I wish to thank TTW for leading me through the entire Bible by way of all 17 Journeys. It has been a real pleasure over these past, almost, four years.

I never really seemed to understand the book of Revelation, and every time I tried to read it, I'd get fearful. But I really tried to understand it. After doing this study with Through the Word I feel like I'm getting a better understanding. I've learned a lot through this study, and now I want to study it even more. Pastor Kris Langham is an awesome teacher, and I want to thank him for doing this. Any time I chat with people about Bible study and apps I mention Through the Word. It's that awesome!!! It helps you learn and want to dig more. Thank you all so much!!!! 😊

God speaks to us in so many ways for me it’s through people… I remember wanting to build a relationship with God but in my own time… pushing him to the side and trying to do things with my own strength and noticing nothing was ever working… Got myself into a situation n now I’m desperate for him to speak to me, but I wasn’t hearing nothing back until I’m told I need to read the bible. I would come up with excuses like when I read the bible I don’t understand anything or I’m easily distracted or the last book I read was of mice and men in English literature many years ago how can I read and understand the bible? God then spoke to me through a YouTube ad and it was TTW literally told me this app will help you with each chapter but I didn’t know where to start from. Desperate and no where to turn to I ask my pastor how do I build my relationship with Jesus I wanna get closer he tells me start with the gospel… I didn’t wanna ask too many questions so I just held on to that. Later on that week I was walking past a stranger he was on the phone and said “read the chapter where he washes their feet” later I got home that day and googled where does Jesus wash feet? And I was told this happens in John. This was my final confirmation that I should start reading John. I didn’t know Jesus, and who is best to describe Jesus to you? No one better than his best friend John “To whom Jesus loved” reading John allowed me to fully comprehend the gospel and TTW helped teach this in the best way possible thank u 🙏🏾

TTW has helped me with the journey through the Bible,it has been awesome, started reading my Bible and I planned to finish it at the of 2024 but a long the way I couldn't achieve and felt discouraged and towards the end of the year I saw this Bible app I knew this could help me with my plan Even if it didn't go the way I planned at the beginning... at least TTW has helped me in plan of reading the bible ...plus the awesome guide it's been everything inspiring thanks to my tutor kris on the bible guide ,more grace sir. Yeah just finished journey 1 And it been everything about Jesus It's has been an eyeopener to me about Jesus,his desires for us and how we are to live one other Thanks to the TTW .

I have been using TTW for almost 10 years now. Last year I read through the New Testament using the App and I just finished reading through the Old Testament today. I can’t really put into words how this journey has enriched and blessed my walk. I do need to give a shout out to Pastor Kris for his commentary on Haggai & Zechariah. Yes, it’s early Pastor Kris, but he has nailed it, you can hear and feel him as he speaks from his heart as he leads you through it. I know you could probably spend a year unpacking these two books, but I think that would just confirm the heartfelt message that Kris shares. (Please don’t ever update your message, I really don’t think you can improve it!) Then after those two books, Kris just adds the right amount of whipped cream when you listen to Malachi! Thank you for all time and effort involved to produce and publish this app! May God bless y’all.

Not only this plan, but ever since I began studying the Bible with TTW, I’ve experienced greater understanding of God’s word. I am so thankful for all of You!

I have completed my first study with TTW, "Romans". I am enjoying Pastor Kris joy, excitement and balance as he shares about each chapter. It is refreshing for me. I spent a little extra time in Romans 12. This chapter has come alongside what I've been going with the Lord over the past few years. The Lord has been pressing hard on me and helping me to stay in my own lane at work. I'll be at a Christian environment, we have differences. However, I am not the boss, I do not see the whole picture, and am only concerned/responsible for what's going on in my classroom. I am a rule follower, and spent some time with the idea of "weak faith" being related to that aspect of who I am. I quickly was able to separate; I come from a generation that does what the boss tells you to do, and that I don't need rules to be sure that I'm keeping my salvation. But I loved the prick, I loved the "let's check this out from the Holy Spirit". The approach taken in this particular chapter has been a challenge and an encouragement all at the same time. Very thankful I found this app, and looking forward to my next study.

It is wonderful to focus on God’s word and continue to grow in deeper understanding with pastors unpacking the message followed by listening to God’s word .

If you want to create a daily bible habit, this is your app! I've been using TTW for over 4 years now and this has been the most successful single thing I've done to bring God further into my daily life. The Journeys have a curated structure to show you all of God's message. They're the perfect length for the morning commute or just before bed. I felt like the app was such a blessing that I HAD to become a giver. If I pay for Spotify or Netflix, I could surely pay a few bucks for this.

My name is God's-road David Firima, I'm a Nigerian. I have been often deceived that the sin is satisfying and this has greatly hindered my journey with the Lord. For 6 years I have been up and down with my Faith. But I want to be serious with Lord from hereon. I'm thankful for this plan on Temptations.

Once again I was drawn in by the story telling and the sharing before the reading of the scriptures. Chris Langham is so gifted along with the others who also share their knowledge and understanding of scriptures. How they draw the Bible together is amazing !! Like pieces of a puzzle they fill the in and create a clear picture, I love to listen and often read along in my Bible highlighting & adding side notes! TTW is a gift to me!! Thank you 🙏🏼

I found TTW on the bible app in 2017 when I was a student and wanting to get closer to God. Even back then, when the app was different, I was immensely touched by how detailed and magnificent the bible is and it was all because of Pastor Kris. Knowing that he's a scientist and listening to him approach the bible in a scientific manner really helps! I remember immediately reaching out and writing an email to the TTW team to express my gratitude. I lost touch with God in the following years; I was being lukewarm. But this year I decided to get back into the word and I have been going through the Journeys Plan. I think in Journey 3, we go through the story of Abraham and Jacob and Isaac and it touched my heart to see how God is so considerate to his creation and how dysfunctional families doesn't stop His will or His providence 😭. It's really comforting to know that my mistakes, my shortcomings, my fears, my lies, flaws etc. are all factored into his plan and He will take me to where He wants to plant me. I cannot stop raving about this app. The lessons I learn from here, I use in my Sunday school classes and I use it to talk to my teenage cousins. Just yesterday, one of my cousins was asking me about abstinence and I immediately remembered what Pastor Kris said about marital advice in reference to Jacob. Men have to show the women that they're willing to wait for them and women to allow the men to prove their love to them. While I cannot support you financially , you are all in my prayers. I love you all so much and I cannot wait to meet you at the tree of knowledge at noon God willing! P.s. Pastor Kris's outros are the best 😆

I give you five stars for TTW. I just select a book of the table and listen while I sleep. The explanation is very simple, clear, and powerful. The diversity of teachers make it unique. Thanks

I absolutely love the Bible teaching! Pastor Langham is so gifted by God to really bring the Bible alive. I have been listening daily and am so very thankful for a completely new and better understanding of the great themes in the Bible. My truly born again experience where the Spirit opened my eyes to the scriptures was 9 years ago. Though I believed that Jesus was who He said that He was many years before when God brought me out of Mormonism , it was literally years before God told me to be in the Word every day. It can take many years to undo early life indoctrination especially when it included not believing that the Bible really is God’s revelation to man. So thank you. I praise God for you and tell my friends and family about this app.

Just amazing! I had no idea how powerful these two books are. Every new believer should go through these two books first, I wish I did but all is well. Be blessed

With my wife, we've now finished the 3rd book on this app. We've read the Bible before but this is a completely different experience. We're learning so much from Pastor Langham and seeing details that we've overlooked in previous readings. What an incredible power comes from reading and understanding Scripture and this app has made a huge difference.

WMy Sharee and I hand been married 40 years and some change. Even an old dog lille me can still learn. It's like Sharee says marriage can take work. So we will continue ypu work at it as long as we're breathing. Cris, are a good teacher. God bless. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

TTW has been a wonderful tour guide journeying through the book of Genesis. Very thorough, in depth teaching, easy to understand. I have shared it with friends & i also recommend it to everyone who wants to understand the Word of God better and also grow in faith.

My 2 young lady lodgers and I have just discovered and loved listening to Kris Langham going through Numbers, a chapter a day after our evening meal. Then I learnt about Through The Bible and find Kris and other speakers there most interesting and spiritually helpful (more interesting than the automated voice used in some books on YouVersion). Today I spent time praising the Lord after reading and hearing the introduction commentary on Ezekiel. It brought that book to life and I look forward to reading and hearing more. Thank you for making these commentaries available for free to us all anywhere in the world 😀.

It is easy to listen hands off. Very good insights on the Word. I encourage even those reading the Bible just coz they are curious or for studies to use the app the detailing in the explanation is really good. Love Kris Langham, his explanations are excellent (and funny!) This is a great tool to use for understanding the bible. Kris's explanation is followed by David Suchet (Poirot) reading the scripture - excellent! Wether you're a newbie to the Bible or an old hand, there's something for everyone - we can all learn something! I highly recommend it to everyone... This app is soo helpful in many ways. It helps me diver deeper into studying different Chapters by providing chapter audio and text and speaking to us an analytical view of the Chapter. They also just changed the Bible reading audio to a different voice that isn’t that familiar, boring, robotic man voice that is easy to fall asleep to. The new voice has emphasis on certain words and talks more live-like! Thank you all, Chris and the other creators/speakers for putting your hearts into creating a great app for us as siblings in Christ! I 100% recommend to anyone

I just finished Ephesians with my young adult son. We are South Africans, doing church planting under an unreached people group in Mozambique. Our son is studying with a grant in the US, and the distance and lack of means to visit has been a huge challenge. How do we still have a voice, especially spiritually over such a distance? We find the Through the Word app an immensely helpful tool in this. Our TTW discussions often spills over into in depth phone conversations. Thank you for this unique format and means to continue to have input into our young adult son's life!

I love meditating on the Psalms. I appreciate Kris & Peyton and their delivery of what they have learned and what God has revealed to them through their studies.

TTW has helped in so many ways. It has kept me on a daily plan to read/hear the message. All the plans have touched me in someway, am I doing enough? Is GOD pleased with what I do or is he frowning at me. I know I am not perfect but I am better than when I started to attend Church but still have a ways to go. Will I ever get there? I share with people in my congregation and let then know for me at least listening to the commentary I pick up and understand more, Through The Word is truly sent by GOD through your commentary. Keep up the much needed work, so so good. Blessing to the whole team that puts this together.

Today I have finished an almost three year journey. I have completed the Old Testament journey one chapter at a time. I have read through the Bible several times but nearly 3 years ago I wanted to go deeper than surface reading. I started this journey and quickly found it was like a mini Sunday school lesson in podcast form. It brought the events of the Bible into clearer focus for me and gave me a more concise picture Jesus in every book of the Old Testament. I even started journaling. My alone time with God has improved and I am serving in my church from a position of overflow rather than from a sense of duty. It is not longer “I have to” but rather “I get to”! Through the Word has helped bolster my spiritual walk with the Lord and for that I am eternally grateful. Please know that anyone I may influence for the Lord, you have had a hand in that influencing. Thank you doesn’t seem adequate enough but thank you and God bless you and your ministry.

I startedTTW in Revelation cuz I felt so confused about it! Pastor Chris you took the veil away + showed me Gods words were not meant to confuse! Walking thru ea chapter is so exciting to me! God’s promise ful filled + we have So much to look forward to! How are we worthy?! My 31yo son passed 5 yrs ago, then my sweet hubby Sept this year. But God! Revelation is the light in the times of darkness for me! I’ve shared TTW with many people + would listen with my Tom when he was so sick. It brought hope + a smile to us both! You are real, honest, hilarious + bring the Bible to life! I did a road trip to Yellowstone last year with 4 women (took 3 weeks) while Tom held down the fort + was so happy that I go. Little did we realize how much I would need that when he got his DX + to stand beside him all year thru 5 surgeries, radiation + chemo. God is good! I know where he is! He is not lost! Jesus welcomed him + our son was waiting for him. Praise God

The story of the greatest leader in all of the Bible. What’s not to love. How to build a life! Not just a story of building a wall but how the Lord builds us up and out.

Through the Word has been so instrumental in allowing me to immerse myself in God’s word. I listen to it every morning in my set asiste time for God. It has helped me enjoy the Bible so much. It has increased my knowledge and given me a greater understanding of God’s Word. I am grateful for TTW and always share it with others.

I'm currently serving as an Army officer, and recently deployed to Europe. I start and end my day with TTW... the biblical lessons are extraordinarily helpful; they inform my approach to my current role as commander of approx 300 Soldiers. And the lessons keep me grounded. I am beyond grateful for the insightful summaries and thoughtful analysis of each book of the Bible...the lessons are just SO well done...very educational, and very entertaining. Oh, I thank God for TTW!! I'm learning more about God, the history of His people, and how He loves us than I have in any other app format. I love hearing my friend's thoughts, how scripture impacts them, and that we pray for each other daily. I'm mostly homebound with a brain tumor and heart issue that are incurable. Between now and the day He call me home, I still get to be a part of the Body daily, to hear my friends laugh or cry as we lean in to the word. Thank you!! The explanation of Matthew 6: 13 made so much sense. God doesn’t tempt us it’s our own desires the enemy uses to tempt us away from God. My prayer should be change my desires to be for you Father and please deliver me from the attacks of the enemy especially when im weak and tired.

Absolutely incredible app. I highly recommend it to anyone Christian or not. It doesn't matter what your age is or how much of the Bible you know, Through the Word will match your needs and increase your understanding of the Bible.

The story of Jesus has always given me hope in the fact that we are loved by God. It inspires me to live a righteous life and to follow Jesus.

As a chaplain for 25 years I neglected regular Bible Study except Sunday School and church. But now as a bedridden minister I am thoroughly enjoying this TTW bible study daily. Thank you it inspires me to dig deeper.

Habakk Is so prevalent in today’s world. It made me understand God‘s ways. That the evil that is allowed in this earth has purpose, even if we don’t quite fully understand it. But threw it all, God is faithful. And in the end, we will see his glory.

It’s helped me, understand the context of the verse and in a way that’s applicable to my life. It encourages me to continue to delve into the Bible. I’ve shared the app with my daughter.

TTW has been an amazing tool for learning the bible and falling in love with the living word of God again, AKA Jesus Christ! It's amazing how there almost seems to be a duality to Scripture, since it speaks both to the current events of the time that the text is written, but also serves as a prophetic message for humanity as it unfolds. It's pretty epic. And I'm sure it knocks the socks off Satan as he slowly realizes how brilliant God actually is. LOL!

I am so grateful for Through the Word. The clarity it brings to my mind as I study each day is a blessing.I’m just finishing up first Peter and I thank God for it. I often share with my online women’s Bible study as we have read through the New Testament this year. May God continue to bless your ministry and provide for you in abundance.

This app is really fantastic; I have learnt a lot from through the word. One of the things I learnt is how to pay good attention to every word I read in the Bible; which has helped me understand bible more than I did before. Also, I learnt how to confidently rely on the holy spirit to guide me through my bible reading experience. In a simple term I love the app.

I don’t know what else to say about this App other than it’s absolutely incredible!! I was so scared to read the Bible because I had no idea what it was saying but having the phenomenal Pastors break down each Chapter to where it can be understood is a blessing beyond what I could ever image!! Add to it that I can go Through the Word with my sister on the Together option and it brings it to a level of blessing that I can’t even put into words! Hearing her audio comments after each Chapter and being able to leave her my comments for her as well has not only increased our faith but it’s helped us retain God’s Word as well! Thank you from the bottom on my heart for listening to God’s calling for you to make this App, Pastor Kris!! You have changed mine and my sister’s lives and so many countless other lives by allowing us to understand God’s Word and helping us write it on our hearts!!

The plan for the book of Daniel has been, I would like to say, humbling but it's been terrifying. The anxieties it has kindled are as awe inspiring as they have been overwhelming. Even some of the wise will falter. Lord please I would rather not falter but if I do, please let your will be that I align with your will before the end in Jesus' name I plead Amen 🙏

Thank you so much for this series on Acts. It really brought new light to these stories and helped me understand some things I didn’t catch reading it myself.

The amount to give was determined by your income and your love for those in some kind of need, following the leading of the Holy Spirit. Believers have been changed from "takers" to "givers", from fearful to faith-full. Making plans must be done under the guidance the Lord gives, willing to follow His lead without demanding our way. Finally, we are to seek to be a blessing to others in all we do.

I have been going through Psalms. Even though I have read through Psalms several times before, going through it with TTW has helped me see it differently. I am battling terminal cancer and there are dark days. But to see that even King David and the other writers had dark days, is really encouraging. They are honest with God, I was taught not to be but instead always be reverent. Now I am honest with Him and it is so freeing. My dark days do not seem as dark and my good days are even better. Thank you TTW

I just finished the Revelation plan. I have read this book of the Bible before, but reading it with Through The Word and having Pastor Kris explain each chapter has greatly helped me understand it so much better! I am grateful for the time Pastor Kris and Through The Word have taken to enlighten and explain each book of the Bible and I am looking forward to studying more of them! For years I've read a chapter and had a few questions about it but haven't known how to dig a little deeper in search of reliable insight. I've found the Through The Word app so helpful for hearing pastor's teaching on the very chapter I just read while I have those questions fresh on my mind. Sometimes carving out 20 minutes for bible reading can be a challenge for me but this app is helping me make that time count!

I don’t have many friends or family that share my faith, up until recently I couldn’t talk to anyone about my journey. Praise Jesus that my prayers were answered and my husband has been saved. Myself and my husband, listen to the Bible together on Through The Word. On long car journeys on holidays we go through chapters together. It’s been amazing to have this app on my phone. It’s helped guide our journey with God. I love the commentary when I don’t understand. And when I was alone, the app helped me feel like I had somewhere to go. Thank you TTW X

This is a dream come true, as a farmer, most of the time I find it difficult to really read the word of God again as I always desired, but with this app I can now read and understand the word of God very easily. I took the marriage plan part one and it was amazing, I hope to take the rest It opened my mind to a fresh perspective on marriage and the questions were like keeping my mind chewing all day and working in how to worn on my self to be better As for sharing, I just started the excersice so it's mostly with my husband I'm doing it with but I do hope to share with friends to enjoy this great benefits that I have

I was recommended TTW by a friend. Since then I have continued to recommend it. I choose a short peace plan because recently I have been struggling with unexpected poor health. I needed to hear the truths of peace with God. The background what it meant and to have Scripture read back to me. I am at peace with my situation. It is also the American election results day!! Thank you all for what hear read and learn.

I would like to thank the team at TTW specifically for the plan Anxiety #1. I am a nurse that works with troubled teens. After a particularly bad night with one of my patients, I arrived home very anxious and upset. My usual practices to unwind after a rough shift weren’t working fully. It still felt like there was a knot of emotions in my chest. While I am on Journey #2 right now, I was struggling to concentrate on the passage and teaching. Suddenly I felt inspired to check out the plans on specific topics and clicked on Anxiety #1. I ended up listening to the whole plan and could feel the knot in my chest getting looser as it helped me work through my feelings. Thank you for tackling a topic like anxiety in such a thoughtful and nuanced way.

We love Thai app so much! We are growing in our faith and our understanding of the Bible everyday and getting to bounce ideas off of each other. Wonderful daily addition to studying the WORD!

TTW has helped me to learn more about the Bible and although I may have read a verse within one of the Chapters we've covered, I didn't understand them as well as when Pastor Langham has explained it with such detail and a little humor have made it SO interesting that I actually look forward to reading my Bible DAILY with him! I am going to continue reading the Bible with Pastor Langham until I have completed ALL of the Journeys he has to offer and will probably start over again when I have completed them ALL! I am now moving on to Journey #4. Until tomorrow!
