I began listening to Revelation Explained. It really helped me along with the Holy Spirt to understand what is happening even now. I still read Bible for myself and pray. I just downloaded app. Will see. So far so good.

My Brother-in-Law and I have been going through each Journey. We’re on Journey 12 now and we both believe this avenue for studying scripture has been life changing. Each one of you offer great insight, vision, and commitment for the Gospel which motivates us to continue through each Journey. No life altering story here just a boring “Way to go” to the TTW team and God bless you all for being as creative with this App, messages and love for Jesus. Shines bright through a dark world. Keep tracking the narrow way. We’ll get to the promise land together. We appreciate all everyone at TTW does to help us see the Gospel with new specs and attitudes.

I love TTW! It never disappoints! I am amazed at all the new ways God has revealed Himself in the word, and the teachings at TTW have helped enlighten me. Never boring and always interesting, I look forward to listening each day. I am currently doing a TTW in the New Testament, it’s wonderful! I appreciate the hard work that has gone into this ministry and I look forward to true Christian maturity in my life and God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, and TTW (and other Pastors, Teachers, Ministries, etc) are how we achieve it! Through the Word is a great way to get into the Bible! I drive a lot for work, and recently started using TTW to “make good use of the time”. Through learning more about His Word, i have experienced a transformation in my walk with God! Kris is a great teacher, as well as the others who have plans on the app. Easy to use and great commentary. I can’t recommend it enough. May God bless y’all and don’t grow weary in well doing!

Thank you to each and everyone of you that study and research each chapter to give me the background on why each chapter was written. Especially the New Testament. To have knowledge on why it was written does help me to better understand the passage. I also have found I retain more of the words as you read to me and I read along. I’m trying to read the whole Bible for the first time. I’ve failed reading plans in the past, I realized it was probably my ambition to do too much and it was easy to fall behind. I love the messages that you get before the reading. I am currently doing NT in one year plan (I started late but I am catching up so I can finish by years end) one of my favorite things do do after work now is to sit and read along. I’m not certain how many years I’ve been learning and enjoying Through The Word Bible journey. My first introduction was simply the four gospels. Since then I’ve enjoyed all of the 19 journeys, and am now into the NTY. I’m looking forward the study into the minor prophets. And if you create a study into the “major prophets “ I’ll enjoy that as well.” What is amazing to me, is that as often as I’ve reread the same books, however in a different order, or context, the story seems different. It’s likely my comprehension, or perhaps It is the Lord revealing more of himself to me, as long as I’m willing to listen and read. It is exciting that the “do overs” … (a technical golf term) is more so revealing and more understandable. I’m 80, I’ve known that Jesus is the son of God and is my savior for most of my life, my mother made sure of that as she taught Sunday School and gave me no slack. I’m blessed because of her. I love TTW. I have been jumping around the books the past 2 years, but have finally decided to start from the beginning and listen to the entire Bible this year. I Just finished Genesis. I have learned so much about the beginning of God’s covenant. He truly works through flawed and broken people and is a God of great mercy and forgiveness. I love the commentary and explanations, along with the jokes, humor and your child’s adorable voice. It reminds me when my boys were little and said “wud” for word. ❤️❤️ thank you so much for this online listening Bible study because I am an artist and I listen while I create. Bless you.

I was invited by my friend to use this TTW app and it has been a blessing to me. This marriage plan is for married and about to be married couples, but as a spinster in her early 30s it has opened my eyes to what Marriage is and God's purpose for his people. It shed light in understanding my parents marriage and making peace with their marriage.

I came to Jesus 41 years ago at the age of 28. I could not get enough of preaching and teaching and eventually taught Sunday School and even filled in preaching several times. Then my job, building a house, and life in general got in the way. One of my granddaughters challenged me to do TTW New Testament in a year. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed getting back into God’s Word and the excellent teaching which challenged me many times. More family members are now doing the New Testament in a year and I agreed to do it with them. The new app with question and comment feature is great since we live in several different locations and don’t often see each other in person. Again thank you for the excellent teaching and I am sure I will get even more this second time.

I had completed the book of Exodus in TTW then started Hebrews. The connection seemed amazing and the depth of each verse came alive to me. Hebrews can be a difficult book but describing it as a sermon and how we respond really helped. Thanks for taking an old Christ follower deeper into His words.

Loved learning about Job Did not learn all that I could but I am doing the Journy series and I am sure I will do Job again

I have truly enjoyed this first journey with Chris and Colossians and Mark and plan to continue all the journeys one at a time one chapter at a time one verse at a time. I like that we're not rushing through and reading a lot of chapters and not really able to assimilate or understand everything we're reading but rushing through. I've learned a lot and a lot has been refreshed and reinforced and I'm thankful to God for Chris and the way he's breaking down the word for the body of Christ.

I am in my early 50's and have been a full time missionary in southeast Africa since my 20's.* I have done many studies on Revelation before, but it never stuck. How could I teach what did not make sense to me? It always left me with more questions than answers. I found your Revelation study on another study app (YouVersion) and loved it. I hungered for a more thorough and full study, so I looked up your website - and never looked back! I listened to each chaper on Revelation at least 3 times, made notes and just loved how everything for the 1st time formed a comprehensive picture! It just opened up the whole book for me! Since then (which was just a few months ago), I have had so many opportunities to tell and teach others what I have learned have shared your app with many. The plan on temptation opened my eyes. My struggle has been food, all of my adult life. Up and down, why why why. As with any addiction I've felt powerless, overwhelmed and defeated, after every "victory I " will never go back! This plan opened the window of "temptation " Jesus went through every kind of temptation and said no! At the beginning of this, Payton talked about Satanism "everything is OK, do what you want "... Wow. I'm a child, a daughter of the most high. Food, gluttony vomit. God's strength, love and forgiveness is for me, his power, my hope and a need to repent. To live a changed life. I am so thankful I found your app! I don't like to read because I don't understand some of the stuff that I read. I love listening to Sandy Adam's and especially through the Psalms. He has taught me so much that I would have never even understood or knew what the chapter was referring too. I started from the beginning and I am not done yet with the old testament. Our Church, in Oban, on the west coast of Scotland was invited to read a chapter a day of the Bible, by our pastor, Stuart. It was a chronological journey which lasted for three years. TTW was with me each and every day and I have learned so much! TTW opened up the whole Bible for me and it has been amazing! It all points to Jesus, from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. Thank you TTW for guiding me through and I have told many people about the wonderful way in which you have revealed God’s word to me and encouraged and inspired me on this journey. First, thank you so very much for TTW. Your love of Jesus and teaching the Word shines through in every word spoken. In January of 2023, I wanted to dive deeper into the Word. By deeper, I mean I wanted to not merely gloss over while reading, but to truly understand God's Word. Through the Word has made that possible. I started with one chapter each morning. Now, I'm reading and studying 2 hours each day because I can't get enough. All the teachers are wonderful but my favorites are Peyton and Kris. Bible reading is no longer something I do because it's in the "Life of a Christian" handbook. Thank you for bringing God's Word alive in a way that is understandable. God bless!

This is the way that I start my day. Listening to the Through The Word audio guide and reading the corresponding scripture. Now I have this awesome coffee mug too.

Since my wife and I have started the journeys it has drawn us closer to God, but has also drawn us closer to each other. We both look forward to our daily journey together….oh and our coffee too. lol

First and foremost want to thank you for this platform. I’m 55 years old and found TTW by a suggestion from a close friend. We worked together as firefighters and after a difficult day he’d suggested I check you out. He knew I was on my journey to get closer to God. When I started I was somewhat guarded. Once I opened myself up and just listened to Kris, Sandy, Peyton and others I found myself wanting more. I picked up the Bible a few years back. I’d left the church and God in my teens. Fell into bad teachers and my own ignorance…I later realized. Fast forward decades later and a life without God. I found myself wanting and needing answers and guidance. A very close and dear friend began sharing the word with me. He wasn’t pushy or judgmental which is exactly what I needed. My progress was slow but consistent. Now at 55 I have been saved by Christ personally, baptized by my dear friend and found a church and community that has truly changed my life. Jesus never gave up on me and I feel His Spirit working in me. I’ve helped guide others towards TTW and hope that it has done for them what it has done for me. I start every day the same, prayer, Bible reading and finish with 2 chapters in TTW. Thanks aren’t enough to you all. Please continue to change lives like you’ve helped change mine. One last note on the last couple questions: hard to nail down one specific plan that has touched me but I’m in Ecclesiastes right now with Kris and I love it because the teaching coupled with the B side really brings it home. I share TTW by texting certain chapters that touch me and hope the ones I send it to changes and helps them.

I was born and grew up in Eastern Africa to Christian missionary parents. It wasn’t until my 30s after our church went through a split and Covid hit that I realized I didn’t have a true faith or a personal relationship with God and I didn’t know the whys behind my faith. This caused me to question everything I was ever taught and doubt the belief I was raised with. God used this time in my life to face my doubts head on which lead me to actually reading my Bible for myself and to study apologetics. It was through this that I discovered TTW. I have learned so much by listening to the teachers. I can now say with full confidence I am a sinner saved by grace and I know the whys behind what I believe. And I haven’t skipped one day in my Bible reading in over a year. Praise God.

I love TTW! I’ve read the entire Bible several times, but until I used this app, I never had the valuable insight for each chapter, taught by Kris & the other pastors .All of the teaching led to much better understanding on my end. I’m so grateful for the knowledge I gained. I just completed the NT in a year. I highly recommend that plan or the whole Bible in 2 years. It allows you to take your time, to learn, & to absorb what you’ve read, rather than racing through just to check your daily Bible reading off of your list. I tell everyone about the TTW app & share the link to the website. I pray that they all have been blessed with a better understanding of His Word, as I have been because of the TTW team!

I’m dyslexic. Studying and reading the Bible has always been difficult for me. Until TTW I had to struggle through reading the study and the scriptures. TTW has taken that struggle away. All the speakers are easy to listen too and the scriptures just come alive as I follow along with the reading.

We love sharing TTW devo. My wife, my friend and I have been enriched going through Genesis. Sharing our thought via the audio notes has been a blessing. We’ve been blessed in our family relationships, then out of the blue a major rift has exploded and our family is in a season of brokenness. Thank You God for showing Your love and grace despite our sin and emotional reactions. Thank You for Abraham, Isaac, Israel and Joseph. Understanding this book of Isaiah in a way I never did. Seeing how the scriptures line up with New Testament. Such a blessing!

I chose the gospel of Mark during this advent season. The study while actively participating with my family and Church in Advent made this season much more meaningful to me. Having celebrated Jesus’ birth yesterday and the resurrection today, the 26th, I experienced the total coming and story of Christ’s love in a month!

I found Through The Word several years ago. This is the only Bible Study I use. It has greatly increased my understanding and knowledge of the Word. Thank you so much for all the work you put into these studies! Bless you all 🙏

TTW has helped me to understand the Bible better by how it is taught in a way that makes it easy to understand without the need of a Commentary. Facts surrounding the chapters are brought together by references from other scripture so you can comprehend the full meaning of God’s purpose and plans. There are pearls of wisdom to reflect on from the teachers as they explain the Bible passages that I have missed in previous readings. I look forward to my quiet times more because I am excited about learning more of what is in scripture that I have overlooked.

I’m 70 years old. I’ve been reading the Bible since I learned to read. Over the years I have benefited from many different plans and approaches. I use the TTW app every morning to start my day. This app has helped me be consistent and purposeful in my Bible study. I’ve not always agreed with what has been taught or said by the teacher but the messages have been presented in a way the shows respect for differences. These differences have challenged me to rethink and study more about my own beliefs. Thanks for what you do to share God’s word.

Through The Word is such a special app and I am so happy I found it when I did. I have been using it for years now and I’m really thankful for the team in how the app has been developed to aid our learning. I recently just finished the James plan such a short but fundamental book in really getting practical about spiritual maturity and recognising what it means to walk in God’s word, will & way. The James plan has taught me about the important of doing. It’s time to get comfortable being uncomfortable when it comes to spiritual growth and it’s a journey I’m blessed to be on. It has instilled in me a desire to seek Gods word because He speaks to me through my studies It is like whatever question I my have at any given time, I find the answer in my study No matter what journey I maybe studying at the time, it’s amazing how it always seems to cover what I have questions about Thank you so much for this app, it has enriched my life tremendously Unfortunately the people I have tired to share this app with so far want to continue with their own way of learning but I will keep trying

1. I have been a Christian my whole life. I grew up in church and was raised by amazing parents who taught me who Christ is and I was very comfortable within the Christian lifestyle. Growing up, I was taught scripture, went to church, and did all the “right” things. But something I’ve always struggled with was consistency when it comes to having my quiet time. 2. This year one of my friends suggested this app and all I could think was “greaaaat ANOTHER app…” but man was I wrong! I really didn’t know where to start, so I started with Journey 7 - Promises Kept. And I cannot begin to say how much I have grown! Starting in Matthew I was like “oh yeah I got this.” Then I saw I’d be in Deuteronomy and I was not having that! But the Holy Spirit challenged me and WOW God spoke to me so clearly in that part of scripture. I was challenged and encouraged to continue on. This season of life within my serving ministry has also been hard - with work, life and friends - serving had become like a chore. Then digging deeper in 2 Corinthians had really helped me see that it is not about what I can do for the Kingdom, but what God can do through my weaknesses. 3. I share this app often when I meet someone and they are going through the same challenges. Challeneges like “I’m new to the faith and where do I start” or even “I’m just struggling to make God a consistent part of my life.” My go to explanation of this app is: “I like how it’s honest heartfelt commentary on scripture that you may or may not know. But my favorite part is that it always pushes me back to God’s Word. ‘Faith comes from hearing and hearing through the Word.’” In this day and age, I feel like we can easily become lazy Christians. We listen to a message on a Sunday and then take what a preacher said as truth without challenging it with the true truth. Digging deeper in God’s word. But I love how Through The Word does that automatically. You finish listening to a commentary and then *BAM* here’s the scripture 🔥! I have so much more to say about this - but I do want to finish with saying thank you! Thank you to your team for being obedient and listening to the call on your life. You never know what’s on the other side of your obedience. So keep going. What you’re doing is not in vain. Through your obedience, God is using you as a vessel to change the world. TTW has been our habit for the past 2092 days! Years ago, I discovered TTW on a plan through the Bible app. It was Kris Langham, and I LOVED the way he explained the chapter in just 10 minutes - totally relevant, meaningful and even funny at times! I shared TTW with my best friend who lives 5 hours away in a different state. Every morning, we listen to the same chapter, journal, and then send a snap of our journal reflection. Since then we have almost made our way through the entire Bible! Previously daunting books like Revelation and many from the OT, we now consider fascinating and relevant! It has been the source of so much meaningful discussion, reflection and connection between us! Thank you TTW!

TTW has been such a blessing to my life. I work night shift that includes every other weekend, so I am not able to make it to church as much as I would like. TTW fills that gap with excellent plans by excellent teachers. I have learned so much from these plans. My goal is to go through the entire Bible, and I recently finished the Jeremiah plan by Sandy Adams. I have listened to several of Adams’ plans so far, and he has become one of my favorite teachers. This Jeremiah plan was great in that I could see God’s promises at work. It’s great to see historical examples provided by Sandy that proves the word of God is true and can be proven by historical evidence. This just further strengthens my faith in God, and I’m looking forward to continuing my journey with TTW!

My sister, Tina and I embarked on this journey together and made it through! Not only did it strengthen our relationships with Jesus, but our relationship as well. Walking alongside another believer, even though we’re miles apart was a blessing I didn’t expect but am SO grateful for. God truly cares about every single one of us and every little thing that we care about. Thank you, TTW for being an instrument for God’s word! Looking forward to what’s next!

Dear Pastor Kris & Ministry Team: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! TTW plans have given me so much insight into understanding the Books of the Bible exponentially over the last several years! In four more days, I'll complete the NT in 1 YR plan which has been AH-MAZING! I became a Christian seven years ago, and TTW gave me the knowledge and confidence to not only start a faith-based FB Group with over 1,700 members, but to also publish a Bible Reading Plan & Journal on "Healing"... to God be the Glory! I'm very excited about the new "share" feature and have invited my group's members to join me in Genesis beginning on January 1st! TTW's easy-to-use and understand audio plans have changed the trajectory of my faith walk and I'm excited to see where it will continue to take me (and the members of my group!) in 2024 and beyond! TTW has helped me understand what I'm reading. It's turned the words into more than just words. It's brought them alive. The Restoration plan really touched me. My family is going through a difficult season, a storm. Learning about God's true plans for marriage helped stand tall, trust God, and wait for Him to do His work. I strengthened my hope for restoration. I have shared TTW with friends, family, and church members; mostly through conversations, but also through personal invite and social media.

This year has been the hardest of my life. I chose the read through the New Testament plan. Through the teaching and scripture passages, my faith has been strengthened. Over and over I have been reminded of God’s love, goodness, and faithfulness. While life is hard we have hope and nothing can touch that. Thank you for putting this app together and being willing to share it for free. I pray God’s blessings over you and this ministry and that you all stay faithful to HIM.

It’s not just the plans but the entire app has touched my life. I like the introduction and explanation to each chapter prior to going into the Bible scriptures. I can visualize what is transpiring which deepens my understanding of the messages in each book of the Bible. This concept is truly a help for me to hear the Word no matter what I am doing. I just finished the New Teatament in a year plan and feel that I know my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ better than ever before. I love how they take a chapter at a time and dive into it. There are days when a certain part really hit home for me and I would share it with anyone that came to my mind that I felt needed it like I did. I feel God’s presence daily now and I have learned when I ran hearing from him.

TTW has helped me to be consistent with my daily devotions. The content is amazing. Today I finished the NT in a year plan. I have gotten closer to my Lord and Savior by being in the Word everyday. Thank you One last thing, please consider donating to TTW.

I started the New Testament in a year as it is my son’s first year in high school. I have written notes throughout the Bible that I bought specifically for this. I plan to continue to listen to guides and journeys until he graduates and I will give him this Bible as a graduation present with notes and prayers written throughout his Bible. Through the Obadiah reading plan, I gained so much insight into how the Biblical narrative is one story that leads us to Jesus.

Historically, the study of Genesis has laid out God’s plan. It helps me more clearly see what God is doing in the world, and more importantly in my life as His child. Specifically Genesis has taught me about God’s forgiveness in my life, and how I need to forgive myself. Because when He saved me He covered my sin on the cross through Jesus life, death, and resurrection. I also learned in spite of all the characters, in Genesis, faults and failures God used their lives to fulfill His plan which help me to see that in spite of all my faults and failures God is using it to fulfill His purpose in my life. To know the Creator of all things, the Sovereign God who is in control of all things, cares about my life and His purpose in it is both humbling, and exciting! I’ve shared TTW mainly through word of mouth. I pray that God’s blessing will be greatly on you always. You’re making a difference not just in lives, but in the relationship between God and His children.

Can’t believe it has been a year! Thank you so much for this app and in particular this plan. It became a treasured part of a new morning routine. Often sitting in the dark with a coffee and my ttw app breathing in His creation and the word. I loved the context it provided to stick with it and see and understand the entire New Testament (not just a verse or book at a time). I also loved the discipline my commitment to the plan provided. I took the experience everywhere - work trips, travel, ski trips you name it I made space for the Word which was new for me. And I loved the consistency it provided in my life through a tumultuous year that was tough at work and where I lost my job and yet this plan helped me stay focused on the big picture, stay calm and keep my faith in God. And he has delivered as we close out the year. Thanks to all the TTW teachers - you have a gift for making the Word approachable informative and a joy to explore. There was a time when I would not read much of anything because one day I looked at my headboard and next to my Bible was a best selling novel. I went to pick up the novel and was convicted. How can I pick this book up if I’m not even willing to pick up my Bible? So I didn’t pick up any reading material for several years! Sad but true. Fast forward-I meet and marry my husband. We would argue over Christ, church and the Bible and I know in my heart that I need to find the answers to his questions of “ how I know” but I don’t know. Most of all, I need to know because I’m not sure where to find the right answers for myself but I know I need Christ. Eventually we started going to an amazing church and they introduced us to you version (another amazing app). This is where I found TTW. This is also where we started to grow again in Christ. I have shared this with my small groups, brothers, sister, mom, strangers in the airport and others that I meet along the way. I feel like my family has grown exponentially and I can not express my love and gratitude enough. You all are able to express and explain Gods word in a beautiful manner that reaches me and countless others. May you all continue to be the hands and feet of our Mighty God.

I discovered TTW when I was searching for Bible Prophecy plans on the YouVersion Bible App back in 2016. Your study on Revelation was one of the best studies on the complex book that I’ve ever used — and I’ve done many. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to understand Bible Prophecy. I was so impressed that I downloaded your app and have been a faithful user ever since. I truly enjoyed the New Testament in a Year plan. I’m starting a plan on YouVersion to go through the Bible Chronologically. I plan on using TTW book by book along with the YouVersion plan. You should do a chronological series for the OT in a year. That’ll be a challenge! Thank you for your hard work on the app. I’m recommending it to my new Bible study group.

I just finished Habbakuk. Powerful! Relevant for TODAY! Encouragement to wait for the vision though it tarries! Reminder to praise and keep my focus on the ONE who is still trustworthy even though it feels like the world is getting worse each day!!!

My husband and I did this plan this year. We have learned so much. It helped us study the word every day. We loved the book of Revelation. We were so excited to complete this plan together. Thank you all for the time you took to do each book and chapter. Personally when I use to read the Bible it sometimes was confusing or I didn't understand what somethings meant. Going through each chapter with you all helped me understand what I was reading. I teach Children's church and children's Wednesday night class. This helped so much. You all are a blessing. I started the 19 Journeys over a year ago, as a way to get a full ingestion of the entire Bible. I am closing out Journey 10 this week. I like the fact that you can stick to a plan, or accelerate a Journey if you decide. I don't remember everything I am reading, but this process made me realize that this is a lifetime pursuit. And I love the teachers, who keep every step engaging, and remove the intimidation factor. Anyone can start a Bible habit. Thank you TTW!

I struggle with depression and every once in awhile suicidal thoughts cross my mind. The verse I have learned to revisit every time that happens is Jeremiah 29:11, and that reminder from God that He has plans for me always seems to snap me out of those toxic thought ppatterns. Because of the plan about the book of Jeremiah I have a better understanding of the whole story that surrounds that verse.

I love what this TTW app is doing to me. I have been greatly encouraged to read the Bible more than before.i have the goal of reading through the whole Bible this year from Gensis to Revelation. I am sharing this with all my close friends to join.
