I have love reading Colosians. I didn't know it was a short book and the love Paul had for the pple ....through the word has really helped me in reading God's message to me ..i will always be thankful to them ....and for those that donated money for me to be able to click the link when it was just an advert on YT ..... i will surely pass the kindness forward 😊

I read the book of Jonah on my own and I didn't understand why he was angry with God for having compassion on the people of Nineveh and "TTW" gave me a great understanding of it. Thank God for TTW and I pray for more grace to keep you going. And also, the story of Jonah made me aware that we can't run from the call of God. If God has called you, He will make sure you fulfill that mission.

I am greatly blessed by listening to the Bible reading. It's truly been inspiring to my soul, and it has also revived my spirit. There are times to read the Scriptures and times to listen. God bless you and provide for all your needs. Peace be unto you and your team.

.Ttw has really revealed a clearer understanding of the Word as ""A lamp onto my path". Thank you . This plan facilitates structure . From the first podcast I have started sharing what was made clear, I ultimately recommended TTW to my fellow believers.

TTW has really helped me understand how interpret the scriptures, because sometimes I would read and when I finished wouldn't understand what I've read, everything is making sense now,since I listened to TTW. Im not finished with this plan yet,but like I said ,now I can live out what Jesus wants from me, because I understand better,other times I was rebellious,now if a passage said we must submit,I can do it with ease. I haven't yet shared TTW with someone,but will do as soon as possible

Journey 3, foundations, brought me closer to God. This made me remember my own journey when I came to know Christ and the guide enabled me to rediscover God’s plan for my own life and that of my loved ones. I work swing shift and through the TTW app, I was able to start my own re-discovery og God’s word since I can listen to this and reflect during my commute or before I go to sleep. Through this app, and Pastor Chris’s commentaries, I have better understanding of each chapter. Thanks to this free app, I can deepen my understanding of the word. Hi. I began TTW last year and I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I thought the best place to start was simply to listen. The book of Daniel has deeply touched me. It gives such a clear picture of how God wants us to live our lives — not to earn salvation, but out of gratitude for the gift of eternal life. Both first and second Samuel broadened my view of God’ love and faithfulness. It’s not about what I do its about God’s enduring faithful love. Ephesains says that we might comprehend the love of God. Studying the life of David ans Samuel and Saul speaks loudly to me about God’s love, forgivness and faithful ess.

I LOVE this whole study. It is so informative and interesting. I really enjoy the teaching style of most of of the teachers. I appreciate the way most of the teachers explain in detail. It makes learning the bible very enjoyable. I've done all of the new testaments now I'm working on the old testament. Just finished 1&2Kings . It was a wonderful experience. In going through the 5 books of Psalm’s this time, they became so alive to me! With each book it all became more real. I study in the evening. I find myself going to study earlier. During a lot of my free time I find going through the physical Bible highlighting it and adding notes of what I learned through the study. A month in and the changes are sticking!

It helped break down many concepts that are difficult to grasp due to modern teachings, which often make old English hard to understand. This approach allowed me to comprehend each chapter's lesson without imposing any specific views or sect of the church. I left a job of 20 years. No, actually God did that because I would never have left on my own. God knew it was time for me to move on even though I didn't know that at the time. I asked Him what next, and the answer I got was "Go and study my Word". I found "Through the Word" and I must say that it's been wonderful getting to know Jesus and not only "knowing about Jesus". I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the teachers. Sandy goes straight to the point with his direct preaching. Chris has a gift of making things very easy to understand, TeDese is very down to earth and practical. Peyton reminds me that God also has a sense of humor. Thank you, guys, for all you do. As a high school small group leader, I challenged my girls to read through the New Testament in a year with me using TTW. About 15 girls signed up. Of course not all of them finished, but for those who did, we had a life changing experience spending time daily in the word! Knowledge was built, conversations were had, and good habits were formed. It was amazing to put what we talk about on Sunday mornings into action. Thanks for the journey!

This study of Exodus was very informative and gave me a new perspective on showing how everything in the Old Testament points to Jesus.

I have done several TTW plans and they have all been great, but the discipology plan that I just finished is by far my favorite. It not only opened my eyes to the ways I was trying to hard to force Jesus into conversations, it showed me how not to! To not strive but let Holy Spirit do the work. I have told others about this plan and the app in general because I am so excited about it; it has clear concise teachings.

I am a new listener and I just want to say that I am happy that the Lord caused me to find your app. I was looking for a Bible app to help me to get a better habit in spending time in the word of God, and this is it. My husband Scott and I started doing a daily devotional with breakfast about a year ago.At first we were just grabbing what we could find between YouTube and YouVersion. It was time consuming and very random. Then I stumbled across TTW and we knew we’d found a home. I’ve been a Christian for about 50 years. My husband is somewhat newer to it. Together we have learned so much in our daily studies! Everything is laid out so well and in an engaging and often entertaining way. Recently we’ve been working our way through the Journeys. I almost switched to a different plan at first because I was afraid it would be too boring for my husband and he wouldn’t be as engaged. But the Holy Spirit has kept him engaged and interested. God is so good! I’d love to see more on marriage, addiction, and marital roles. We have a lot to learn about living a Godly marriage. As the “older” Christian I spend way more time in the driver’s seat than I should. Keep up the great work! We look forward to what’s yet to come! ❤️

Through the Word, I have fallen in love with reading the Old Testament, gaining a better understanding of what was happening and how it applies to my life. It all comes down to remembering God's goodness and making a choice to serve him. It's the answer to every problem.

My grandmother inspired me when I was much younger to read through the Bible. While I did it I struggled with what I was reading. When I retired several years ago I discovered the TTW app from the Bible app. Going chapter by chapter then book by book I began to truly understand it. Learning, listening, reading via your app has transformed my life. I taught students for years about a Bible I didn’t fully understand. I tell people who are struggling with their own Bible study to use the TTW app. I’m close to completion of reading and understanding the Bible all the way through. Our God is AMAZING. Thank you

The account of Job is a rear peep into the supernatural. Job was caught right in the middle of it all, but he had no idea why. Very often, I wonder why. However, I have learnt the question to ask is who? And the answer to that is God!

First I would like to thank our Lord for His grace and mercy making me alive in Christ. I would never appreciate the works of TTW if I didn’t crave for His word. TTW helped me in many ways: listen and hear His Word in the convenience of technology, dive in a little to the notion and context of the chapter and the book, learn life principles that I could apply in real life. I am from Philippines and I enjoy hearing God’s Word. Specific to the book of Job, i realized that it is not always important to know the why’s of life but rather The Who. That the Lord is Sovereign and all wise and all powerful, and righteous and good. Putting them all together, I could trust Him that no matter what is going on, He has something better for me though I may not know it while passing through. But I need to trust Him, humble my self to Him, keep my ways pure, and in due time - time that only He knows, will reward me. That as I endeavor to please Him, He will be glorified. I too am in the trial zone. This was since last two years ago but the life of Job seems incomparable to what I am going through. It helped me hearing day by day this book. It give me that push to carry on one day at a time. Thank you very much TTW. It means a lot to me, in my journey. Keep it up. Pray for me please. Probably will share more details when this is through. Best things are yet to come by Grace and by His power. Amen

I have been a Christian for decades. This is the best training I’ve ever gone through to help me feel equipped to get out there and to bring more disciples to Jesus. Thank you for the work that you put into it. No doubt it was God inspired. I am very grateful.

I just finished studying the Book of Joel with Melanie Hurlbut, and I’ve always found the concept of the Day of the Lord a bit confusing. But Melanie did a fantastic job of explaining it. As she unpacked it, she clarified the meaning for me: the Day of the Lord is like a double-edged sword—it’s both a call to judgment against evil and a call to repentance, showing us how to turn back to God. At the same time, it promises God’s blessing, deliverance, and the outpouring of His Spirit. As Melanie walked me through this, I realized that this isn’t just a message for God’s people—it’s an invitation to all nations, to every ordinary person, even me.

I learned that JESUS did not died for himself but came to redeem us back to himself. Also giving us power over the devil. And all souls belong to GOD.

Just finished the book of Esther and for me it solidifies that God is always there working on our behalf even if it doesn't feel like it or look like it our Father in heaven is faithful and true he is the same yesterday today and forever! My husband and I heard about Through the Word (TTW) from a very good friend. He listens to it every day. I was talking to him one day about how I have a hard time reading and understanding the bible. It just didn't make a lot of sense to me, and I didn't enjoy it. That is when he shared TTW. It has been a true blessing to my husband and me. My husband and I both questioned our faith over 35 years ago. We seldomly went to church and we didn’t read the bible. One day, my husband heard me listening to TTW and he started to become interested. I invited him to listen with me, and it blossomed from there. We LOVE the way that Kris explains the bible. He makes it understandable and he is easy to listen to. We are so thankful for TTW. From listening to TTW, we were inspired to give church another try. We found a wonderful church and the first visit I raised my hand and said I want God in my life. We continued listening to TTW and went to church a few more times. I am SO very happy to say that my husband raised his hand and said he wants God in his life too! I did not think that was going to happen. We had lost faith for so long. TTW has changed our lives. We listen every day and discuss it afterwards. We are learning and truly enjoying it. Kris makes us laugh too. We are SO thankful for this very important change in our lives that we decided to donate to TTW. TTW is doing such great work! Thank you for providing this so that we could find God again. The Discipology sessions were wonderful, very encouraging and uplifting. I had a sense that ‘I can do this’. I am semi-retiring soon – and moving to a large retirement village with a friend who already lives there. She has also completed bible college. I also have an old boss who is a Christian song writer and he is willing to assist as well. Hopefully, we will have lots of testimonies to share with you. I also wanted to encourage others with the below testimony. Testimony, that may be helpful to use to encourage others – as it is about waiting on the Lord. On the bible college missions trip to North Queensland Australia - aboriginal community, we had all prayed for his divine appointments. And each one of us operated in this trust. At the first meeting on Monday evening, we were told to wait for the Lord to direct us to who we should talk to. I waited quite a while but then saw a middle-aged woman and knew I needed to talk to her. I listened to her issue and prayed and then asked her to pray herself. I came back to her about 15 minutes later and I ministered to her again. She was having issues with her daughter – who had recently turned 18. After our prayer she was encouraged. On the Wednesday evening, I again waited on the Lord to direct me, and again it took a while. This time I was directed to a younger lady. Again, I listened to her and prayed for her. I then had a chat to the local pastor’s wife and she sensed there was more work involved yet. I let her sit and pray for a while and then the Lord directed me back to her. She was more receptive the second time and I sensed she had found some peace. Then the shock – only the Lord can direct such a circumstance! A few minutes later, she was in the arms of her mother, and both were crying and hugging. They were the mum, I had ministered to and the young lady I ministered to. If we allow the Lord to direct us in this Discipology – we will also see successful outcomes. Praise the Lord.

I just finished 2 Samuel 22-24. I have never once thought about how to see myself in Jesus. Thank you Skip. Thank you God!

This journey through Numbers taught me to keep my heart and mind on Lord Jesus and not to wonder off from Him and to follow His plan for me because He knows what is best for me.

TTW was the tool that God used to finally.....finally.....got His Word firmly and consistently rooted into my heart and stoked the fire in my heart for Jesus. I grew up in a Christian household and watched my father, in particular, study his Bible faithfully every day of his life. I always wished I had that kind of relationship with God, but I just....didn't. My own journey was full of false starts and inconsistency, doing things my way. I found TTW right around the time my dad died and I started listening while waiting in line to pick my son up from school. That expanded to the drive to school, from school, on walks in the neighborhood, and getting ready for the day. Soon I was telling my mom, husband, and sisters about the app. My mom is doing plans every day now too. I've moved on to studying my Bible directly and with other tools in addition to TTW, but this is where it started. The Word of God is so alive to me now, and TTW is the tool God used to nurture that. It has been such an absolutely incredible blessing for me.

It has help me be more consistent and listen to Jesus. It also has enabled me to be intentional through a plan and to remind me where i am at in my word intake. When i get an opportunity i share with others as one of the methods of helping someone be consistent.

I’ve not been into studying the Word for a very long time. When my two asked me to join her along this road, I knew I should do it…and so did God. This Discipology has restored my deepest need to become reconnected with our Lord and to reach out to those closest to me to show them the way to salvation. I am changed in the deepest way possible. TTW has become a habit. TTW & experience of GOD’S word everyday, it’s hard to explain but I can’t start my day without it. I want to learn more about THE FATHER THE SON & HOLY SPRIT. I searched all the time.

TTW, the book of Acts, has been informative in explaining how the church started, the huddles they went through, and how being strong in the Lord and encouragement from one another kept them going. I can relate as a Christian, and I pray that the church today learns from this book to overcome its various problems and wrangles. In Jesus's name, amen. Thank you so much!

I found the plan on ‘John’ with Peyton Jones, truly wonderful… I found that it really helped me understand the journey of Christ and His relationship with His disciples. I found Peyton to be sensitive when it needed it, as a plan that reflects the price our Lord paid for our sins. Whilst injecting humour in the right way. It made me feel closer to the Lord listening and understanding, recognising nuances I may not have appreciated before. Thank you Pastor Peyton, may you be continually blessed as you work for the Kingdom. The Discipology study was just amazing. I know God guided me to it, and the steps in training with the help of the Holy Spirit have empowered me and my “2” to step out with purpose for the Lord! I totally recommend this study.
