Had my wedding dress altered and was perfect also checked over the dress for me to check for any loose buttons and sorted them if there was . Alison actually made my prom dress over 12 years ago ! Only person I’ll trust to do alterations!

After deciding last minute I wanted to have my bridesmaid dress taken up, Alison got me in and has done an amazing job with my dress. We went to Alison for my daughter’s prom dress as my daughter had seen one online and I knew it was different and we’d never never find it anywhere so decided to get it custom made. Alison was brilliant, there was nothing that Alison couldn’t do. She spoke at length with my daughter and I and showed us materials and colours on the very first appointment where she measured her and talked her through all the stages. I thought I’d taken away the experience of my daughter trying on loads of prom dresses like her friends but seeing the dress being made and having 4 fitting appointments was so much better and made it that little bit more special. Alison is lovely. She’s so professional, but also puts that little bit of a personal touch to your visit which made us feel more at ease during fitting appointments. Prices are fair and absolutely value for money! Service is second to none. I’d definitely recommend Alison and I would return in the future for other occasions

I went to see Alison with my mum and sister 3 months before my wedding to discuss having a maid of honour dress designed and created for my sister after failing to find the colour and style we liked anywhere else. At the first meeting she listened to our ideas and within minutes had a sketch drawn up of the perfect dress. She also showed us different colour swatches and went out of her way to order and pick up the material which we chose. Additional to this, she altered the length of my wedding dress and advised me to get a petticoat to ensure the dress was shown off to its full potential. Every subsequent meeting was arranged at times that suited us and Alison was always organised and had everything ready for us to try on. Her advice and knowledge kept us all reassured and we knew our dresses were in good hands! When it came to my big day the feedback from my family and friends about the maid of honour dress were so positive and it's all down to Alison's hard work. I can't recommend Alison enough for any deign or alterations.

Alison has altered my wedding dress recently for me and done a brilliant job. From start to finish, I felt the whole process was great and Instantly felt confident and as though I was understood in what it was I wanted my dress to be like. Alison made some alterations to a dress I'd recently bought. The original hemline was all over the place and the halterneck fitting gaped around the underarms. Alison did a great job of perfecting both, I tried the dress on before and after and I'm very pleased with the result. A friendly and professional service, thankyou.

I went to Alison after seeing her heavily recommended on Facebook and I'm so glad that I did. She gave me so much advice on my wedding dress and made all the alterations that were needed, which was a lot! You just wouldn't have a clue looking at the dress that it'd been completely taken apart, it looks and fits great. Alison also did the same for my fiancé's dress and she's very happy with hers too. Amazing! I had lost hope with getting some alterations to some wedding dresses for a wedding that had been brought forward. Alison was so honest and very helpful when it came to advising me on the dressss and what they needed. She was also very affordable, and did the work extremely efficiently, which I didn't expect since I had come in quite short notice. I would definitely recommend, and will definitely take my dresses there to be altered again.
