I am a widow, but had a broken marriage . I am using my experience to desciple those struggling in the marriage and those planning to marry. I discovered the my problem was as a result no training or no information about marriage. So promised not let my children experience the same and indeed people around me especially in my church. I was happy to stumble accross this app. I am really grateful to God for this tool. Hos 4: 6 says " My people perish because of lack of knowledge " ignorance kills. So we need to war against it.

Deuteronomy opens us into the last few days of Moses on the earth and how he prepared Israelites and his successor to cross into the Promise land. What a blessing to know we inherit the promised land not by flesh and law but by following Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit

I just love TTW. Every night after my nighttime prayers, I listen and meditate. Thank God that we have pastors who explain. After the explanation, I go to my French bible and read the chapter that was just explained. I find it so much easier to understand. I was introduced and encouraged to read the Bible everyday by my son who passed away 2years ago. He had a life of suffering,,,cancers and side effects of the treatments. But he renewed his faith and really gave his life to God. He inspired so many people. He really inspired his brother and me. We are reading the Bible everyday and love it. If at times I did not understand, I would turn to him and he would explain. At one time I said: « how I’d love to take away your pain and suffering ». He looked at me and said: «  Mom, the suffering of this earth is nothing compared to the glory we will have in heaven ». Thank you all for making reading and understanding the Bible better TTW. This is my second text. The app wigged out and I lost it all. I’ll try to paraphrase what was a long text! Maybe that’s better anyway. I was baptized three weeks ago because this Journey encouraged that. What’s so big is I was leaning toward atheism, then I was an agnostic, but now a believer. Your work in interrupting the individual chapters has made a significant difference in my life. Now I tell everyone I can about this app. I can tell others who are unbelievers and believers easily about this app because I’ve been both! I’m still a believer off course now. Anyway, thank you for your work. I and my husband so appreciate what you are doing!

TTW has helped me return to the Bible - The one and only guide to life. I greatly appreciate the audio! Listening to the reading and summary was very helpful. The funny thing is that I would doze off for a few minutes to the narrator. When I work back up I was at peace.

I really love the simplicity in which pastor Kris share God's word. I am also appreciative at the clear reading of God's word to me by the readers. I really appreciate the way these studies have shown me some new ways and reinforced some ways I have looked at these books. Shows how even when we take Gods plan and try to do it our way. Doesn’t work smooth for us yet God makes good from it. Seeing how working with Gods plan through prayer and faith even the hardest and difficult times knowing God is with you can see His plan at work and lead His people to prosperity not just earthly but most importantly spiritually. We saw how we should be as individuals and as a church. In all have faith in the truth,be humble to others yet stay strong and help those who stray with kindness. We all are important to the spreading of His word. May we all be set a fire to spread His word. Peace

My friend and I are getting to know the Lord more intimately through your study guides. We are in different countries but every day we are in the Word together and it’s grown our friendship as well. TTW has a great impact on how I study the word of God. It helps me understand if I don't and it guides me when I need guiding. I'm new in my walk so I'm like a sponge; I take it all in and then slowly, cuz I'm old, process it. I started my walk in 2012 after my parents died. They both were not church goers. My mom pulled us from the Morman church and I didn't realize I knew something about the Bible because of her, until I joined a church in Alaska. The Ten Commandments came to me, and I knew then she actually believed that there is a God. I thank the Lord everyday for saving me from that wretch I once was. He gave me a life that has changed me and helped me become a better person to all I meet. Thank you for helping me understand what my purpose is in this life, so that I can obtain eternal life with The Father the Son and Holy Spirit. God bless you 🙏

I started the Lent journey while I was in rehab, after 2 months of alcohol rehabilitation. I coud not afford to finish the program, and was working at the centre as a way to help me learn how to liv life sober. I had just found out that I was pregnant and was so dcared of the future and was clinging to TTW daily as a lifeboat so fear and anxiety would not overcome me. I tried to be consistent with the readings, but Iife happened. I am now 6.5 months pregnant. And I'm in awe of Gods provisions and His grace in this time. I've been jobless and never lacked. I've been conflicted about having an unplanned baby, but he has become my joy in these trying times. I am finishing up the Lent journey from a different place mentally, emotionally and spiritually. GOD HAS SHOWN HIMSELF TO ME, AND I am thankful. He loves me more than I know. I am stil broken, but I know I am not forsaken. The journey continues. Thank you. Learned alot more about how precious the 10 Commandments should be to all Christ believers regardless of what denomination they are

First of all I appreciate God for the grace given to you to do this work. Since I came across TTW, it has become like food to me. I will listen, listen and listen again, and each time God will open my understanding. I have just started plan 1 but have gone over it more than 5 times. Oh, my God, I love TTW. I Promise to share it with my people in Nigeria.

I am so blessed to have TTW in my phone, in my life. I learn more every time I listen to a chapter. I am so thankful that We can have Chris and Payton and all the others In our lives, men who are following after God and are using the gifts God has blessed them with to reach, teach, and spread understanding of God’s word. This Ministry is essential, it’s what I believe what God has called us to do, “ discipleship” That’s exactly what this app does, disciples us helps us to create a habit, the habit of Jesus, trusting in the father, knowing the father, knowing his character, and following that example and sharing it with others.

This study was a great reminder of a nation full of sin and pride and the downfall when God gets angry. This reminds me to have a respectful fear of God and to battle the sin in me with the conviction he gives me and to stay in the word. Thank you!

What a great book! What a fun and revealing study! My book of Hosea is now full of some of the best insights and notes from this study and I thank you for it. God’s character is all over this book but most especially in 11:7-9. God knows Israel needs to be judged (harshly), but it tears Him up emotionally to do so. What love!!!

TTW has helped me to be constantly organized in reading of my Bible one day at a time and to follow it up. Now I can't go a day without it TTW plan had touched my life to get to know more and follow through. TTW has been my own personal journey for now, hopefully later in future I can be comfortable in sharing with friends

This is a great way to stay in the Word, challenge family and friends to stay in the Word. Great commentary and teachings. I love it! What a blessing!

A family member had recommended through the word to me recently, as I was reading through the Bible for the first time. They mentioned it could be helpful if I needed any explanations. So I gave it a try and used it for a few chapters. After finishing the Bible, I decided to explore more on the app, and I found the course "Science and the Bible" by Kris And, which was really great! Thank you to the team at through the word!

Listening to Daniel has strengthened my faith and trust in God. It has also helped me have a better understanding of prophecy.

The results for His kingdom are immeasurable. I have completed 5 Journeys so far and am currently finishing Science & The Bible. (May the Lord bless your daughter and entire family, me not knowing the results of her health issues yet.) One aspect I would so love to hear you discuss in the Science Journey is how Science (I think) stops at Results or Conclusions of equations and tests and the equation of cause and effect do not change; yet with faith and with God, GRACE can change even the cause and effect. The Holy Spirit often intervenes with Grace, Mercy, Love, Compassion, even to the point of removing set consequences that are dictated by Science. I’d love to hear you discuss Grace within this study. Thank you for your passion and wisdom, Kris. I pray for you & have shared this app with several and will continue. The faith series on Hebrews chapter 11 was very meaningful for me. We’ve recently watched the movie “Sabina, Tortured for Christ”, so I had a bit more understanding about the Wurmbrand’s story. I do so appreciate Kris’s explanations, and time spent preparing these chapter insights. Our faith walk is so very important on our journey to eternal life with Christ, and mine is strengthened by my daily time with Through the Word. I like how the plan Science and the Bible engaged my mind and made me think. I enjoyed joining Kris on this journey. Too Chris's searching for answers and finding them both in God.

Through the Word app makes the study of the word really wonderful. I get to listen to a summary of the chapter and then listen with the option of reading along while the passage is read. The book of Ezra revealed the remarkable impact obedience to the word of God and commitment to service has. The people of Israel could rebuild due to the hand of God and the obedience of his faithful servants. It also highlights while it is important not to allow the wiles 9f the evil one while building.

I love TTW. It makes understanding the Bible so much easier with the narrators. I especially like that we can now do plans with friends through audio.

We learned a lot about not asking why something happens but to ask who. That came to a lot. A lorry of interesting things said about dinosaurs, the serpent having legs before it was cursed but God. The talk about dragons. They're was so much in this plan

Through The Word is very inspirational! I am learning so much about the Bible through Pastor Langhams teachings and those of the other Pastors that have taught other Scriptures! I will continue to read TTW until I have read the entire Bible with Pastor Langham and whoever else is teaching and I encourage others to do so also!

The plan I just finished on Galatians helped me to identify through the Holy Spirit those areas I have been trying to follow law instead of embracing grace. It has helped me to see the freedom I have in Christ as an adventure of good things I get to do out of gratitude for my salvation, by Christs strength and power instead of a list of have to's and can't do's.

I was so excited when the announcement came about “Science and the Bible”! Although I was committed to continuing my cover to cover re-reading of the Bible with TTW, I couldn’t wait to start the science study. My life-long searching for the deeper truths about existence took me to a variety of different teachers, belief systems, new-age philosophies, and always science. I tried to weave together my own best guesses about how spiritual and natural evidence coexisted and made some kind of sense. Around 2016 when my dad was nearing his life’s end, I found myself listening to Dr. Charles Stanley on the long daily drives to be with Dad. That one radio station came in loud & clear on the dark Pine Barrens road where reception was poor! Then around that same time my youngest brother Dave, a special needs individual who himself was fearlessly fighting cancer, invited me to his biblical church. Part of me was curious to see why this place was so special to Dave—maybe he was on to something like I was hearing in the radio programs. My skeptical side thought, “oh boy, a bunch of well meaning Jesus freaks are gonna see me as their next project and try to ‘save’ me. I tried that in high school, nothing happened.” However… Dave WAS on to something! His pastor was a funny, kind, humble presenter, and brought such life and context to the ancient Bible chapters he discussed. The music was heart touching! I started going every week, opened my heart to Jesus, and was inspired to try reading the Bible on my own. (That had done nothing but horrify me when I’d tried in the past…this was surely not the same Bible that my Christian Scientist grandmother had joyfully quoted from in my childhood, was it?!) This time I read with a group of fellow baby Christians. We questioned and studied and got through it! I read it two more times and each reading brought with it more a-ha! connections and respect for it. I joined a WONDERFUL local church that filled in more gaps and started daily studies on the YouVersion app. That’s where I discovered Through the Word! I did the Revelation plan with a group and went nuts searching for more from TTW! Found the app and couldn’t WAIT to read the Bible again with the audio guides. My very science-oriented husband (sadly, he’d been scarred by religion in his youth) wasn’t pleased that I’d jumped ship from being a skeptic about Christianity and religion to now embracing Jesus and excitedly studying the Bible. I’ve gently and with love tried to simply show him what real truth is and how it impacts daily living—no trying to deliver authoritative Bible “knowledge”. Still, I’ve been praying for solid answers that respect both science and faith to share with him. Science and the Bible has opened new doors for this, not to mention addressing my own lingering questions. Chris, my heart is with yours and your beautiful family’s as you navigate your daughter’s recovery after the shock of that cancer diagnosis. Maybe by now all is well, that is my prayer. But no matter what, we’re in this beautiful, challenging world together, and most importantly will be in simply a beautiful, safe, perfect world in eternity. Thank you thank you thank you to Through the Word for how far reaching your ministry is in my life and countless others’ lives!!! God works through you all so powerfully, in such a perfect way for the times we’re in. God bless you all!

TTW keeps me consistently studying God’s word and applying it to my life. I gain fresh perspectives through the various Bible studies and it’s easy to share with others.

Wow! I am blown away! I had heard certain scriptures from the book of Job but was very curious to read the whole book myself. With the help of Pastor Sandy Adams’ insight I have walked away humbled with the overwhelming power of God and how much He loves us despite our iniquities. Thank you TTW for providing an explanation to this book which might have otherwise been confusing to navigate on our own. I listened to many of the sermons several times and felt compelled to take notes. I’m sure it will not be the last time I listen to this plan. It stands as an amazing and true reminder of God’s majesty and mercy.

Nehemiah’s faith and courage reminds me that leadership begins with a heart surrender to God. As a new leader, I am encouraged to rely fully on God’s grace and guidance. Not by my strength but by the Spirit working within me.

TTW has helped me realize that it is all about Jesus. Very specifically, Jesus Christ is God in the human body. It just never captured me in that way before. I haven't shared with friends but I will do. The experience is just life changing to keep to myself.

We started listening to the daily New Testament in a year through our Bible app. We’ve learned so much from Chris and Peyton since we started at the beginning of this year. We look forward to listening everyday. We appreciate how they make the Bible easy to understand and I personally (Cori) have grown as a Christian since I’ve started listening. I’ve been a born again believer since I was 12 years old and I’m 52. I feel like I’ve learned so much that I never really understood before since starting this daily devotional. Thank you for your passion and for sharing your desire to know and understand God’s word with so many!!! Dave and I have also started the marriage sessions as well. Can’t wait to finish this New Testament program and move on to the Old Testament. Thank you again for sticking with your call to share God’s word with others.

It has helped me set my morning routine as a truck driver and i've been sharing the app with a lot of other drivers out here on the road. Wanting to get onto the next journey, but after journey, three doesn't open up any further studies. Thank you for being led to start this ministry

When I read anything, including Scripture, I tend to read fast. Hearing the Bible passages explained as they are read aloud makes them “come alive” for me. This method of reading is exactly what I need. Thank you!

Thank you, Pastor Kris, for such amazing teaching of the Word. I’ve been a Christian since 1989, and have always enjoyed reading the Bible. Understanding it, though, can be—and has been—very confusing at times. My favourite part of the day is starting each morning with the Lord, wanting to know more about who He is, His plan for my life, and to understand more about the Bible. I stumbled upon TTW Journey #1 and shared it with a friend. Loved it and couldn’t get enough of it. I’ve really enjoyed learning new things—like the similarities between Joseph and Jesus. I don’t remember ever hearing about that in church. Today, I finished Journey #3. Can’t wait to start #4 tomorrow, and Journey through Ecclesiastes in July. Thank you for the amazing lessons I may have never have learned otherwise. You make learning fun with jokes and puns, and explain things with details that make it easy to grasp and retain. I love the story of Jonah because it teaches me that sometimes God calls us to go out of our comfort zone to help, love or give hard truth to someone that we don't deserves it or that is hard for us to love. I love this so much that I believe. I will listen to it again. This has been very, very fruitful!

I thought that this one about Faith was truly wonderful! How often have I read Hebrews 11 about faith! Yet the insights and deeper understanding in TTW was profound, deep and so very moving. Their testimonies in “the hall of fame” took on so much more meaning for me and yes more modern others like Richard Wormbrund (whom I have read before) was such a moving story in seeing how God continues working in and through lives of the faithful. I pray to be such a faithful one!!!
