Angle of Attack is 100% worth your time and money! I took the instrument course and I loved it. There are four things about this course that stood out to me in particular. First is the price. I felt as though every dollar I spent on the course was well worth it. Because I bought the course (and the checkride prep), I can now access both of them whenever I want. It is great! Not all ground courses offered have that kind of accessibility. The next thing was how Chris used Foreflight during class. He went over things like weather and flight plans and many more things in Foreflight. It was like a tutorial on Foreflight while going over the class material. I really enjoyed this part of the class as I use Foreflight. The third point and the biggest compliment I can give to a teacher is that they make their subject easy to understand. Making a complex or hard thing easy to understand, I think, is a form of art. Chris does an excellent job of this. Last of all is the mindset. During my flight training and in life in general, I have always studied and prepared to pass the next big test. Chris addresses this very subject. He talks about the correct mindset you should have going into any checkride. I don't want to give it away. What Chris said really changed my whole outlook on my training and made me a better pilot.

Angle of Attack’s online PPL prep course helped me make a massive step towards getting my private certificate while being able to stay gainfully employed. Being able to take the classes on my own schedule around work enabled me to learn the material while still working and saving up money to spend on flight training. Sure, I could have taken vacation to attend an in-person flight school, but I found the material so interesting and so well presented that I’m not sure I would have learned more had I gone that route. Chris is very responsive to questions, as if you were an in-person student, but with the advantage of allowing asynchronous schedules to work. I would say that at all phases of my flight training so far, the online course from Angle of Attack has helped me feel prepared with the knowledge I need to take full advantage of the time I get to spend in the cockpit with my instructor, and I’ve been scoring well on practice exams, too, as a result. Additionally, when my instructor sat me down to plan our first cross-country flight, from Birchwood to Gulkana to Willow, Alaska - during which a VIP TFR went into effect around Anchorage - I felt prepared and could lean on the learnings from the course to plan the flight without disappointing the CFI who would be making the trip with me. My aircraft and I are both safer for having taken the online prep course!

I used Angle of Attack to prepare for my instrument training and written. I loved how the course was broken up into digestible sections and how Chris breaks down topics in a way that is based in common sense. Using ForeFlight in the training is also super helpful and relevant to my flying workflow. Definitely recommend!
