I studied with Anushka mam for Level B1 at Alliance Française for almost 3 months, and it was genuinely one of the best learning experiences I've had. Even though we were following a fixed textbook, she made sure we experienced French as a language to be lived, not a subject to be memorized like mathematics. The biggest difference is her attention to each individual student. In a batch of 20 students, she still had a clear sense of each person's strengths and weaknesses, and she used that to tailor how she explained things — something most online courses, with their one-size-fits-all video lessons, simply can't do. The best part was how easy she made every topic feel through practical, real-life examples. I feel truly privileged to have learned French with Anushka Ma’am. Before joining her, I had already spent around 7–8 months learning with an online tutor, but I still struggled a lot with writing and didn’t know how to improve. With Ma’am, the change has been drastic. She made writing feel so much smoother and easier, and the way she explains things is so simple that you actually remember what she teaches. One of the biggest things she taught me was to think in French instead of translating from English, which completely changed the way I approach writing. She also made us practise writing regularly in class. At the time, we sometimes wondered how it would help when we didn’t even know what or how to write, but everything finally made sense on the day of my exam. I can genuinely see the difference between my writing before and after learning with her, and I’m attaching pictures of my errors to show that progress. I have never seen a more calm and patient teacher when it comes to correcting my mistakes (which i used to make a lot when it comes to grammar). Online classes never felt so real with her encouragement to speak french without pressurising her students is in a different league than translating it in mother language and hindering one’s learning process. When I saw you in the first class, I knew learning French would be exciting . You had a different aura in every class and I cannot forget the expressions you made to make us learn easier, even I learnt them a bit. Although I am familiar with some words while I learnt French online before coming here, definitely there is a difference and that was the usage of the words, phrases and expressions which I couldn’t do while learning online but a bit I can now. The best thing is that we didn’t just made notes you made us adapt to it. When I was earning online, learning French was not that helpful as I couldn’t make sentences, I only knew the words but after coming here I can describe any place, my schedules etc, so personally learning French offline was much helpful than online. I am filled with immense appreciation at your dedicated, creative and engaging style of teaching, interspersed with excellent examples, anecdotes and interesting facts. Your passion for teaching shines through and clearly reflects on your visage. To the extent that, even on days when you had been overworked and fatigued, your inherent enthusiasm for teaching remained undiluted. In a class there are always a few students who, by nature, are reserved or a little hesitant to participate. I have always appreciated your goading and encouraging of such students to interact more. You display empathy and understanding and your natural inclination to attempt to accommodate everyone's specific constraint, problem or engagement, compel special mention. I would specially like to make mention of a point relating to your perfect french diction, specifically your impeccable articulation of the formidable french 'r'. It is indeed a remarkable achievement for a person whose native language does not have that sound at all ! Evidently you have invested a lot of time and effort in mastering the pronunciation as well as acquiring the other finer nuances of the language. I signed up for the A1.1 weekend batch, which was one of the most fruitful uses of my weekends. The pedagogy used by Anushka is very effective. Bonjour! Madame Anushka has been a mentor and a guide through every step of my french language journey. Our first encounter was during Niveau A2 when I was pursuing the course from Alliance Française de Chandigarh. She really dives in-depth into the learning experience and practically applies her own experience from when she was a student - all the points she felt needed to be covered, the basics which students have trouble understanding or even preparing for DELF/DALF. She's extremely friendly and patient and will excercise multiple ways to teach a concept that helped me understand the language logically. If anyone is interested in learning the language from scratch, I'd say join her classes sans hésitation because in the end you'll gain the knowledge on the basics of the language which will fundamentally help you clear higher levels as well. You'll love her frank, on point, and clear approach to french learning.

Madame Anushka’s classes are unique in the sense that they are highly interactive and keep you on your toes. This leaves no room for complacency or monotony in the lessons especially if those are online. Her passion for languages in general is clearly visible through the command she has over all languages. In order to help get a point across, she has the ability to provide examples across different languages to help one understand. The manner in which she engages the class also helps in learning the language quickly, with a perfect blend of both reading and phonetics. The confidence with which she teaches inspires and motivates one to continue learning the language even further. Albeit I couldn’t continue learning enough French to help me professionally due to paucity of time. It did, however, help me personally in socialising and communicating with fellow Francophiles!

Madame Anushka was our first teacher who introduced A1 to us (a class of 16 students). Initially, we were all scared of French, as it was a completely new language to us. Mam, my experience learning French with you in A2 level has been really wonderful so far. I really appreciate the way you explain every concept so clearly and patiently, especially grammar and pronunciation, which initially felt difficult to me. I especially liked when you made us write paragraphs using both imparfait and passé composé, because it helped me understand the difference between them much more clearly. I like that you explain things with simple examples and give us practice in class instead of just teaching the topics.
