My husband and I are very new in our spiritual journey. The TTW app has been another tool in that journey, encouraging us to begin each day with the practice of hearing/reading the Bible. That daily practice serves as a reminder to be grateful for all that I have, to turn to prayer when I feel anxious or unsettled, and to seek and speak of the good in people.

I’m super grateful for this app, I’ve been struggling to study the word of God for years, I am a believer yet I struggle with studying and remembering the words in the scriptures until I search through TikTok for apps that can help people like me to understand the word in my own understanding so it can stick and then I found Through The Word (TTW) i just finished the books of mark and Colossians, i now understand the life of Jesus in these chapters, His motives, reasons, intentions and I remember everything. I am off to the next plan and I am excited and expectant… Pst. Kris Langham is the best word teacher I have ever heard, he drives it to the core reality of the Christian believer, and any generational type can understand his teachings…!keep making this App free please. I have also shared with my friend. Good bless you all.

This passage renewed my faith that God is still God even when faced with adversity.

This plan has made Scripture clearer, especially Daniel. I really enjoyed it. While teaching Connect Group I have included the website for TTW in my handouts and told the class repeatedly that TTW is an excellent way to increase their knowledge of Scripture and their walk with Jesus.

Help me stay consistent. Every plan gave me so much clarity in the Bible. I’ve started several group journeys with my friends.

I have been gifted faith by God. I simply cannot do it without Him. Knowing Jesus has sacrificed for a man like me can only give me hope. Incredible!

This is my first time finishing a plan in TTW, and I’ve never felt more alive in my faith. I’ve been going to church ever since I was a baby, but never have felt this good in my faith as I do now. I really understand the “made new” aspect that I always hear in the bible and in church. I always thought I was made new and a new creation, but now I look back and realize I’ve never taken it as seriously as I should have. I feel like im on a new chapter in my life and in my faith/ journey with God, and i cannot wait to see where that takes me. Just with the “Faith” plan in TTW I’ve gotten so much more confident in my faith. Thank you to everyone who has put TTW together

Science in the Bible comments: This study has been very eye opening and answers many questions I have had. I would love to have a corresponding text sheet in the study that has the questions for each day and lists out resources or things we can look up to do our own research. Same thing for the marriage courses, which was an EXCELLENT study. I have recommended it several times with others. My family (husband, and 2 young adult children) started reading the Bible together at the start of 2025. The plan I picked was a great plan through YouVersion, but completed the entire plan in a year. My son dropped out after 3 months because he couldn't keep up with his work schedule. The others said the fast pace didn't allow them to really comprehend what they were reading. This year, we (minus my son) started Through the Word's Journeys plan and they love the pace and the detailed learning. Thank you, so much!

I have read the bible several times over but this is my first time rereading the bible via TTW. The explanation and teachings have opened my eyes to more secrets in God's word. Just completing Psalms and I have learned a lot and my understanding of the book of Psalms has increased tremendously. Thank you for the work. If there is a need to translate the teachings into Bahasa, please let me know via the email below. Thank you.

I have an agnostic grandson that is a little open to god but has many questions, I thought this was a GREAT listen for him, I sent him a couple of episodes, and he said he would listen, I pray that he does, and becomes more open to believing, I think because of your great way of talking, he would have a chance. Thank you for this series, and for all you do!

My name is Apostle James Ejeh from Nigeria. I just finished listening to the audio guide to the book of Genesis and I must say there's so much that I had learned from this book. I had read the book of Genesis more than 20 times before but I have never caught much revelations as I did listening to this audio guide, especially the prophetic dimensions of the book. Thanks so much for this great work you are doing. May GOD continue to bless you and your ministry. Amen

The book of Colossians sets the centrality of Christ in all of life and beyond. We can have confidence that Christ gives meaning to our lives and our purpose on the earth comes alive in Christ alone. In Him all things find meaning.

TTW has enhanced my daily study of scripture! I love the way Pastor Sandy Adams teaches. He breaks down each chapter and he provides great life application examples.

I accepted Christ as my savior in January 1971 and in the intervening years I've read through the Bible approx. 15 times using 5 or 6 different translations. Every so often I'd come across passages that didn't make sense or were just very difficult to understand, especially in application to my life, so I would file it under "Waiting for more information." A couple of months ago I came upon Genesis Explained in the YouVersion Bible app and some of those passages are now starting to gain traction. I found reading through the Bible in a year using The Bible Recap study, along with the daily podcast, was a wonderful experience for me, but reading the Bible one chapter a day with TTW, and having it explained by Kris Langham, is a great benefit to this aging mind of mine. 55 years is a long time to be walking with the Lord, reading His word, and still "waiting for more information." Thank you, Kris and the whole TTW team. At a chapter a day it's going to take me ~3.25 years to go through the entire Bible, but it's going to be worth it, I think.

I think I'll have to listen to this over and over again. There is just too much in every verse to absorb. Funny how the living word hits home. (and I think "not funny" may be a much better thought)

My 2 sisters and I do a Bible plan together through You Version. Sometimes I read a chapter and I don’t quite understand it.TTW brings clarity. By studying Exodus I have been able to see why the church I belong to is built the way it was built, why our pastor wears a robe, why we have the candles placed where we do, Thank you

The True the Word app is truly exceptional. I absolutely love the insightful commentary and explanations provided by the founder, Kris, which deepen my understanding of each scripture I read and listen to. The availability of multiple Bible versions is fantastic, allowing me to switch between them for richer insights during my studies. I genuinely appreciate everything about this app; it transforms Bible reading into a more enjoyable experience, especially for the parts and chapters that once felt 'boring' or difficult to grasp. I just finished the Foundations series—covering Genesis, Daniel, and Romans—and what a remarkable journey it has been! The lessons and explanations are clear, and my understanding has significantly improved. I will continue to share this app with as many people as I can, believing they will benefit from it as well. A big well done to the entire team! May God continue to bless and uplift you all as you labor in love, in Jesus' name. 🙏🏽

I have been utilizing TTW for about a year now. In that time of seeking God through this Bible app, it has given me a desire and willingness to devote more time to reading my Bible. I love listening to those of you that speak the devotionals. Your hearts are always warm, welcome and energetic. I hope to one day be able to return to you what God has given me through your app and pray that hearts are touched in many areas of the world.

I am amazed to learn that the book of Isaiah is like the Bible itself, having 66 chapters and ending like the bible ended in the last four chapters of the book of Revelation.

The study on temptation has opened my eyes to look my walk with God differently. I always thought that facing temptation meant I wasn't close to God and I had already failed to uphold his command but I now know that temptation is expected and not only does overcoming it makes us grow but stores a reward for us in heaven .Now I move different when it comes to temptation..knowing it's a battle between my flesh and my spirit, I depend on God and try my best to walk in the spirit and feed my spirit with the word of God ...and with complete surrender to God I will overcome every temptation of the evil one ...and even if I fail ..there is grace for me ...I just have to keep running back to Jesus everytime and he will save me everytime and make me stronger to face me next temptation!! God bless you and let's not give up in doing good and letting God transform our lives! God is infact the starter and finisher of our faith !!

Through The Word has been amazing. It has helped me understand the Bible like never before. I didn't realize how many familiar stories came from Genesis. Thanks to Kris, Peyton and all the other teachers for breaking the Bible down chapter by chapter so everyone can understand.

This had definitely helped our relationship in our marriage. It’s gotten us both reminded of things that we should’ve been aware of in the beginning and helps us to focus on each other’s needs.

A close friend of mine and I read through the Bible several years ago. TTW has helped me expand my knowledge of the Bible and bring me much closer to Jesus our Savior. The study of Psalms has been a real eye opener and my heart swells listening to it. I had no idea there was so much wisdom in this book. In the past I have glossed over Psalms and picked out verses that I liked but there is so much more to get out of Psalms than just verse selection. Thank you for creating this Psalm study. It has made me view this book of the Bible in a much more positive way and understanding.

As I’ve been delving into the book of Romans and just completed chapter one, I’ve found it deeply impactful on my spiritual journey. It has reminded me of the importance of recognizing both the depth of human nature and God’s grace. Reflecting on these teachings has helped me see how God has been at work in my life, guiding me to grow and offer encouragement to others around me. I hope that by sharing this, it might encourage others as well and serve as a testament to the ongoing work of faith in our lives...

Today I have completed the 19th Journey through the Bible. This marks the end of my Journey through the Bible, one chapter at a time. I am so excited to begin a new step in my venture into God's word. Thank you TTW!

I struggled in my spiritual journey before. I can't get to understand the bible until TTW. It made me experience walking along side the apostles. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. Bless TTW always...

It is really inspiring and makes me come every morning and night to learn more about what the bible is saying because it can be confusing most times. But this app really gave me clarity and sometimes vivid imagery on what is being said. God bless you for this

I really enjoyed this overview of scripture. Although I've been saved a while, I learned so much and was able to see the whole story more clearly. This is helpful for people in every stage of their walk with Christ.

Since I have started, TTW Marriage 1, I have learned to be humbled and to have humility to listen to my husband, and to create a good covenant between him and I.

I am so grateful for TTW platform for it has really helped me in reading the word of God in a more engaging and flexible aura. I used to find it hard yet I really wanted to read the word but it's now history and I always encourage others who might have similar experiences to just get the app and kickstart their journey for our spiritual growth and betterment of us all. May God richly bless you

The theme of obedience keeps registering in my spirit as I went through this study of the first book of Samuel.

Well as a new believer. This helps to set some fundamentals for my entire life and future relationships. It may also help me restore or at least revive my current relationships at home and career settings. This was definitely a helpful guide. Thank you for your support and tremendous love for the Lord. This is going to change lives . It already has changed mine. I’m going to share TTW with anyone who is willing and open to change for the good of their well being not just physically but in spirit too.

we are retired and have busy lives. Every time we have lunch at home we listen to you when we’re both together. Thank you for your insight and a little bit of humor once in a while.

TTW has been a great resource not only for reading the Bible but also for having it explained by teachers who make it interesting and fun. I started it on my own initially but invited my husband to join one of the plans. He is now using the app daily too. It keeps us motivated and engaged to choose plans together or pursue reading on our own. We love having the option to do both!

Showing me how to read the word, highlighting what stands out., not underdeviding but read it as a whole made a difference in how I understand and experience the Word. Meeting and getting to know Jesus through the Word. Awesome.

TTW has brought me even closer to God. He is an awesome God who loves us. If you don’t know him TTW is a great way to find out all about him and his love for all of us. Give it a try, what do you got to lose?

It taught me to trust in God even if I don't see the results immediately, and it also taught me the benefits of obedience.and how God shows his grace even if you don't deserve it.Genesis is an amazing book and I would read it over and over again 😁

I'm deeply grateful for the blessing of knowing God through Jesus, and this journey has been a game-changer for me. The audio was so inspiring that I listened to it multiple times, feeling energized and motivated to deepen my faith. Pastor Kris and Payton's thoughtful perspectives have helped me see the Bible in a new light, and I'm thankful for the chance to grow spiritually. Kudos to Through The Word Team for their hard work in creating this journey. My praise and gratitude go to the Lord for choosing dedicated ministers like you. Blessings, Gloria, South Carolina

TTW has given me a better understanding of parts of the Bible that was difficult for me to understand. I really enjoy studying with Pastor Chris Langley and friends. My favorite plan was the book of Proverbs as it has made me a better person, also it helped me to understand certain concepts of Proverbs that we use in our everyday lives. It was a joy studying Proverbs and I can now say it is my favorite book of the Bible. I am in my forties and I wish I had read this book from way earlier with knowledge and understanding. I think everyone should study the book of Proverbs and it would make our lives so much easier if we just follow God’s teachings. I share mostly with my mom, husband, daughter and some friends, by quoting verses or using examples of the breakdown of the verses.

TTW has helped me grow spiritually with God so much! It makes it easier to read the Bible and get more understanding out of it after I've read on my own. Thank you TTW Team, you're changing lives!

I love through the word because it helps me understand the different passages. I think the narrator was very helpful and being able to read along as well is great too. It helped me realize how caring and true Jesus was. It showed me how committed and compassionate Jesus was/is. I plan to continue reaching out to my friends to do Bible studies. This is my first time taking the time to read the Bible , I’m using ESV. I also like how they have different versions in the Bible. I’m just glad I found this app.
