait to get up in the early morning and spend time in the word. TTW helps me stay in the word and really get more out of what I read! My husband also has started listening to TTW every day, and we are trying to figure out a way that we can share it with more people here in Ghana.

My husband and I are going through the Marriage Talk series together and are so grateful for the practical wisdom and new insights. We are leading the marriage ministry at our church and plan to start a virtual discussion group using the Marriage Talk series.

I started my journey 2 years ago. I had made a declaration, to myself, to start reading through the Bible. This helped me with understanding each book that I was reading. Through the word was recommended by a friend at church. Over the last year I have really become involved within the church after many years away. This time is feeling different though as I have truly started to pursue Christ as my Lord and Savior and live as he lived. It has done wonders for my marriage for my job as a father, and my role as a nurse. I recommended this app to my brother and my mom as well to help strengthen their own faith as I do believe that it is easy to make excuses to prevent opening the book. Rather there are little to no excuses for not opening the app as we always have our phone we can listen to it wherever we drive. Love the app and thank you for all you do.

3 years ago I used an app to read through the Bible in a year. It was both satisfying and exhausting - a grand overview. I wanted to read the Bible chapter by chapter. A Google search brought me to TTW. I printed a chronology of the NT and began a journey through the NT with TTW. I was hooked! I am currently reading through the OT. I have not missed a day in 2 years! Daily ready has become a habit! I so look forward to my Jesus time every morning. I have shared my experience using TTW with family, friends, and church family. TTW is a blessing everyday! ☀️

I have listened to TTW for just a couple of years, and today it has been the greatest help. I’m mourning the loss of a great friend and brother in the faith and was asking the question why now. I know Gods ways and plans are higher and greater than our own, but it still does not take away the hurt. Well today I decided to listen to the Book of Esther, since it has been a book I have been listening to and thinking about recently, and came to chapter 10. What John Ferguson said really had an impact. I think about how though the name of God does not appear in Esther, His hand is seen in every detail of the events that take place in Esther, and when talking about how the events were recorded as a record of God’s goodness to His people, I think about the memories of my friend recorded on social of people across the nation and world whom he impacted. Though his faith has been made sight, two things I take away: God makes no mistakes, and God is working where I cannot see: and today’s listening of the Book of Esther helped me out with that.

I have been listening to your devotions for almost a year now and I just wanted to encourage you by saying what a blessing they have been in my life. I look forward every morning to spending time in your app. I am doing your Holy Week one now but have been doing End times up to this week. I will continue with that next week. My name is Krista. This app help me refocus and find my way home during a time when my world had been turned upside down. In 2019 I had lost my mother suddenly and really felt a need to come back and find my faith. I was searching in my app store for someway to get back to God since I could not g go to church because I was caregiving for my dad and then immediately there after Covid. This app help me refocus and get through a difficult time of caring for my dad, and eventually dealing with his death. I continue to use this app daily now calling at my time with my heavenly father.

I found TTW when I was looking for ways to keep my faith up when my husband was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma and the prognosis was grim. I listened to youversion and found Chris Langham Bible studies. I listened to every study on there and one day I realized he had his own app! I did a search and there it was. It was as if God had smiled on me. I loved the app so much I shared it with my husband and he started using it daily as well. My husband is now in remission and we are praising the Lord. A few years later I was diagnosed with lymphoma and a brain tumor. I listen to TTW for at least an hour a day now. My mother couldn’t get over how I was handling my diagnosis and I shared TTW with her. She is 87 and loves it so much because she has macular and it’s hard to read. She has been sharing with everyone about that app. She was in the grocery store in line telling a woman about TTW and shared the app with her. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into these studies. I am on journey 15 and it truly does strengthen my faith and make me desire a close walk with our Lord. God is using you in mighty ways.

A girlfriend at a bible study recommended this app in 2021. I was going through a very difficult season and I thought that I had all the answers and the leaders at church couldn’t offer real help. Your openness to share difficult subjects while talking with love and truth for the word of God really helped me stay on track. Thank you for your honesty and wisdom. Thank you for being real. My pastor shared Through the word with me. I go through times where I question myself and had times I wouldn’t read my bible. Through the word has helped me to listen to devotional and bible chapters.

I have been a member of TTW many years, have gone through the journeys and filled several journals. I love the new feature where we can do group studies together. I always tell people who are searching for a way to study the Scriptures about TTW.

Before I discovered TTW I used to feel obligated to read a certain number of chapters in my Bible each day, but now I only read one a day, and I get so much more out of it than before! Now I read my chapter, listen to the lesson designed specifically for it and many times that prompts me to examine the text even closer by reading a concordance or doing a study of a verse that spoke to me. I just love TTW and it has become a daily habit for me. I just finished the book of Ezekiel and I got so much more from it than I ever have! Thank you and God bless!

I stumbled across through the word in the you version app during the pandemic. I was a youth pastor at the time and burned out with ministry. I found myself no longer enjoying christian service as it had become just another 9-5 job for me. I come from a more legalistic branch of Christianity and although the teachers around me mean well, the end result is often a God that is always looking for a reason to punish you and whose teachings are extremely burdensome. I needed help, but I needed to find a teacher I could trust. I listened to one of the through the word plans and was refreshed to see the Bible taught as it was written, with no ulterior motive. Through listening to TTW I have truly discovered Christ's burden, which is truly light. TTW is now my go to reccomendation for people looking for a devotionals. Thank you TTW, and keep pushing forward.

From the beginning of the year, our pastor has been suggesting the use of Through the Word to our congregation. He mentioned that it is a great and easy way to hear and understand scripture. I came to Through the Word about midway through this year, when I was looking to understand, the story of Jacob wrestling God, I needed some clarity and I sent a message to our pastor. He referred me to the Through the Word passage and Genesis in reference to the story, it brought me so much clarity and understanding that I messaged my pastor that I didn’t need him to give me any other answer that God spoke to me through this application. After that encounter, I shared that passage with my mom and friends and started using it. I have now completed three plans and I’m almost through my fourth plan in Jeremiah . It’s been an amazing adventure and I’m looking forward to conquering even more plans in 2024.

I love this app! Honestly really helping me get through my bible reads daily with something to think about after, thanks to the team that speaks and breaks it down after. I have been a Christian for 25+ years. I and my bride are loyal members of our church. We both have used several different ways of reading the Word of God. I just recently discovered this Through The Word app through a dear friend of mine. I am so much in love with it. I use the Bible then "sermonette" explanation and am very much enjoying it. Both your pastors and mine are excellent at making the passage understandable for "common people." Thank you!!

Our church started reading the Bible in a year as a church project. We are in the last couple of weeks of the challenge. I have always struggled with understanding what the word was saying,for l am a factual reader if that makes sense. A friend at church told me about this app when we started. It has been such a Godsend for me! The way you guys break down the chapters and explain it , has helped me to understand God's word and gave me a hunger to study it further. YouVersion Study Group: We have a study group and we use YouVersion for a supplemental Bible study resource. We use Through the Word every chance we get! The chapter of James is an eye opener. I have experienced many things this passed year, my job, people, discouragement, happiness, and most of all decisiveness. I've learned no matter what, it is so easy to judge, to grumble, having arrogance. But James, walks you through his teachings and clearly states what I need to do. It gets easier and easier each day. I can overcome anything.

I was introduced to the App this summer and I committed to follow the plan. I started in June and I have been listening daily. I can’t thank you enough for this. Praise the Name of the Lord!. Today is day 2 of my trying out TTW as I continue to work towards consistent Bible study. My friends and I have been talking about studying the Word together but were yet to get started. I embarked on a personal journey seeking a Bible oriented app that would get us there. I believe TTW is it. I have shared with my friends and encouraged them to explore it. My highlight was the package by topic. Hi TTW Family I came across your app from You Version and have loved it ever since. Often I find listening on the train to work which for me is about 45 minutes is the best way to prepare for my day. I have just finished Phillipians and find I am just blown away by what is in there. I love it and share what touches me via text or social media. By the grace of God, I was saved in 2012. Since then, the Lord has placed a deep desire within me to be used by God to bring my family to the Lord. Two years ago, the Lord started stirring the heart of my sister. What resource has He primarily used? Through the Word. My sister and I have been through many of the Bible studies from Through the Word and it has given us both a deeper love of the Lord and a desire to be in His word every day. And because of that, my sister now knows the Lord! Thank you, Through the Word, for being the vessel God used to pour into my sister (and me as well). What a gift!

The plan through the New Testament in a year has made me want to know more our Lord Jesus. I do get my strength for him and so very blessed and thankful. Have told our grown children about the app. and several in our church. I found TTW first on the YouVersion Bible app when I wanted to dive more into the Bible book by Book. It has helped me understand what I am reading and the importance of every chapter. I help teach Cubbies room for the Awana program at my church and the other teachers in who help teach get together Sunday morning from Bible study. During our discussions/lessons I had mentioned TTW and what I learned pertaining to what we were learning for that particular study and they all were curious. They all downloaded the app and all use it now stating they also have learned so much from it.

I am 57 years old. I started going back to church a year ago and we have small connect groups in our church and I attended one and somebody told me about Through The Word. Since then I have been doing my daily Bible study with this as I read the Bible through in the year and I'm right on track thank you very much you have helped me learn the Bible and understand it so much better. And anytime somebody tells me that they're having a hard time understanding the Bible's I always recommend Through The Word I've probably recommended it to 20 or 30 people over the last year.

Thank you to Payton Jones for taking me through Leviticus in this plan. Such a boring book (that I usually skipped) was actually explained in such a way that I now understand it. To all the Bible teachers, thank you for explaining each chapter in the Bible I understand so much more every time I listen. I am also nearly done with the New Testament in 1 year through the Bible app. I followed a Bible plan a few years ago from TTW and that is how I discovered your app. I love the jokes, music and movie references. Just for your records, I am from South Africa, but have been living in Abu Dhabi for the last 7 years.

In 2004 God said to me in a dream as I op the bible "You don't know me" That dream scared me. I started studying the bible and read through the bible every day in my native language. I found TTW in 2017 and started from journey 1 to 19 and you guys answered some questions, because I family had to walk a difficult road. We started our own Facebook group in 2017 called "Prayer Warriors Facing The Storm" and in 2021 we started a T-SHIRT evangelism business called AngelicSword in South Africa. This was some fingerprint TTW left on my purpose and my journey. Thank you. Now to give back I start a new journey and this time with groups. I have shared and ask my groups to join me . You see Prayer Warriors facing the STORM as grew to 760 followers and AngelicSword to almost 2500 followers. I hope rhe will join me on this new adventure. See we are not just called to be disciples we are called to be disciple-makers and with this TTW it make it so much easier. I love it for 7 years now. I have listen to TTW in the train, in the car and lately Ias I wark from home I have set my alarm 04H30 and afterwards I write my prayers to share. I don't think you know the influence TTW have on people life's

I love the marriage devotional and plans because it really keeps me focused on my goals and keeping my relationship with my husband lined up with the word of God. I just know following God and how He sees marriage means more to me than anything!!! I love learning and continuing to take my commitment seriously, I’m truly blessed to have my husband and I know God wants me to follow through with my vows!

I found TTW through a reading plan on YouVersion. I love how TTW & YouVersion can work in tandem instead of competing to draw listeners away from each other. Well done.

I never really read the Bible cover to cover only bits and pieces here and there. I have a hard time retaining what I read, so I would get discouraged and stop. My sister told me about TTW and it has changed my life! Jesus has always been a part of my life, I don't recall ever a time that I did not know him, but to be able to be guided through his word has made me so much closer to him. I understand things now that I never did before. It has truly helped me get closer to our savior. I suggested the app to my niece and she loves it. TTW has helped me establish a Bible and prayer habit over the last 2 years. I honestly miss it if I can’t do it for some reason. It’s food for my soul! Also it’s given me an easy tool to recommend to friends, especially those women in my Bible study group. I’ve recommended it as a way of doing additional study on the Bible book we are studying. I discovered Through the word on the youVersion Revelations plan in my bid to understand the book more and ever since I have been hook. The Bible teaching here has encouraged me to also start teaching the word in my local church. I am now by the grace of God, a Sunday school teacher and youth pastor for my church. I have more to say about the impact of this app but I just bless God for these app that has blessed me so much.

THROUGH! THE! WORD! This literally has been the best "gift" I've gotten. I grew up in the church, literally....born and raised. And of course I went through my "it's just church" phase but in the past few years, especially since covid hit, I've been really really curious about the Bible and how everything ties together and how it relates to the present day. My mother has been listening to TTW for about 4 or so years and I just so happened to be listening to Kris Langham commentating and breaking down one of the books of the Bible in the New Testament and I was just floored because it made so much sense to me. My mom immediately shared the app with me and said check it out in conjuction with "One Story That Leads to Jesus", a 365 day read/study of the Bible from beginning to end. And let me just say I've never been happier. I get to read the word book by book, chapter by chapter and then come to TTW and have it explained to me. It's helped me find ways to build on my trust in God, understand how ALL THINGS work together for my good BECAUSE I love Him, and most importantly helped me build on my relationship with God. I am so so so grateful to Kris Langham for taking what God gave to him and sharing with us. ☺️

Hello, my name is Janet and I am dealing with so much!! I am raising my 2 grandsons age 13 & 2, my husband is in the nursing home, I am disabled and spent 2 months in the hospital last summer, as well as my dayghter is homeless and addicted to drugs!! My plate is so full!! I don’t know how to deal with life so much of the time!! I feel like God hates me!! I am saved I know, I go to church, pray, and read ThroughThe Word and I love it!! I love TTW and the teachers as well as be I love that we can pick our devotional based on what we are going through each season!! Please pray for me because I have so many fears about my life and what might happen! I fear loosing the kids, loosing my home, loosing my husband, and so many fears!!
