The narrative is so key for me with breaking down and explaining the chapter in more depth for me to catch parts I may have not identified or even realized what it meant. I have shared with friends, family and even suggested to people on Facebook when looking for some guidance! I found TTW years ago when I led a large women's Bible study. The chapter overviews were instrumental in helping me understand Scripture in order to teach it more effectively. My daughter, her husband and her son Ivan live far north of me. We decided to do advent together. Her son, my grandson is learning about God‘s word through this and it’s helping us to connect in a deep way deeper than we could in any other way. One example is the tearing of the veil when Jesus died. Learning about how the veil came about, and all the details that went into it. I also picked up on so many other details, on every chapter and story I have heard more than once. Thank you for bringing this to us.

While going through the chapters in Mark, I noticed that in the Jewish regions He warned those He healed to not tell others but in the non Jewish areas He encouraged them to tell. Those in the Jewish regions disobeyed however and told which ultimately resulted in His death. It's crazy to me how God is able to use our disobedience to accomplish His plan!!

I am completing the New Testament in a year in a few days. The book of revelation commentary left me with such hope and I am not completely sure why. Despite the foretelling of dark times, I felt closer to the Lord than I have in years. Thank you for your hours of teaching. Although I have read through the Bible several times with difficulty, this journey was grounding and joyful! May the Father bless you for your service to the Body!

I was brought up a Christian but never really understood what Advent was. Now I do. Simple things like the explanation of King Herod being an Edomite and not Jewish and explainations of Jewish traditions and history notes such as how the verses in the Old Testament prophesy the future. All becoming more clear to me than when I just read the Bible. TTW is gluing the whole story of Jesus together for me and I am forever grateful. Although I missed quite a few sessions, the days I did attend were truly uplifting. The teachings nourished my spirit, filling me with joy and new insights that I felt compelled to share. I ended up sharing what I learned with three friends, and they were all genuinely excited to start the plan. Listening to the teachings brought me happiness throughout the day and kept me reflecting on the lessons. I would absolutely love to see an Easter Edition!

This Christmas was so very different for me. Our children are grown and raising their families all over the country. Due to work schedules we were unable to all be together and it gave me such an empty feeling. I have been enjoying through the word for about a year now and was so excited about the Advent plan. I enjoyed every minute but when we got to Mark 15 it helped me really feel how selfish I was feeling. I again realized what Christmas is all about and it brought so much joy into my spirit. Thank you. I am blessed
