I’m 67 years old. Always had a reading comprehension issue, but listening to this app has been awesome. I can stop and rewind. If I need to fully understand. Kris Langham is so enjoyable to listen to. I wish I had found earlier. Going through the book of Revelations. All I can say is wow, learning so much more. Thanks for allowing me to listen free! I just wanted to say thanks. August 20th of 2023 I decided to accept a challenge in my local pastor's sermon to try to read the bible for 66 consecutive days. Within a week I set up a Facebook bible study and invited 10 of my friends to hold each other accountable for those 66 days. My agreement was I would commit to 66 days with each person no matter when in the journey they began (if someone new came in, I'd start my count over.) this kept me accountable. I'm 200 days in and the participation from the original 10 is really just 2 or 3 of us but we are still at it. We're using the journeys in the app and are on journey 4 most of the way through Exodus. 200ish days. I have always believed in God and have led a life that has been surrounded by tragedy and in the last few years I have been driven to try to forge a better relationship with God and my own faith. I'm just trying to say that the app and your commentary has been instrumental in my journey and I appreciate it. Each day we continue on with the journey and one of us will post our summary or thoughts about the chapter of the day and we leave if for discussion amongst ourselves. As someone that has never really read the bible but often try his best to be a Christian, I just wanted say thanks, you've helped open a door to my building a better relationship with Christ.

TTW has given me a clearer understanding of the scriptures. All the plans touch in some way, through better understanding of the scripture, making me mire curious and at times I wonder. What it would have been like to walk the road with Jesus, I am sure if was not easy for the most part. I share with friends by forwarding through emails, I have tried to chat with friends and family but ....? I should try to remember what Pastor Robert says start with your own story, everyone has a story of how they came to JESUS.

Well we did Leviticus. I learned a lot yes it was bloody but when it was unpacked for us by the pastors you saw the reason for knowing and learning about this chapter.

To me, the book of Acts displays the awesome power of the Holy Spirit. The gift that Jesus promised showed up in a mighty way and turned ordinary, meek men, and women into bold evangelists, sharing their story with great oratory skills. I’m impressed how PETER gave, what I consider to be one of the greatest sermons in the Bible when he spoke to the crowds about Jesus at Pentecost. His words, or should I say the Holy Spirit’s words, were succinct and striking; bold and penetrating, and thousands were saved that day. When the newly saved followers departed for their homelands , the global ministry of Jesus had begun. The same Holy Spirit does his work today, through ordinary people who call themselves Christians. We live our lives and give our testimonies, not knowing how they will be received. However, the Holy Spirit uses us to expand the glory of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ words to spread the gospel were prophetic. And we live put His prophecies daily. TTW, has enhanced my understanding of this phenomenon. I am very grateful to the TTW team for teaching this lesson, and all lessons of each book in the Bible, so very well. Praise God! He gets all the glory.

Using this app has allowed me to be more consistent, and develop more of a wonderful habit as I grow closer to God and align myself closer with my faith. Truly a second experience.

I am cureently going through a tough time at work. My bosses hqve it against me forgetting all I have done. I am stressed out just thinking of going back to work. But using this plan of Peace has encouraged me. Having gone through the book of 1Samuel and understanding the challenges that David went through, and the prayer he made to God, I praise God because He is able.

I was raised by Christian parents who were missionaries in India for 18 years. My dad also spent many years as a minister and he love Jesus and passionately lived for God. We had family devotion morning and evening and memorized scripture weekly. My parents faith was real and effected very part of their lives. I say this to let your know that I am familiar with the Bible and with Bible study and Jesus is my world, my life, my love. Having given you that background I want to say I have been a daily student of your Bible reading plans for several years. Many of the book I have done more than once. I love the commentary you provide and your Bible reader puts such great emphasis into his reading. I have recruited ….I have no idea how many followers for your Through the Word plan. It is precious to me and my time spend with you, God and my coffee is the highlight of every day.

Just read 1st story in 17 books of bible I been Christian about 10 years now due lovely mentor you see I use be drug addicted and throught times we spent she shared the gospel with me and told me who god was and all he did what he did for us and cross ✝️ and i whent to chuch one Sunday and there fellow Christian come to me and said I have message from god I think god who’s he he said god will restore what locust have eaten and after talking my mentor I started attend church and took up my cross and give my life to Jesus Christ and few months later go baptised and I am still child of god I do share gospel and tell ppl there salvation in Christ and what he did on cross i pray daily and listen Christian music give thanks to god and I started going bk to jubilee the church I baptised at after Covid me and my dad talk about bible a lot and my mentor in question recently Sadly when to Glory in other words was called home my special friend will alway place in my hart we all trying come to term with our great loss she be forever remembered and I am so thankful god sent her to me I really need someone and she shared gospel with me and and I am saved from god wrath in his overcoming of the world 🌎 I search for app I can understand I stumbled up on TTW and makes perfect sense if my mentor wasn’t a Christian she was sent to me at time I wouldn’t have known about Jesus Christ or what he did and I say not all angels have wings 🪽and I know that god spread word through other ppl and I am so so thankful how he change my life and brought bk the brink of death and I give thanks to him every single day I have clean of addiction nearly 8 years now I sent a picture of my baptism 10years ago lady in picture was my mentor her name was Julie and man in picture is Julie’s husband Ian

This was so very enjoyable and understandable I love how it was presented and making it so memorable for the book of judges.

The app has helped me a lot with my walk with God lately, due to the fact that it 's been a bit difficult to sit down and read from my bible and any commentary that i have, which i did for many years. It's easier for me to listen to the bible and combine it with it's teachings, which are short (perfect for me cause i can't stay focused for long 😁). Keep it up

this episode awakened my spirit to the reality of the fact that all the beauty of this world was created from invisible things. This means to me that the things I see do not have an effect on what God is doing in my life and Marriage. There's an aspect of the INVISIBLE POWER OF GOD!.

The “Journeys” on TTW are very eye opening! This particular Journey 6 struck me personally enough to put it out there saying; you have allot of work to do meaning me. I believe it is VERY important to visit and absorb Proverbs because it is life’s biblical guide! After reading journey 6 I felt and still do feel unclean! However, the one assurance and Hope I have is the following: Christ Died and covered my sin! His love for me is never ending! I have hope because the above will never cease!

I have really enjoyed these lessons. So glad I chose the Explanation of Revelation as my You Version Bible plan which led to me download the TTW app. I will refer others to download. Pastor Kris may God bless you.

TTW The end times has inlightened me through the open dialog Commentary throughout this study. It has been very enjoyable and informative.

I am new in the studying of the Bible, I stumbled into TTW when I was searching for how to study the word with a guide and good explanation. It has been amazing and I bless God for this opportunity as I derive so much joy in studying the word.

TTW has help me in a tremendous way to study and understand the bible I no longer feel alone and confused reading the bible. I started listening a couple of, but I kept it to myself years ago, but this year started it and decided to share it with my husband, and now we can sit here and read/listen for at least three chapters in the Evenings and it’s so odd because I always thought reading or listening to the Bible was boring, but they make it so educational, so fun and interesting and before we know it we are caught up on the book of the Bible that we started . My husband says did we just listen to three chapters I’m like yeah , That was awesome. Our marriage was rocky the first year but I don’t do well with change and once we got in, I was scared because I had some problems with my previous marriage physically and emotionally abuse And I didn’t know that God had told my husband now that I was the one that God picked for him I always thought that God told both parties. Well, I guess he probably would if I would sit down and listen long enough but as we listen to these chapters and verse breakdown, it becomes so easy to understand I find myself getting into different books of the Bible and in my own quiet time I’m able to get through five or six chapters and it makes it so easy, I just want to say thank you so much for bringing the Bible to the forefront of our marriage and helping us to sit down and listen together as a family .

TTW is so awesome, always anxious to see what the next chapter teaches. The TTW teachers make it so easy and exciting. Didn’t know reading the Bible could be so fun.

Listening to each chapter of each book of the Bible has opened God’s word for me. God has led me to exegesis of his word. I never knew or heard of this word before the Holy Spirit spoke it to me. TTW helps me to search the Word and go deeper in my studying. Pastor Kris and Peyton are hilarious too!

I love TTW. I listen in the mornings as one of my devotionals. I was listening to Temptation when I realized that my childrens church students who are 4th-8th grade would benefit from hearing these truths at their age. I fear they will face so many temptations in the next years. We did a 3 weeks study on temptation and it went fabulous! Thank you so much for TTW. It has helped me to keep learning and to teach!

TTW App makes the study of the word easy and achievable even with a busy schedule. I just finished the plan on the book of Job. Truly impactful. The explanation is well broken down and very relatable. I have learnt more about God's sovereignty and my frailty in relation to His purpose. I will be sure to share TTW with my friends.

John's detailed account of the life of Jesus brings out the true gospel message of God to us. Right from Chapter 1 we get to know Jesus as the Word from God and by chapter 21 He invites us to follow having, He continues to feed us and invites us to feed and take care of the Lamb and Sheep. That's what matters most.

I had never heard Pastor Sandy before, but his easygoing, and deep teaching was amazing. I got so much out of this study of Hosea. It really helped me know that the heart of my Father and saviour was even more for me as a son than I had ever realised. Thank you all involved. P. S. The lady who reads the NKJV on the app is wonderful to listen to. It's an amazing job.

Every plan I have listened too has pulled me deeper into the word and shown me that almost every story or person/s were broken in someway or another. It has broken it down to an understanding that a child can listen to and learn from. It reminds me of my father who passed away a few years ago and who wanted so badly for me to want and understand the Bible in a way that was not typical for most. What I mean was to search and ask questions and these plans makes me want more and they answer some of those tough questions I can no longer ask him. Thank you all for your devotion to making this available for everyone. God truly is amazing!!

It reminds me everyday that no matter how bad things get in your life Jesus is always with you and will never leave. If you have God in your corner fighting it can’t get any better. He is our only real hope in a dark world. We can call on him 24/7 and he is there for us. It just can’t get any better than that. I will always remember it’s not in our time it’s in his. Wow! Wow! Wow! I just finished the book of Esther and the way the story is told is phenomenal! I've known this story on my life, yet at age 60 I found myself riveted waiting to hear what the next interesting disclosure would be and what I had missed in the story all along. Thank you so much for bringing it to life like that!

I found myself a widow after 36 years of marriage. Our marriage wasn’t perfect, but it was perfectly wonderful. I know God’s plan is not for me to be alone. So I am believing God for my “Boaz” and looking for practical advise about relationships in the Word of God. I love how Through the Word uncovers the many layers of truth the book of Ruth reveals. The practical wisdom about relationships and the sweet glimpse of God pursuing His people. I highly recommend this study and am sharing it with my family and friends.

I discovered TTW about 6 months ago. I have learned so much about how to deepen my relationship with God through the different chapters I have listened to. I just finished the book of Ephesians. I LOVED IT! I only wish I had listened to this when I first became a Christian and started raising my family. I especially liked the B side add ons. I appreciated having the commentary prior to the reading of the chapter. This helped to understand what was going on and the setting and culture of that day. Also hearing it twice.

Through the Word is the beauty of God, explained. Through understanding, I have carried my favorite scriptures, in my heart.

Shout out TTW Pastor Kris and staff. I really enjoy all of your plans. I was hooked after I did the Revelations explained. I am now on the Book of Daniel explained. I have learned so much in all the plans. This Bible study is shared with my church member. We make comments and keep it moving. I like the one about Bible teachers where it’s ok to say I don’t know or I’m not sure. So many people focus on themselves and displaying how much they know rather than focusing the word. I’ve seen them Correct the pastor during bible study. One told the pastor she loves the Lord more than he does. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Kris I just finished chapter 7 second Corinthians in journey seven. I was never one of your youth students because I am probably 10 years older than you are. But I came across through the word app about a year ago and it’s been such a blessing from the first time, I started reading and listening to it. Great job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m not certain how many years I’ve been learning and enjoying Through The Word Bible journey. My first introduction was simply the four gospels. Since then I’ve enjoyed all of the 19 journeys, and am now into the NTY. I’m looking forward the study into the minor prophets. And if you create a study into the “major prophets “ I’ll enjoy that as well.” What is amazing to me, is that as often as I’ve reread the same books, however in a different order, or context, the story seems different. It’s likely my comprehension, or perhaps It is the Lord revealing more of himself to me, as long as I’m willing to listen and read. It is exciting that the “do overs” … (a technical golf term) is more so revealing and more understandable. I’m 80, I’ve known that Jesus is the son of God and is my savior for most of my life, my mother made sure of that as she taught Sunday School and gave me no slack. I’m blessed because of her. First of all God is amazing Jesus is Love This journey has truly opened my eyes to grace and love Unfortunately I have been walking around with a more judgmental mindset than I thought I was brought up in a legalistic religion Thank God I was saved from that emptiness This morning I received what I call a God smack I prayed this morning for God to continue to open my eyes to the sin that is in my life and to also allow me to walk in the spirit today I thought I was done with journey 4 so as I’m trying to go to journey 5 , 4 showed me I was at 97 % so I hit the arrow to see what I missed It took me to Gal. 5 then to 6 I was then at 98% I hit the arrow to again see what I missed It took me to Eph. 2,3an 4 Oh wow were my eyes opened this morning I thought that because Jesus confronted the religious leaders of that day, I was right with judging the people that are of the same mindset I WAS WRONG God open my eyes to true Grace and Love this morning with those scriptures I felt a gentleness come over my body that I can’t put words to Thank God for the spirit that dwells within me God reinforced the importance of grace while I was on my way to the store after studying The song He changed my name came on my music app The words in the song (says he changed my name from too far gone to saved by grace What a wonderful statement that is to me today

I have an hour drive to work. I start everyday in my truck with through the word. I’m learning so much. The speakers have become my friends. I look forward to my long drive because of this app. I went to a Christian school growing up, but I am learning so much more than ever! Thank you for this wonderful app!

In my daily reading of God’s word I often struggled thru the book of Hebrews. Someone suggested your app and instantly downloaded and went right to Hebrew. It was clearer and more easily understood. Thank you.

TTW has helped me to get back to a daily habit of reading and studying the Bible. I stopped doing that for awhile but thanks to TTW, I’m back on track. It makes me realize that my focus has been on the wrong things! Kris, today is 2/18/24. On 1/1/21, I began reading one chapter of the Bible at a time. I was searching for a means by which to study each chapter. I found TTW as a Bible plan through the YouVersion Bible app. For the last three years, one month, and 18 days I have thoroughly enjoyed, listening to The commentary on every chapter of the Bible as presented through your app. I simply cannot put into words with the effort of you and the team at TTW have meant to me over that time. my life has changed for the better in more ways than I can count. Good day Admins at Through The Word. It has really been blessings having this app on my phone. Algorithm actually brought it up on one of the adverts and I was glad I downloaded it. It has really helped my understanding of the scriptures particularly some controversial ones. I so much love the fact that the teachers are not imposing their thoughts and perspectives on the listeners but to help them to see what the scriptures are saying and leave them to form their own belief systems and opinions. I loved your explanation of James versus Paul. I always avoided James feeling like he was saying I wasn't doing enough and read Paul because He reassured that it was Jesus who had done it all. Now I understand they are explaining the same thing from two different view points but are in complete agreement. Thank you! That was awesome!

I just downloaded this app, and it's giving me so much good vibes, I think I finally found what I've been looking for. I've been looking for something that I can use to learn and know more about the Bible, and this so gives it and more to me. Thank you. Plus the UI is awesome!
