I chose to do the 15 week course from being based in the UK. Before the course I have been invested in an ISA and pension, but honestly, I didn't have the in depth knowledge of what it is that I was invested in, at least not at a deep level. Even though my existing investments are doing well, I wanted to be able to invest myself, but didn't want to do anything without having any knowledge or strategy in place. I didn't trust myself to not lose the money. Andy's course has helped me to understand the markets, to form my own opinion on what is being said in articles and media about the world and what it's impact could be on my portfolio. I feel like I now have an opinion to base my investments on. Andy has helped quieten the inner villain in my mind, so that I can think calmly and rationalize my thoughts on what to invest in. With this four days I learnt that investing is not only a longer term thing but it's essential to have an structured plan. Like for example adding a fixed quantity each month. Also, it was very important for me what Andy told is about diversification. I've always thought that with a bunch of different stocks I would have enough diversification and now I see that I was really wrong. What really stood for me is that Andy showed us what we can expect with real numbers, that is is not getting rich in one year that we have to be realistic and don't be fooled by scammers. I live in Denmark. Retired mikrobiologisk. My new funktion is Qi gong instructor.. i am 67 years. I not really looked into investments because I un early age started building up for my retirement. A certain sum was taken from my salary every month. During the years the papers were evaluated to ensure that the risk was ok with my work situation. But then I listened to a person who I believed in.. if I invested a certain sum in something he recommended he ensured me that my money would grow faster than in my bank.. i believed in him as nant others in the company did... But suddenly we could not draw out the money🙈. I had during a period invested more than good in something that not gave back anything. In almost 6 month the bank kept all my monthly salary and I could not pay my bills... Now fear came into my life. My good economy was suddenly changed to crash. In the age of 66 that was an eye opener.. how could I let it go so far.. I have traded forex as well. Also with loses. I have listened to the wrong people too many times. My biggest aha in this masterclass was to see how you can put together your portfolio to secure growth and especially to see that a product with high risk combined with the right partners actually could lower the total risk of the investment.. thats big. And after this experience I know that with Andys system i can build my portfolio without fear of loosing more money.. Now I feel I am ready to learn more. He passes on decades of finance knowledge, Wall Street experience with gentleness and awareness of a new mother. He truly cares! His courses are designed really well designed to cut out noise, focus on key parts, ample of exercises to help us learn within the time period of the course. I decided to take Andy's course because the way he explained the methodology was very easy and FUN to understand.
