Really enjoyed the journey through Ecclesiastes. Solomon’s wisdom about the meaning of life has impacted how I view this earthly journey, the Bible teachings were relative and inspiring, and my small group was uplifting.

I officiate many funerals each year and mostly use Ecc. 3:1-8. This study deepened my understanding of the whole book and was very helpful for me. Thanks

Greetings to all in the Great and Wonderful Name of Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, Peace be with You All. For a long time I have been struggling with getting my life on the right track and everytime I tried to walk the Righteous path somehow I always end up losing my focus and concentration on staying on the Path... I have realized that my Faith was not as strong as I thought it was and everytime I wind up back to where I find myself asking why can't I stay on the Path??? Frustrating I know, yet I still Believe that all of these Fails I've encountered have a deeper meaning to it... Just needed the right Guide to understand what it is to Truly Walk with Christ. I honestly don't know why but I really want to walk this Path and be Confident in it. All the distractions I have faced have led me away from what was meant for me yet I still Believe that I have more to offer, all that's left is for me to stay on the Pathway of Righteousness and to stay Faithful and Focused on Jesus Christ... Please help me stay on this Journey 🙏🏽 Pray for Me please. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His Amazing & Wonderful Loving Arms, AMEN.

1. TTW has helped me improve on my personal Bible study. 2. The temptation package has been amazing. It has given me insights on how to be victorious against temptation.

I just completed the book of first John. One of the most profound things for me was in chapter 2. Kris clarified the difference between the old and the New Testament command to love God and neighbor. Thought difference was that in the New Testament, Jesus added the phrase: to love others as he loved us. That put a whole new perspective on that commitment for me! Also, in chapter 4, Kris explains how to identify false profits. That is a chapter that I will go back to over and over again. I’ve been a Christian for over 40 years. But in the last few years, I realized that I can’t identify these false prophets. Only Holy Spirit in me can overcome the evil spirit in the world. Looking back, I feel the need to confess that I was relying on myself. In chapter 5, I learned something I had never ever thought of. I learned that Jesus is God‘s testimony to us and all of that that means! Also, the significance of blood and water was clarified. It just cleared up so much for me. And then, at the Holy Spirit… God is so good! He never keeps anything important from us. He is so faithful and merciful. There’s more but that’s enough for now. Thank you TTW for the way you have blessed my heart.

I have tried multiple through the Bible plans, but always seem to get slogged down in the minor prophets and never make it through the Bible in a year. I still may not make it through the entire Bible in just one year, but I have just completed the entire New Testament with TTW. I loved the ability to listen to it as I walk or drive, repeat sections I want to hear again,, and slow down or speed up my progress through each book. Perhaps what stood out the most was the segment on Revelation. I have heard countless sermons and teachings on the book of revelation, but listening to it straight through in a compact time. Really helped me see the overall picture and message much better than getting bogged down in debate over what this or that represents or controversy over which timeline is best. I highly recommend the app to anyone.

Every morning I truly look forward to starting my day with our Father. I have gone through the New Testament and now I’m truly starting to understand the Old Testament. I love this app. It finally gives meaning to the Bible for my journey. I have read through the Bible on my own and was confused but as I am reading along with you I’m finally seeing what the Old Testament was and is.

TTW prepares me to study. I gain a general understanding of the book I will study before I begin reading it. TTW also provides a way for a devotion on those days I'm hurried. I rarely miss a day.

This study was very informative. Yet I do agree that every thing is vanity. Yes I am a senior but brought up in the church. Many dreams and aspirations I had were lost. Many desires to do Gods work thrown to the wind is reckless living. Yet now dreams have been rekindled and goals have become alive. Thank you for reminder after reminder. God bless and a second thought, that regardless of age and time, it is never to late to witness Gods Grace and His promises to others

I appreciate the explanatory comments then the reading. I’m not a Bible scholar and appreciate the understandable comments.

I enjoy TTW lessons. After each lesson I reflect on the lesson and this one prompted me to write my thoughts and opinions. Then I got moved to share my thoughts with you (LOL). It seems I came to the same conclusion as you did but I took a different path to get there. In 1Timothy 2:11 the question was asked was Paul being sexist or was that passage a sexist thought. That is from our perspective in these times. I didn't perceive the passage as sexist at first. My initial thought was different. Paul in his letter was telling Timothy about wrong things happening in the church at Ephesus. I thought maybe the women being new to this gathering, jumped in and was running their mouths trying to take control without having the knowledge and understanding of God. The first step in learning is to be quiet and submissive (yielding to the authority of another (the teacher)). In school when the teacher steps into the classroom and says "good morning class" everyone is to be quiet and submissive, so the teacher can teach, and you can learn. No sexist thoughts at all, from my first perspective, Paul was just helping Timothy understand the problem at hand. Education was needed to overcome false teachings. Paul had women preaching and teaching, Romans 16. I wanted to share my thoughts. Hope I'm using the right place.

The book Isaiah study has shown me a lot of things that I did not realize when listening or reading the Bible. TTW makes me want to continue learning the Bible and not get frustrated if I don't understand. Thank you TTW!!

TTW has helped me minister and be ministered to. God has gave me a heart to see people of God come out of the regular just church and getting to relationship with the Lord. Our grp has been going through the Word Together from revelation-Genesis. We are on ephasians. Ephasians has set the tone of all walks of family foundation and an urgency of living right and spreading the gospel where ever I go. My understanding of the Word has grown. And hearing other people's revelation of the Word helps too. Everytime a new book starts invites are sent. Now, I found out its a 20 people compactly. And I encouraged the people that didn't make it to start their own group for the book. I even got family members joining it. The Word is spreading and praise the Lord ya'll came up with this avenue to reach people. 🙌 including myself.

It has made me understand the bible and every verse I see God in a better light . I am a teacher I also share it with the students.

My wife stopped going to church, I introduced her to TTW and now she listens to it for a devotion. Sometimes we listen together.

TTW has helped me dig deeper and ask more meaningful questions. I have really enjoyed Science and the Bible journey and am looking forward to further studies. Are there any plans for a beginner and/or in depth study on apologetics? I would really enjoy a road map with ideas on how to converse with people who do not believe in God, in a calm, loving, non-confrontational way, that is founded in truth with examples, so I have some ready answers with scriptures to reference when the main questions arise.

I love Through the Word! I first learned of TTW in the YouVersion Bible app after subscribing to a reading plan. Little did I know that the narrator behind the story (Kris) would capture my imagination and would add so much more clarity to the passage (s) in the Bible—truly in a fun, creative and inspiring way. Excellent teaching Chris excellent I do often ask the Lord to keep the fire burning in me now with the age of 64 years old and looking back on the absolute foolishness things I've done some case absolutely disgusting things that I've done I have to remember that I've been forgiven of those things I pray to God to give you the strength to do the work that I do which is extremely laborious in the hot Florida Sun wears me down I had a vision of what I was hoping would turn out to be a job I can retire at and to bring 72 households to Christ sadly not one has. As I live through this season and try to learn some lessons I still earnestly pray that God opens the door or a window to where I could be more useful for his kingdom but I'll go on planting seeds until I no longer work there and there are many reasons why I still work there first and foremost I don't quit in the meantime I'm in college classes that will help me earn an associate's degree in ministry along with my wife she feels a calling to plant a church so I'm praying that at the end of the day when I get home from work though my body's exhausted I can dive into those classes so I can help being the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you again sir for helping me understand this book of Ecclesiastes at first I get a lot of sarcasm out of that book you help me see beyond those words thank you continue the awesome work you do you and your team thank you

Really enjoyed how Chris and Peyton make this book come alive with great teaching. Even the second part which can be very boring. Love the banter back and forth between the two. Having gone through the entire Bible via TTW, this would be my favorite combo. Wish more of the books were done with dual commentary. Thanks for all your hard work. I am a lover of God and his Word, but TTW brings even the “boring” parts alive!

Glory to God in the highest. I have been so blessed by the word of God through Pastor Chris using this app. I used to struggle with reading the Bible but listening to it and getting explanations with background history and practical life experiences is easy to understand. My family is so happy. I just finished the book of Revelation today and now I have a clear picture of events of the end of the world. I also have better understanding of God expectations for me. First of all, I have to admit that I’m not a reader. In fact, I’ve never finished a single book in my life, and I’ve never been particularly fond of reading especially when it comes to complex texts like the Bible. Even though I am a follower of Christ, I’ve struggled to find the motivation to engage with it. However, by the grace of God, I came across Pastor Chris's ads on my Facebook screen, and his message about dedicating 'just 10 minutes a day' really resonated with me. I believe that God is always finding ways to reach out to me and help me deepen my understanding of Him. I’m excited to share that I just finished Journey 1, and I learned so much along the way. Thank you, and may you receive more grace and blessings!

I have so loved this Chapter. I am going to listen to it again and share it with some of my non Christian friends knowing that I am not guaranteed that they will read it. Maybe just in a moment of reflection, maybe desperation, that life is not what they thought it would be or should be, settle in give it a read. I found it a very easy read, truly enjoyed it. I have learned a lot from Through The Word's Journey 1 and Journey 2 Series. The way Kris Langham explains the passages and verses brought so much understanding to me how the LORD works to bring about HIS Plan and Purposes for man in spite of his stubbornness and disobedience. I have seen the Goodness and Greatness of GOD through HIS Word, the Scriptures, as I listen to Kris, and the others, as they share insights from the chapters that I read and listen to everyday. Through The Word is a great resource to help one understand who GOD really is through JESUS CHRIST by the Power of the Holy Spirit. TTW has helped me a lot in knowing, understanding, and serving the ONE TRUE GOD who came to save us by becoming one of us so that we may be reconciled to HIM and live our lives according to HIS Will and Purpose. Thanks be to GOD whongives us the Victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST, and I thank HIM for Pastor Kris and Through The Word.

This has helped me tremendously in understanding what I'm reading. My daughter's boyfriend told me about this and I'm so glad he did. I wish I had known about it before now. Highly recommend it !

I am in a small group. We decided to read straight out of the Bible and come together and discuss the chapters. Through the Word has been such a great study tool. I have learned so much more from pastor Chris then I would have by just reading. It has helped elevate my studying. I'm actually taking notes! I'm excited to study and excited to share what I have learned with my small group. I have gotten a couple of the ladies listening to Through the Word now! They too have said it's elevated their study time. If a chapter has really hit me I'll share it in our group text. A chapter that has really touched me. That made me weep and fall to my knees in prayer and thanksgiving was Genesis chapter 35! It just felt like such a great reminder to remember where you first started and where you are now. When God tells Jacob to return to Bethel where he first encountered God. I thought of my Bethel. Where I first encountered God. Where I was in that moment and the life he pulled me out of compared to the life I live now. I got pregnant when I was 17 and placed my baby boy for adoption. My parents were divorced and couldn't care for me. So I lived with my wonderful God-fearing grandparents who surrounded me in prayer. This was the first time I really put all my faith into God. Now I look back 10 years later I have an amazing relationship with my son and his adoptive parents. My parents live in the same town as me and I see them weekly. I have forgiven then and have a relationship with them. I have an amazing husband, two beautiful girls and plans to expand the family. Sometimes we need that reminder. We need to remember the place where we first fell in love with God. Thank you for all your hard work Pastor Chris!

This series is excellent. I’ve learned so much from it. All of it was good, the stories, the examples and Solomon. My favorite chapter is the very last one. Pastor Kris gave awesome examples and his stories are so good. I’ve never heard it taught so well. Have a question do you have a written guide of Ecclesiastes? If you do how can I get a copy. I really gained a lot of understanding regarding the philosophies, past and current, as I went through the Ecclesiastes plan. It made me more determined to enjoy my life now (I’m 80) and not dwell on what I can’t control. God has been so good to me and our family. I was inspired one morning to write something that I believe God gave me: When anything is beyond my control I choose to accept “what is”, I choose not to wallow in “what is not”. I just finished reading the Book of Ecclesiastes, and I want to extend my gratitude to Chris Langham. His insights have revealed perspectives in this text that I would have otherwise overlooked. Thanks to his guidance, this book, which I seldom engage with, has truly come alive for me!

I enjoyed the journey through Ecclesiastes but chapters 11 and 12 A side and B side were a profound impact to me. So much truth so much wisdom so much help to remember our Creator.

The Lord’s timing is always perfect. As I studied end time prophecy with you, the nation of Israel was under attack. What a blessing to connect current events with the future!

The Jonah plan helped me see, as Kris explained, how judgemental I still am and the wrestle between justice and compassion. My greatest desire is to grow as a Christian but also frustrated that I beleive I should be better. Thank God for His mercy and grace. I was born of Catholic parents and raised in the Catholic faith. From pre-school to the end of high school, I was taught by Catholic nuns. Despite this background which was deeply rooted in Christianity, I battled with reading and understanding the Bible on my own. I often tried: reading a hard copy or later, listening to audio versions of the Bible. None of it worked. I was unable to develop a consistent habit of reading the word. Then four weeks ago, the leader of my Connect group at church introduced me to TTW. I cannot tell you enough how much I love this app. I look forward to each daily chapter and teaching. Sometimes I go through two or three chapters a day! I love the simplicity and relevance of the teaching and I love that I can replay the parts that I don't understand the first time or the ones that really resonate with me. I am 54 years old and I have been searching for a way to absorb and understand the word for the better part of the past 30 years. I believe that TTW is the answer to this search. I cannot thank the TTW team enough for this app and what it means to me. I thank God for giving you the vision and means to make it happen and I thank God for Harold who introduced me to the app. I love it so much that I have, in turn, shared it with many friends and family right from the end of the first chapter of Journey One. For me, TTW has been the answer to a decades-long prayer.

God has used Through The Word to help me meditate on His Word a lot more deeply and intentionally than I did before. As I listen and read the Bible, I am careful not to miss the plot of what God wants me to learn and apply in my life. My life has changed because my focus on Jesus and walking in step with Him transforms me daily. I am enjoying the journey through the Word so much that I have introduced this App to my family and friends so they too can benefit from the life-transforming journey through the Word.

I've read Ecclesiastes every year for the past decade or more doing the yearly Bible reading plan. I started listing to TTW last year & I've never gotten so much of of the Bible as I am getting now. Thank you TTW for opening up my eyes to not just the words but to the meaning. Reading is great but if you're not grasping the true context, you put in your own meaning which in my case was missing the entire point of what Solomon was trying to get accross to the reader. Thank the Lord for placing your app. In my life.

This book is a timely reminder that our time on this earth is fleeting, so we should enjoy it, make the most of it and remember God in everything we do.

I first came across TTW in the YouVersion Bible app developed by Life.Church. When I can't find the TTW Bible chapters I'm looking for in YouVersion then I'll go directly to the TTW app. I find I get so much more understanding out of the TTW sessions because of their added context and explanations of historical happenings in early Christian times along with deciphering some passages that are hard to understand. I've referred many friends to listen also. Thank you TTW.

Dealing with the aging process has been very relevant to me since I am soon to be 77! I have learned much through this journey and have been inspired and encouraged. No matter how old I get, GodsWord stays fresh and relevant. Thank you!

TTW has made the Bible story easier to apply to my life through the word and preaching of Kris Langham. I have shared the word with the most stubborn people against the believer of Christianity in my family. I hope I have planted the seed and thank TTW for giving me the courage to do so.

Through the word has been so helpful to me, after reading the gospels I moved on to Roman’s and it changed how I read the Bible. It stopped becoming a chore but something I was excited to do, and gone from me reading one a day if I could to Me trying to squeeze in as many chapters as possible without over reading it (not grasping all the info) and a huge thx to TTW as it rlly helped me understand the deeper meaning of the chapters and verses so thanks! 🙏

I am learning so many details about life in the Middle East from Genesis to Revelation. I have read and heard some more plans from TTW. It is an app you can download. It is free but worth so much to me and probably you also.

My husband and I listen to an episode of TTW on our separate commute to work in the mornings. We have been doing this for about four years now. It gives us something to talk about when we return home after we’ve each meditated on the word for that day. I recently just discovered through the science and Bible plan that I have Ben taking first Peter at 3:15 and out of context for years. I have always use this as a license to clap back at people that attack my faith. However, Kris taught me that in context it means when people ask us why we still have hope through our suffering it’s our duty to point to Christ as our hope. I love that I can still learn new things from scripture. I have read several times. Thank you for providing this growth opportunity for our marriage!

TTW has given me a better way to understand the Bible. With the pastor's explanation of each chapter, I gain so much more than if I just read it myself. My understanding of the Word is deeper, and my relationship with God is deeper. He's more real than before. I have shared this with my daughter, and I know I will share with others. I love TTW it helps me understand the Bible. I want to send it to my circle of friends and family. I have studied the Bible pretty much all my life and now I’m 72 and finally understands so much more. This plan is great. I don’t know how long ago it was recorded. I love the thoughtful approach. I about cried when Kris shared his story about his 19 year-old. My 21 yo, was diagnosed with Non-Hodkins Lymphoma last year. It was in her shoulder bone, but hadn’t spread anywhere else. God was with us every step of the way. She is now cancer free. When Kris mentioned the question about God allowing this for the lesson or whether God allowed him to be IN this lesson while going through this, it really touched my heart. His ways are above our ways.

TTW is a wonderful provision instructing us to faith in Jesus. In Jude we are alerted to ancient examples of wickedness in turning away from the revealed word of God. Payton Jones warns us to remain faithful to God our Saviour.

I have never loved Ecclesiastes like I did this time. Thank you for listening g to God’s promoting way back then. I am now that person in chapter 12 with a little spark left. I will use my life until I can’t drag this grasshopper body any longer.

I've set myself to read the Bible using the "Journeys" and have just completed journey 5. I love how the collection of Books are grouped and find that may understanding of scripture is more connected. I love the tutoring by each of the narrators helping in explanation and my understanding. I have never dug into some of the books of the Bible have come back to faith late in life. I praise God for his work and thank TTW for their guidance. Praise be to God most high.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the devotionals. The Word is explained in a way that is so beautiful, using examples that are so easy to understand and retain. It has certainly helped me be more consistent with bible study. Thank you SO much for the good work you put in into sharing the Word of God.
