My name is Amit Mehta. I am a Retail professional with over 15 years of experience in Operations & expansion of Company owned and franchise stores. The trigger to join this program in SCM was to acquire the know how's of this field and to expand my career with more opportunities in future. This course will compliment my existing profile as supply chain is an integral part of retail and knowledge of forecasting, lean supply chain and inventory management will immensely increase the efficiency of my operations. Three specific features of the program which enhanced my current profile are as below:-

1) Forecasting tools and the nuances to do so

2) Lindo lean programming

3) Knowledge of information flow in the system and how it affects the service levels.

My Name is Rahul Joshi having 11.5 years of work experience in Sales & Marketing domain. I did my master's in Marketing and International Business. After Covid - 19 pandemic the organisation in which I am currently working faced lots of issues due to supply chain disruption as we are into the import business and to solve these issues we needed to hire consulting firms and hence I decided to go for the SCM course from a reputed institute like IIT Delhi in order to sort out the existing and upcoming issues my organisation was facing. After joining this program, I learnt new tools and techniques to solve problems and then I started to implement these concepts to resolve the issues on job and I got the required outcomes which gave a boost to my profile and career and my colleagues/seniors have now started counting on me for my opinions in any supply chain related issues. I am truly and greatly satisfied with the SCM course from IIT Delhi, organized by TSW team. I am a dentist and MBA in Hospital and Healthcare working with Chain of Dental Clinics named Clove Dental which has 350 Dental Clinics in India. My role requires me to keep Inventory under control and constantly work to reduce Costs. This was the biggest trigger for me to pursue this course, and what better institute than IIT.

I am very happy to be a part of this course under the guidance of Dr. Ravi Shankar sir. I chose this course because the supply chain area is very developing in current times. I was planning to upgrade my skills to get a good knowledge in this field. In this course we were taught from basics to advance. Lots of case studies and real examples were taught which helped me to learn the concept in an easy way . Use of LINDO, heat diagram and agile management were some concepts which we were taught and I hope this will help me understand the problems and use the case studies to improve the things in real situation. The way of teaching of Dr. Ravi Shankar sir is very different. I am happy to complete this course under his guidance . This course will definitely help in career building as supply chain management is so diverse that this is being used both by govt. players as well as private players. I came across this course while browsing for SCM related certifications. Having completed my Bachelor's from India's very first Transportation University I felt this programme would be quite beneficial to me. Viola! I was right! The 20 sessions have taught me very valuable lessons and key concepts. Being a fresher, I was able to quickly adapt and do my own field research to understand how the logistics and distribution processes work in the real world. The case studies discussed and the experiences shared by my fellow batchmates triggered the zealousness to learn more. The guest faculty kept us on our toes.
