It has refreshed my mind and helps me to understand what I have read in the past from Yahweh word His Bible . You break it down for more understanding.

TTW has been instrumental in my growing up in the faith. I’ve read verses and books; but this is the first time I’ve read God’s Word from genesis to revelation. I feel I have a greater understanding of who Jesus is now and how much he loves me. To the reader of my testimony who has been called by His Spirit you are greatly loved by Our Heavenly Father!

Just finished Hebrews study. The teaching followed scripture and made it easy to understand. Most importantly could apply to my life.

Listening to Exodus has helped me see who God is abd how he is loving, generous, and the savior of the world though his Son Jesus Christ. Although Christ is not mentioned in Exodus, the many old testament parallels are found in the new testament. I'm going through a difficult time now and I'm praying for God's forgiveness and for Jesus to intercede for me.

This is not my first time reading Genesis, but I had not retained many things. I love the synopsis that is given prior to reading the chapter. It brought clarity to things I did not understand. I have shared this app with several friends because it is a great learning tool.

The way each chapter is explained & read is amazing. TTW teaching’s has truly given me better understanding of the HOLY BIBLE. I never miss a day. I truly love TTW. I tell everyone when I have an opportunity. Many thanks to our church secretary Desirea Sweeden. I pray that some how I could get more people involved with the HOLY BIBLE. All that is going on in the world, everyone needs to know who is really in charge. Turn to GOD. It’s better way.

Greetings! I have enjoyed Romans. I love the book, but I find it heavy. This time round, I have seen it in such a different light. Thanks, Pst. Kris for exposing it. I invited my brothers, who are not Christians, yet to join Through the Word as I was reading Romans. One has picked up and is really getting it. One has not picked it up yet, but he joined the group, but I am praying for God's intervention. This was refreshing. God bless you richly.

I've learned that the Lord will never forsake you or forget you or not love you because he loves you forever and ever. And will help you through any storm.

A wonderful way to learn is by reflecting on the apostles after Easter and how their lives became a testimony to the growth of the soul.

I’ve been recovering from a porn addiction. I’m truly ashamed of having this nasty habit for my entire adult life. I am sincerely sorry for it, and I felt so weak that I struggled for a long time to get better. I always hated it and even hated myself for it. I was suicidal for an extremely long time because of it, but I could never bring myself to end my life because I thought I couldn’t do that to my wife and child. Then one day, I found the courage to order a self-help book off of Amazon, and now my life has changed so drastically. I am 73 days clean and on a clear path to redemption. I now believe God has guided me to find ways to improve myself and my life. He has led me to the self-help book 'Mind Over Explicit Matter,' various mobile apps, and now TTW. TTW has made me feel better about myself and has helped me find Jesus. I genuinely want to get to know Him. I’ve been searching for Him my entire adult life, and I’m 60 years old, yet I had never found Him until now. Listening to TTW has brought me closer to Him than I have ever been, and I am so grateful. Since I started this new journey, I haven’t had any suicidal thoughts. TTW and reading the Bible have given me the courage to talk about my addiction. Before this, I was too ashamed to even discuss it, let alone tell TTW. I just can’t get enough of TTW I been listening to it every day that I found it and I keep listening to it longer each time and I want to share it with my friends and family I even just shared it with a coworker the other day. I believe finding TTW was a godsend for me! Thank you for making this app,it’s brought me closer to god than ever thought possible

This has been amazing and thrilling. Started a while ago with the app and it has been fascinating. Did the Mark and Colossians plan. Learned about Jesus as firstborn, the first created . He has been there from the beginning. He's the beginning..

I just finished the plan on the book of Job, which I have always struggled to understand. I learned from the plan that we don't need to know the answer to the question "Why?" We just need to be content with knowing who God is.

I look forward to reading my bible journey every morning. Seeing God’s plan for us in the old testament was eue opening thank you

This plan of Luke is incredible and I wanted to share that our group grew spiritually through it and the word of God. We love Chris Langham’s insight and this allowed us to have a great discussion each day with each other and God. We also love the prospective of Luke the author and find it refreshing that it is different and from an interview point of view. Thank you for doing this.

I have loved the study of Exodus! The construction of the Tabernacle and all its individual items and the priest robes and how it ALL reflects Christ! How the colors of the entrance are like the blood veins and how that is a depiction of the only way to approach God is through the blood of Jesus. I am using this study in a small group meeting in my home. I play the audio from my phone ( I wish these were on YouTube) and then we talk and discuss what we have listened to.

I loved waking each morning and listening to Through the Word. It started my day off in the right direction. It helped me understand the New Testament. Can’t wait to start my next guide.

This app is great. Listening to the daily lessons is really shaping my understanding of the Bible and God‘s love for me and my role that I play as a human being in this world. It is helping me to grow as a disciple of Christ.

1. Through the word has really helped to deepen my understanding of the book of Genesis and I'm grateful for that. 2. I've learnt to trust God always, have faith in Him and be patient to receive all His promises in my life. I'd a little more problem with forgiving my offenders completely but revisiting the stories of Jacob and Esau and Joseph has dawned on me to let it all go no matter what. I've let it all gone and I feel completely free. I feel so light weighted and I'm grateful to God for that🥹. A true child of God forgives and shows great love even when greatly oppressed. Even Esau who was so carnal forgave his twin brother for stealing his blessings. How much more me, a friend of Jesus. God bless all who invented through the word.

I started reading the New Testament in a year. I read the chapter then listen to the comments and summary on it, then follow along and read it again as the chapter is being read. This has helped me understand the scriptures chapter by chapter, but also helps me think about the book as a whole. I find it a blessing on my life. Thank you for taking the time to study and record the Word.

I have been lost. Thus year has been very tough and heartbreaking I lost my mother to cancer in June. I have a bullet wound in my left thigh. Im always financially hurting because I'm behind in my mortgage and car payments. I believe its because I have been distant from God and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Christ and I served in the military and I see all the ugliness in the world and I lose hope and faith. I don't want to be like that. I want a unbreakable relationship with my Jesus Christ so he knows who I am. Im just lost on how to get back to a relationship with him. I have started to hear your and I love the praying and how you explain the Bible so it can make sense to me

I have learned that for my prayer to be effective I must combine worship, surrender and spiritual warfare every time I spend time in His presence as guided by the prayer framework Jesus gave us in Matthew 6

God is helping me understand clearly what his word says. We live in a world that is very different from the one the Bible was written in. And context is crucial. TTW helps me understand the true meaning behind the scriptures as well as keeps me focused on the main thing. TTW has helped me share the word of God with others, because it’s engaging, it’s easy to share in the car and it’s just long enough to really fit into a busy schedule. TTW is awesome and I’m on to journey #3

I always loved science and I was a strong advocate for the Bible in my science classes. To see that both are a beautiful marriage and not in conflict with one another makes me love God all the more. He spoke to the dreamers, the ones who constantly had faith, and those like me who prefer to see it to believe it, and that makes my faith in Him even stronger.

Thank you Kris for this excellent teaching through Romans. Many a passage remind me of why I love the Lord and my fellow humans, and being from krypton it's sometimes difficult, lololol. Can hardly wait to dive in the next journey Shalom to all ✝️🙏❤️‼️🎁

It was wonderful and actually made Ecclesiastes pretty simple to follow and understand. These are simple truths for us to dwell on to get through life. Loved this study.

I have enjoyed many of the TTW plans! I’m very thankful for this app! My teenager daughter and I would do it together ,when she was younger, and I was trying to whet her appetite for reading the Word on her own. She tells me still likes to use it in her Bible reading! I am reading through Psalms currently and something you said in the introduction gave me an idea - each time I read and then listen I then go on my Apple Music and search for a song for that Psalm You can pretty much find songs for all of them. I am making a Psalm songs playlist and it’s daily growing , but I will listen to it. Today I found an album called “Psalm is Blues” …who knew??! 🙂 I think Kris should know about it !! I think he will like it !! lol Thank you TTW! I work with teenagers as my husband is a Next Gen pastor, and I share this app often encouraging them to use! It’s been a blessing to my life ! Thank you for all the time and effort you put into creating this app and all of its content. I am an expat from the United States living in Costa Rica. We you have a small Bible study group and are using your app and coordination with The Bible Recap by Tara-Leigh Cobble to read through the entire Bible chronologically in one year. For most in our group, this is the first time they’ve ever actually sat and read the Bible. Thank you for explaining every chapter to us. I just finished your study today, and learned so much.

I’ve read the Bible through and through. I grew up in church learning about the word. My daily bible reading at age 64 had become standard and a little boring. TTW has brought life back to my devotion. I love hearing perspectives that I’ve never heard before and that’s what TTW gives me.

Thanks very much for Journey 1 in Colossians, it has reminded me again that this life is all about Jesus just as Colossians is. I always enjoy Kris Langham's commentary, it feels like a Bro leading me through the scriptures. There's so much bad stuff going on in the world today and if we don't stay close to Jesus we can get sucked in. We have to remain watchful and pray about these things but stay close to him. Thank you Pastor Sandy for bringing me into the divine truth about Job's life that I never knew before. I used to love the book and I came across the YouTuber who spoke profoundly on the book and referenced this Bible app for more understanding. I have always found the book philosophical and not easy to understand. Today I have turned the lense within, just as Pastor Sandy said Job was searching desperately for the "why" instead of the "Who". I now know and understand that I shall never get all the answers of why bad things happened in life. I am really appreciating the balanced approach of these teachings. It seems much closer to what I feel. Jesus is trying to teach me. I grew up in a very legalistic church and that’s really a miserable existence.L I’ve gone through most of these lessons in the journey three at least three or more times. I’ve now completed the first three programs and I’m moving onto the next. This last few chapters was very timely for me because I’m dealing with a very legalistic family member who is really being judgmental about my life. Unfortunately, I’m kind of reaping what I sowed because I was part of that world for 60 years. I’m excited about going through the whole program that you have and I appreciate the hard work you put in.. right now I’m going through a financial situation, but you can rest assured that at some point I will be able to start sending you a small gift each month to support what you’re doing. The New Testament in a Year plan is the most engaging Bible Reading Plan I've ever used! I'm so grateful to Kris and the entire TTW team for their incredible work on this project!

For being a man after gods own heart, this was the saddest story I have heard. I was expecting great things and I feel like I saw the evil man is capable. It helped me take a good look of my own life to see the changes that needs to be made. This I know God is good. Man can be evil. Man can be retained if he truly repents. God is constantly forgiving man. Therefore constantly forgiving us. And the last thing I learn is inquire of the Lord. I saw a lot of people do things in their own will and mind, and that was wrong. This was a really heartbreaking story to read for David being a man after gods heart. I'm afraid to read about Solomon! But isn't this us always messing up? Thank you, Lord, for your patience and your forgiveness.

I have a bad relationship with churches. We do not get along. I do not feel comfortable with them or the teachings. Too many want you to follow the person rather than Jesus. Too many of them are like the Pharisees of old, making rules that are burdensome to the people and not all biblical. However, I spend tons of time in my Bible and yearn for people to listen to and learn from. People I can share my faith with and understand different perspectives. This app has made me feel like I belong. The teaching is incredible but asks what you believe and does not demand a belief. Explanations of why the teacher believes but encourages the listener to research and think, read and process. I appreciate the real life corny comments because they are heartfelt and true. This has taken my study to a different level challenging my views against others and causing me to question and research perspectives yet with the goal of getting us closer to God and Jesus. My wife and I study and listen together and I have sent it to my four daughters and friends. Everyone has been lifted and are learning from the Bible chapter breakdowns. Kris Langham seems real and has a deep knowledge of the Bible. He does not shove anything down your throat but tries to meet people where they are in the process of belief in Jesus. I still search and research all of the chapters and ponder what he believes but have never felt like I am supposed to follow him. He seems to have compassion and a passion for truth. I investigate crimes against children and need to remember the big picture. This app has broken down topics so I can refer to how to convey my faith to families that need it more than ever. I’m a skeptical person and don’t know Mr. Langham but he seems real and relatable. His daughter is involved in the company which means a lot to me. He and his wife did something right. He takes his daughters perspective and has let her correct him and give feedback. Being a dad of four girls I can relate to this as they have opened my world to new concepts. He seems to feel the same way. Like I said, I enjoy listening and that he promotes following Jesus and not him. I would love to sit down and talk with him. The app is amazing and I recommend it to everyone searching for truth. I am in it daily and sometimes multiple times. I do research and it gets me thinking. I appreciate the effort that has helped someone like me feel a part of something and to gain knowledge about God through the word. Keep up the good work. I appreciate it more than you know.

TTW has brought me closer to God. My reliance on self only got me in trouble. I start off each day listening to a couple of chapters (since Oct.2024), and take away the message of God’s will (not mine) for me. I pray that the Holy Spirit guides me as I listen and read. I battle to read God's word. It wasn't always like this. It's been a long slow lack of interest over many years. This TTW app has helped me get back into reading the word, daily. Thank you for your efforts to put this together.

I tell everyone I know about this app! It is such a great way to learn the Bible! For me to just read the bible is difficult because it is hard for me to understand at times. We had to read Genesis and Exodus before our trip to Jordan and Egypt! While on this trip the word is coming alive! Can’t say enough on how much this app has helped me to delve deeper into the word

Absolutely loved this study. I love the foreshadowing that occurs. Naomi as Israel, Ruth as Christians and Boaz as our guardian redeemer, Jesus. And Jesus seeks His bride the church!!! We live in a love story!

Nehemiah’s chapter was very inspiring, man of conviction and courage, trying to write the wrongs of many past generations of Jew.

I have decided to go through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. I just finished the first section in the book of Psalms and look forward to the next section.

The book of Acts has taught me so much. From the great commission in which Jesus sent His disciples to the foundation and creation of the early church and finally to apostle Paul and his evangelist work by God. Through the Apostle Paul I have come to understand the deep need to proclaim the gospel to others and to be able to point others to God, to testify of His goodness and His glory. I’m inspired to fast for 3 days and night to specifically deal with certain long standing challenges I’ve had and I know that my answer is already here. Glory to God!

Hi I have listened to Journey 1 and it has been very uplifting to me. Of note, is being reminded that Christ is the centre of our lives and as believers, we ought to conduct ourselves according to His Holy Word. The teaching is very precise and clear. My request is that can you add an option for the text to automatically scroll when the audio is being played or while reading

The plan for the book of Ezekiel was a blessing to me in that the prophetic purpose of the son of man was made more clear to me. Also, I understand more clearly the great mercy of God, to His people in Ezekiel's day, and even more in these last and evil days.

I very much appreciate your Narrative before the actual study because you add current day comments and always alert listeners to pay attention and be ready for what’s a actually happening! THANK YOU!

I have used TTW to help me understand books of the Bible that I have studied. It always helps me to hear the commentators take on the things that I did not understand. I will continue to do this through every book of the Bible that I study I have just completed the study on Science and the Bible. It was such an eye opener. I always thought that we have to be ready to debate science versus the Bible instead of looking at science and the Bible. Being a logical thinker I had to understand that everything is not logical. There are emotions that drive us also. I could go on and on about this, but I just want to say the phrase that influenced me the most was, “science explains the how, the Bible explains the why”. Everything is not explained by science and everything is not explained in the Bible. Looking at it that way explains a lot! The Bible urges us to search. Thank you TTW

Studying the Book of Esther has reminded me of how God had been working (and still is) in my life, even when I was not aware of His presence; even at times when my eyes were not on Him like they should have been.

Thanks, Kris, for an amazing teaching on the Book of Daniel. I have shied away from Daniel because I didn't understand all of the prophesies in it and didn't trust all of the many different people I've come across with all of their opinions on the subject. I learned from the stories in Daniel and figured that my understanding of the prophesies really didn't matter with how I was to live my life that day. But I've come to trust you and your Through The Word staff to help me with understanding the things that I need to understand without getting into the weeds of opinions and controversy. So, I thought that I'd give it a go and I'm so happy that I did. The specificity of the prophecies in Daniel is mind blowing. I mean the prophecies in chapter 11 in particular can be treated as a history book on the events that occurred between 300BC and 100BC. But they were written hundreds of years before they occurred. (Poof! Mind blow.) I understand now why there is so much passionate controversy and opinions about Daniel. It validates the existence of God and His sovereignty over all things. There is no middle ground or gray area about God with Daniel. So amazing and comforting for those who believe and trust in God. The thing that struck me that was something my super wise wife brought up was about the implications of God knowing the days of those times and orchestrating those events in accordance with His will and what that means for us. Were the days of my life truly written in the Book of Life long before I was born just as the days of those people were? Was it already known the victories, betrayals, hardships, wonders, and such that I would experience with the specificity of a history book? And yet...with everything known with all of the embarrassing details...I'm still known and accepted by Him that knows all things?!?!?! And He still wanted me to be born? (Boom!! Major mind blow.) Words don't do the implications of that truth justice. Thank God for the Book of Daniel. And thank God for Through The Word. You guys rock...especially the rocket man. 🙂
