I have been using Yoast SEO for a long time. I will always recommend Yoast to a client when setting up their new website. It's very easy to use. Yoast SEO has helped us spread the word to everyone we work with about how important SEO is. Thank you!

Yoast has always been my best friend as a WordPress theme developer and website owner. I have tested and tried many other similar SEO plugins but I would always go back to Yoast. The reason is that Yoast is compatible regardless of the changes you make to your website. One important thing I have to mention is related to redirections. I once migrated my main website to a subdomain and I was not using Yoast to handle redirections. After the migration, the old plugin stopped creating automatic redirection and this issue was solved by using Yoast. There are many other functionalities that stop working on other plugins when you change to a subdomain. However, Yoast is always a reliable plugin that works on any WordPress site.

I always found Schema.org to be interesting with both, application and further usage potential. Having your website explained platform-agnostically will prove to be priceless. With Yoast Free plugin you get everything you need for simpler websites. I did, as a developer, had a chance to sneak into Pro version code and I can tell you one thing: if your website needs more than just a basic Schema.org, do not hesitate and buy that Pro. It'll be worth it.
