Well, TTW is giving me a better understanding of the gospel, whether Old Testament or New Testament. I still have a lot to learn, but with the Holy Spirit's guidance and patience, I will continue my journey with Christ.

It has been awesome, as if it would never end. How do I have it for the rest of the Bible? GOD bless you and your team so richly and multiply His grace in your life, in JESUS name. Amen 🙏

A friend of mine told told me she came across TTW that I should look it up. She said it was a great Bible app so I decide to look up TTW it is a wonderful Bible app. I enjoyed going through it and I would pick out the The chapters that I like to read, especially Ecclesiastes and the New Testament and I especially love the B side of the lesson spoken by the teachers it’s a wonderful blessing to hear more teaching of the Bible scriptures. I love the commentary and the book of Ecclesiastes. Kris has done a wonderful job and commenting on the meaning of this particular book. For me, I am turning 65 and am in my gunlap, the final lap. Bottom line is I do not want to waste the years that I have left as my body is still in good shape. I want to love and help others while I have time and strength to do such. Fear God and obey His commands!

The journey through the 41 chapters of the book of psalms using TTW app with teaching and insight has significantly improved my relationship with God expecially connecting with David's relational experience with God It has added value to my daily devotional and private. How I came across Through the Word In the mornings I get up and feed our Dog (named Happy) then sit on the porch with him for some Happy time throwing the ball for him and playing a couple of games on my phone. While I was playing a game one morning a message popped up saying “God wants to talk to you, he hasn't heard from you in a while” and you know that's the only time I have seen that message pop up - usually you get inundated with them?? Got me thinking - best get into reading my bible again, then thinking well I tend to get lost doing that and not really understanding what I've read. So I went looking on my phone and found You version and started listening to that which ended up leading me to "Through the Word". Currently on my third journey and am really enjoying the explanations and gaining a better understanding of what God has been doing but you know what - I think I still need to talk to God. Not just to ask for some guidance when needed or help to find something I lost but just to have a chat. I think he's still waiting on a question he posed to me some time ago, I had been listening & singing along with some Christian music while working in my shed and went for a bit of a walk out in the yard and plain as day he said - "what's your song to me?" there are songs I like a lot and enjoy Christmas Carols but they're not "my" song, got me thinking of David and how he expressed his love for God, still pondering how to express that?

When I heard this through the eyes of Kris it was like being there with Jesus, also this narration clarified a lot of my wonders. But what stood with me and it will stay with me for ever was when he said than who you believe about who someone is tells you a lot about your relationship with this person so who is Jesus to you. We are full-time Evangelical Christian missionaries in Central Utah, focusing on those impacted by Mormonism. My husband and I have been given the task of training and mentoring the interns that come to serve in our ministry by training them in sharing their faith, apologetics, evangelism, philosophy, worldview, etc. Therefore, we decided to dig into the source God’s word. Science and the Bible touched me in a most powerful way especially Ecclesiastes 3 most of it was aimed straight at me.

TTW has helped me to read the word of God in a daily basis making to add more knowledge & inspired by the Holy Spirit through prayer. The basic thing Faith in which God also be pleased has touched my life. Faith that God exists, that he loved us by giving his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for us instead to pay the price of sin, that he raised him from dead so that we can also be raised by faith to live a rightous life, that he is resurrected for the hope that he will take us to live with him forever. The way TTW prepared in an organized way of order is helping me to share with others & tell the good news to those who've not heard and in the wrong direction. The explanations through the scriptures gave me a better understanding of the text that I read. It also connected the Old and New Testament and gave relevant examples about situations in today' s life. I loved the explanations of who Jesus is, who Iam in Him and the examples if how He walked an example of life that we need to follow. Everyday becoming like Him as we live out our daily walk in Him. At the start I shared to my household about the wonderful ful App I found. I showed it to them and explained a but how I use it. For now Iam still getting to know more of what is available through the App .

I’ve been a believer my whole life and at 49 realized- I’ve never read the entirety of the New Testament or Th e Bible! I had a lot of false starts. TTW has helped me stay the course because it’s one chapter at a time with someone to explain it to me! I have read at least 5 books now and I’m going to keep going. I’m especially excited for revelations because that’s so confusing. I’m very thankful to have discovered this resource!

this is a comment regarding your three episodes of side B for the first Timothy chapter 2 passage about a woman’s place in the church. I want to say a great big thank you to the TTW leadership team for tackling such a difficult passage and providing so many resources to understand it better. I have been greatly helped by the idea of using content, context, and cross-referencing to understand this and any passage. Thank you for your godly leadership. This is actually the second time I have gone through all of the B sides of first Timothy 2 because they have been so helpful.

Through The Word has been inspirational to me. Jesus came knocking on my door 2 years ago and TTW about a year later. From plan 1, 2 & 3 to following through the chapter of the day since the book of Luke in Dec 24 I have learned so much and had my mind, eyes and heart opened. I have loved travelling through Ecclesiasties (July ‘25) and in particular how Kris has finished chapter 12. I have been housebound and largely bedridden for several years due to chronic illness, My body is weak but my fire for life and the gospel is strong. I think my favourite books chapter by chapter so far have been Acts and Daniel but there’s so much to gain I can’t wait for Paul’s letters to the Corinthians to be a global experience, especially 2 Corinthians which I’m starting myself as it’s one of my favourite books, 2 Chorinthians 4:16-18 was part of my conversion story and I was delighted to hear it referenced in Ecclesiasties 12. Thanks Chris for narrating the Book of Ecclesiastes. I got and continue to get very important lessons in all. As a soon- to- be 66 year old, my flame is still burning bright however, as King Solomon has noted my hearing, eye sight, and other physical attributes have started to wain. Thanks again for giving me an insight into what is left in this lifetime and as Jim Morrison noted the glory on “the other side”.

I listen to one chapter a day. I feel lost sometimes when I wake up because of all the things that have happened in my life but most of all not being raised in a Christian home. I don’t blame my mom or Dad I was burned at age 5 and went through a lot of bad things in life. I was saved out of a bar and was so high on God and the word but lost my way and went through to marriage and did a lot of bad things. I found God helped me find my way back by never giving up on me and finally listening to through the word and not being condemned by the word did you use? I am so thankful I believe in God and can know that I am saved. Thank you for through the word listen through the word every morning before I go upstairs and take care of kids thank you I love the word and you guys are doing a great job. Praise the Lord for people like you in Jesus name I wanna say thank you for keeping up the good work.

I just finished the study on Ecclisiastes. I finally understood some of the philosophy things I had never gotten straight in college. And I realized that I didn't get them because they ignored God, and I wanted Him to be in it all the way.

Really enjoyed the journey through Ecclesiastes. Solomon’s wisdom about the meaning of life has impacted how I view this earthly journey, the Bible teachings were relative and inspiring, and my small group was uplifting.

I officiate many funerals each year and mostly use Ecc. 3:1-8. This study deepened my understanding of the whole book and was very helpful for me. Thanks

Greetings to all in the Great and Wonderful Name of Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, Peace be with You All. For a long time I have been struggling with getting my life on the right track and everytime I tried to walk the Righteous path somehow I always end up losing my focus and concentration on staying on the Path... I have realized that my Faith was not as strong as I thought it was and everytime I wind up back to where I find myself asking why can't I stay on the Path??? Frustrating I know, yet I still Believe that all of these Fails I've encountered have a deeper meaning to it... Just needed the right Guide to understand what it is to Truly Walk with Christ. I honestly don't know why but I really want to walk this Path and be Confident in it. All the distractions I have faced have led me away from what was meant for me yet I still Believe that I have more to offer, all that's left is for me to stay on the Pathway of Righteousness and to stay Faithful and Focused on Jesus Christ... Please help me stay on this Journey 🙏🏽 Pray for Me please. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His Amazing & Wonderful Loving Arms, AMEN.

1. TTW has helped me improve on my personal Bible study. 2. The temptation package has been amazing. It has given me insights on how to be victorious against temptation.

I just completed the book of first John. One of the most profound things for me was in chapter 2. Kris clarified the difference between the old and the New Testament command to love God and neighbor. Thought difference was that in the New Testament, Jesus added the phrase: to love others as he loved us. That put a whole new perspective on that commitment for me! Also, in chapter 4, Kris explains how to identify false profits. That is a chapter that I will go back to over and over again. I’ve been a Christian for over 40 years. But in the last few years, I realized that I can’t identify these false prophets. Only Holy Spirit in me can overcome the evil spirit in the world. Looking back, I feel the need to confess that I was relying on myself. In chapter 5, I learned something I had never ever thought of. I learned that Jesus is God‘s testimony to us and all of that that means! Also, the significance of blood and water was clarified. It just cleared up so much for me. And then, at the Holy Spirit… God is so good! He never keeps anything important from us. He is so faithful and merciful. There’s more but that’s enough for now. Thank you TTW for the way you have blessed my heart.

I have tried multiple through the Bible plans, but always seem to get slogged down in the minor prophets and never make it through the Bible in a year. I still may not make it through the entire Bible in just one year, but I have just completed the entire New Testament with TTW. I loved the ability to listen to it as I walk or drive, repeat sections I want to hear again,, and slow down or speed up my progress through each book. Perhaps what stood out the most was the segment on Revelation. I have heard countless sermons and teachings on the book of revelation, but listening to it straight through in a compact time. Really helped me see the overall picture and message much better than getting bogged down in debate over what this or that represents or controversy over which timeline is best. I highly recommend the app to anyone.

Every morning I truly look forward to starting my day with our Father. I have gone through the New Testament and now I’m truly starting to understand the Old Testament. I love this app. It finally gives meaning to the Bible for my journey. I have read through the Bible on my own and was confused but as I am reading along with you I’m finally seeing what the Old Testament was and is.

TTW prepares me to study. I gain a general understanding of the book I will study before I begin reading it. TTW also provides a way for a devotion on those days I'm hurried. I rarely miss a day.

This study was very informative. Yet I do agree that every thing is vanity. Yes I am a senior but brought up in the church. Many dreams and aspirations I had were lost. Many desires to do Gods work thrown to the wind is reckless living. Yet now dreams have been rekindled and goals have become alive. Thank you for reminder after reminder. God bless and a second thought, that regardless of age and time, it is never to late to witness Gods Grace and His promises to others

I enjoy TTW lessons. After each lesson I reflect on the lesson and this one prompted me to write my thoughts and opinions. Then I got moved to share my thoughts with you (LOL). It seems I came to the same conclusion as you did but I took a different path to get there. In 1Timothy 2:11 the question was asked was Paul being sexist or was that passage a sexist thought. That is from our perspective in these times. I didn't perceive the passage as sexist at first. My initial thought was different. Paul in his letter was telling Timothy about wrong things happening in the church at Ephesus. I thought maybe the women being new to this gathering, jumped in and was running their mouths trying to take control without having the knowledge and understanding of God. The first step in learning is to be quiet and submissive (yielding to the authority of another (the teacher)). In school when the teacher steps into the classroom and says "good morning class" everyone is to be quiet and submissive, so the teacher can teach, and you can learn. No sexist thoughts at all, from my first perspective, Paul was just helping Timothy understand the problem at hand. Education was needed to overcome false teachings. Paul had women preaching and teaching, Romans 16. I wanted to share my thoughts. Hope I'm using the right place.

The book Isaiah study has shown me a lot of things that I did not realize when listening or reading the Bible. TTW makes me want to continue learning the Bible and not get frustrated if I don't understand. Thank you TTW!!

TTW has helped me minister and be ministered to. God has gave me a heart to see people of God come out of the regular just church and getting to relationship with the Lord. Our grp has been going through the Word Together from revelation-Genesis. We are on ephasians. Ephasians has set the tone of all walks of family foundation and an urgency of living right and spreading the gospel where ever I go. My understanding of the Word has grown. And hearing other people's revelation of the Word helps too. Everytime a new book starts invites are sent. Now, I found out its a 20 people compactly. And I encouraged the people that didn't make it to start their own group for the book. I even got family members joining it. The Word is spreading and praise the Lord ya'll came up with this avenue to reach people. 🙌 including myself.

It has made me understand the bible and every verse I see God in a better light . I am a teacher I also share it with the students.

My wife stopped going to church, I introduced her to TTW and now she listens to it for a devotion. Sometimes we listen together.

TTW has helped me dig deeper and ask more meaningful questions. I have really enjoyed Science and the Bible journey and am looking forward to further studies. Are there any plans for a beginner and/or in depth study on apologetics? I would really enjoy a road map with ideas on how to converse with people who do not believe in God, in a calm, loving, non-confrontational way, that is founded in truth with examples, so I have some ready answers with scriptures to reference when the main questions arise.

I love Through the Word! I first learned of TTW in the YouVersion Bible app after subscribing to a reading plan. Little did I know that the narrator behind the story (Kris) would capture my imagination and would add so much more clarity to the passage (s) in the Bible—truly in a fun, creative and inspiring way. Excellent teaching Chris excellent I do often ask the Lord to keep the fire burning in me now with the age of 64 years old and looking back on the absolute foolishness things I've done some case absolutely disgusting things that I've done I have to remember that I've been forgiven of those things I pray to God to give you the strength to do the work that I do which is extremely laborious in the hot Florida Sun wears me down I had a vision of what I was hoping would turn out to be a job I can retire at and to bring 72 households to Christ sadly not one has. As I live through this season and try to learn some lessons I still earnestly pray that God opens the door or a window to where I could be more useful for his kingdom but I'll go on planting seeds until I no longer work there and there are many reasons why I still work there first and foremost I don't quit in the meantime I'm in college classes that will help me earn an associate's degree in ministry along with my wife she feels a calling to plant a church so I'm praying that at the end of the day when I get home from work though my body's exhausted I can dive into those classes so I can help being the hands and feet of Jesus. Really enjoyed how Chris and Peyton make this book come alive with great teaching. Even the second part which can be very boring. Love the banter back and forth between the two. Having gone through the entire Bible via TTW, this would be my favorite combo. Wish more of the books were done with dual commentary. Thanks for all your hard work. Glory to God in the highest. I have been so blessed by the word of God through Pastor Chris using this app. I used to struggle with reading the Bible but listening to it and getting explanations with background history and practical life experiences is easy to understand. My family is so happy. I just finished the book of Revelation today and now I have a clear picture of events of the end of the world. I also have better understanding of God expectations for me. First of all, I have to admit that I’m not a reader. In fact, I’ve never finished a single book in my life, and I’ve never been particularly fond of reading especially when it comes to complex texts like the Bible. Even though I am a follower of Christ, I’ve struggled to find the motivation to engage with it. However, by the grace of God, I came across Pastor Chris's ads on my Facebook screen, and his message about dedicating 'just 10 minutes a day' really resonated with me. I believe that God is always finding ways to reach out to me and help me deepen my understanding of Him. I’m excited to share that I just finished Journey 1, and I learned so much along the way. Thank you, and may you receive more grace and blessings!

I have so loved this Chapter. I am going to listen to it again and share it with some of my non Christian friends knowing that I am not guaranteed that they will read it. Maybe just in a moment of reflection, maybe desperation, that life is not what they thought it would be or should be, settle in give it a read. I found it a very easy read, truly enjoyed it. I have learned a lot from Through The Word's Journey 1 and Journey 2 Series. The way Kris Langham explains the passages and verses brought so much understanding to me how the LORD works to bring about HIS Plan and Purposes for man in spite of his stubbornness and disobedience. I have seen the Goodness and Greatness of GOD through HIS Word, the Scriptures, as I listen to Kris, and the others, as they share insights from the chapters that I read and listen to everyday. Through The Word is a great resource to help one understand who GOD really is through JESUS CHRIST by the Power of the Holy Spirit. TTW has helped me a lot in knowing, understanding, and serving the ONE TRUE GOD who came to save us by becoming one of us so that we may be reconciled to HIM and live our lives according to HIS Will and Purpose. Thanks be to GOD whongives us the Victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST, and I thank HIM for Pastor Kris and Through The Word.

This has helped me tremendously in understanding what I'm reading. My daughter's boyfriend told me about this and I'm so glad he did. I wish I had known about it before now. Highly recommend it !

I am in a small group. We decided to read straight out of the Bible and come together and discuss the chapters. Through the Word has been such a great study tool. I have learned so much more from pastor Chris then I would have by just reading. It has helped elevate my studying. I'm actually taking notes! I'm excited to study and excited to share what I have learned with my small group. I have gotten a couple of the ladies listening to Through the Word now! They too have said it's elevated their study time. If a chapter has really hit me I'll share it in our group text. A chapter that has really touched me. That made me weep and fall to my knees in prayer and thanksgiving was Genesis chapter 35! It just felt like such a great reminder to remember where you first started and where you are now. When God tells Jacob to return to Bethel where he first encountered God. I thought of my Bethel. Where I first encountered God. Where I was in that moment and the life he pulled me out of compared to the life I live now. I got pregnant when I was 17 and placed my baby boy for adoption. My parents were divorced and couldn't care for me. So I lived with my wonderful God-fearing grandparents who surrounded me in prayer. This was the first time I really put all my faith into God. Now I look back 10 years later I have an amazing relationship with my son and his adoptive parents. My parents live in the same town as me and I see them weekly. I have forgiven then and have a relationship with them. I have an amazing husband, two beautiful girls and plans to expand the family. Sometimes we need that reminder. We need to remember the place where we first fell in love with God. Thank you for all your hard work Pastor Chris!

This series is excellent. I’ve learned so much from it. All of it was good, the stories, the examples and Solomon. My favorite chapter is the very last one. Pastor Kris gave awesome examples and his stories are so good. I’ve never heard it taught so well. Have a question do you have a written guide of Ecclesiastes? If you do how can I get a copy. I really gained a lot of understanding regarding the philosophies, past and current, as I went through the Ecclesiastes plan. It made me more determined to enjoy my life now (I’m 80) and not dwell on what I can’t control. God has been so good to me and our family. I was inspired one morning to write something that I believe God gave me: When anything is beyond my control I choose to accept “what is”, I choose not to wallow in “what is not”. I enjoyed the journey through Ecclesiastes but chapters 11 and 12 A side and B side were a profound impact to me. So much truth so much wisdom so much help to remember our Creator.

The Lord’s timing is always perfect. As I studied end time prophecy with you, the nation of Israel was under attack. What a blessing to connect current events with the future!

The Jonah plan helped me see, as Kris explained, how judgemental I still am and the wrestle between justice and compassion. My greatest desire is to grow as a Christian but also frustrated that I beleive I should be better. Thank God for His mercy and grace.
