Last year, my family wanted to read through the Bible in a year. I picked a plan through YouVersion, but it went too fast and some did not finish. I saw Kris on some of the Guided Scriptures through YouVersion and decided to try Through the Word Journeys this year. All but my son joined us. Please pray for him. I also offered the plan to all of my siblings and their children as well. My nephew-in-law decided to join us. They are loving the pace, detail, and humor in Journey 1 and are actually unhappy when you do not cover all parts of a chapter. Journey 2 begins on Tuesday and I will extend the offer to everyone again. Thanks for offering I great learning tool. I have studied the Bible for a while now and even I learned new things.

I use to be scared of the end times, not understanding its meaning. Even as a child I dreamed of the nightmare. Church would touch on it, just enough to feed my fear of it. I never really understood the meaning. It was always doom is coming! The older I got my intense fear turned into doubt, just not knowing what I was going to endure if I lived long enough and the end times came in my lifetime. Why do the churches not teach from Revelation more? I am going through your study and it has given me a whole new outlook and understanding. God loves his children so much and has already provided his protection but he also has no tolerance for those who have chosen and serve the evil enemy. It really brings new meaning to God’s power. Your study has answered so many questions and helped me understand the symbolism in Revelation. It is so good I will go through this study again! I don’t fear it anymore ! I am in awe of Gods power! Thank You!

This whole series of through the word has really changed the way I look at the Bible. I always get something more out of Genesis and this plan was no exception. Thank you for all your work on this. I especially like the side B episodes. The insight about the deeper meaning of the prophecy in chapter 49 was something I hadn't heard before. I also liked the emphasis on forgiveness at the end. It helped me understand me more and life, living. And when I fail, turn left instead of right, where to-look(UP) and to know God is there. Sometimes shaking his head and laughing at me, but he’s there with love.

I’ve been taught stories from the Old Testament however am new to reading them for myself. Pastor Kris’ teaching through Esther opened my eyes to the character of God in a new way. Seeing how God is always working in our obedience and trust in Him. How He loves us truly in the Romans 8:28 way. Reading through Esther in TTW was actually quite fun and joyful, and I look forward to reading more of Gods big story in the Old Testament. Thank you Kris and the TTW team! And thank you to our Lord.

It’s important to know that you all are providing the actual summary and scripture. It's always fun and I find something "new" each year. This year I wanted to try something different that would still "force" me to open the Bible. TTW was it! The commentaries made me look up some things and it was fun to read along as the scripture was narrated. The 10 minutes a day was amazing, although I always took longer because of my "side" research.😊 I was able to not only enjoy this but include it along with Sunday sermons, Wednesday night Bible study, my other Christian reading ( and of course prayer) and did not feel stretched or stressed. An extra special bonus was being able to listen to my cousins comments on the lessons! I'm now trying to decide where to start next as this is for sure my Bible study for the year. It has helped my sister and I grow closer to each other and more importantly, closer to the Lord. Before I started through the word, I only remember certain parts in stories from Sunday school class. We are now starting to be able to quote scripture, retain what we’re learning, and put it to use and practice in our daily lives. even if we’ve already done a chapter in a new plan has the same chapter, we just get to deep dive into that and we always find something we missed and something we can take away from each lesson.

TTW has strengthened my faith and helped me grow spiritually. Working night shifts at a hospital gives me a lot of quiet time, and TTW has become a source of peace, guidance, and connection to God. It helped me slow down, listen, and reconnect with my faith in a deeper, more intentional way.
Through the TTW audio teachings, the stories of Moses, Noah, and Jacob truly came alive for me. I grew up hearing about them from my mom, but I didn’t fully understand their meaning back then. Now, listening as an adult, I feel God speaking through those messages. They opened my heart, strengthened my spirit, and helped me see God’s purpose, patience, and faithfulness in a new way.
I share TTW as a blessing, not a pitch. TTW has strengthened my faith and helped me grow spiritually. Working night shifts at a hospital gives me a lot of quiet time, and TTW has become a source of peace, guidance, and connection to God. It helped me slow down, listen, and reconnect with my faith in a deeper, more intentional way.
Through the TTW audio teachings, the stories of Moses, Noah, and Jacob truly came alive for me. I grew up hearing about them from my mom, but I didn’t fully understand their meaning back then. Now, listening as an adult, I feel God speaking through those messages. They opened my heart, strengthened my spirit, and helped me see God’s purpose, patience, and faithfulness in a new way.
I share TTW as a blessing, not a pitch. Thank you for reaching out. I have used TTW for about 3 to 4 years now. I started on youversion and switched to your app. You guys have been a huge part of getting through some dark days. In 2022 I had a mental health struggle begin. Anxiety and Insomnia was hitting me hard. As trials will do this pulled me closer to God. I am a former youth pastor and before my breakdown I had lost my spark for the word.

I read 2 chapters a day in your app and the knowledge I have retained from it has improved my understanding of God so much. Now, I am finished with that mental health struggle. Divine Providence!!!! Reading Esther made me realize that even though you can’t see God….. He is behind the scenes orchestrating it all for our good and His glory.
I am what I am by the grace of God. I am not a queen, just an ordinary woman who loves The Lord. And I believe God can and will use me just like Esther, maybe not to save an entire nation or people but I have come to understand through the book of Esther that extraordinary experiences and opportunities that I am granted are not merely for my sake, but for the sake of God’s kingdom agenda. If I lose sight of that, I miss God’s kingdom program in history and become useless to Him.Jesus told his disciples that God’s people are called to be salt in an unsavory world. But, if salt no longer tastes salty, it has lost its purpose (Matt5:13). Reading and listening to Pastor Kris, Esther reminded me that God is sovereign and will accomplish His program with or without me.
The world we live in today is full of wickedness and racial hatred but I serve a God! And I believe God has called HIS people to go forth with His kingdom agenda for such a time as this. Whose agenda will we follow?
