Wall of Love for TTW

Just finished the Esther study for the fourth time. I love this story. The first time through it I wondered too why God was never mention. But each time I read it and listen to Kris Langham’s devotional, it accrued to me that God was there. In the silent but perfect timing. His timing. Someone once said we may have storms in our lives and God takes them away but sometimes he just holds on to us and goes through them with us. My phrase “For Such a Time as This”.

My cousin invited me to there church Top Hand cowboy church and i immediately felt at home! But after a month or so I started to go back to my old way of thinking l, always having fear in my heart and doubt in my head. Trying to fix things the way I thought it should be. I was just going through the motions, (checking the boxes) as Matt likes to say!! Then after a few weeks of that my cousin introduced me to Through the Word!!! I was listening to the Mark and the story about how the paralyzed man was lowered to the roof because the crowd was too great outside the house and when the teacher ( Mr. Langham) said that your sins are forgiven, now get up and walk. I immediately started crying and I felt pressure on my shoulders and then what felt like the only way I could describe it is my heart was getting a hug and I felt so much relief and just a calming presence it was the most absolutely best feeling I’ve ever had in my life and brought me out of a very dark place in my mind and I want to thank y’all for doing the study and the journey because it has helped me so much!!!

Thank you Kris for obeying the HOLY SPIRIT in reaching out to many through TTW. This has helped me in building my intimacy with HOLY SPIRIT, has made me disciplined in Bible study and has given me daily hunger for GOD'S WORD. Rev. 5 and Rom 8 are my best take in journey 2 I share with my friends in WhatsApp and also in our physical Bible study meetings

It has taught me the importance of respecting those in higher positions and praying for them, even when I don't agree with their decisions.

I love it it's awesome like you said it's not a personal things that I didn't understand about God and I'm so awesome for the bible plan I'm thankful for journey of the word is without them I would not understand the Bible and I'm so appreciated I use you guys and YouVersion also I just need Jesus and I want him to know who I am I have such a struggle for the most of my life I can't get into my story but God knows I just want to thank you so much

I’m on medication for anxiety. I’m a PTSD veteran and there are many vets like me. Psalm 139 has always brought me comfort, but I have more appreciation for it, thanks to this study on anxiety. Thanks. If I could ask one thing of you, it would be that you pray for peace. Too many of our young people end up with their lives in shambles due to their service to the military. It doesn’t have to be.

TTW is now a blessing and what I call a good habit replacing a bad habit (sloth). I start every morning listening/reading TTW 2 or 3 chapters and it’s like I need this to start off my day with Jesus so that I stay grounded all day, (24 hours - hard to do for me) and in the word carrying his message to others. I share the app info with family, friends, and strangers. All three are important and it is with strangers, it seems, I get the “wild untamed organic responses” if that makes sense. Love TTW and Thank You for being a big part of my connection and growing relationship with Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior! ✝️🙏

TTW has helped me immensely to understand the Bible more in detail. I Now understand more about the culture of the Jewish people. I love this study of eschatology and I have studied The book of Revelation. I have also read other books regarding prophecy. Reviewing the book of Daniel and listening to Kris explain each chapter has refreshed and reminded me of what I have learned in the past. I have shared TTW app with many friends with the hopes that they enjoy it as much as I do.

I grew more understanding of lent. Through this study,my fast was of SM, & it is something I will continue doing. My God time is very important & being able to practice Jesus' words is something I want others to see so they too will want to do the same. Jesus is Lord!

Just finished Journey and looking forward to it! Pastor Kris, your commentary is so straight forward and easy to understand. I appreciate allow you and how you always say this is my opinion but study and come to your own conclusions. Many pastors don't do that which is quite sad! Thanks!

I wake up, make the bed and clean up first thing. Then without doing a thing, without touching other media, which is an addiction, I listen to TTW with my coffee before life begins. 👍 In retirement and a good bit of depression loosing my sence of purpose, TTW has been a good begining to the start of each day more than my coffee! LOL (OK, not funny) But truthfully it is my light in a dark world of destructive news from media (hey, I'm old, thats how we are in aging) not the good old days" that we seem to remember! TTW give me a reminder of what I knew and refreshes all the thing this old mind forgot daily! Amen

For as many years as I've been in church, I feel like I learn more about the Bible through TTW. I have really enjoyed listening to it.

This plan has changed my understanding the Bible and I can get to understand the Bible well, encourage reading it daily especially on faith and rules.Thank you,I to continue with the Bible plan and teach others.

I found Science and the Bible to be a great resource. I feel as if I can speak to non-believers who base their unbelief on “scientific truth” by offering some strong arguments and helping them see that it is not an “either/or” topic. I will remember to temper my words with love. Thanks!

This has been just yummy! I’m a children’s pastor and need chew food for my soul. This did that. I have recommended this to my church.

The daily reading plan and guide are very helpful. As we read and learn the Word, we realize we are getting to know Jesus Christ better. We don't yet know Him as fully as we should, and we will never finish the journey of knowing Him.

Every morning at 5:30 on the dot my Through The Word app notifications tell me it’s time for the word and it’s time to pray. Yes I go to church and I have a relationship with God but there was a spirit of procrastination that I go to war with every morning but not anymore. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by (Through The Word) the word of God. I can listen and read alone and with my wife and I have peace throughout my day.

TTW has brought me closer to Jesus. Has brought me deeper into my "understanding" of the Word. I feel rejuvenated in my soul when I spend time learning about Jesus. I have started on the New Testament and intend to make my way through the bible with TTW

I was having trouble reading the bible, and understanding it. Then I saw this app on Facebook. I now listen every night, and fill like a part of Gods church.....thank you all!

The book of Romans helped me to overcome addictions, shame and condemnation. This plan of Romans made he realize that my sin is not who I am. I am healed by The stripes of Jesus. God’s grace is the gift that freed me from my sin. And I no longer need to feel condemned for my sin because it was all put on Jesus at the cross. I’m a new person so I drop the clothes of sin and put on the cloak of righteousness that Christ has given us with His Grace.

I've known more about Jesus Christ. tell you frankly, it is difficult for me to understand the Bible but bec. of this TTW plan I know who Jesus is and what He wants for us. I am willing to use me to proclaim or to share with my friends and my Family the Word of God I hope God will provide me and to help me to give me more knowledge and wisdom to know His Word.

This whole chapter speaks to so much that is going on in my life right now as a mother in a blended family with teenagers, tempers, temptations, and I am thankful that God inspired me to explore this chapter during this chapter in my life. I appreciate all the additional context, including the B sides.

I loved this plan. It gave me a new perspective and deeper insight on scriptures I have read many times before. It truly came to life. My fight song comes from the Psalms, His love endures forever. I saw the journey of the individuals who wrote the songs. I saw the kings lives in 2 Chronicles who failed at one thing, to seek God wholeheartedly. And I understood the heart of the prophets warnings.

Through the word is an absolute blessing to me. I finally found a way to read the Bible and understand it. It helps me concentrate more on what God is saying to me. Everywhere I Go and everyone I meet I ask people if they read the Bible and if they do I tell them about this app and I asked them to do the same. I pray that through the word will help more and more people everyday. Thank all of you for putting this together.

It has given me time to listen to and hear from God without necessarily sitting down. I never imagined it possible. Am in the Proverbs. It's eye opening. It has given me a new angle on meaning of Proverbs I am yet to share. But I shall

I am growing each day in the word because of this Bible app. I look forward to reading the word every day plus my understanding of the Bible is much better, it's no longer feels like torture reading the Bible. Before, it was boring and I hardly understood what I was reading, this time I read the entire Leviticus and it was not boring. Now the thing that keeps awake a night is the death of sons of Aaron what did kind of incense did they burn that made God strike them. Anyway I am sure when the time comes I surely understand. I never would have understood all that Ecclesiastes encapsulates without the expert guidance of Kris Langham. What a great, thought-provoking ride this book has been. God bless you and your staff for an incredible, illuminating ministry. (I've tackled the entire New Testament with Through the Word, and am now studying the Old Testament, which had always been tough for me to understand, 'til now.)

TTW has opened my heart more to the word of jesus christ and has help show me what is expected of of me as a follower of jesus christ and made me feel that the LORD is truly working on my heart and giving me my personal direction on the path that needs to be taken and shared with others to inherit the free gift offered for eternal life ! I just finished Esther. Wow that was exactly what I needed for such a time as this. I see Gods finger in all that has happened. He has turned what seemed impossible into joy

Makes me want to be a better servant each and every day. I do not want to miss the new earth and heaven with my Father God (who guides, protects and provides), with my Lord Jesus (who has saved me by dying on the cross FIR me!) and the Holy Spirit (with continuous reminders to do good & push me to walk like Jesus.). I'm thankful for the help you are offering to me to read the word of God. I'm greatly encouraged to listen as faith comes by hearing. In the evenings im so exhausted so at least this system helps me a lot. 🙏👑❤️❤️

It has been a refreshing experience with vivid expression of the Biblical text which helped shed more light on so many aspect that was not really clear. Also Pastor Chris thank you for the way you handle difficult passages that are capable of causing confusion amongst people of different faiths and denominations

My mother used to say that verse 5 a lot. It made me very mad at the time because I was lost, but now I say to my children! That's a great verse.

I am reminded and inspired to always be ready and awake for the coming of Jesus. Continue to resist all the distractions of this world .

I have recently read through the book of Acts and have found it exciting and challenging. The last chapter-28 commentary challenges me to continue the story in my own life. Recently we - the church - are being challenged to preach or "gossip " the gospel. I pray for courage to spread the light in "my small corner " or wherever I go.

My women’s Bible study, the Mustard Seeds, shares our thoughts and comments after going Through the Word. It has really helped with our closeness as a group of Christian women.

Yes, I have been doing Journey 19 and I'm on Journey number 7. I praise God for the wonderful teaching that's being taught. It's helping me in my spiritual journey. I've shared it with my family and friends.

1 Kings is a testament to mankind’s treachery and Gods sovereignty and mercy. Our God is a great God with a plan. Learning to go to him and be obedient and listen is crucial in having a relationship with him. So many of the kings were not on track with this but the ones that were, God blessed Isreal for it. Proving He is the most wonderful God.

I love the chapter lessons. It helps me understand how we got to this point. God loves us so much that He has taken thousands of years to make us aware that we are not perfect and never will be. God uses imperfect people to accomplish His plans. He will do whatever it takes to capture the hearts of His children.

Im so happy I was able to be part of another journey. Ill admit a few were a little confusing but I broke out my Bible and that helped. Ill be awaiting the next. Thankyou so much!💜

For me this was an amazing journey to the last days in Jesus life on Earth but a wonderful dis every on how the Love of Jesus is Greater than we can imagine.. I finished this journey so grateful toHis word and I will never stop reading thank you for all you guys do to put this together for us. TTW has words I can't express it's given me hope it gives me chills but in a good way. I've just read about Daniel and it's scary of what's happening in this world today. I'm not that strong in the word of God and I don't go to church I'm sorry I hardly read my Bible TTW, but I wish to understand more about God . I know people feel far away from God like I do but I know he is there next to me and other people he never left. I am hard headed and he knows that I do sin everyday and he knows that too. This is why I am sharing this because something told me too if not I feel like I should. Honestly TTW gets me emotional but in good way. But I'm not giving up on God and on myself not sure what plan or path he has for me but no matter what happens I will always trust and love God. Thank you God And thank you TTW

I just started using this app based on a suggestion given me by my assistant pastor. I’ve only completed one chapter (Matthew) using this app. But the insights that Peyton Jones has provided throughout the study have given me a new appreciation of what is happening. I have been through the Bible many times in my life and I have learned a lot of new things about Matthew from Peyton. If just following one chapter in this app has given me so much I didn’t know, I cannot even imagine what I will know after I complete the entire study. Thank you for this product.

This was the third year I participated in “holy week“, and each year it gets better, with new insight building on the foundation of what has gone before.

Many of these lessons gave me opportunity to share with others. My teenage grandchildren enjoyed the teaching of proverbs 12. I am loving “Through the Word” It is helping me stay grounded in the word!

This study of Ruth is short but so powerful. It is a reminder of how Jesus came to buy us back just as Boaz did Ruth. The commentary with this is not to be missed, for it touches the heart.

Helped me see Christ in the Old Testament even more! Now I will probably do a teaching series on 1 and 2 Chronicles in our youth group bei see if this!

This has helped me, coz I struggle to read the bible on my own but I found a way to read God's plans and prophecies in our lives, it was a great experience and I feel drawn to God at the moment and I am gonna continue reading the word and understanding deep scriptures. Amen

My 6 year old and 8 year old have just learned the Lord's Prayer. It is great yo be able to explain to them in simplified terms how to expand the prayer in their own words to worship and surrender and fight. Thank you

I just finished the Know God bible study. I dreaded listening to Numbers, but I got a revelation from it, that surprised me. I was a very negative person in my younger 20s. I had been abused in many ways. Instead of being joyful, like I was as a child, I had become a complainer. And someone who always asked "Why Me?" I've read the whole Bible many times. The first time of reading Numbers I was shocked that God sent snakes after the people for complaining. I started on a journey to stop complaining back then. I don't complain as much as I used to. I don't ask why me. This time of reading and listening to Numbers I saw how much I had grown in my spirit and in my life in regards to this issue. I realized that if I'm complaining then I'm not trusting in God. If I'm not trusting God then I'm not Loving him like I am saying. Without trust there can be no love in any relationship. Then I started to think about how would I have acted if I was on that 40yr walk? Would I have been defending God or against God? These days I would have been defending God. Back 45yrs ago? I don't know. I have been a Christian since I was 9yrs old. I am truly thankful that I can still learn from the bible. I thank you for putting this App together. I have finished 4 studies so far. This presentation was very exciting to hear and read. I wanted to read ahead but I waited because I really needed to focus on the daily life of Jesus Christ this last week before He sacrificed himself for me. Hallelujah, Amen.
