Through the Word plans helps me stay on track with my Bible study. I look forward to my study time every morning and doing a plan with a friend keeps me accountable. Because of this app, we are able to go deeper in our faith together, even though we live 2500 miles apart. The Lent study and the subsequent Holy Week study have helped me celebrate the life in Christ I am able to live because of Jesus sacrifice for me. The Scriptures and the teachers put into words what I can’t. They bring clarity to help me know, and believe the word of God. Thank you, Kris and your team for the excellent Bible teaching, the ease of access to the plans, and mostly, you’re obedience to follow the call the Lord has placed on your heart. May you be richly blessed for it.

I have gone through the 40 days and Easter week with my brother in Christ and fellow College fraternity brother from the late 80’s It helped us in so many ways. We are both ministers and it has so encouraged us.

TTW has illuminated the Word of God to a level that my words cannot express properly. No matter what plan l follow. I come out knowing and drawing closer to my God, my Jesus and my Helper the Holy Spirit.

It was a very thought provoking week. I loved how you tied in Old Testament prophesies with the footsteps of Jesus during this week. He is risen indeed!

I have been so touched by this my eyes has been open and I see things differently now and I’m glad I feel closer to my father and I want to tell the world more about you. Keep up the good work love it love it! Love it!

I decided to do Holy Week guide with my neighbour who has recently become a Christian. Because this was her first Easter as a believer, I thought it would be beneficial to do a study guide together about Jesus’ death and resurrection. It has been so great. We’ve enjoyed the voice recordings to share our progress. It has kept us focussed on the whole events surrounding this important time. Thanks through the word - I’ve been listening for a few years now and I’m glad to pass it on to others as well.

I appreciate the brief introductions to each day's reading and explanations. They provide valuable context and help set expectations for tackling the chapter. The one-chapter-per-day approach is also great. Thank you, and may God bless your team.😃🙏

My wife and I decided to do the lent series together. We have grown together both spiritually and in His word. This app has been and continues to be an experience in helping bring the word alive on so many different levels and we want to thank the whole team at TTW for all they do in making this app what it is. I have learned much about the meaning of different words used in the scriptures. Also of the way things were back in the Bible days that we just studied together in Holy Week. I believe and have faith that my understanding is being enlightened and my personal relationship with God through our lord Jesus grows stronger. I’m eager to learn more and more and grow closer and closer until I too pass from this world into heaven!

Thank you for carrying forth TTW. I love the commentaries before each chapter and can’t imagine the Holy Spirit led work that was involved. It helps to get an explanation before reading a chapter, especially when studying Revelation. Thank you!

TTW plans such as 2 Kings, are very good in providing insight & understanding of scripture. Well done is an appropriate descriptor of these plans.

I have a gained a deeper understanding of Scripture through this app. There are parts of the Bible that have become clearer to me. I see this as a great Bible study tool. God has taught me to be still and listen to what he has to say. In the busy world we live in, we need to slow down and ask God for him to guide us through today.

The journey through Collosians really illuminated that it really is and should really be all about Jesus who is truly awesome.

Good evening, I have been having struggles about my personal life lately. And somehow, I felt led to study the book of Job. Hmm, I got my answer in the last chapter. I gained a deeper understanding of how it was for Jesus and all people during this time. Peyton offered insight that just reading myself could not. When building your story about your walk with the Lord, it’s important to build on the Cornerstone the foundation of Christ. This plan helped me add another Stone of Faith by those you lived before us. Faith build their families from generation to generation.

Reading the Bible through TTW has made God's word to be more present and interesting. I recommended it to family and friends and some are using it already and I can see them growing in their faith.

Over this past year I have seen God truly transform my life and open me up to so many things I never thought possible. I have lead a church that we planted in Mississippi now for 10 years. I started a journey to become a trainer and nutrition coach as well as launching a faith based fitness coaching platform that brings together the true encapsulation of the whole gospel. Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love the Lord your God with all your heart (center of humanity), soul (Spirit), mind (mental/emotional), strength (physical) and the second is like this: to love your neighbor as yourself. This thought lead me to begin looking at the Temple and I soon realized that this world and its ways is slowly destroying the Temple and believes have stood by and remained silent allowing what is to define their reality. As I searched the Scriptures I discovered there is so much wisdom and knowledge in how we are supposed to maintain the Temple throughout. So much so that I wrote a book called Reclaiming the Temple that was published earlier this year. The content that you guys provide has been a huge part in that journey as I sit morning by morning reading, meditating and taking in the insights that are provided here. Our journeys are forever interwoven and as I continue on this journey to help people awaken to the reality that they are not spiritually well if they can’t captivate thought according to the word and can’t control physical craving according to the word then they are not as spiritually well as they think. I simply say thank You for walking the path God set before You and pray You continue to find success in following His will.

The “Bonus” teaching for Psalms 22 is filled with information I have never heard before during my 65 years as a Christian! The ways it ties the symbolism together throughout the Word is amazing and demonstrates the fact that the Word is completely inspired by God and true for all of us! Praise the Lord for His sovereignty over and saving love for us!

I’ve been using TTW for several years now for one of my daily devotions. I love the mini sermons and how they better explain the chapter I’m about to read. Thank you for all you do!

Reading lamentations of Jeremiah has been prompted by Holy Week and the Passion of Christ. It has been helpful in creating fresh insites during this time of suffering in the world to find more of the purpose of God in it all and find the positive benefits presented herein.

I have always wanted to read the Bible but when I start I got discouraged and stopped. The words were to big, the stories didn’t make sense! Now that I have been doing this it has helped me understand what Jesus did for me!! Thank you so much

The statement that “Jesus’ death brings forgiveness and His resurrection brings life” is truly profound. The TTW Holy Week series has been an immense blessing for someone like me who is often on the road, serving refugees across Africa. Listening to the Word and commentary on this app is one of the best ways I stay spiritually replenished. It also inspires me to share Bible exposition with my family and to have gospel-centered conversations around the dinner table. In my 45 years, Holy Week has never been so meaningful—looking back into the Old Testament, connecting the dots along the biblical timeline, and relating it to the life of Jesus has brought fresh depth to my faith.

I’ve been listening to TTW for several years. While listening to Pastor Kris this morning of Holy Week, it FINALLY dawned on me all of the prophecy about Jesus that was written in the Old Testament, especially in the Psalms! Back when I actually read the Bible cover to cover, I thought the Psalms were so boring and dry! I get it now! Thank you!

I have love your studies. The way you go over each chapter helps dig deeper into the scriptures, and gives me more insight on God’s word. I haven’t had one specific plan, but this new series Journey is great. I have completed 3 of them. I share your app with my friends and tell them about you. I use your Journey series on “Your Version “ bible app. But also have your app on my phone.

TTW has helped me in my journey to get back to the written word and strengthen my faith in the Lord and our teachings. It has helped give my journey through lent a purpose and given me a positive touchstone for the Easter season.

TTW has led me to FAITH!! Pastor Kris’ “Start” on YouVerse gave me the push and today I just finished Journey 3!! Woot woot! That’s 1, 2, and 3 I’ve completed, as well as Start. The super amazing thing that it led me to is baptism. I found a home church and was baptized on Nov. 12, 23!!! DOUBLE WOOT WOOT!!! :) What I thought was extra special about my “Journey,” is I had Daniel 12 still to finish the morning of my baptism. The Holy Spirit wanted me to finish it BEFORE I was baptized. That’s what I believe anyway, because I kept being pulled that morning to do it before service and so I did. Then after service…BOOM! Romans! The book to tell me HOW to live out my faith. Daniel told me past, present, and future and Romans leads my way. Well, I’m probably not explaining this right but hopefully you get the idea and I didn’t lose ya altogether. :) Anywhooo, I’m so grateful to the Lord for leading me to TTW and for Pastor Kris and everyone else involved. Through the word has been a great resource for me. I reached out to a friend and did the lent journey with her and that was amazing because she has moved away and we are working on maintaining our relationship long distance. This was a wonderful connection and fellowship together. We also used through the word for our weekly Bible study and I just can’t tell you how good it is to sit around the table and open up our Bibles. We have been in multiple other studies where the Bible really got opened. Thanks so much for all you do!

Are you genuinely under the impression that Catholics exclusively observe Lent? To my astonishment, I am profoundly grateful that the Lord has allowed me to comprehend the profound meaning of Lent, which I discovered after overhearing some clients discussing it. I embarked on a research journey and came across this app, which has opened a new chapter in my spiritual journey. Through my walk with the Lord, I feel that I have grown closer. My understanding has deepened, and I recognize the vastness of what I still need to learn. However, the most significant aspect has been my profound love and devotion to God. The way TTW presents the teachings & using audio makes me excited to really get more involved with the whole BIBLE. With TTW I have a better understanding. This is my fourth time to experience the whole Bible. But with better understanding.

I just wanna say that I finished holy week early because of some events that’s going on at my local church this week. But I have enjoyed this app and this particular study so much. I’m grateful for your organization your knowledge all of your staff the commitment and the love they have Jesus Christ. Every time I listen, I learn and grow and wanna learn more and the presentation of the Bible has been just amazing. 40 day lent journey was helpful in not only diving deeper into Jesus but also into Jewish tradition of utilizing the psalms for Songs of ascent. Thank you for these innovative teaching plans!

I have absolutely loved the journey through Lent walking alongside the Through The Word team. If I had to pick out one thing that really stuck out to me it would be from Psalm 22:6, about the Scarlet worm. I had never heard that story, and I love the comparison to Jesus on the cross. I’ve been participated in the TTW daily Bible studies and journeys for the past two years it has profoundly changed my everyday life! Praise God🙏

TTW format of 10 minute segments has been perfect to train me into accepting a daily habit of studying the Bible. I now look forward to beginning each day with a new lesson about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and Life on Planet Earth. The TTW plans challenge me in my walk with the Lord. I want to draw closer to the Lord but keep failing and just listening to TTW is what I need at this point. I realise that it is not just the knowledge of the word but putting it into practice and being willing to pay the price to draw closer to Him. I am grateful for the Teachers,how they sound so joyful and passionate about the Lord and yet still bring humour and laughter, speaking with freedom and love for the Lord They are genuine in their love and passion for the Lord while just getting on with everyday life and being frank about the challenges they face, but making it about Jesus and not about themselves. I want that to be the reality in my walk with the Lord. The Lent plan which we have just completed was a good one to refocus on what Jesus did especially looking at Psalm 22, going through John with fresh spectacles. I am also going through the New Testament and again just appreciate the fresh look at the word and the importance of being a doer of the word and not heater only. The Lent Plan was truly an eye-opener. I’ve read the Book of John before, but going through the “Lent Journey Together” with my friends was a completely different experience—an amazing one. There were verses that stood out in a fresh way, some I don’t even remember noticing before. Peyton and Chris’s insights as they guided us through John and Psalms brought Jesus to life through John's perspective. But the most beautiful part of the journey was watching the light of Christ shine in my friends' hearts as He revealed Himself to them through Scripture. What a wonderful God we serve. Beginning Lent on March 5 by reading a chapter from the Bible each day has had a spiritually profound impact on my walk with Jesus. The Through The Word Plan has drawn me closer to Him, deepening my faith, opening my heart to His Word, and helping me see and feel His presence in new and personal ways. This was the first TTW journey my husband and I did together. It was really effective for our opposite schedules and helped me avoid the hounding nature of my wife-ness, which I have often defaulted to when trying to stay connected spiritually. “Together” is perfect for my late night husband and his early bird wife. Great study of scripture of book of John, also Psalms. I enjoyed John the most, and his message leaves me so thankful that Jesus is my personal Lord and Savior. Highly recommended this study to others.

This study has been special because I have shared it with my sister and we have never done a Bible study together because we’ve always just been too far away from each other. So it’s been special that way, but it’s also been special as well as long as I’ve been a believer, I never actually took to the time to set aside for lent. I never chose to take this time to focus on Christ and what he has done in my life. I’m very thankful for the study and I’m going to do more in the future with my sister beginning with the holy week study. Thank you for your faithfulness

I was first introduced to TTW on the YouVersion Bible app. I would search for plans just to increase my Bible knowledge and get closer to God. Then a friend told me about TTW app and I have been listening ever since. I have a local church that I attend in person and online but somehow the sermons were falling short. My inner self was wanting to know more than I was receiving. TTW has given me what I was seeking. My Bible knowledge has increased and I feel a much deeper and have a closer connection to our God. I have also been doing the Lent Journey for which I did not know much about Lent. It has increased my knowledge of giving up material things that get in the way of being close to our God and it has definitely brought me closer to God. I have shared TTW with family and friends hoping to feed them God's Word and explained to them how this app has helped me. Thank you for all you do and may God continue to bless your ministry 🙏

I’ve been a user of TTW for several years and find great value in it for my study of the word. However in November I heard the “ad” to invite friends to study Luke for Christmas. I took a deep breath, prayed & invited 2 dear friends to study it with me who know of Christ but are not believers. That study lead to a study of Revelations, Genesis, Zachariah & we start the study for Holy Week tomorrow! In addition they have agreed to go through Acts & Romans when Holy Week is concluded. An interesting side note on Gods providence over time, my study in Romans ended just when Luke started & all those studies we did together lined up perfectly to start Holy Week, just finished Zechariah today!

I've always struggled to do my devotions on my own. This study that I am doing with my friends has helped me stay accountable and reflect as a group on what we are learning. This will be where I continue to do my devotions from.

It opened my mind and my heart to understand and hold dear what Jesus our Lord was going through these 40 days before his sacrifice for us. I will return many times to these 40 days to restore my heart for how Jesus walks with me every day. Thank you for sharing
