PTL! This week I witnessed strong leadership in action. A senior leader stood behind our team and encouraged us to uphold quality by rejecting incomplete work. In a place where political pressures often push for favours and shortcuts, this was courageous integrity that exceeded anything I hoped for. She's shielding us from blame and chose to carry the weight herself, holding others accountable when they're not doing their parts. Let's keep praying for integrity in our leadership to makes space for His goodness and will to shine in Brunei! 🙌

A few weeks ago, I hosted a 3-day dining event with a guest chef. To be honest, I didn't know if people would show up. We didn't do much advertising on social media, and I was unsure about the turnout. On top of that, I had to travel and couldn't be there to host the event myself! In times like that, it's easy to worry. But I remembered what the Bible says: when you don't know what to do, ask God. Keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking. I made a choice to let God be in control. I trained my team, trusted them to step up, and handed the outcome over to God. I said, "Lord, You know everything, and I trust You." I chose to thank Him for the opportunity, no matter what happened. God was so good to us. The team handled everything wonderfully, and seats kept filling up until we reached 100% occupancy over all 3 days! God proved that He is faithful, even when we aren't there to hold everything together. God is so good and all glory to God.

Earlier last week, I woke up having a sore left arm after possibly sleeping in the wrong position. The pain persisted for a few days, and I couldn’t extend it normally - even carrying my daughter was challenging. Yesterday during the altar call, Ps Ling called for healing and specifically mentioned joints. I took the step of faith and started slowly stretching and extending my left arm. It was still painful earlier that morning, but at that moment, the pain reduced and I was able to extend it! Throughout the day, the pain lessened and mobility was much better. This morning as I woke up, I realized that I had absolutely no pain in my left arm whatsoever! I was able to pick up my daughter as usual without any discomfort! I am so grateful for God’s healing and how He cares for us more than we could ever know, and God moving powerfully in our service 🥹

I woke up yesterday with a very very very sore back. I could barely bend down or even walk, without feeling a deep discomfort in my back. I had to work a 24 hour shift, so I took some strong medication and hoped it would ease the pain. Unfortunately, through out the day and when I woke up in the morning after my shift, I still had the same pain. I felt sad. And I simply asked God to take away the pain. I forgot about it until during praise, when God prompted me and asked how my back was. And I was shocked because THERE WAS NO MORE PAIN! Praise the Lord! God is so good!

So recently after I moved schools, I was struggling with BM, MIB and Ugama. I was so confused on almost every subject since I am new to them. My BM teacher then was very mean to me and it scared me all the time. Then, soon came my student report and my results were not what i expected. I looked at my results for BM, MIB, and Ugama I failed them all three. I told Caroline about it and she said a prayer for me and told me to pray over it all the time. So i listened and prayed and prayed about my BM teacher being mean and my results. Over these few months, i showed progress through my work. My BM teacher recommended me to buy a dictionary so that i wont get stuck in every question that was in malay. My dad told me to always ask the teacher about the questions that i dont understand. I improved a lot, my BM teacher became much nicer. And soon came my second exams. I read every questions i saw then it felt so much easier than before. I answered every question with faith, knowing that i will answer most of then correctly. Soon, it was after exams, and my teacher handed my test paper to see my results and it was very good as a beginner. My second paper was a 67% and thought that it was funny so i showed my classmates about it. Then my teacher soon brought up about how i surpassed some of my classmates with my marks. Then a few months later, it was PTM where i received my results and it turns out, i changed from an E+ to a C. It was an amazing change for me. As a person who found BM very hard, began to start to find BM quite easy now. Then for my MIB, i got from a E- to an D- and for my Ugama, i improved by 20 marks which was 24 to 44 percent. When my class teacher saw my results for BM, he was also surprised that i have improved in my results. Then i was like , "Praise God! For He has done amazing things for me and has changed my marks on the subjects that i was struggling with." Thank you so much Jesus for improving my studies. Amen!

Recently, my direct manager and her manager came to Brunei to do a field visit with me. They would be observing me individually—how I conduct myself, how I engage with my customers, and how I apply the selling skills I had been trained in. Now, my manager's manager used to be my training manager, and she is known to have a very keen eye for detail. She is known to be hard to please and to nit pick. So naturally, when I found out that she was coming all the way to Brunei to individually observe us, I became quite nervous. I knew there would be nothing I could do to control the outcome. I could overthink, worry, or put unnecessary pressure on myself. But instead, I decided to surrender it to Jesus. I prayed, gave it into His hands- I'm just going to keep doing what I normally do and trust Jesus with the rest. After the field visits, we had our debrief and feedback session. And surprisingly, the feedback was very positive. I was waiting, and even prompting her, for the other shoe to drop. But it never came.  She was happy with me and shared something that stayed with me. She told me that she loves the energy that I carry. She said that when she placed herself in the shoes of my customers—doctors who see patient after patient, often dealing with complaints, difficult cases and bad news—she noticed that my presence changes the atmosphere. She said that sometimes the atmosphere could feel like a downer, but somehow, when I came in, it became more uplifting. And as she said that, I knew in my heart that it was Jesus. Because I know that joy is not something I can manufacture on my own. It is the joy of the Lord in me. That moment reminded me that we don't always know how God is using us. Sometimes we think we're just going to work-  doing our job, having a conversation... But when we carry Jesus with us, our presence can change an atmosphere. God can use the joy He has placed in us to bring a little light into that space. The victory wasn't just receiving good feedback from my manager. The real victory was surrendering my worries to Jesus—and then seeing Him remind me that He is the One working through me. All glory to Jesus. 🙏🏻❤️

During sportfest, everyone in the school was grouped up into 4 teams and i decided to join basketball as usual, I looked around for my teamates in red and realised they are all mostly new to basketball 😭 My usual basketball team is in one separate team without me. Long story short I basically had to carry the whole team and our coach was depending on me to win. I prayed before each match and we didn't lose a single match against any team, my 3 pointers kept going in and we won the finals SOMEHOW AGAINST EVERY TEAM THAT IS WAYY. PRAISE THE LORD! The prayers definitely made us win it
