Wall of Love for TTW

This has touched my life showing me we are nothing without God. He is the only true and living God. Going through Job and listening to Job and the ones condemning him. Job had not sinned but yet he was suffering, but I have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and yet he will forgive me every time if I just ask for forgiveness, even though I do not deserve it. This is grace . Thanks You Lord for showing me your loving grace and mercy. Please forgive me where I have fallen short and sinned against you. I Love you Lord.

I am going through the Bible with 2 very dear friends... we all live far apart but our hearts connect every day via TTW Bible app.... currently we just completed Job ... thank you to all who work so hard to make this available to anyone who desires to walk through the Word!

This plan was amazing. Melanie Hurlbut is amazing teacher. She holds your attention and makes it relatable to your life. These palms dealt with hesrt issues of turnu g to God to stand against our enemy. They show God is always present and ready to help. He can handle our crying out and understands our weakness. He knows the future and uses David to prophesy about His precious son.

TTW is a great tool to reach a better, deeper understanding of the word of God. Very clear, absolutely concise, and 'in your face' in the right way.

Book I of the Psalms has been an absolute delight! I loved the insights that added color and context to the highs and lows of King David’s experience, making the journey through this wonderful BOOK so relatable and understandable. Thank you Thru The Word.

It has been a useful way to enjoy my journey reading through the entire Bible. By following the leadership plan, I have been introduced to Biblical characters and events that I never knew about it. I love both the learning and applications provided by the hosts, then listening again to the chapter narrated again. Thank you for this App

Good morning I am so glad I came across through the word app. I get up at 4:30 in the morning so that I can spend time . I came back to god last year. A good friend told me about the bible app . I bought myself my first bible . I was so excited . I have a hard time memorizing Scripture so I write verses down on index cards and take them with me to work. I found a devotion that I use in the morning as well called I heard his whisper. So bible EarPods Phone and through the word Notebook highlighter . I want to thank you Chris for explaining the bible so well. I am now able to understand what I am reading May the lord bless all of in ministry that you are doing Thank you

I use TTW every day, sometimes several times a day I just finished Colossians and I feel more in love with Jesus than ever before. And I sense his love for me more than ever before. I share some of the highlights I take with my online Bible study group. Thank you, Jesus for TTW.

TTW has help me get closer to God’ purpose in my life. TTW, I have done many plans and each one help me a different season in my life. By investing my friend we share in God’s journey together.

Before I discovered Through The Word, my daily devotional consisted of reading just one verse a day, and then depending on which devotional book I used, this was normally followed by a short passage by the author on how to incorporate that verse into daily life. Although that is good, I was only looking for verses to edify myself and help me get through the day. After discovering Through The Word, it helped me develop a hunger for really studying God's Word every day: chapter by chapter. It helped me to really want to read every verse in every chapter and to understand God's Word fully and to make it part of my being. My devotional time daily changed from quickly reading a nice verse only for the sake of myself, to really studying God's Word from cover to cover and getting to know Jesus because it's all about Him!

To be able to study and share the Word of God with family and friends on a platform like TTW is very exiting. We can all Grow up together before we Go up together using this study tool. Many thanks to what I call The Best Big Brother in the Whole Wide World (Archie) for introducing this plan to our family and friends. Pastor Kris's teachings are insightful and comedic at times but are always in line with the Word of God. Many Thanks for TTW

This specific plan of Psalms has been helping me as I grieve the loss of my best friend, Bible Study and prayer partner. I share almost daily through Facebook and messenger the nuggets of wisdom I received that day.

Every plan seems to speak to me right where I am in life. It has been a huge blessing. I love how things are explained in modern English. I have gotten so much more depth and meaning in His word. Thank you and God bless.

I loved learning more about faith and how it relates to trusting God. Kris Langham’s introductions to the sessions were so interesting. He is a gifted speaker. His understanding of God’s Word along with his ability to clarify it for the listener were very enlightening.

I just started the “journeys” this past Monday and today on Friday I have completed the first one. I just want to say it is so wonderful and I have learned so much. Although I have read the Bible through a few times, I have not understood some of it. Lately I have began to see how the Old and the New Testament are related throughout and I found that so eye opening. It was like a “whole new world” for me. I was so grateful to God when I found TTW in the Bible app, I shared it with my sister and her husband. She is always saying how she wishes she understood it better. We share the Daily’s from the Bible app and talk about it, but this is so much more helpful for anyone and for me it speaks to the way I respond to being taught. Kris Langham is a good teacher. I am so grateful to God for being with me and helping me understand His character. Jesus is my constant companion and the Holy Spirit has saved me from many things and worked on my mind and my heart as well as my snappy comebacks. They have been way less snappy and more and more gracious. I appreciate this ministry and I am so grateful to God for the work you all have and continue to do. Such a blessing. Be blessed.

Finding Through The Word via The Bible App, has been such a blessing. I have been seeking a good Bible study for awhile, and I was immediately drawn into Kris's voice, his ability to teach the Word, and in demonstrating how applicable the gospel is to life today, without judgement or hidden agenda.

Through some counseling, my wife and I were given the assignment to read through Romans, chapter by chapter, and write down what did every verse (or few verses) said and what it meant to each one of us. We both loved the exercise as it brought Scripture to a much greater personal level. We agreed to do this with every book in the Bible. Through the YouVersion Bible app, we discovered the TTW app. It has turned out to be perfect for this endeavor. We started with the book of Romans and are continuing with Matthew. Thank you for how TTW teachers show gospel truth throughout the Bible. I have just finished Journey no.4 - Law and grace and have been blessed and enriched throughout OT and NT studies. I pray that I may live out the gospel with God’s help.

Some time back I was doing my daily devotional in a New Testament book. Kris was teaching the book . He mentioned that his son was in Bible School and that his son loved one of his Old Testament teachers — It was through this testimony that after finishing that New Testament book I went to go listen to the lady that Kris’s son had in Bible School. She opened my eyes for the rich history of God’s people , the Israelites- the Jews , and I have been on this Old Testament journey since . I have been going through the Old Testament in an odd way — backwards from the minor prophets - since that is what Kris’s son Bible teacher taught , forwards . I just finished up 1 Chronicles with Peyton and he brought this book alive — such a good teacher , as all of you are . Thank you so much for this gift of Through the Word!

I love this app because I love the word. I love the speaker Kris because he motivates me to continue to listen to learn more about the word.

Absolutely love this app and how it has helped me become more faithful in being in the Word on a regular basis. I love the audio narration and the teaching has helped me understand things in a new way. I can do it easily even with a busy household with kids at home since I can listen while I'm doing routine chores. I can't wait to keep going!

I just finished the Book of Mathew over two days. The plan is irresistible and awesome. I so much love the pace at which Peyton Jones took the commentaries and guides. Kudos to Through The Word. More grace! Sending this from Nigeria.

I have gained a whole new perspective on the law and its value and the hope I have in knowing that the law was given to show my weakness as a human to live without the grace given to me by my Holy God.

TTW is one of the most powerful tools in my Bible experience. I share about it in my book, Experiencing the Bible, and talk about it in my blog as well as my Facebook group. In short, I tell everyone who will listen that this is one app they definitely need. The Leviticus study, which I just completed, has revolutionized my thought processes all over again, turning a book I already greatly appreciated into what may well be my favorite book in the whole Bible, so much so that I’m seriously considering writing a new book focusing on Leviticus. I never would have dreamed this would happen, and it probably wouldn’t have without TTW and a teacher who dared to say that Leviticus is his favorite book. He challenged me, and I am grateful.

I love the book of Romans. It is my favorite book of the Bible. I also love TTW. My first daughter and I went through your study of New Testament in one year in 2023. She lives in MN and I live in NC. We would text each other of what we did. Then we would do a little daily catch up with each other. Since then we do our own personal study (it may be TTW or something else) but still text each other saying what we did etc. We both love TTW 😊. I also tell others about this app.

TTW has open my eyes to what God wants me to understand about Him.. I began with the You Version app of the Bible discovering the TTW app for explanations. I often bounce back & forth utilizing both apps. After finishing journey 18, I decided to listen to all 19 journeys sequentially & just finished journey #4 fast forwarding a bit toward the close of Leviticus but saw the thread of Christ more clearly. Ordered Chuck Smith’s book on Why Grace Changes Everything & bought 1998 film Les Miserables. Thanks for helping the Spirit to guide my sanctification journey. Wow!

As always, through the word gets me thinking about scripture in ways I have never thought about it. I just finished this book which I've read many times before,and I don't remember before noticing the very last sentence. God cared about the animals. I don't know why but that just stands out to me. So now I'm asking God to show me why that sentence is in there. Thank you so much for keeping me digging.

Going through the Book of Acts of the Apostles with Pastor Peyton has been an amazing journey. His exposition of the book has really helped me and it was like I was there in the story myself. I have been use TTW for years now. I first discovered it through the Bible App and completed many Bible plans utilizing it. I downloaded the TTW app and absolutely love it. I spend many many days listening to the app while delivering mail. I am blessed to be able to do that. My understanding of the word, and of the God I serve has grown enormously. Kris, Peyton, and everyone involved in making TTW a reality,..Thank You!!! I can not put into words how much your obedience to God's direction, has effected my life. This specific journey has hit home with what my husband and I are walking through right now. He is in a pastoral internship and we are currently walking through a tough season. Without going into too much detail, the plans for 2Corinthians resonated in me so much. I felt like I was sitting down at a table with Paul as he encouraged us to keep our heads up, trusting and serving God with every step. Thank you again!! This plan truly set me before a mirror. I was corrected in how I handle being mistreated or overlooked. I was convinced in seeing my own converting through Haman. Instructed in the righteous shrewdness of Esther and encouraged in my streadfast resolve to see Gods kingdom advance and trust in God to deliver his people even when we don’t see his hand.

Words cannot express the joy of being taught by all the bible teachers at TTW. What a gift from our heavenly Father. There is this overwhelming feeling of satisfaction every time I open the Bible to be taught and fed by His Spirit. Yes “my life matters so are my days since I have a race to run. The way I run it matters and because He has marked out a part for me, I must run it in a way as to win” Thank you all very much.

The 3 day plan on peace has me talking with God more. I usually sleep 4 hours a night because of the stress in my life keeps my brain going a lot. These 3 days have helped me to slow down and be quiet with my Lord and Savior. Thank you.

I’m gonna keep this simple and direct. TTW is the best way for me to stay in communication with God. It’s consistent, straight from the source (The Bible), It’s easy to pay attention to, and most importantly it has Sandy Adams as a teacher!

This is my second time in Romans. The first time, I was like Saul no known as the apostle Paul, before Jesus found him in the road to Damascus. Then I read chapter 3 and realised I too am a sinner. I big one. So I can rightfully say that even though I was baptised in 2022, I found Jesus in the pages of this book last year. And I wept. I wept His feet. It still makes me emotional thinking back. I was self righteous and judgemental only to realise I am a sinner too. And Jesus… oh, Jesus! I fell in love with Jesus. I will never look at person with judgement the way I did before Romans again. And even as I did judge, Jesus who should have, didn’t. Instead He loved me! He saved me by grace. And I will forever be eternally grateful for that. This time in Romans, He just reminded me that I am not alone, through all of my trials. Jesus Christ is Lord! Hallelujah. Praise God!

I am grateful, so very grateful, it’s almost as if the Holy Spirit led me to this app. So glad all of you do this for free for us in the world that need the word every day.

This app is incredible! A nice tutorial that gets you started and makes it is easy to navigate. It has clear and concise modules that truly get you into the Word quickly. Great for personal use or to bring a group together for Bible study. All at no cost and no ads or any pressure to give. You can tell this is put together and supported by true Believers that only want to help you draw closer to God through the Word!

I’ve been in a dark place for awhile after 6 years in Afghanistan I returned home to a place I didn’t recognize dealing with PTSD and a failing marriage I felt that no one understood me. I attempted suicide twice and fell deeper and deeper into a rabbit hole which I felt the only way out was making a third attempt hopefullly the final attempt at taking my own life I reached out for help from a pastor who I thought was a friend and who told me that his church wasn’t to church for me I couldn’t believe what I was hearing I felt completely unworthy and broken I was abandoned by my wife, by my pastor and everyone I asked help from spiritually fell on deaf ears I was crushed and alone with satan in my head telling me unloved and worthless I was I given up on life and yearned for the mental pain to end. Right before making that attempt and crying by myself I cried out to God for help he sent a vision of a man I maybe spoke to only a few times to me having his number in my phone somewhere I called and he called me back within minutes and set up a sit down but told me of Gods love and how precious I was to him. That was a year ago since then TTW is a major part of my daily reading and devotional. I still deal with PTSD but suicide is the furthest thing from my mind. Thank you TTW for being apart of my recovery

It was exciting to see how the Holy Spirit guided Paul and help. Paul trusted the Lord and trusted the Lord when they saw Paul’s faith.

TTW has given me a structure for study and a platform for worship and prayer. I have referred this wonderful site to several others and pray for their assurance in the Lord. I praise the Lord and uplift this work for his glory and the blessings of men. Thank you!

I absolutely love this plan. I’ve been studying the Bible for almost 60 years and these plans bring Gods word to light. The knowledge of history, connection, culture, timing, and bringing all of Gods word together is a true blessing. These helps have contributed to bring my relationship to God to a whole other level. I’ve been able to share studies with my grown daughter who lives across the country as well as with my 12 year old granddaughter who lives next door. It’s a blessing to hear my granddaughters voice excited and listening to Gods word daily. God is definitely blessing every one involved with this project.
