Wall of Love for TTW

I started to understand the Bible much beter. The typology of Joseph is a real eye opener. I was never keen on reeding the OT because I did not understand it. And I am guilty of not forgiving myself as said in Chp 50, but now I understand what impact it can have on my relationship with God and others around me.

Thank you TTW it really blessed me and help me in my study and reading the Bible.. God bless you more and pray that this TTW will bless many 🙏☝️

Once again, I enjoyed listening to the stories of David and his life. It has brought me closer to my belief in God and closer to my walk of faith.

This plan has allowed my to commit to learning about my father everyday or several times a day. I tell everyone about TTW and how helpful and easy it is to read and understand the Bible. Thank you

TTW has removed the paradigms restricting the deeper meaning of the Gospel. Colossians has become a personal letter and I will be using your color high lighting method. I have shared TTW with everyone in our Wednesday Bible class at church.

TTW is helping me in my understanding and knowledge of the word of God. I find this very helpful as some passages had been hard to understand or caused be worry. Thank you Pastor Kris and the TTW team!

This is my second time through all the journeys. In each chapter I discover new insights and my discoveries help shape not only my life, but those I share them with.

My life and thoughts about the perspective of the word of God has changed, I see so many things differently, and I thank God for the lofe of the Pastor John and the team for putting this awesome app together for us. I pray many people will have access to it and be transformed, I am sure to share it with my husband for us to grow together with our kids as well. TTW has been blessed increased my 30 years of knowledge and faith in the Word of God. I will continue to listen and grow in the Lord within my relationship with HIM. Our family is thrilled to gift to Through the Word! Through the Word has been a real blessing to me and I am so happy I found this easy to understand and read bible study app. I have been able to share this to my wife, son, friends and family. Everyone I share Through the Word with has the same excited reaction of how they love to hear the on average 10 minute explanation followed by the bible verse. SO GOOD! The book of Revelations really hit it with me and I am so thankful for Kris and how he explains every verse. I used to live in Southern California when I was in the Navy. I was mostly around the base or Santee area. When I exited the service I lived in Houston for 13 years, where at the tail end I really found the Lord. It was then I heard his voice tell me "go, get out" (of a relationship I was in going a bad direction). A couple years later I met my wife (NOT seeking her) in Kansas City. Our story is a blessing as the Lord actually spoke to us at separate times (me in Houston) and her in her house in (KC) that we would marry each other. He was right! 6 months after the Word we were married. We ALWAYS have His Word to stand on in the good times and the hard times.

Luke is such an inspiring book. I learned so many things, but the part I pray is what Jesus did to the disciples at the end he opened their mines to scripture. I pray he will open my mind as well, and that I will be faithful on sharing my faith, realizing that I can tell the message, but I need the power of the Holy Spirit to open the listeners mind praise God.

I have receive good insight and understanding of the Word. That I should look deeper in every vers within the Bible not taking some verses for granted.

Psalms has been a book that has many great passages. Sometimes I found it hard to understand the context of the psalms and what God was really trying to tell ME through them. I have worked on this book for months and grown to understand them by using Through the Word. You commentary and teaching has given me so much about our God who loves me/us soooo much! It has reminded me of the valleys, mountaintops, and seasons of life that God has walked me through! The teaching has been FABULOUS! Thank you so much!! Each time I sat to study, I’d journal my thoughts and personal experiences I took away from the studies. I filled my journal with heartfelt prayers and understandings! Attached are some snapshots of the psalms and how they touched me in my Bible with notes in the margins from what I learned and images that reflect my experiences in one way or another. Thank you so much in your work at TTW to help us, out here, when we study!!! I SHARE TTW with EVERYONE! I teach a Bible study for women at my church and it has been a running joke when I bring something up. Someone will say, “Let me guess…you got that from TTW!” 🤣 I talk about it a lot and wear my TTW sweatshirt as a testimony to all of the great things they will find there! So glad I found you!!!

TTW through Servant of God Kris Langham have made it possible for me to understand more and get the truth of the word through Journey 1 ( Mark and Colossians). I have learnt that Jesus Christ is the center of reality. Christ is supreme, divine savior. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Most High God who came to serve and save through His death and resurrection. Now I know it is by His Grace I'm saved ,i should abide in Him and His words. I desire to get more knowledge and wisdom so that I may be able to teach and preach the Truth Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I checked the stats and my friend and I have completed 12 plans and 3 Journeys together over a couple of years. We’re into Journey 4 now. We keep coming back because the teaching is phenomenal! We’ve learned so much about culture and practices that explain the “whys” of certain scriptures. We can’t read the Bible through our western world-view if we want to truly understand God and have a deeper relationship with him. And we do! TTW brings context and spiritual insights we don’t get on our own. We also love TTW because #1 - it keeps us disciplined, we’re accountable to each other for daily reading and sharing our thoughts via the texting element. And #2 I’m in Alberta Canada and she’s in Virginia USA. How cool is that?!

I have been using TTW in my discipleship program. I have a small group that is reading through the bible. This teams guidance and feedback has been invaluable. Reading a chapter a day is a pace that most can handle as we start out this journey. The comments listed can then be used to have a weekly discussion. Thank you guys for helping those that God has given me on this journey of seeking Him out with all our hearts.

I take care of my wife who is sick. It can be very stressful. The journey messages have been a life saver for me. As i work with her through the day the messages and lessons learned play through my head and keep me focused on what is important.

I love the Science & the Bible series. I love how you bring everything together. I’m not sure when it was written, so I pray your daughter is doing well. I’m currently going through a season where I lost my job and the man I hoped to marry all at once, with absolutely no reason why. He gave me Proverbs 3:5 before it all went down, and a month later in my consistent struggle with it all He brings it back to me. I guess I’m heading to your study in Job next. Thank you, truly, for being a connection in all my searching.

I listen every day. It helps me by giving me time to think about what they are trying to convey in each verse that I hear. TTW generally has really been an eye opener, I thought I knew somethings about the scripture, and it turns out I didn't explore other perspectives. One thing I picked from this plan is that I've been saved in God's love by his grace and not cos of anything I have and will ever do. Halleluyah! 🙌

It helped me to have time with God while doing something else, I will be washing dishes but listening to the word of God at the same time. The verse about the fig tree gives me the deeper explanation that I have never known, thank you so much for the explanation. By sharing with them what I have listened in TTW, God bless you abundantly for me.

I so love TTW it is been a game changer! A short story.. This is a story about how my daughter and her family came to know Christ. I have a daughter and she and her husband have two girls. My daughter had been to Sunday school and church in her youth but it was not part of her life as an adult, mother,wife. As I had struggled with my faith when my daughter was younger she fell away... I did not push or preach to her about Jesus because who was i to talk about Jesus to anyone because of my struggles. So no expectations, no preaching, no guilt trips, just a Cholate Cross every Easter. The grandirls started looking forward to the chocolate crosses every Easter. My daughter and son In law had another baby girl about 10 years apart from the first two girls. I continued to send the chocolate crosses every Easter. They looked forward and expected them every year. When the youngest girl was about six or seven she asked my daughter why does granny send chocolate crosses and not chocolate bunnies the the other grand parents? So my daughter tried to explain to her that it was because Jesus died on the cross for us and he rose from the grave on the third day. So my daughter had reminded all those many years ago about Jesus... However my granddaughter reaction to this expectation was "so you mean like a zombie 🧟‍♀️?!!! My daughter called me and said I think I need to take her to church and Sunday school. " Today my daughter takes the youngest to church and Sunday school, and vacation bible school. My daughter volunteers at the vacation bible school. The oldest grandchild has started to attend the adult youth group bible study. The youngest was Mary at this year's Christmas padgent, and her Dad is now coming to see her plays. GOD IS Good! One chocolate cross at a time

I never really studied the bible in a manner that let me understand what I was reading. Now it seem like I can have a deeper understanding of Gods word.

I want to thank this journey with the book of Samuel i learned to trust the Lord God Almighty all the time and not to do anything without God i am happy with journey of this Book of Samuel

My family and I discover TTW over 5 years and one of the fitful ways we have used this is with daily devotion. Our children were in college now married and we alway do a study together. It is the best way to keep us connected and update with our spiritual growth.

Just finishing #17. It has been powerful at this particular time in history. So many of us have wondered how long God will have patience with our leaders who have caused such anguish for so many people. I have been praying for more people than ever. Thank you for making Jeremiah so real.

The background is that I have used TTW for many years and I usually listen to topical plans. About a year ago, I decided to do the Journeys for my daily read through the Bible. The information that I get through your plans, just expands my knowledge of the Bible tremendously. It brings it alive. I’m on journey 9 and it’s been exceptionally insightful. One thing really pierced my heart, though. In the study of 1 Samuel 12 Sandy Adams talked about the sin of prayerlessness. Like many Christians I have a daily devotional time and I pray here and there throughout the day also. But I’m not praying with the fervor, passion, and for all that God wants me to pray for. It really had an impact on me. I was a leader at a ministry conference this past weekend and I played the three minute clip by Sandy Adams for the group as the centerpiece of talking about prayer for the ministry. When it came to him explaining the sin of prayerless, there were audible gasps in my audience. I knew it struck them the same way it did me. I told them most of us pray with shallow faith, and low expectations. I challenged them to pray big and expect big. Sandy’s clip really head home. Thank you for what you do and the hours that your leaders put in to expand our understanding and application of scripture

The daily message has been impactful. The insight has been great. The lesson has been revealing and educating. I look forward to more lessons.

Today, I completed the entire Bible in chronological order, a journey that took me about three years. Each day, I aimed to read a chapter and then listen to the TTW audio guide. I’ve gone through them all, and I find this experience to be deeply emotional. What an incredible book! I’m truly grateful for the guides that helped me learn more and uncover insights I might have missed on my own. I appreciate the wisdom each teacher brings, with some resonating with me more than others. I particularly enjoyed how Pastor Kris shared different perspectives without imposing his own, encouraging listeners to explore the text for themselves. Thank you for the hard work and dedication that went into creating this app! I tell friends and family how great it is. I’m excited to see where God will lead me next in my reading journey.

I came across TTW on YouVersion and a sister in Christ read the NT-her progress was posted on YouVersion. I was looking for a daily Bible reading plan and was inspired by her faithful reading, so I clicked on her plan and found TTW-I was blessed to find something doable for me and to have a daily snippet with it. It’s blessed me so much! I’ve passed the app on to others! I’m sad Genesis is done-reading through was an adventure and in tears over it. I was absolutely in tears when I learned Pastor Kris knew Pastor Chuck Smith because Calvary Chapel was my very first church to attend on my own-the Lord led me to Calvary Chapel.

WOW!!! I have just finished Exodus and so amazed how alive it is! Peyton and Kris are gifted teachers and with humility at that. I’ve read through Exodus many times but never learned as much as I have TTW. Thank you guys. What joy it was to study with you!

Revelation has always been a book that I thought was scary. That was before I truly became a Christian. I love how passionate Kris is about God’s word! He made the study of Revelation necessary and fun! It’s so important that we know and study God’s word, and this app truly helps to break down the meaning in each chapter of each book so that I can understand it. I also love how my eyes have been opened to seeing Jesus in the WHOLE Bible. Thanks for not being afraid to tackle the hard subjects that the world is trying to pass off as normal. Anyway, thanks to all involved in keeping this app going! I try to pass it on so that more people will start getting into God’s word on their own and not be afraid because they think it’s hard to understand.

I just finished listening to the book of Matthew, Peyton did an excellent job of walking us thru the book.
