Lach's Balcony Garden Guide was a game-changer for how I viewed my garden. As I live in a terrace, I have 3 small and narrow "garden spaces."

1. Small Narrow balcony planter boxes 

2. Large pots that sit outside our place 

3. and the nature strip outside. 

I love this little plot of garden it's tiny 1m by 2m but I have so much enjoyment tending to this little strip and my neighbours have also started tending to their own nature strips each on reflects our own style and personality. 


This guide has helped me so much in framing what are the considerations I need to accept and work within to have a thriving garden. These parameters make choosing plants so much easier as I was getting overwhelmed by the choices.

I love how Lach brings a healthy challenge, a new perspective, something beautiful yet unique in concept and simple in execution. I’ve learned so much around the idea of excellence and stewardship of gardens and how one can innovate and renew spaces without uprooting all things, and see possibilities in pre existing structures, forms and life. I dabble in a few different gardens and also love to create and design, and it’s really cool to see and find new methods and ideas of what design could be through Lach's content and projects. Your design solutions and creations remind me of kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken things (spaces in this context) and repairing them with precious material, it’s not hiding the imperfections but restoring and it and finding beauty in the story of form and textures.
