Wall of Love for TTW

This Bible plan has drawn me closer to God due to the insight that I have received from the study of Daniel. I can't wait to listen to other books of God's word. TTW helps God's word come to life.

I have been a Christian for many years. I loved Genesis study in TTW. I’ve read thru the Bible many times, and heard the Word repeatedly. But Kris has brought out new perspectives and meanings. It’s because God’s Word is alive. Thank you Kris for your insights, and for the humor. Once again proving that being a Christians is fun and not all stiff necked. May God bless you and your ministry

This study has touched my life in so many ways. It’s on what I’m guilty of in my walk. What I need to pray for and change in my walk. What I thought was OK but it’s not. Father let me continue to grow through your word and do your will not mine.

The book of Daniel has been confusing to me. TTW has given me a better understanding of Daniel. Two points I come away with are kings and kingdoms will come and go but God will always be in control. 12:9 comforts me in not understanding everything. “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end”. I don’t need to understand I have faith in Jesus Christ and trust his promises.

This has been such a powerful journey for me and the other men that walked through it with me. Especially the time we spent in Job. It came just before a sudden loss in my family and I have no doubt God was using it to prepare me for what we endured with our loss. It truly helped me not get lost in my pursuit of the “why” but helped me stayed focused on WHO I serve and who loves me so much. He has a purpose behind the pain and my time through our journey truly helped me in seeing and believing that. Truly blessed by the journeys and studies I have done with through the word. Excited to see where God is leading us next. Thank you all for this great tool called “through the word”. Lots of love and prayers.

I love TTW!!! My study of Jeremiah touch me to my core. I just finished Genesis with my husband and it again touched me. I’m so thankful to TTW and given me an understanding of the Bible, thank you and God bless you for your work

I have been a follower of Christ for many years now. Yet I still struggle with forgiveness. How could He forgive me for all the horrible things I have done?! All the people I have hurt. For hurting Him. How is that possible? Because of this devotional I can see now that God has truly forgiven me because of His Son Jesus. What a HUGE burden that has been lifted off my soul! Thank you Through the Word for helping me see that and for all that you do. Blessings

I didn’t plan it this way in the beginning, but was doing the end of Exodus ( about the tabernacle) by myself at the same time I was doing Hebrews with a friend. The concepts and commentaries intertwine so well!!! What a blessing. Thank you!!

What an amazing Book. My daughter invited me to this plan, I am an active Calvary Chapel member, started going in 2021, (was saved in 2022) in Gold Beach, Oregon under Pastor Mike Quesada, now attending Calvary Chapel Desert Streams under Pastor Matt Ferguson.

1. Good day, TTW give me simpler and we'll explanatory way to under the ministry of jesus. And also give me insight into who Jesus truly his. The implications of that is, my faith in him grew tremendously. 2. Colossians 4 ( Grace): Made me understand tha, you can still threat the unbelievers with grace. 3. By word of mouth

This plan has really brought me back into the habit of daily study. Each morning I have looked forward to it. It’s been great to go through chapters again and and really understand them.

I am going through a difficult time in my life and I am grateful for TTW as it is that thread that keeps me connected and helping me to stay afloat while waiting to see God come through to show me what His direction for my life is. I feel so far from Him and yet I know He is with me. I tell my friends that TTW is one of the best Bible apps and encourage them to check it out. I have also shared the Big Picture with someone who is still deciding as it really gives a good overview of the Bible. I am trusting God to minister to her through the word. I also enjoyed Matthew with the voice of Benjamin, Mr Ferguson's son as it puts a smile to my face. God bless him. Also Kris Langham's daughter when she was young and introduces the speaker. The TTW has touched my spiritual journey especially since I had a stroke in November 2023. During that time God became quiet and I couldn't hear Him. It took me a few months to hear Him speaking to me again. My speech was most affected, so I was searching for an app to hear God's word again, and God led me to your app. Before the stroke, I was studying to be a local preacher of our church, so TTW has become my special bond with God and what He is saying through Kris to me. My journey is continuing by learning, teaching, and sharing TTW with others. God has remained faithful, and I walk in His favor daily. Thank you, God, for Kris and the opportunity to share Your Word.

This book was very insightful I had to read the Afrikaans version to complety understand everything as it has so many fassets to grasp and take in. These chapters was written a long time ago but it feel they were written for me. I found it very personal. Look deep within and grow your faith each day an hold on to the promises. Thank you

It has allowed me to participate in a Men’s Bible study weekly when my church does not offer that opportunity. It has been a real blessing when my friend from out of state and in a different time zone called and wondered if I would be interested. Even though we are only a group of two. It has been wonderful to be held accountable to another Christian brother to read the scripture, discuss it and dig deeper at times. Thank you for this ministry. Men you can make it work if you have the desire, discipline and commitment to serve the Lord.

Hi, I am so great full for the teaching I am receiving. Through the Word has uncovered so much of Gods teachings and through the book of Job, I have found new freedom. I wanted to understand the book of Job due to a similar situation I found myself in this last year. I had many things happen, I lost my rental house due to them selling and thought I’d be sleeping in the car, I lost my dad in January and then had to nurse my dying mum in April/May. I arrived back at work to find I’d been falsely accused of a lot of things and demoted, bruising my ego, I found out I was being bullied behind my back by leaders at work, in a space I could not be to defend myself. My son was in a spontaneous attack by people wanting to have a fight. There are many more little things in and amongst these things as well. All this along with the grief made me wonder if I was being tested, similarly to Job. I began to read and listen to the teachings of Job, each day learning what Job did and trying to not fall into the same traps. I worshipped the sovereign God, keeping my eyes on him, stopping talking about my situation to defend myself but left it up to God to get me out. I was very much hoping to hear from God when he spoke in the last three chapters and He did not disappoint me. The last chapter was where he spoke to me so loudly, I could feel His presence in my lounge area so fully, that I felt like I needed to lie in the floor. God got Job to pray for his three friends and it so happened that there were three people at work making life difficult for me. I prayed for God to forgive me for my thoughts and feelings towards them and felt God wanted me to pray for their forgiveness too, it was such a powerful moment in Gods presence and the feeling of freedom that came after I cried my prayers aloud that morning was so so so good. I believe your teaching, the testing I have been through and God using all of this, has brought about so much refining in me this year. I am so great full for this app, I share it with people often and I pray blessings on all of you in the team. I possibly won’t get to meet you here on earth, but I’m looking forward to spending eternity with you all. Lots of love, Deb

A friend of mine in Los Angeles and I am here in North Carolina and she told me about through the word so I got the app and I started listening to it and the B side fascinated me how you describe the scriptures and bring out through my eyes a spirituality, a whole different meaning of what I read and I enjoy it. I really enjoy it. I’ve told two of my granddaughters and a couple of friends so it’s amazing thank you. I love through the word Blessings to all.

Although I’ve enjoyed reading the Proverbs over the years, I’ve never read the whole book. What a treasure of wisdom and insight! I appreciated the fact that there were a variety of guests teaching together. It was an amazing journey that I will never forget !

I gain so much insight from these lessons!! I really wish the lessons could be written as well - to make sharing the information easier. I keep trying to get my Grandson to listen but he won’t. I feel I could really entice him with what you’ve said about Science. I absolutely love the lessons and constantly listen to them (and the audio Bible) daily! I also listen when I have insomnia because of the peace it gives me!

The help I have received through TTW is, Incredible!. I must say that the good Lord is using TTW to change my life positively. Yes indeed, he’s definitely doing so. Reading my Bible regularly , those days , was quite a task, This became a problem for me, and had led to me to be ignorance of acquiring appropriate knowledge of most Bible stories . How I share TTW to friends and family is by , first of all, inform them about the advantages I have experienced since I joined TTW I offer them to join. Nowadays, among my family, and friends, we love to discuss about certain sections of the Bible stories. This strategy has helped us , not only enjoy Bible stories but also have better understanding of the stories in general and about Jesus himself. TTW has definitely simplified Bible studies, TTW has not only made the entire Bible easier but more enjoyable to follow. Nowadays I always look forward to listened to it with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. A Big Congratulations to TTW for your wonderful achievement!!

I found this app at a particularly difficult time in my life, during a severe health crisis. At first, I listened for myself. Then I got my husband to listen. I’ve shared the app with everyone who would listen to me.

It has helped me understand the Bible in a concise manner. I have really taken notes and highlighted the verses. I have just finished Journey 2, and I am in awe of the Word. Revelation 5 is intriguing Many situations happening today are described here. I am so very grateful and thankful for Through the Word.

The 2 Thessalonians study reminded me that Jesus is faithful, that He will always be with me, that He will never abandon me, and that He is coming back for ME someday. It encouraged me to continue living life His way and as a witness of the peace that He so freely gives to everyone who believes and gives their life to Him.

Hebrews 11, this has really strengthen my faith and given me greater clarity. Thank you so much Through the Word. This app has been a blessing to me and my family.

Loved how it brought out and highlighted so much faith. Yet put into perspective everything with the Pharisees and the scribes. Such a reminder…that he wants our faith to grow not our works first.

For a long time I shyed away from reading the Biok of Revelation due to the imagery and language, but during a brief Sabbatical the Holy Spirit led me to it. I must say, I cried 😢. I've been living in a dark place and I haven't been close with God at all. For the past two years, it felt like my life was falling apart and at some point I felt like maybe life would be better without me in it. Through a friend, I found my way to church and back to my Father where I also came across TTW. I'm currently busy with Journey 4 and oh my word, has this changed my life. While going through the chapters, I've been receiving messages through the word and answers through the word for a whole bunch of stuff in my life... why my relationship of 13 years didn't work out, why I always felt like I was never enough. Through this specific journey, I feel like I have grown in my journey with Christ and that I now better understand His plan for my life. I have never felt more loved and worthy throughout my loneliness. Thank you TTW for your time and effort in sharing the word along with easy to follow and understand audio guides. This really has changed my life and how I view the world. Our God truly is a Lovingly Caring AWESOME GOD ❣️

Every time I tried reading the Bible I would zone out and not understand what I was reading. After discovering TTW I was able to finish listening to the book of John and I learned a deeper understanding of Jesus path.

Wonderful devotional/synopsis of the book of Ezra and the story of the exiles returning to Jerusalem. Through the Word has been a blessing to my family and I for many years and I start my morning listening to it as I eat breakfast.

Hi Pastor Kris. My wife and I have been missionaries in South Africa for 20 years now. Been listening to your message on 2 Corinthians 9. It is still tough in the mission field. We are waiting for our harvest.

I always kinda figured that science would coincide with heaven in some degree. It was hard to believe that they would contradict eachother. Thank you, so much. I am so thankful for the Bible and Calvary Chapel.

It is teaching me the word of God, and only through Jesus can I be saved. It has helped me to be disciplined in my journey to salvation. Found the app through the Youversion app. Changing up my scripture time to refresh. Enjoying the app very much. My grandchildren live with me. I am going to borrow the ABA. I want to encourage them but struggle because it’s hard to keep up with their basic needs. I hope this can be a way to start the day well and encourage them. Thank you!

Our church, Mt Hebron Christian Ministries, has been reading though the year plan of the Bible. It has been awesome to hear the commentary before the chapters. It has helped me gain more understanding of how to apply scripture to my daily life.

I have thoroughly ENJOYED Through The Word since discovering it on YouVersion. It has enhanced my understanding of the Bible SO MUCH MORE than 10 years of Catholic school ever did. From my early twenties up until maybe 15 years ago, I was into some bad stuff...but made a complete 180° turn back to God and Jesus Christ thanks to a friend. I have recently (July 26, 2025) been baptized into the Family of God through the Seventh Day Adventist church I attend in Eatonton, GA. Kris, Peyton and the others bring my understanding to life everyday, and it's become the best habit I could hope for

Just finished Isaiah with Pastor Sandy. TTW is such a solid resource and helps greatly to keep you on track with Bible study. This origins story of everything has transformed my understanding of The Father, Son - Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I reminded me just how incredibly intentional God is with me(us) and how is mercy, but is also justice. I especially appreciated Pastor Chris making the analogy between Joseph and Jesus- Somehow I never understood that before or saw it - amazing! I so want my 33 years old old mechanical engineer son to hear this and shared by Pastor Chris - it would really speak to him. I am a monthly supporter and am grateful for your ministry.

Am grateful to this plan for helping me love and enjoy studying the word of God ,the word has become flesh to me. Books in the Old Testament i disliked like Leviticus and Numbers i have enjoyed and understood for the first time. Thank you Jesus and thank you Pastors. God bless you

Science and the Bible was so cool. I learned a lot about science, and how our educational system has taken sides on these subjects. Wisdom, discernment, fear, balance, trust, faith are all areas I explored more deeply as a result of this lesson. Thank you, God bless you Kris.

I find this particular book a hard read. But each time that I read it, I learn some. And reading it Through The Word with the commentary has helped me more. And I know when I read it again, more will be shown to me.

I first found TTW on YouVersion. Soon I was searching YouVersion for everything TTW came out with. Then I finally Googled TTW and found the app. It’s been around 2 years now and nearly every night I journey with you guys through God’s word. I rarely skip a night, maybe one or two per month. It’s so very insightful and I am so happy it exists. Thank you so much for creating this app. God bless youbless you all.

It’s got me closer God than I ever been in my 60 years old life I have been searching for a long time and tried reading the Bible but couldn’t understand it very well but Kris makes it so much easier to understand.

TTW has helped me to read my bible to creat time for God's word. I usually don't have time due to work pressures however when I remember I didn't read or complete a plan it helps me to go back to it from time to time. The foundation plan helped me to understand how to manage my relationships. I actually shared Rom 15:1 with my husband about bearing with those who are weak

There is no excuse not to get into the Bible when you use TTW. Simple and to the point, and you can use it anywhere ! Just finished the study on prayer, and didn't realize how much I needed to hear it until now. With 3 teen girls it will be changing how I pray for them... GOD'S will in their life to be fulfilled and not mine.
