I have enjoyed many of the TTW plans! I’m very thankful for this app! My teenager daughter and I would do it together ,when she was younger, and I was trying to whet her appetite for reading the Word on her own. She tells me still likes to use it in her Bible reading! I am reading through Psalms currently and something you said in the introduction gave me an idea - each time I read and then listen I then go on my Apple Music and search for a song for that Psalm You can pretty much find songs for all of them. I am making a Psalm songs playlist and it’s daily growing , but I will listen to it. Today I found an album called “Psalm is Blues” …who knew??! 🙂 I think Kris should know about it !! I think he will like it !! lol Thank you TTW! I work with teenagers as my husband is a Next Gen pastor, and I share this app often encouraging them to use! It’s been a blessing to my life ! Thank you for all the time and effort you put into creating this app and all of its content. I am an expat from the United States living in Costa Rica. We you have a small Bible study group and are using your app and coordination with The Bible Recap by Tara-Leigh Cobble to read through the entire Bible chronologically in one year. For most in our group, this is the first time they’ve ever actually sat and read the Bible. Thank you for explaining every chapter to us. I just finished your study today, and learned so much.

I’ve read the Bible through and through. I grew up in church learning about the word. My daily bible reading at age 64 had become standard and a little boring. TTW has brought life back to my devotion. I love hearing perspectives that I’ve never heard before and that’s what TTW gives me.

Thanks very much for Journey 1 in Colossians, it has reminded me again that this life is all about Jesus just as Colossians is. I always enjoy Kris Langham's commentary, it feels like a Bro leading me through the scriptures. There's so much bad stuff going on in the world today and if we don't stay close to Jesus we can get sucked in. We have to remain watchful and pray about these things but stay close to him. Thank you Pastor Sandy for bringing me into the divine truth about Job's life that I never knew before. I used to love the book and I came across the YouTuber who spoke profoundly on the book and referenced this Bible app for more understanding. I have always found the book philosophical and not easy to understand. Today I have turned the lense within, just as Pastor Sandy said Job was searching desperately for the "why" instead of the "Who". I now know and understand that I shall never get all the answers of why bad things happened in life. I am really appreciating the balanced approach of these teachings. It seems much closer to what I feel. Jesus is trying to teach me. I grew up in a very legalistic church and that’s really a miserable existence.L I’ve gone through most of these lessons in the journey three at least three or more times. I’ve now completed the first three programs and I’m moving onto the next. This last few chapters was very timely for me because I’m dealing with a very legalistic family member who is really being judgmental about my life. Unfortunately, I’m kind of reaping what I sowed because I was part of that world for 60 years. I’m excited about going through the whole program that you have and I appreciate the hard work you put in.. right now I’m going through a financial situation, but you can rest assured that at some point I will be able to start sending you a small gift each month to support what you’re doing. The New Testament in a Year plan is the most engaging Bible Reading Plan I've ever used! I'm so grateful to Kris and the entire TTW team for their incredible work on this project!

For being a man after gods own heart, this was the saddest story I have heard. I was expecting great things and I feel like I saw the evil man is capable. It helped me take a good look of my own life to see the changes that needs to be made. This I know God is good. Man can be evil. Man can be retained if he truly repents. God is constantly forgiving man. Therefore constantly forgiving us. And the last thing I learn is inquire of the Lord. I saw a lot of people do things in their own will and mind, and that was wrong. This was a really heartbreaking story to read for David being a man after gods heart. I'm afraid to read about Solomon! But isn't this us always messing up? Thank you, Lord, for your patience and your forgiveness.

I have a bad relationship with churches. We do not get along. I do not feel comfortable with them or the teachings. Too many want you to follow the person rather than Jesus. Too many of them are like the Pharisees of old, making rules that are burdensome to the people and not all biblical. However, I spend tons of time in my Bible and yearn for people to listen to and learn from. People I can share my faith with and understand different perspectives. This app has made me feel like I belong. The teaching is incredible but asks what you believe and does not demand a belief. Explanations of why the teacher believes but encourages the listener to research and think, read and process. I appreciate the real life corny comments because they are heartfelt and true. This has taken my study to a different level challenging my views against others and causing me to question and research perspectives yet with the goal of getting us closer to God and Jesus. My wife and I study and listen together and I have sent it to my four daughters and friends. Everyone has been lifted and are learning from the Bible chapter breakdowns. Kris Langham seems real and has a deep knowledge of the Bible. He does not shove anything down your throat but tries to meet people where they are in the process of belief in Jesus. I still search and research all of the chapters and ponder what he believes but have never felt like I am supposed to follow him. He seems to have compassion and a passion for truth. I investigate crimes against children and need to remember the big picture. This app has broken down topics so I can refer to how to convey my faith to families that need it more than ever. I’m a skeptical person and don’t know Mr. Langham but he seems real and relatable. His daughter is involved in the company which means a lot to me. He and his wife did something right. He takes his daughters perspective and has let her correct him and give feedback. Being a dad of four girls I can relate to this as they have opened my world to new concepts. He seems to feel the same way. Like I said, I enjoy listening and that he promotes following Jesus and not him. I would love to sit down and talk with him. The app is amazing and I recommend it to everyone searching for truth. I am in it daily and sometimes multiple times. I do research and it gets me thinking. I appreciate the effort that has helped someone like me feel a part of something and to gain knowledge about God through the word. Keep up the good work. I appreciate it more than you know.

TTW has brought me closer to God. My reliance on self only got me in trouble. I start off each day listening to a couple of chapters (since Oct.2024), and take away the message of God’s will (not mine) for me. I pray that the Holy Spirit guides me as I listen and read. I battle to read God's word. It wasn't always like this. It's been a long slow lack of interest over many years. This TTW app has helped me get back into reading the word, daily. Thank you for your efforts to put this together.

I tell everyone I know about this app! It is such a great way to learn the Bible! For me to just read the bible is difficult because it is hard for me to understand at times. We had to read Genesis and Exodus before our trip to Jordan and Egypt! While on this trip the word is coming alive! Can’t say enough on how much this app has helped me to delve deeper into the word

Absolutely loved this study. I love the foreshadowing that occurs. Naomi as Israel, Ruth as Christians and Boaz as our guardian redeemer, Jesus. And Jesus seeks His bride the church!!! We live in a love story!

Nehemiah’s chapter was very inspiring, man of conviction and courage, trying to write the wrongs of many past generations of Jew.

I have decided to go through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. I just finished the first section in the book of Psalms and look forward to the next section.

The book of Acts has taught me so much. From the great commission in which Jesus sent His disciples to the foundation and creation of the early church and finally to apostle Paul and his evangelist work by God. Through the Apostle Paul I have come to understand the deep need to proclaim the gospel to others and to be able to point others to God, to testify of His goodness and His glory. Hi I have listened to Journey 1 and it has been very uplifting to me. Of note, is being reminded that Christ is the centre of our lives and as believers, we ought to conduct ourselves according to His Holy Word. The teaching is very precise and clear. My request is that can you add an option for the text to automatically scroll when the audio is being played or while reading

The plan for the book of Ezekiel was a blessing to me in that the prophetic purpose of the son of man was made more clear to me. Also, I understand more clearly the great mercy of God, to His people in Ezekiel's day, and even more in these last and evil days.

I have used TTW to help me understand books of the Bible that I have studied. It always helps me to hear the commentators take on the things that I did not understand. I will continue to do this through every book of the Bible that I study I have just completed the study on Science and the Bible. It was such an eye opener. I always thought that we have to be ready to debate science versus the Bible instead of looking at science and the Bible. Being a logical thinker I had to understand that everything is not logical. There are emotions that drive us also. I could go on and on about this, but I just want to say the phrase that influenced me the most was, “science explains the how, the Bible explains the why”. Everything is not explained by science and everything is not explained in the Bible. Looking at it that way explains a lot! The Bible urges us to search. Thank you TTW

Thanks, Kris, for an amazing teaching on the Book of Daniel. I have shied away from Daniel because I didn't understand all of the prophesies in it and didn't trust all of the many different people I've come across with all of their opinions on the subject. I learned from the stories in Daniel and figured that my understanding of the prophesies really didn't matter with how I was to live my life that day. But I've come to trust you and your Through The Word staff to help me with understanding the things that I need to understand without getting into the weeds of opinions and controversy. So, I thought that I'd give it a go and I'm so happy that I did. The specificity of the prophecies in Daniel is mind blowing. I mean the prophecies in chapter 11 in particular can be treated as a history book on the events that occurred between 300BC and 100BC. But they were written hundreds of years before they occurred. (Poof! Mind blow.) I understand now why there is so much passionate controversy and opinions about Daniel. It validates the existence of God and His sovereignty over all things. There is no middle ground or gray area about God with Daniel. So amazing and comforting for those who believe and trust in God. The thing that struck me that was something my super wise wife brought up was about the implications of God knowing the days of those times and orchestrating those events in accordance with His will and what that means for us. Were the days of my life truly written in the Book of Life long before I was born just as the days of those people were? Was it already known the victories, betrayals, hardships, wonders, and such that I would experience with the specificity of a history book? And yet...with everything known with all of the embarrassing details...I'm still known and accepted by Him that knows all things?!?!?! And He still wanted me to be born? (Boom!! Major mind blow.) Words don't do the implications of that truth justice. Thank God for the Book of Daniel. And thank God for Through The Word. You guys rock...especially the rocket man. 🙂

This Bible studying app has helped me tremendously and I thank God for it and I glorify my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray by my works of going out and doing the Great commission as Jesus spoke of that it shows my faith and love for Jesus whom loved me even when I was in my darkest deepest sins. But I am forgiven. I am saved and I am at an adopted heir to the kingdom we're of be humble. What drew me to TTW is the audio and it's been amazing to not only hearing the Bible speak to you but also to have it analysed. It's illuminating especially with journey 2. I can listen all through the day and if anything stands out, I can go back and read and study more. I've not shared with friends yet but I intend to now

I have been sleeping blessed by through the word, you have made reading the Bible so amazing. I have done most of the new testament at least twice. On 24rh August I started to read Romans, then 3 days ago I read Haggi (This was in answer to prayer, I believe)I am tomorrow to visit my sister who has a brain cancer. I believe I have been prepared to see God at work. We are both Christians. At ages of 78 & 2days off 80, we both want to impact our families and bring heaven to earth. These 2 books and devotion are an absolute blessing and encouragement I go with expectation to be used in His service. Thankyou and may God bless and prosper this Ministry

Through the word has been a real blessing to my wife and I. This October makes 49 years that we have been married. When we first got married we really loved sitting down with the Family Bible Reading and not really understanding. Over the years we fell away from reading and occasionally reading the word. But this has changed everything for us. We could set together and enjoy understanding what we are reading together. The introduction of each chapter is really what we needed to understand. My wife and I want to thank you for this blessing from God because he is truly working in our lives again. It's wonderful when I go out and people ask me how I'm doing and I say I'm blessed than I asked how about you. I am amazed at the people that say they are blessed to and see a light in their eyes it wasn't there before we started the conversation. Thank you again. Into the father Son and Holy Ghost praise be unto them.

-This book for me cleared some of the questions I had then like "Is God in this book of the bible?" Becuase as mentioned God's name wasn't mentioned at all. I have also learnt to see the unseen God in all my challenges even when nothing seems to be happening God is working. The chapter 2 explanation and how it was also linked to Sauls disobedience to kill the Amalekite but he did not follow through and that disobedience might cause a huge price for another generation to pay. I had a deep reflection on that. I should always do now what needs to be done well because all my actions good or bad will one day impact others so I must live life with intentionallity honouring God with the help of the Holyspirt daily -Learnt that you can tell the size of a person's character by the size of what bothers them. Well lastly but not limited to all I have learnt is that I'm inspired to write a book. The titles I wrote below, the time I will sit to write I do not have a clue yet but someday I will Write a BOOK - * Is God here? In the midst of hatred, cruelty and by chance is God present *Where are you, Lord? We need You now. Thank you so much TTW crew for making reading the bible understanding and relatable. I always wanted something to listen to the Bible as sometimew it can be confusing. I am very blessed to be a Christian all my life and very chapter of my life you can see Gods grace in it. As an adult it is sometime difficult to ask questions about the Bible with this app every question gets answered I ever had with the explanation and then the reading. It’s of vital importance not to let our “fires” go out and to stay strong in listening to Almighty God, obeying Him, and trusting completely in Him. The book of Nehemiah shows what happens when believers drift, become lazy, compromise God’s word with cultural nonsense, or stop caring about Him. We need to constantly thank God for sending Jesus to save us—every hour if need be—and not fall for any deception or deceitful tricks from Satan by putting on the full armor of God as often as necessary to avoid becoming a victim of sin. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for leading us, and thanks be to God through our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

This book was a very big reminder not to waste time getting to know God personally! I thank Him everyday for touching my life and bringing me closer to him. I love the way Kris shares his personal adventures in relation to the book he’s going through.

The TTW app, has led me to read my Bible every day., remembering that God, is in charge always and that he is Love. I studied the first journey, Ecclesiastes, with my daughter and her church member, we were all blessed by it. AMEN!
