I love this App It’s great being able to listen from Genesis all the way through the Bible and be able to dig so deep in to each chapter To Stop and Selah …just pause and think . This app helps Enrich the Text and ultimately my relationship with Christ Well done guys well Done

Thank you so much for this app. I am in tears as I listen to Genesis especially the story of Joseph. I am a missionary for more than two decades and had been through several unforgettable pain, rejection, and wrong accusations... Yet I don't how I and my little family kept going. I came back from East Africa after a decade of work and back at home I lost my son, experience depression for the first time in my life and sick for two years... In the midst of these all we have Loved the Lord 🥺

I like that the teachers sticks to guiding and encouraging users to their own seekig of the word and not just imposing their views. My experience has been great thus far.

Part 2 Oh, we use TTW as an online Ladies Bible study. We had trouble with the read together link - our primary communication app is BAND. Our work around was to sign up for the TTW plan individually and discuss it daily in our group on BAND app. Again, thank you for this minstry.

I found TTW over the summer and now incorporate TTW with my daily reading through the Bible using YouVersion Bible App. I listen to the corresponding chapters on TTW and follow along with the Bible reading on YouVersion. I have learned so much listening daily. (I really missed listening while the power and wifi were down following hurricane Helene's pass through SC). I was especially thankful to hear Pastor Sand Adams eexplains he non-evolutionary gap theory in the discussion of Isaiah 45. I'm not sure if I agree or not (for the last 45 years I have only heard 7 literal days of creation without a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Gen 1:2. OR billions of years in the "days", but that theory is what I had, somewhere in my earliest understandings and had no idea where those thoughts came from. Thank you for all the things I am learning as I go Through The Word and the greater closeness to our Lord and Savior and better understanding of God our father.

I understand the Bible so much better now since listening to TTW. I love how you give the history/story/explanation first, because it’s all that, and then follow it up with the chapter. It’s so clear. I’ve always enjoyed reading the Bible, but in the past it has left me more baffled afterwards, wishing I had strong resources available on my phone at just a push of the button! And now I do :) So thank you. I know my knowledge of the Bible has improved since listening to you, but I’m more grateful that my life has been enriched by first, the Word of God, and second, because my love for the word (Bible) has also grown. I listened to the whole book of Jeremiah; it not only changed my outlook on life, but it convicted me. We’re no different than the Jews of those days. Yet God had so much love and mercy for them just as He does for us today. It definitely made me appreciate Jeremiah’s commitment to his people but his obedience to God was astounding! This is not my world, a greater reward awaits me in heaven, that should always be my focus- obedience will follow when my heart is on God. And that’s what I’m working on! Thank you for making it available free of charge! I love it so much that I’ve shared with friends and strangers alike!

The first plan I embarked on is Journey 1 and WOW! The Spirit of the Lord has helped the teacher to explain to His best Now I understand Jesus more and I want to know him more. Thank you TTW.

I love the way the narrator is describing each scenario, it's as if I can see it and I'm actually there! I have strayed the last several years and this last year I was feeling lost and dealing with a lot of trauma. Someone told me about TTW and a couple of friends and I started journey 1. I learned so much about who Jesus is and his love for us. I was reminded of his love, grace, and forgiveness. It has brought me closer to God and has increased my prayer time and time with the Lord. I look forward to my time with my bible study daily and Kris has been amazing at explain everything and I always learn something new from him.

Setting aside time to study the scriptures hasn't been very easy. This app makes it easy for me to listen-on-the-go. Kudos to the team. ✨️🚀

This reading plan through Psalms reminds of the days of my youth when my family would sing songs to the Lord during car trips on vacation. Renee’s my spirit The Psalmist’s ups and downs and sometimes bi-polar like Psalms echoe my life as a Christian and minister who was paralyzed over 38 ago at 18. Yet through it all God is faithful.

When I started listening to Through the Word about 3 years ago. I was curious because the title of the devotion was Revelations EXPLAINED! I thought well explanations never worked before, but I’ll try this one just in case! I was so overwhelmed and excited by Kris’s teaching and was amazed to hear his explanations. I downloaded TTW and began to understand not only Revelations but I fell in love with the Old Testament. I had thought Romans to be a condemning book and was shocked to learn that it was actually full of Gods love! My entire life was changed completely starting from the moment I first listened to Kris and as I understood the new truths I was learning. Previously my life was dark, depressing and nightmarish, some light shone through of course, but I learned very slowly. It took about 1 1/2 years before it occurred to me that I was a new creation in Jesus Christ. lm constantly recommending TTW to other people including my Pastor! Through the Word has allowed the Lord to change my life and who I am completely. I was raised Jewish so I never had any “church teaching”. I struggled my whole life to try to understand Gods Word. I’m understanding through the teachings of all of the Pastors, and their wives and families. I know that every person that works on the team, including wives and families have influenced my learning. Just finished I Thessalonians. Great teaching, and perspective on how to apply this portion of scripture to our lives in current times. Busily occupying with hope and encouragement as we wait expectantly for our Lord Jesus! Maranatha!

I am new to this style of studying the bible but am really enjoying the impact full clarity that TTW is giving me. The bite-size teachings make it quite interesting & easy to handle.... I can run in between the different teachings in each journey to grasp the meat of the topics. Thanks to the TTW crew

This app has helped me to study my Bible daily. To understand the Word by having an app to get up to and listen to every morning has been such a blessing. I have become a better Christian. The Word says,?hide my word in your heart so you will not sin against me. The word will change you inside out and it will teach you how to follow Christ.

I love the way Paul's first letter to Timothy has been interpreted. Makes it so much easier for me to understand Paul's purpose and in a way my own confusions and what God is asking of me

Hi. I just wanted to say thanks for TTW. I have completed journeys 1,2 and 3. The Bible is not always easy but you apply it well. I also am half way through the marriage series with a couple of friends and am finding it a good base to chat through marriage issues so thanks very much. It could be a life saver

My small group and I just finished the New Testament in a year. I have loved every day. Learning, growing and maturing in Christ. I now have even more desire for Gods word and I want to keep maturing. What a great privilege to know that I have Gods word in my heart. That I know God and Jesus like Never before. We also loved that we could now comment to each other in the group in the app. It took a little getting used to recording our voices but such a great tool. Thank you for including that feature. On to the Old Testament now.!! Thank you at all at TTW

Through The Word is a true blessing from God. God brought me to through the word at the darkest time of my life. I am addicted to it! Through The Word has brought my knowledge and love of God higher and deeper than it has ever been. It has changed my life and it has brought me back into the light. I look forward to listening to it throughout my day, I wake listening to it in the morning and it's the last thing I hear before I go to sleep. I just lost my mom a few weeks a go. I just started this series. I stopped it and came back to it when things settled. So good, so perfect to calm my heart and thoughts and move forward. So hard to move on. But “I can do all things THROUGH HIM who gives me strength” Phil4:17

TTW has helped me awaken my spirituality. I am always looking forward to the word and the explanations that give me better insight about the texts. I feel encouraged and wholesomely happy.

I'm a new participant in th through the word app, just a few days ago, but this app already has taught me first that the Bible is not meant to be read from back to from just as it is numbered. I'm getting clarity about Jesus, His work and message,

Hi, I’m Chuck. I wanted to share a little experience I had with the book of Judges. I thought I was through with the book but noticed that chapter fifteen wasn’t checked off. I was a little puzzled but figured I would go back and listen to it. Peyton’s overview really spoke to me. As a recovered alcoholic and drug addict I am well aware of the battle between the spirit and the flesh or sinful nature. The Bible points it out very clearly in Galatians 5:16-18. I say, live by the spirit and you won’t gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the spirit and the spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature so you don’t do what you want. But if you are lead by the spirit you are not under the law! I’m painfully aware of that battle! As Peyton pointed out the only way to win is to surrender to the Holy Spirit. I’m afraid that it has taken me to long to get over trying harder rather than surrender! Surrender doesn’t come natural to the stubborn sinful nature! I’m sure you guys weren’t looking for a sermon 😂, I just wanted to share this because I don’t think it’s a mistake that I had to go back and listen to chapter fifteen as I believe it’s something I needed to hear and was able to pay special attention!! Hearing from the various pastors of Calvary Chapel is great for my growth through study. I look forward to hearing from them every day.

My husband and I absolutely love this app. We have been listening for about four years now and this is how we start our day. One thing I would love to see or hear is in the very beginning of each book where you do the introduction give information on who wrote it when the reasoning behind it the same type of information you find in the written Bible in the introduction if that makes sense. Right now we go to the written Bible first and read that introduction and then start the new book because the way it’s currently done you listen to chapter 1 twice but I would highly recommend this app to anyone your new believer or you’ve been a believer your whole life all of the teachers are amazing.

I've never actually genuinely rated an app. This is my first one. I think the app is great and love how I get to hear someone walk me through a bible chapter explaining everything. Keep doing the Lord's work ❤️

You can read and/or listen to explanation and then eead/listen to the bible chapter. It helps to form your own understanding with the bible and makes you search about God's intent for His word. I recommend this app.

I’m enjoying listening through books of the Bible and hearing commentary. I am a 56 year old former Chaplain with an MDiv. I’ve been disabled as a paraplegic since I was 18. My health no leaves me bedbound 90% of the time. I’m being reminded and challenged daily by Through the Word. Thanks Chris. God Bless Yall. Mike

I found it very difficult to read the Bible before and always started and stopped. I am a so grateful to have found this app. I am excited by the Word and the guidance from the pastors is awesome. I now read the Bible everyday (mostly) and it keeps me wanting to read and learn more. Side note I couldn’t update the app due to owing Apple so I found the podcast and read the YouVersion Bible so I wouldn’t miss out. I finally updated the app and I start my work day with the app and Bible on my commute to work on the bus. It’s a great way to start my day. I now am excited to hear the Word and stay in it. Thank you!

TTW has helped me be faithful to staying in God's Word every day. I love seeing how the Old testament points to Jesus. My son and I do this together. We encourage one another through this study.

Traveling this journey with a group of wonderful friends was amazing. We all discovered and shared the treasures pulled from scripture. Hearing each other’s voices each day was an added blessing. This will ABA!!!!

I did one program, and I thought I didn't like the format (repeating chapters for a couple of days). Now that I'm on my third program (Journey 1). I've come to appreciate the repetitive nature. It helps things stick.

In all my experience with YouTube ads popping up, I’m most grateful for the TTW ad that showed up at just the right time, which led me to download the app. I’ve always wanted an audio Bible app that also offers in-depth study breakdowns, but everything I found before was full of ads and locked behind premium plans. While I understand they need a way to stay in business, I’m grateful that TTW is free, with an option to donate out of free will. I’m only a day into using the app, and I love it.

Hello I just wanted to say thank you for TTW it something to listen to every day.After I lost my wife in 2020 l felt lost l read the entire bible then I was talking to my sister and she told me about TTW and since then I have been listening to it everyday l really like the way you explain everything and it has helped me to get through the toughest times in my life so again thank you so much for TTW

This journey has helped me think about, and start putting into practice treating others with grace. I am afforded that grace from Jesus. I want to start being an image of Christ. I want to know Him better and be a reflection of His loving kindness. He is awesome!

TTM is helping me to understand the bible. Preciously read and dis mot understand much of what I was reading. I am currently trying going through tha Bible, starring with the Ols Testament. I look forward to the narrative. My life is touched because of the increase of my spiritual knowledge. Shared TTM in my house group I.e how it is helping my understanding.

For now, my review stays at this 5 star for the brilliant idea of curating a readable format of the Bible at just 15mins/day. Thank you🙏🏽. I've always struggled at doing this better but I'm good at devoting 10-15mins to do sth per day. By the way, a DAILY STREAK system would be really really nice imo. It'll help to keep the spirit up everyday and in time, one becomes more motivated to read the Bible. God bless!

Love it. It's a great tool for learning and getting more insight. Even makes those boring genealogy chapters interesting. Love how it ties old and new testaments together, showing us Jesus in the Old Testament.

This app brings the Bible to life like nothing else I've ever found. Kris Langham and the other pastors are phenomenal Bible scholars who speak truth about every book by chapter and verse, through what they call Journeys. Check it out because you won't be disappointed.

Praise be to God! I have been able to handle a chapter everyday making it possible to start my day with God. Listening to God speaking to me through the bible early daily has helped shaped how I handley work colleagues and students - with love and tolerance. Hebrews has reaffirmed to me that ONLY Christ is worth listening to. Him alone identifies with my situation and is worth believing in. The place of christian community has been made so clear that it shouldn't be forsaken. I have shared TTW with my fiance and a couple of friends I'm discipling. Thanks for this noble Gospel work.

I just listened to Pastor Kris's teaching on 2 Corinthians 11, and I am so thankful he persevered through so much hardship and even the foreclosure of his home, and yet he continued to record teachings and to build this amazing ministry. I listen to the commentary every morning after I read two different chapters of the Bible. This practice has added depth to my knowledge and understanding of God's word. I appreciate Through the Word more than I can say and all the pastors who contribute to it.

The best way to study and understand the Bible. The way the Pastors explained the passages, you can share your study and comment. My husband and I are really enjoying this app.

TTW has helped me to better understand what I read. The teaching shows interpretation, in context and other meaning not just the obvious. With this you pray for a better relationship with Jesus and a life that is lived for him. Being a Christian because you love Jesus and not just a going to church Christian.

To see the lives of my loved ones be unraveled because of the truth that Gods word speaks to us individually just amazes me. God is so good and he is so faithful.
