I have been richly blessed by this plan. The application is very helpful to me. The historical explanation help my understanding. I learned new truth about the book of Act. I am challenged to continue the book Act with my life's story, good work and the proclamation of the Gospel to the world beginning from where I am. Thanks for being a blessing to our World.

We learned a lot about not asking why something happens but to ask who. That came to a lot. A lorry of interesting things said about dinosaurs, the serpent having legs before it was cursed but God. The talk about dragons. They're was so much in this plan

Through The Word is very inspirational! I am learning so much about the Bible through Pastor Langhams teachings and those of the other Pastors that have taught other Scriptures! I will continue to read TTW until I have read the entire Bible with Pastor Langham and whoever else is teaching and I encourage others to do so also!

The plan I just finished on Galatians helped me to identify through the Holy Spirit those areas I have been trying to follow law instead of embracing grace. It has helped me to see the freedom I have in Christ as an adventure of good things I get to do out of gratitude for my salvation, by Christs strength and power instead of a list of have to's and can't do's.

I was so excited when the announcement came about “Science and the Bible”! Although I was committed to continuing my cover to cover re-reading of the Bible with TTW, I couldn’t wait to start the science study. My life-long searching for the deeper truths about existence took me to a variety of different teachers, belief systems, new-age philosophies, and always science. I tried to weave together my own best guesses about how spiritual and natural evidence coexisted and made some kind of sense. Around 2016 when my dad was nearing his life’s end, I found myself listening to Dr. Charles Stanley on the long daily drives to be with Dad. That one radio station came in loud & clear on the dark Pine Barrens road where reception was poor! Then around that same time my youngest brother Dave, a special needs individual who himself was fearlessly fighting cancer, invited me to his biblical church. Part of me was curious to see why this place was so special to Dave—maybe he was on to something like I was hearing in the radio programs. My skeptical side thought, “oh boy, a bunch of well meaning Jesus freaks are gonna see me as their next project and try to ‘save’ me. I tried that in high school, nothing happened.” However… Dave WAS on to something! His pastor was a funny, kind, humble presenter, and brought such life and context to the ancient Bible chapters he discussed. The music was heart touching! I started going every week, opened my heart to Jesus, and was inspired to try reading the Bible on my own. (That had done nothing but horrify me when I’d tried in the past…this was surely not the same Bible that my Christian Scientist grandmother had joyfully quoted from in my childhood, was it?!) This time I read with a group of fellow baby Christians. We questioned and studied and got through it! I read it two more times and each reading brought with it more a-ha! connections and respect for it. I joined a WONDERFUL local church that filled in more gaps and started daily studies on the YouVersion app. That’s where I discovered Through the Word! I did the Revelation plan with a group and went nuts searching for more from TTW! Found the app and couldn’t WAIT to read the Bible again with the audio guides. My very science-oriented husband (sadly, he’d been scarred by religion in his youth) wasn’t pleased that I’d jumped ship from being a skeptic about Christianity and religion to now embracing Jesus and excitedly studying the Bible. I’ve gently and with love tried to simply show him what real truth is and how it impacts daily living—no trying to deliver authoritative Bible “knowledge”. Still, I’ve been praying for solid answers that respect both science and faith to share with him. Science and the Bible has opened new doors for this, not to mention addressing my own lingering questions. Chris, my heart is with yours and your beautiful family’s as you navigate your daughter’s recovery after the shock of that cancer diagnosis. Maybe by now all is well, that is my prayer. But no matter what, we’re in this beautiful, challenging world together, and most importantly will be in simply a beautiful, safe, perfect world in eternity. Thank you thank you thank you to Through the Word for how far reaching your ministry is in my life and countless others’ lives!!! God works through you all so powerfully, in such a perfect way for the times we’re in. God bless you all!

Wow! I am blown away! I had heard certain scriptures from the book of Job but was very curious to read the whole book myself. With the help of Pastor Sandy Adams’ insight I have walked away humbled with the overwhelming power of God and how much He loves us despite our iniquities. Thank you TTW for providing an explanation to this book which might have otherwise been confusing to navigate on our own. I listened to many of the sermons several times and felt compelled to take notes. I’m sure it will not be the last time I listen to this plan. It stands as an amazing and true reminder of God’s majesty and mercy.

Nehemiah’s faith and courage reminds me that leadership begins with a heart surrender to God. As a new leader, I am encouraged to rely fully on God’s grace and guidance. Not by my strength but by the Spirit working within me.

TTW has helped me realize that it is all about Jesus. Very specifically, Jesus Christ is God in the human body. It just never captured me in that way before. I haven't shared with friends but I will do. The experience is just life changing to keep to myself.

We started listening to the daily New Testament in a year through our Bible app. We’ve learned so much from Chris and Peyton since we started at the beginning of this year. We look forward to listening everyday. We appreciate how they make the Bible easy to understand and I personally (Cori) have grown as a Christian since I’ve started listening. I’ve been a born again believer since I was 12 years old and I’m 52. I feel like I’ve learned so much that I never really understood before since starting this daily devotional. Thank you for your passion and for sharing your desire to know and understand God’s word with so many!!! Dave and I have also started the marriage sessions as well. Can’t wait to finish this New Testament program and move on to the Old Testament. Thank you again for sticking with your call to share God’s word with others.

It has helped me set my morning routine as a truck driver and i've been sharing the app with a lot of other drivers out here on the road. Wanting to get onto the next journey, but after journey, three doesn't open up any further studies. Thank you for being led to start this ministry

When I read anything, including Scripture, I tend to read fast. Hearing the Bible passages explained as they are read aloud makes them “come alive” for me. This method of reading is exactly what I need. Thank you!

Thank you, Pastor Kris, for such amazing teaching of the Word. I’ve been a Christian since 1989, and have always enjoyed reading the Bible. Understanding it, though, can be—and has been—very confusing at times. My favourite part of the day is starting each morning with the Lord, wanting to know more about who He is, His plan for my life, and to understand more about the Bible. I stumbled upon TTW Journey #1 and shared it with a friend. Loved it and couldn’t get enough of it. I’ve really enjoyed learning new things—like the similarities between Joseph and Jesus. I don’t remember ever hearing about that in church. Today, I finished Journey #3. Can’t wait to start #4 tomorrow, and Journey through Ecclesiastes in July. Thank you for the amazing lessons I may have never have learned otherwise. You make learning fun with jokes and puns, and explain things with details that make it easy to grasp and retain. I love the story of Jonah because it teaches me that sometimes God calls us to go out of our comfort zone to help, love or give hard truth to someone that we don't deserves it or that is hard for us to love. I love this so much that I believe. I will listen to it again. This has been very, very fruitful!

I thought that this one about Faith was truly wonderful! How often have I read Hebrews 11 about faith! Yet the insights and deeper understanding in TTW was profound, deep and so very moving. Their testimonies in “the hall of fame” took on so much more meaning for me and yes more modern others like Richard Wormbrund (whom I have read before) was such a moving story in seeing how God continues working in and through lives of the faithful. I pray to be such a faithful one!!!

TTW profoundly touched my life in many ways. It has brought understanding to the Bible scriptures. With this understanding, I have gained tranquility and confidence in interacting with friends and family. Which has increased my interaction with all I come in contact in my daily life. My stress levels have decreased and my happiness has increased! Your app has helped me to deal with the grief of losing my parents and has gotten me back into church. At a time when I needed the comfort of God’s word the most, I withdrew mainly because of exhaustion and depression. However, by consistently listening to God’s word during my daily commute, I slowly realized that God wasn’t punishing me but was carrying me through one of the most difficult times in my life. Thank you for this app, and most of all, the God for His grace and love.

Just a quick thanks to TTW. I've never been very good at sticking with a reading/learning Bible plan. TTW has changed all that. I came across TTW by accident, although, most likely it was God's hand. I completed Easter plan (John and Psalms) and I absolutely loved it. Thank you Payton Jones for being so clear in your message and funny at the same time. I laughed a lot and cried as well.. Then I moved on to other Books in the Bible. Recently I had some difficult time with my husband and as I felt very down and fed up I listened to one of the podcasts on Romans. Again, not quite intentionally, sort of happened. But that particular chapter was exactly what I needed to hear. It was as if Kris Langham was saying it all just to me...as if every word was going directly to my heart. I felt immediate healing! That's it, I was healed there and then. And not only me, I think there was a healing of the whole situation as well. Thank you every one involved in TTW, you bring God's Word, Good News, Hope, Promise and Healing, you guys are amazing. Thank you so much! Anna

This is my 4th time going through the whole Bible. The way TTW explains each chapter then listening to each verse gives me a better understanding of each chapter. I look forward every day for each chapter.

Every year I try something new to do. Recent years its been kick boxing, dance lessons, exercise focus, etc. Well in 2024 I had to separate myself from my 6 1/2 year relationship. In the beginning, my life crumbled. So the very next week I decided to go to church. One I can walk too. It was so emotional, I changed to online viewing because I couldn't stop crying especially hearing the sermons. So at thanksgiving my dad. A true dad who loves me and the lord, said..its time to go back to in person church. This will heal you in many ways. I did. Well I didnt know this church had a tradition at end of the year to pass around stars and you pick blindly and on these stars are a word that you should try to incorporate in your life. Mine was zeal. I was kinda bummed at first because im the most zealous person in life. Coworker call me tenacious T or Tina. So I was a but let down. Well the new year comes and im sad still. I wauted 8 years to date someone serious after an abusive marriage of 17 years so id be somewhat healed. So im sad cant think of anything new to try this year. And suddenly I see on Facebook my coworkers wife that I just think so much of her, asked would anyone like to do a Bible study of the book of revelations? Suddenly I knew that was my thing thus year. Ive never done Bible study past my grandparents and dad had me attend until graduation. Ive always said I wanted to read the Bible so I joined. Wow, your app has me so excited about learning everything i can. My dad said wow what a chapter to start with, but it was exactly what I needed. I have been zealous ever since in reading the Bible. Reading the chapters that the church is focusing on. Getting excited and finishing early and picking a shirt chapter to hear before the next big one. I share with my friends and family. Tell everyone how much I learn and crave to hear more. And the gentleman that reads the Bible passages after...wow that is the perfect voice!! I just finished romans but my pastor will preach all summer about it. Hehe ill look to add a second to listen to. I like to listen during my walks like people do with podcasts. Im sure this will have a ton of misspelled word as im using my cell phone. I just wanted to say thank you. This and church has really pulled me out of a funk and im zealous for what feels like the first time about reading the Bible.

TTW has helped me to feel like I have a community of believers even when I don’t feel belonging with the people in close proximity to me. My sister, who I don’t get to see much in person due to distance, invited me to join a study with a few of her friends. It has been amazing to read through the Bible WITH other people. Sharing our insights, learning and questions is so powerful. Especially reading through Acts, it felt like the Holy Spirit ignited a fresh passion in each of our personal lives to serve others and be more bold talking about our faith. TTW became a platform to share impactful stories from our week or struggles we were experiencing, all while diving into God’s word. I have now started my own study group with some friends from my church. Definitely a great way to build community!! Big thanks to the TTW team!

Awesome series. However, I thought the idea that science and Christianity are not really at odds was overly simplistic. I hear on a regular basis Christians that read the Bible literally to claim that the earth and universe is only several thousands of years old, evolution should not be taught in school (e.g., Scopes monkey trial), Christians should not go to the doctor or be vaccinated, etc. I think Kris should address this very conflict between science and Christianity.

With TTW (and the Holy Spirit of course), the book of Philippians reminded me of who I am in Christ and has me in regaining my focus on Jesus again As always, a big shout out of thanks to TTW🎉

TTW opens up scripture in ways I’ve not seen before & helps further understand It & what God uses it for in such descriptions of genealogies, family lines & why they’re more important than what they seem initially. Thanks so much for doing this as it’s greatly appreciated. PTL!!

I moved to Catalina Island about three months ago to work at a Christian camp for the year. I came here hoping it would be a season of renewal and growth, but I quickly found myself feeling lost and lacking direction. A friend recommended the TTW app to me, and it’s completely changed the way I spend time in the Word. It’s brought structure and purpose to my quiet time each morning and helped me reconnect with Scripture in a meaningful way. I especially appreciate how the app draws out truth from each chapter without overwhelming it with personal opinions. I’m so grateful for this resource, keep doing what you’re doing!

I loved this study through Acts. It renewed my courage to follow Christ no matter the cost, circumstances, or outcomes. I was reminded that when life gets difficult it doesn’t mean that I’ve made a bad decision; suffering is a part of life and I should expect to suffer as a Christian. I was also encouraged by how God shows up for His people, encouraging them along the way when they become frightened or discouraged. It is truly great to be a follower of Christ.

The book of Mark has really helped me in growing my Faith to Jesus.And to tell other people my testimony on how Jesus has had the greatest impact in changing my life.🙏🙏🙏🙏

Throughout my walk with Jesus, I have been fascinated with Revelation, Daniel, & Ezekiel. I really enjoyed & pondered what Pastor Kris talked about in this Journey. I loved listening to the Book of Job with Sandy Adams. It is such an amazing book and I learned a lot. The way Sandy explained it was awesome and sometimes funny and sometimes very emotional. I found myself reflecting on the ways I go about my life, or the way I treat God. It has impacted my life and Journey with the Lord. Also, idk why but hearing Sandy’s Southern accent just motivates me and engages me every morning and every afternoon when its time to get into the word. Oh my gosh! I was looking for a way to let you know how much I LOVE this series, when you mentioned the "share your story". I love everything about this and wish it was a year long! Then Pastor Kris shared about his sweet baby girl and I'm crying. I, along with so many others, know from first hand experience. While people around me have given the unsolicited easy answers, I've had to quietly endure the pain of not knowing, while leaning on a God who my child belonged to before he belonged to me. I'm praying for the peace of God to carry your family through this and for healing and good news. God bless you all. Thank you for the bringing the knowledge of God to the world.

Had a very sweet time going through this study with a friend. Loved the ability to share back and forth as I was traveling.

I have been going over the book of Psalms and from the first chapter of the book of Psalms I have been a bit uncomfortable and the reason for me being uncomfortable is the mention of the wicked. Let me explain. I have being going on a bible journey with through the word from Genesis and each chapter and verse I mediate on it and those that sound like a prayer I recited them and pray them in my heart. A summary of what a “Wicked person” is and to summarize it is someone who disobeys God’s law and when I look at myself and my life I constantly do that. I constantly disobey, leaning on my own understanding, thinking I know better than God and always fall flat on my face, so when chapter 1 talks about the consequences the wicked face I was like wow and terrified and then chapter 8,9 and 10 David is asking God to arise and judge the wicked and protect the righteous one, I avoid reciting and praying them because I am afraid that I am just raining curses and asking God to punish me because I disobey God’s law and by definition I am wicked. So one day I was listening to Psalm 10, in this chapter, David is asking God why does the wicked prosper and asking if God is going to do anything about it and again because of the Guilt of being Wicked in God’s eye, I almost skipped this chapter after listening to a few verses but I pushed through and listened to it all, and after I was done a thought from within, which I think is from the Holy Spirit came to me and it just says why do you think you are wicked and in my mind I responded because I constantly sin and not righteous and again in my mind a second thought came but it is not your righteous it is Jesus’s righteous. And at first I did not get it, but I mediated on that thought and it finally registered. I cannot earn my righteous, my righteous is not based on myself or my work, my righteous is based on Jesus and as long as Jesus is righteous, so am I and that is a gift he has freely given to me, so that Guilt of being called “Wicked” I should not feel it, because my righteous is certified in Jesus. What a relief this has made since I came to this conclusion.

Again Peyton brings great insight into this remarkable book. Although I have read Acts multiple times, this was by far the most in depth and meaningful.

I’ve been using this for one year New Testament, and have enjoyed the pace of daily reading. This has helped me grow in my understanding and love of Christ. I also used the 2 Timothy plan to help me prepare for teaching two weeks at camp this summer.

TTW study of ACTS has helped me to understand that I must trust God to see me and my family through. He will bless and be merciful.🙏

Very interesting and informative series on Faith and Science! Praying for Kris and his family as his daughter is facing cancer! But thousands will be praying! Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you all with peace and joy as you trust in Jesus in and through the power of the Holy Spirit! We battle in this fight together as a family! As Kris would say "faith is a fight " ! I love you all !

I always felt like Paul was kinda suicidal...compensating for his past life...listening through this plan I have found myself pray like this, ' God I thank you for Jesus and I thank you for Paul. ' Am also challenged to stay true to what I believe in, in Christ that is, even if it means to die for it. Am also challenged to share my faith consistently. I have shared about this app and also what am learning in my Bible study groups.

This plan has shown me my weaknesses and struggles in obeying God's ways for my life. The Israelites whose relatives were delivered from slavery with such amazing miracles still disobeyed God even though they promised Moses that they would obey. I have learnt that Satan is indeed at war for our souls so I have resolved to stay in the Word daily to help me keep fighting and to follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thank you for the plan.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to read and understand Revelations so much more. Not only did I finished reading Revelations but I stopped at one point to read the book of Daniel. As a christian I was familiar with the book of Daniel but going back to read it as Pastor Kris suggested gave me a new perspective and understanding I never experienced before today. I decided to read Revelations again 1. because Pastor Kris explains it so well but also he does not claim to know everything And 2. because a deeper understanding of God’s word gives me a sense of belonging and acceptance from God. the expectation that one day we, all of us believers, will dwell together with God. gives me a sense of peace, the perfect picture of home just like Pastor defined it.

Thank you. Walking through Acts with TTW has strengthened my faith and improved my understanding of Paul and his impact and made me see the awesome power of Christianity. It is amazing that in this time and in this place I get to carry on the work of Paul in some small way.

I learnt that Grace brings freedom but law condemns me, it is only in Jesus I can experience true freedom. I should yield more to the spirit of God in me than to my flesh. I should also change my cravings and desires to desiring and craving for the things that pleases God.

I greatly appreciate the timing of the Science and the Bible study. I'm sharing the Word of God and my faith, after coming to the Lord, with my boyfriend who is unfamiliar with His Saviour. He is the type of man needs proof to believe in anything and I have been crying out to God for a way to maintain my peace and patience, while also leading him to the Light of Jesus' love. I hope I'm not passing my place here when I say: I especially appreciate the timing of Kris' difficulties, though not thrilled about them. But as I was listening to day 7 and 8, I came to realize, the best teachers are students who deeply understand what they are revealing to others. At the end of the study Kris, you may come to find the exact answer God has in store for you and your personal seeking. May God continue to smile down at you and your dear ones.
