Wall of Love for TTW

The brief expositions, specific applications: personal, familial, and societal have gently pulled me closer to our sovereign Lord, and consistently strengthened my faith that God is in control even when the evil world around us is spiraling from bad to worse! Knowing the end game, being with the Lord God forever, is comforting. To God be the glory!

This is my very first conscious journey through The book of Genesis, but it won’t be the last! I really benefited from the chapter by chapter discourse - I learnt so much and gained insight to more resources - thank you! My takeaways from this book came mainly from Jacob’s biography (I am learning to appreciate Jacob, God is so gracious to include him as His representative, I wouldn’t 😄). 1. God’s constant commandment to us - “Do Not Worry “. 2. God’s consistent promise to us - “I Am with you Always.” 3. The one thing that we must continually remember - “We are on a pilgrimage to Heaven. We don’t belong here.” Lots of questions were thrown up whilst reading Genesis, I’ve been doing supplementary reading. There are not enough hours in the day! I’m loving the journey.

Your app is very easy to use, which makes using the program a breeze. I enjoy listening to the word in my quiet time. It's nice to go back and listen again if I need to. Highly recommend to others

I just finished the book of Amos. I was continually struck how God is calling us to holiness. The image of the plum line was the most profound during this reading. Thank you TTW for providing this resource.

I would most of the time see this app’s ad on YouTube. I love to study God’s word, listening in the background whiles I work. Bible apps such as Logos has been of so much blessing to me with all its in-depth insight. I did actually uninstalled other Bible apps both on pc and phone when I got the Logos app. It became my all in one go to app. But then….this app (TTW) keeps popping up, so well…..I thought let me just take a look and besides I can uninstall at my will. But then….This app is GREAT. So great that I finished the 1st Journey in 2 days. Not because the phone is on auto play, but because it’s enjoyable (can’t really explain the feeling). You know, it’s a gold-mine when you find teachings that makes you understand the Word. Very easy to follow through. Great tool for teachers of the word. I share Bible thoughts on social media and i know this app will sure help me become better. So far I’ve only heard from Pastor Kris and he’s awesome. Love you guys. …from Ghana 🇬🇭

After the 2020 election, I was confused. I didn't know what was true anymore. I prayed to God to show me the truth. God told me, my Bible is true and you don't read it. I was blown away. I also saw a video where a pastor from China spoke about how they go to prison for reading the Bible. I looked around my house and I counted 10 Bibles. Again, God spoke to me. I found TTW app and started reading the Bible. What a difference. I do a chapter a day. I have read thru the New Testament and I am in Nehemiah now. One thing God showed me was to forgive people. I reconciled with my brother in law. Last year he died from cancer and my mother died from a fall. If I wasn't reading the Bible I would not have made it thru this. I also had a prodigal child. Now I am concerned with politics but my main focus is to share the gospel. Eternity is a long time. Thank you so much for TTW. I have so much more to say but it would take awhile to share.

Never heard God’s name till I was put in a youth center. I liked Him when I met Him, but I only trusted me. I was wrong. Shame has kept me at bay from God. How could he love a broken child a broken adult such as me. Your commentaries and explanations has been magical. I realized God never left my side, I’m still alive. Have I put shame behind me, not totally but we’re working together on it, with your help. Love was never in my vocabulary, it’s slowly creeping in, the pain still hangs around though but such is life. I’m glad God showed me you. I was fortunate enough to be raised in a Christian household and have been an active member of my local Church wherever I lived. After I retired, my goal was to learn more and deepen my faith in my Christian walk. I devote an hour a day to Bible Studies and reading a variety of daily devotionals and books. I downloaded the Bible app a few years ago and have done a variety of their studies. I found TTW on the YouVersion on the Bible app and enjoyed several studies. I finally downloaded the TTW app and now am doing the yearly Bible study. I am so grateful to all who participate in making this possible for everyone . This helps so much in learning more and deepening my faith and helping me in my faith walk.

I love to the world his help me get through many , many books in the bible. I then go and read those books in the bible myself.

I have always struggled to get through certain books, especially the books of the law and the prophetics. Through the Word has greatly helped me. And that analysis before each chapter is exactly what I need to give me more understanding of the word. Thank you!!!

I love this app! It has changed my life. I can understand the context of each book thru the provided narration of each book. I now have a much deeper understanding of the book of Isaiah! My neighbor has now downloaded the app and uses it almost daily :-)

My Bible study group is reading the Bible in one year. Through The Word has been instrumental in getting us off to a wonderful start, helping us see beyond what the words say. TTW also helped me understand and see more of where Jesus is in the beginning of Israel's story. TTW is totally helping me stay not only committed to wanting to know more but focus led in doing something I never thought I could do (read the Bible with interest and excitement). Having read the entire Bible in a year several times, and reading the NT in one year, has given me greater insight. What I loved most was the inter-mingling of the gospels with the letters. I use TTW to do my chronological Bible study. I also study Proverbs, and James. I can say there is not another app that can compare to how easily TTW helps me to fully understand, to grasp what I'm trying to learn. It has touched my heart and helped me grow stronger in my faith.

I am 86 yrs old and have been on a journey with Jesus since I was 18. The last few years have been hard with losing my beloved husband to Dementia and then a year of mobility difficulties. I have to say that I was aware of God’s presence but felt that my daily Quiet time was not all it should be, nor how I wanted it. I spoke with a young friend from my church who suggested that I try TTW. It has been a blessing in so many ways and each morning I have looked forward to time in the Word. I’ve been reminded of so many truths and this has encouraged and revived my prayer life. Thank you to the teachers and my prayer is that your ministry will be greatly used of the Lord.

I have so enjoyed TTW. I started two weeks ago and just finished the third journey. I had an accident a few years ago, which gave me a severe concussion and made reading a challenge. So being able to listen to your explanations of each journey and have the scriptures read to me, has been an incredible blessing. I also shared TTW with a friend and she is also going through it with me. It’s the way I start my day, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for it!

This devotional or Bible app is wonderful for helping me read along, study and increase my knowledge of God and His Holy Word. Informative, refreshing and even humorous at times, it helps me in furthering my study in the Bible.

I absolutely love this application! I have been using the YouVersion app for many many years. He actually started using it when it was first released. However, I have switched over to the through the Word app. Your application is so much more streamlined. The user interface is much easier in the content that you have is very robust. But I also like is that your application can be used by those with cognitive impairments, those with vision requirements, and those not is familiar with all of the complexities of navigating complex user interfaces. You’ve done an outstanding job on focusing on God‘s word, rather than trying to develop the tool to the point where the tool is the focus and not God‘s word. absolutely outstanding job, and now my new favorite application for understanding God‘s word, and one that I recommend to everyone now! There’s not really another thing like Through the Word. It is a great supplement to deeper dive study programs. But for the past 6 years I’ve been using it as my morning wake-up. The audio guides give you a bite sized reflection on the chapter. For some of the denser prices of scripture, there will be several audio guides. They have a really great app that allows you to create groups and you can audio record your thoughts and it sends it to the rest of the group. Great for groups scattered in different locations!! This team is great! They are constantly innovating their app to make it better for us!

Through the Word has changed my life. I found it about 4 years ago and the Bible has never been more understandable!! I share about it on Facebook all the time. I recommend it to everyone I know and I have friends who are listening to it with me now. I am so grateful to God for Kris and the whole Through the Word team— and also to YouVersion where I originally found Through the Word because I needed to understand Revelation. I have answered this before, it is a favorite tool for being in God's Word and learning from excellent pastors who also have the gift of wise applications. I love sharing with new and old Christians how to use the app and grow their faith. Romans 10:17, always a favorite verse! I am very thankful for TTW!

I’m so incredibly grateful for this amazing App, it has helped me understand the Bible 1 million times more than I ever would by myself. I would start my day out watching news until one morning I agreed to start my day out with God. I found through the word app and started listening to it. That was close to eleven years ago. I had never looked at the lives of Abraham, Isaac and Joseph beyond the Sunday school level. This guide helped me to see their lives and legacy as adults. Through trials and tribulations they maintained their faith and trust in God. I have been wrestling with committing some parts of my life as God is commanding. The timing of this study was perfect for me. Thank you for this app and guides. Is has changed my perspective on simply reading the Bible alone. Going deep and having a guide through each verse and chapter while staying away from “opinions “ or religious interpretations is the best approach to understanding Gods word. It is what it reads and TTW sticks to that.

I have struggled against legalism for years, but the study through Romans has shed light on grace. It is foreign to what I've been taught, but i will keep trusting grace.

Studying with Bro. Peyton through the Gospel of Matthew has been refreshing, reflective and revealing for me. The teaching segments are just right for me at this juncture in my life. God be praised for the work being done in this ministry. My desire is to complete the New Testament study this year.

I have been enjoying through the word for several years. On August 18th, 2023 my husband came home from work and was not feeling well. From that point on, he was unable to eat until 3 weeks later when he had a feeding tube placed. The diagnosis: a rare and aggressive form of cancer. We spent most of September in the hospital. Before I knew it, my strong, healthy husband had lost 25 pounds,was on dialysis, chemo and was fighting an infection. During every day of this time, I had my phone with me of course, and therefore I had Through the Word with me-always available, always biblical, always centering me again and again on scripture each morning as I woke up at the hospital. I knew that we were going through a difficult time, but I didn’t know that David would see Jesus on November 27th. From almost the first moment, God displayed His presence again and again in one amazing way after another. We were not afraid. We were not in despair. He filled us with joy and praise in the midst of stomach cancer. Doctors came into the room to give us one bad report after another; they would pause for us to grasp it and react, but we just kept saying, “What’s next?”. When they noticed our strength, we told them repeatedly: it is our Savior Jesus Christ who dwells in us. People we didn’t know came up to us and started telling us their testimony. Every nurse, tech, housekeeper, who came into his room heard about the Lord. Some of them said, “We like coming in here; it’s like a different place”. We were at home by the end of September. We were told he would have “not years, but not months”, so we hoped for at least a year, and of course we all prayed for complete healing-and, “Thy will be done”. We hoped to spend this time focusing on our 4 grown children and our 3 bonus children; and with our 10-month-old grandson and our brand new granddaughter whose birth I got to witness on October 12th-our 38th anniversary. I cannot begin to share all the testimonies of this time, or of our lives in general; apparently some of these are just for me to treasure up in my heart. But I am grateful for the ministry of Through the Word; you were part of the amazing presence of God and His powerful Word during this time.

This study has been an encouragement to me as I listen to the cries, hurts and internal struggles David had as I was diagnosed recently with cancer and am recovering from major surgery. God hears our laments.

I love TTW. It’s so easy to understand. I am doing the Journeys this year and making notes every day in my journal. It’s all about Jesus and loving others like He loves me. I have shared the app with several friends.

I just completed the study of Genesis. I've read the book before but, Pastor Kris gave me a greater understanding of the text. I fascinated at how the stories opened up to me and gave me a deeper look into the lives of the people and the meaning of the message.

I have learned a lot in journey 17. When I would hear the teaching I kept a picturing what is going on in the world today and the wars . This is history and it explains so much. I am also thinking about the future and how we in the US are seeing these disasters also. The Bible coming to life. Journey 17 is so realistic to today’s times. It’s scary. I also remember that The Lord is merciful and forgiving. Jesus made a way for us to be given another chance and to have faith for the good to come. I believe and have faith. I look forward for when Jesus comes but I the meantime we have work to do and talk to people about Jesus. I have told many people about how TTW has changed my life and I have family and friends using the TTW app. I am your biggest fan and you don’t even know it. I never knew how I was going to read the whole Bible in its entirety until I found TTW. It’s now going on three years but I’m can see the light heading now over to journey 18. Woo hoo. Love it . I’m doing it Praise God. Thank you for all you do.

The study on the book of Revelation is one of my favorites… it really helped change my perception on that book of the Bible…

I’m coming out of a legalistic experience that suppressed grace and forgot how to have fun and enjoy being in relationship with Christ. God is showing me often it’s not about man-made rules. I absolutely love Through The Word app. I have always struggled understanding the Bible. Then last yr when my church began the Bible in a year as a church, a friend told me about your app. It really helped me understand a lot more than l ever did. Those nuggets of wisdom, clarity and wow didn't know that's, fueled a fire to dig deeper and learn more. So this year, I am slowing down, and starting the journeys on the app. Taking notes, using 10 questions for Bible study. I'm loving it, I'm learning it. Thank you for what you do.
