Wall of Love for pmcurve

Product Manager - ConveGenius.AI

My unwavering love for greens and my sheer negligence in maintaining them make for a deadly combination — a Certified Plant Killer 🥀 So I built Project Maali — an AI gardening companion for your daily indoor gardening needs. Built as a Capstone under the guidance of Deepak and his team at pmcurve, alongside a sharp cohort of product folks, each solving their own real problem. Sincerely thankful to his continuous support and for providing this opportunity. Maali is not just another plant-purchase app. It: 🪴 Curates what you can grow based on your city's weather, sunlight, and the effort you're willing to put in. 📸 Identifies a plant from a photo and helps you set it up. 🩺 Diagnoses issues from a photo or text — like describing it to a knowledgeable friend. ⛅ Sends weather-aware care alerts for the plants at risk today. As a PM, the Evals were the special part. I built a 50-case eval set and graded every AI response round over round. Pass rate went from 50% to 90% across 5 rounds — not by guessing what "good" means, but by measuring it and fixing root causes. Maali isn't about getting you to buy a plant — it's about turning a "Plant Killer" into a "Certified Plant Lover." And if you've ever kept a plant alive for less than a month, give Maali a try and tell me what you feel: https://lnkd.in/dEiAB5F4 🌱

I found the content highly relevant to my day-to-day responsibilities as a Senior Product Manager at a startup. It provided valuable insights into building fully functional applications using prompting techniques. Additionally, the coverage of chatbot and AI agent development was particularly beneficial and served as an excellent complement to the overall learning experience.

The worst thing you can do is assume you know it all! Even after 10+ years working in AI, this course taught me so much.

I got a small sneak peek behind the scenes while Deepak was building this AI program, and let me tell you, it's evident he poured a tremendous amount of focused energy into it.

With so much info out there on GenAI, distilling it down to the most essential topics is a huge task. He's done an amazing job balancing the technical and PM aspects, and an outcome of building a production-ready AI product.

I'm truly in awe of the pmcurve community members' brilliance, the amazing discussions, and the innovative products they're creating. It's been incredibly inspiring!

Anybody who knows me knows there's no person more than Deepak Singh who has influenced the way I think, talk and discuss product. SO, I'm very happy to share that the last few months, I've worked on understanding, learning, and applying concepts of AI to learn about AI Product Management from pmcurve! The project I worked on: Cleared (https://lnkd.in/gMMkc7RT) It's an AI agent that triages workspace access requests by refusing when it can't verify the evidence, escalating to a human when judgment is needed, and showing its evaluation methodology in the product so reviewers can audit how it makes decisions. A couple of decisions I'm proud of: 1. My first target for the reasoning-quality tests was 39 out of 40. Then I realised that a perfect score would have taught me nothing. So I reframed the whole tier from "prove it works" to "find where it breaks." Pass rate dropped to 2 of 12. Those 10 misses became the v2 spec, and have not become defects to hide. 2. Every LLM judge criterion got validated against deliberately-bad synthetic outputs before it touched real seeds. If the judge can't catch outputs I hand-crafted to fail, it can't be trusted to grade the real ones. Learning to create an agentic product was a painful process. Lots of days were spent in pain really trying to internalise things I'd learnt. But, there's no gain without pain. And I believe this pain was worth it :) For any HMs reading, i'm looking for full-time PM-II roles. I'd love to discuss how I approach AI products with you! As part of my Advanced AI PM course with PMcurve with Deepak Singh, I took on a simple challenge: 👉 Go from idea → product → live website using only AI tools. Built a No BS skincare MVP website without any Payment Gateway integration or Search Engine. Pleasantly surprised to see how beautifully it all came together with almost no bugs! Here’s what I accomplished: - Used ChatGPT to think through product requirements, flows, and structure - Utilized Lovable (with free credits) to bring it to life - Shipped this in approximately 2 hours: https://lnkd.in/g9g8g_NB No code. No design tools. Just structured thinking combined with the right prompts. A few reflections from this experience: - AI doesn’t replace product thinking; it amplifies it. - The quality of output is directly tied to how clearly you can define the problem. - Speed of execution is becoming a significant differentiator for PMs. I am still early in my journey of exploring AI Product Management, but experiences like this are making it clear — the role is evolving rapidly, and hands-on experimentation is essential. Next up building something different and relevant using Claude Code and Claude Design using Free Credits only!

Currently going deeper through Deepak Singh's Advanced AI Product Management program at — because in this space, you never stop building and never stop learning. I built QUELL — India's first hard-water defense skincare brand. Barrier-first formula. Dermatologist tested. Made for Indian conditions. Priced right where Indian customers actually convert. No agency. No dev team. No co-founder. Just structured thinking + an AI-augmented build stack: → Claude — brand positioning, copy, and product storytelling → Claude Code terminal — built the entire storefront from scratch → Vercel — deployed, live, and production-grade in days Most product portfolios have decks and frameworks. This one has a live URL. Steep learning curve. Worth every hour. I built this solo with AI. No agency, no team.

Built solo, end to end: TypeScript, Next.js, Supabase hybrid search, Claude, MCP connectors. Live on Vercel.

Demoed this week at pmcurve , cohort of 50 AI Product Builders and Deepak Singh — thank you for feedback that was specific, challenging, and generous. It's already reshaping the roadmap. It has taken me rigorous 12 weeks to understand every bit and reach here.

I was part of the Advanced Tech & AI Bootcamp – Cohort 1. It was my second program with pmcurve, having previously been part of the Growth Cohort. The sessions helped me gain a broader understanding of how to identify and filter relevant AI use cases in my product. A great aspect of the program was that it didn’t assume any prior knowledge of LLMs, model selection, RAG, or AI agents. I was able to unlearn and relearn these concepts through a structured framework that showed how they connect and build on each other. I now find myself better equipped with the knowledge, vocabulary, semantics, and practical understanding to grasp what’s happening in the AI world—and to engage in meaningful discussions with tech teams already working in this space.

While some topics felt complex during the sessions, Deepak ensured rich discussions by challenging cohort members and asking thoughtful questions—so the learning didn’t stay at a surface level. Another great part of Deepak’s program is that the learning continues even after the sessions end—through WhatsApp discussions among cohort members and follow-up sessions. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to build a well-structured scaffolding for AI product thinking—so they can confidently apply it in real-world contexts.

Had posted regarding the completion of the Advanced Tech & AI Program for PMs by pmcurve earlier - however, one of the best aspects of the program was the Capstone. It truly helped us understand the power of “Building” and the struggle behind it. We built the MVP version of a swing trading recommendations app (using Lovable, Yahoo Finance API & Supabase) which helps beginner users uncover stocks recommendations based on rule based swing trading strategies and cuts down on time spent doing so by 90% compared to other methods. And again thanks to Deepak Singh for the constant guidance and push :)

Enrolling in pmcurve Programs has been the best decision for my career, and I'll say so for both Advanced Growth as well as Product Sense & Strategy. Even after having earlier enrolled into much popular Growth & PM programs - even globally branded ones, what made this program special and close to my heart is my curiosity about Product Management and Business Strategy in general has been immensely rekindled - and so has the belief in myself of nurturing my product sense, and actually having strong proxies of measuring it. But the part that's closest to my heart about pmcurve is that Deepak, his team, and the learning engagement is "human" and never is aimed to make you or your learning actions turn into a content loop for posting it on social media which sadly has become the norm with PM & Growth courses. Have actually been able to draw parallels around life wisdom and wisdom of product intuition and managing my career aspirations - the learnings remain deeply with you and act as a forcing function to develop & hone a mindset in thinking & execution + communication. I was able to progress in interviews and make a stand for my opinions on product decisions and communicate my thinking processes better to align after undergoing pmcurve programs.

"Growth happens on the edge." : Deepak Singh from pmcurve

Just completed an intensive 8-week AI Product Management course, and this quote from our instructor perfectly captures the journey.

Over the past two months, I dove deep into building AI products from the ground up:
What I learned: → AI prototyping and foundation models → Algorithms, models, and real-world use cases → Writing AI PRDs that bridge business and technical teams → Advanced techniques: Prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning → Agentic AI and autonomous systems → AI product evaluation frameworks → Strategic product thinking for AI implementation

The best part? Applying this learning hands-on through a capstone project, taking concepts from theory to a working AI product prototype.

A huge shoutout to Deepak Singh for being an exceptional instructor. His student-centric approach, willingness to confront tough questions head-on, and ability to inspire each of us to build better products made all the difference.

After 17 years in commercial operations and digital transformation, adding structured AI product management capabilities feels like the right step. Excited to apply this to real-world challenges in commerce, marketplaces, and business operations.

"Growth happens on the edge" — and that's exactly where I want to be.

Since my undergrad, I dreaded anything that involved writing code. Today, I shipped a fully deployed, production AI application which I never imagined I could do 4 months ago. Here's what changed 👇

I joined the AI for PM course by Deepak Singh and pmcurve, and somewhere along the way I realised: English is the new coding language. You don't need to know Python or JavaScript. You need to know how to think clearly, describe problems precisely, and work with AI as your engineering partner.

So for my capstone, I built the APAC Payment Intelligence Monitor — an AI agent that automatically tracks regulatory bulletins from RBI, RBA, JFSA, Visa, Mastercard, and more across India, Australia, and Japan, a real problem I see every day working in APAC payments.

What I shipped, end to end, as a PM:
 🔍 Always-on monitoring across 7 regulatory sources
🧠 Claude Sonnet extracting urgency, deadlines & action items from every PDF 🔐 Google OAuth, multi-user dashboard, admin panel 📅 Calendar view, email digests, manual uploads, Claude chat assistant ✅ 91% extraction accuracy · 0% hallucination · fully deployed in production

Thank you Deepak Singh and pmcurve for building a program where the output is a live product — not just a certificate. This genuinely unlocked something for me. 🙏

If you're a PM who thinks coding isn't for you — it's not. But building is. 🎥 Checkout the Product explainer video 😊 🌐 Experience the live product and share your feedbacks: https://lnkd.in/equvgWB8 🤘 ✌

The PMCurve course led by the ever amazing Deepak Singh gave me the frameworks to actually ship this - from AI evaluation strategy to context engineering. I've known Deepak since our IIT Kharagpur days, 15 years ago. His book Tech Simplified was a big reason I made the jump to Product Management in the first place. Learning from him again felt full-circle 🙂

Built the full stack with Claude Code by Anthropic - Next.js on the frontend, Supabase for the backend and real-time database, Vercel for deployment, and the Anthropic Claude API powering the AI.

So when I needed a capstone project for the Advanced AI Product Management course by pmcurve that I recently completed, the choice was obvious. The trigger was simpler than that though - I was tired of paying sporadic Kahoot subscriptions just to run party quizzes for my friends.

Quizzinga is what came out of it. AI generates questions from any topic or PDF, participants join with a link (no sign-ups), and the whole thing is free - including the analytics and leaderboard that competitors put behind paywalls. https://www.quizzinga.app/

TL;DR : I built an end to end working app! The last 12 weeks in the AI PM Course by Deepak Singh have been transformational. I know this could be the 100th course appreciation post you read on LinkedIn today but I am going to be honest in my experience. And I hope this serves as your sign today to start building! These 12 weeks were not just a refresher in Machine Learning and Deep Learning Concepts, but the foundation of AI thinking, Agentic Coding and a lot more.

🚀 From Learning to Launching: My AI Journey with Real Impact Wrapped up an incredible Advanced AI Product Management course journey last month at pmcurve – but this wasn't just about learning. We built a real product, solved a real problem, and got real users. 💪 🩺 The Challenge: Teamed up with fellow Toastmaster Deepak Valusa to tackle a pain point we both felt deeply – the tedious process of publishing meeting minutes in Toastmasters clubs. 🩸 The Journey: I'll be honest – I had serious doubts about technical feasibility. This is where everything came together: → Deepak Singh's mentorship kept us focused on what mattered → His Structured course content gave us the foundation → An incredible community pushed us forward when we hit walls Countless hours. Multiple iterations. Product-sense decisions at every turn. 💊 The Result: ✅ Product ready for real-world use ✅ First customer acquired ✅ High ratings from both judges AND audience at capstone demo day 🧘‍♂️ The Big Takeaway: Even in the AI world, product sense drives 80% of success. This certification is just one step in a much bigger journey. I'm excited to keep learning, building, and applying AI to create products that solve real customer problems. Every new concept I learn opens the door to ten more questions—and that's exactly what makes this journey exciting.

As part of this journey, I recently completed my Advanced AI Product Management certification. While the certification is an important milestone, the biggest takeaway wasn't the certificate itself—it was the mindset shift that came with it.

A couple of lessons have stayed with me:

1️⃣ AI won't replace Product Managers—but Product Managers who understand AI will build the future.

Learning about LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI product strategy has completely changed how I approach product thinking. Every feature now starts with a different question:

Can AI make this experience smarter, simpler, or more valuable for users?

2️⃣ Upskilling isn't about chasing trends. It's about staying relevant and curious.

Every new concept I learn opens the door to ten more questions—and that's exactly what makes this journey exciting.

This certification is just one step in a much bigger journey. I'm excited to keep learning, building, and applying AI to create products that solve real customer problems.

A big thank you Deepak Singh and pmcurve for designing a program that goes beyond theory and focuses on practical, real-world AI product management. Your guidance, insights, and structured approach have helped me confidently take this next step in my transition into AI Product Management.. 🙏

As part of this journey, I recently completed my Advanced AI Product Management certification. While the certification is an important milestone, the biggest takeaway wasn't the certificate itself—it was the mindset shift that came with it.

This course has helped me in putting a structure in my brain to how products are built, grown, monetised & become market leader.

- Defining Core Actions for a product has been super critical

- How do you conduct growth experiments has been useful

- I was not very strong at visualising engagement through multiple lens. The course has enabled to think more deeply

It is very practical and taught with real world examples. The frameworks are super useful, and I have been able them to apply them in running my own startup.

With such a bright & diversified cohort, the discussions/questions have been very productive, and brain stimulating. Whenever you learn a concept, you are immediately asked to apply that concept in the form of assessment which creates a recall value.

The course also teaches you what not to do. Deepak has been very patient during the entire course tenure to answer every single question being asked.

Overall, I have become more analytical, logical, positive, and is in a better position to win. The most important part - I have become confident in knowing the language, frameworks and belief in know what’s important to me, and getting it done with full power

In just 12 weeks, the course taught me more about growth and product than my 6 years as an operator and entrepreneur.

The program pushes you to approach growth problems from various angles, allowing to develop the ability to break them down, think deeply, and find scalable solutions.

And it's not just the course content that's a game changer - it's also the community of the best minds in the country, all working together to contribute to each other's growth.

It's hard to put into words just how impactful this journey is before you live it yourself. Thanks Deepak for being an amazing mentor and creating this truly life-changing experience.

I had the privilege of attending Deepak Singh's Product-Led Growth course on the weekends, and I can say without hesitation that every minute was worth my time. It's rare for me to be able to attend a weekend course, but I found myself glued to my chair throughout the entire program. I am not even kidding!. Deepak created an incredible amount of value for all the participants that will undoubtedly help us for years to come. The course was enlightening and heavily grounded in case studies across different stages of growth, which provided tangible ways to manage product growth. I especially appreciated the option to create a Growth plan for my product that allowed me to apply the learning on a day-to-day basis and create an impact throughout the course. The best part was the Cohort based learning where you get to hear different growth challenges, perspectives and how to navigate them. Plus, you get to hear Deepak share candid stories, and learnings from his career.I would highly recommend this course to any PMs or entrepreneurs looking to navigate product growth in today's macroeconomic conditions. Don't miss this opportunity, if you are looking to sharpen your PM skills. Sign up for the next cohort here: pmcurve.com #productledgrowth #entrepreneurship #growth #learning

The announcement of Deepak Singh's "Product Strategy" by pmcurve sparked genuine excitement, and gave hope. Having previously benefitted from Deepak's teachings on Advanced Growth, I knew that his approach would serve as the catalyst I needed.

The course delved into crucial aspects such as building domain knowledge, conducting just enough research, distinguishing between disruptive and sustaining innovation in great depth and much more. To round off our knowledge, the capstone project was a true test. Working on a thesis and strategy for Anthropic's growth under tight deadlines was quiet an experience. From the point of giving up, to getting a nudge, working along with my long time friend, Ankit Kulshreshtha, and team members across geographies, scratching our heads past midnight, to being finally declared as the winner, we learned invaluable lessons about perseverance, collaboration, problem-solving, and having a strong conviction in something you believe.

Yesterday was month-end, and I was updating my expenses. That's when I noticed one category had grown: AI Subscriptions & Tokens. It hit me that I'm no longer just paying to use AI. I'm paying for the AI that powers the products I'm building. For me, that's the first tangible sign that I've crossed from learning AI to building with AI. A big thank you to Deepak Singh and pmcurve for helping me make that transition. 🙏

“Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears and never regrets” - Leonardo Da Vinci

Have been a part of pmcurve since last year when I had enrolled for Advanced Growth for Product Managers and have recently done the Product Sense and Strategy Course. The courses have been an enriching investment of time and effort.

In the current macro environment, there is a constant pressure for product managers to be able to solve the right problems, drive the right outcomes and create meaningful impact. Being a part of pmcurve, enhanced my ability to better manage the day to day challenges of the role.

I found Deepak Singh’s understanding of the Product Space deeply nuanced with great case studies from both Indian as well as global players. In the sea of PM resources , a number of which are quite theoretical in nature, he keeps his approach very pragmatic to the level of being apply to work, the very next day.

I completed Session 1 of the AI Assisted Prototyping course by pmcurve, where I learned how prototyping has evolved from paper sketches in 2014 to today’s prompt-driven prototypes, explored the AI-assisted prototyping landscape, and even built an AI prototype using v0 by Vercel.

✨ For this project, I framed a problem statement around something I personally face as a multi-passionate person managing multiple projects. "Juggling multiple passions often means constant context switching, recalling where you left off, rebuilding momentum, and re-entering the right headspace. This repeated friction drains time, disrupts flow, and makes pursuing diverse passions overwhelming. Despite the growing number of multi-passionate individuals, there is still a need for a simple personalized tool to help transition smoothly between contexts ."

To my astonishment, v0 was able to deliver a working prototype in just 4 minutes 31 seconds, with an impressive UI that came with editable design systems for typography, color palettes, and layouts. What surprised me the most was suggested changes were implemented in only 42 seconds. The little details it had added like "The context switch assistant, exit notes, preparing to switch contexts (also allowing the user to take time before switching)", then the copy "Currently creating magic with : The project name" on the top left side, also indicating the WIP, left me awestruck. I was just a single click away from publishing the prototype.

This was just Session 1. I am genuinely excited to see what more I’ll learn and build as I move into Session 2 🤩

I have invested in several great AI and Product Management courses over the last few years but my recent experience with the `Advanced AI Product Management` program from pmcurve was different. It was not just about adding tools to the kit. It was about "Calibration". Deepak Singh is a rare kind of Product Coach with deep wisdom. He has a profound ability to step back and connect the dots between industry trends, psychology and history and raw data. The way he coached us was like a game of Tetris. He helps you look at your own experiences and shift the pieces until they finally click into place. We covered the full spectrum from ML fundamentals to the nuances of LLMs and RAG and Agents and Evals. The lessons remained grounded in PM fundamentals the whole way through. Importantly, this journey has given me immense leverage and the confidence to solo build an enterprise product, that I am currently working on. If you are serious about product management and ready to put in the time to leverage AI then I highly recommend his courses. On a lighter note, this course has some side effects. When my wife who is a dermatologist asks me to research something for her, I now provide her output from three different models. In return, I ask her to provide a user scoring rubric on my Eval metrics 🤓.

Deepak’s cohort has acted as a catalyst in my product thinking with a lot of structure and clear takeaways to apply to my daily job. In hindsight, the course structure with engaging sessions , application through capstone and community of like minded folks layered with case studies was very effective not only in conceptual understanding but also application in our product roles. One thing that Deepak does very well is synthesise frameworks from his experience + existing data out there and present in easily absorbable take aways. The course comprehensively covers the growth cycle from Acquisition to Retention to monetisation layered with several case studies , but never felt too heavy. Also, found his sessions to be extremely engaging even to listen as recordings later. The capstone was the cherry on the pudding and an appropriate closure to the well thought out curriculum which helped to actually apply and see the power of the learning’s by putting ourselves in the shoes of Product Growth leaders which helped to sharpen our strategic growth mindset as well. As a bonus , got access to the cohort community which is quiet good in terms of engagement with like minded folks which i am looking forward to staying connected

I attended Deepak Singh pmcurve's Adavanced AI in product management course and here is what I think makes 50+ PMs attend 4+ hours of classes on consecutive saturday morning over multiple weekends! 1. The course is very well structured. We started with broad Business and PM concepts and gradually moved to how LLMs work behind the scene exploring prompting techniques, RAG, agents, evals, MCP, AI architecture and more. I appreciate the fact that we were playing around with AI tools from day 1. I am definitely more confident about exploring AI APIs - be it from Bland, Eleven Labs or OpenAI. However, I am yet to overcome the shock that now PMs will have to read research papers to keep upto date! 2. I also benefitted from shadowing a PM industry veteran. Deepak’s habit of being curious and not judgemental, understanding the context, asking for the question behind the question, starting with the problem and working backwards to the solution, stressing on importance of FR, NFR and cost, spending least amount of resource to validate ideas quickly in the AI era is something I look forward to adapting in my work. 3. I had opted for the capstone project with a group, however, we could not take the selected project to the stage that we would have liked. While it is a challenge for group members to sustain the initial enthusiasm and put in time and efforts consistently, they could benefit immensely with an oversight from the instructor. Output accountability is the problem which I hope will be solved. For most PMs based in India, the course fee might feel heavy on the pocket. I am happy to volunteer if anyone wants to check their fit for this course but it could be beneficial to view this as an investment rather than a cost. Course Link - https://lnkd.in/gb4FnmZY
Officially certified! I've just completed the Advanced Tech and AI Program from pmcurve, and it's been a game-changer.

From AI prototyping and understanding complex foundational models to designing MVPs and evaluating AI products for production readiness, this course covered it all. Feeling equipped and inspired to tackle new challenges in the AI space.

Before this program, AI truly felt like an intimidating 'black box.' However, the way this course broke down complex topics like transformers and foundational models was fantastic. I went from being overwhelmed by them to clearly seeing their practical applications in real life and, crucially, understanding the boundaries of what's feasible. This demystification has armed me with a clear understanding of AI's core components, and I now feel genuinely confident in my ability to design, build, and evaluate effective AI solutions.

The absolute best aspect of this journey was Deepak Singh's guidance. His excellent mentorship went far beyond just teaching; he has an incredible knack for breaking down even the most daunting AI concepts into digestible, actionable insights that made the learning experience exceptional.

A special thanks to Deepak Singh for being an exceptional tutor and mentor.

I’ve come to believe that the best managers, teachers, and coaches are demanding in the process, but generous in the outcomes. I continue to learn from Deepak Singh because he pushes us to apply ourselves to each concept. In these 8 weeks , I personally enjoyed learning about AI product architecture, Data engineering, RAG, and Agentic AI.

"Highlights" from Product-led growth by Deepak Singh - Week 1 1. AARRR vs Growth cycle: By looking at growth as a funnel (Acquisition > Activation > Retention > Referral > Revenue), we miss out on the impact each component can have on the other. Hence, it's better to look at growth as a cycle of Acquisition, Retention and Revenue. 2. Types of Products: Products can be largely classified into 3 types- a. Attention products eg. Tik-Tok, Instagram, Netflix b. Transaction products eg. Flipkart and Razorpay c. Productivity products eg. Cleartax, Zoho, Jira We learnt the different business models each of these products uses and the metrics to follow in each phase of their growth cycle. 💡 Fun trivia: Which of these product types would 'WhatsApp' fall in?

I was a Product Manager looking to grasp growth concepts used in B2C products. This program stands out in several ways, and I’m glad I enrolled in it.

First, the course is uniquely structured around simulating real-world scenarios faced by companies with growth challenges, allowing you as a learner to make decisions as the course progresses. Unlike other courses I've tried, which tend to be overly theoretical, this one offers practical, hands-on experience.

Second, you gain access to two invaluable resources upon joining the program: Deepak and his community of knowledge seekers. You will later realize that this access will significantly contribute to your long-term success, providing continuous learning and support.

Third, Deepak is a master of his craft. He is not only an excellent teacher but also inspires, and guides you on a continuous learning path, encouraging you to seek more knowledge. The course equipped me with the ability to distinguish between effective and ineffective growth strategies, emphasizing that there is no single winning formula.

Success in growth requires a deep understanding of context, environment, and asking the right questions. Take the course! At the very least, it will help you identify your knowledge gaps and become a better Product Manager.

The Advanced Tech and AI program has made me race-ready.

While Deepak’s core expertise lies in the B2C space—which isn't my primary domain—his insights are still highly relevant, as core tech and AI concepts are industry-agnostic. Despite having a strong background in analytics, I continue to uncover fresh ideas and thought-provoking perspectives in his content. I particularly enjoy the spontaneous questions he throws into sessions—they challenge you to think critically and go beyond the obvious. What’s even more transformative is how the program has helped shift my mindset—from being just a thinker and problem-solver to becoming an actual doer. In the age of AI, this transition is crucial for product managers. It's no longer enough to understand the technology conceptually; you need to get hands-on, experiment, and build.

The program truly instills that bias for action.

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Advanced Tech AI Program Live Cohort II from pmcurve by Deepak Singh! It was an awesome journey where Deepak helped us learn about advanced tech concepts, evolution of AI to where it is today and get a good grasp on modern AI stack like LLMs, RAG, MCP servers, Agentic workflows, etc! The highlight for me was his emphasis on making us learn "how to think" and "how to keep learning and applying" rather than just teaching the concepts. Hoping to apply the lessons learnt at work and otherwise going forward!

Storing information is solved. Retrieving it isn’t. The hardest part of Product Work isn’t alignment. It’s locating the one sentence someone said three weeks ago that changed the decision today. Slack buries urgency. Drive buries nuance. Notion buries history. Information hides exactly when timing matters most. This problem has followed me through every product cycle I’ve worked in Product teams move fast because they use many tools. They break because -truth fragments across them. We normalize re-asking stakeholders for answers they already gave. We assume “search” works. It doesn’t. This exploration exists because Deepak Singh , Founder of pmcurve , pushed us to treat retrieval as a design problem with real productivity costs. We’re mapping the real terrain PMs operate in: multiple sources of truth, zero guaranteed recall.

I wish I had this course a few years earlier so that I could have accelerated my journey. The best part about that course is the abstraction and structured thinking toolkit which many of the PMs keep doing inherently in some form and to some extent. Plus, Deepak experience as an operator in the industry makes the conversation and sessions practical and sensible from an India perspective.

The opposite of a good strategy is also a good strategy.

This is something that Deepak Singh has mentioned a few times over the last few months in his courses. Learning the ropes of product management at your job is a good strategy. Short-cutting your way into learning the best practices from a trusted product leader is also a good strategy. I chose to do the second. I fully believe that PMing is an art, and I am an apprentice till the end.

The last few months have been nothing short of hectic (maybe a bit brutal). But I'm extremely glad to have chosen this path, as I feel like I've learnt so much these past few months.

Over the last few months, I've completed the Product Sense and Strategy (https://lnkd.in/gmY-aCs8) and Advanced Growth with AI (https://lnkd.in/gxteiemh) courses from pmcurve, and I cannot recommend them enough! (I've told quite a few people in my network that these two courses are the best investments I've made. :D)

The real test is putting these into action, and I've got quite the plan to do these over the next few months! So, thank you for sharing your knowledge Deepak! :)

Great course, I believe the course title is a misnomer because the course goes well above basic AI prototyping and delves into a lot of topics around evaluating how to build AI products. Loved the frameworks discussed around agentic AI and if something should really be adopted as a AI use case.

Exciting Update! 📚 📘 Just finished reading "Tech Simplified for PMs" by Deepak Singh. As someone making a shift into Product Management from a non-tech background, grasping technical concepts can often feel like learning a new language altogether. However, this book brilliantly demystifies these complexities, offering an accessible guide to understand the tech landscape. From APIs, mobile apps, system design to agile methodologies, this book breaks down crucial technical concepts into easy and understandable terms, making it an invaluable asset for PMs coming from a non-tech background. Rather than overwhelming readers with technical jargon, this book provides real-world examples using simple analogies (my favourite one is the restaurant analogy to understand APIs), that resonate with the challenges faced by PMs daily. It's a refreshing approach that empowers PMs to navigate the tech world with confidence and clarity. 🚀

The AI Assisted Prototyping program was genuinely useful in understanding how AI can speed up the product design process. It helped me think beyond traditional workflows and explore faster ways to ideate, prototype, and iterate. The hands-on approach made it easy to connect concepts with real use cases. Overall, a practical and insightful course, especially for anyone working in product or design.

I used to believe that Product Sense could only be acquired through experience and was difficult to break down. However, during the pmcurve course, Deepak Singh helped us understand the different components of Product Sense and how to improve it.

 1) User empathy is a crucial aspect of Product Sense. As Product Managers, we should go beyond user research and inputs and delve into understanding user psychology and uncovering hidden needs and preferences that may not be explicitly expressed.

 2) Domain knowledge is essential. We should start by understanding our company or business unit and then expand our knowledge of the industry and various aspects of product development, such as design and technology. Advancing in Product Sense requires focusing on analogous domains.

I had the privilege of being a part of Deepak's 10-week PMCurve Product Led Growth Founding Cohort.

As a mid-level product manager, I found the course content to be a gold mine for anyone looking to grow in the area of product management and growth, even within their organization.

The explanations of all frameworks with numerous company case studies were particularly helpful in understanding how to apply the concepts covered in the course to real-world scenarios.

The program structure was very well thought-out, and the content was both comprehensive and engaging. Learning from highly skilled people in the cohort from different domain with different expertise was a great experience.

Deepak's mentorship and guidance were invaluable, and I feel more confident and equipped to tackle the challenges of my role thanks to his cohort. Additionally, thanks to the skills, insights, and confidence gained from his program, I was able to land a senior PM role in one of my favourite companies.

I highly recommend Deepak's program to anyone looking to grow and succeed in growth product management. Deepak is an exceptional mentor and a perfectionist of his field. He is a real value creator rather than a marketer😅. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from him. Thank him and the cohort again for everything.

In our session at pmcurve, we discussed biases, A few points were very interesting, one among them. Building hashtag #productroadmap based on Vocal users both Internal and external External - Users who write reviews in Google Playstore Internal - Stakeholders / Business heads who raise their voices to push their opinions These may lead to a biased product roadmap. So we need to be cognizant of a sample size of the users before prioritising a problem.

Sharpen Your Product Intuition: Daily Signals for Better Decisions Strong product sense = better decisions, faster. But how do you hone it daily/weekly?

This post breaks down 3 steps:

 1. Define Your "Right": It's not just gut feeling - understand the factors that make a good product call.

 2. Get Faster Feedback: Look for daily signals in your work, like the quality of your questions & ability to spot flaws in arguments.

 3. The Ultimate Test: Track your decisions. Over time, see if you're making the "right" calls more often.

Hello Folks! 🚀 Are you interested in Growth? Since 2020, I've been on an incredible journey following Deepak Singh's work. His book "Tech Simplified" was a confidence booster, providing unparalleled clarity on tech basics. I proudly count myself among the first 500 to grab a copy! 😄 Having been a part of cohort 1 in the Growth for PM course, I thoroughly explored the fundamentals and gained remarkable insights from Deepak on PMF, A/B testing, and growth loops. I attended Deepak Singh pmcurve's Adavanced AI in product management course and here is what I think makes 50+ PMs attend 4+ hours of classes on consecutive Saturday morning over multiple weekends! I benefitted from shadowing a PM industry veteran.

Writing this review after taking part in Product sense & Strategy course from Deepak. I must say, the last 3 three months of time spent on the course has been filled with learnings and take aways that is making me better each day at work!

While in our day to day aspects of being in a product role, we manage the aspects of being close to the product and system, Deepak helps you bring the foundational essence of how one should approach building and managing a product, be it a 0-1 product or an existing product that needs to scale. If one gives very close attention to the frameworks he takes us through and applies in day to day aspects on PM role, i think we all as PMs will add a lot more value to the organisation and for our own experience. Above all, i must say i could really see the passion in Deepak to share his vast industry experience and enable PMs to get better at what they do. I loved working on playground ( course assessment ) which you get to take during the course to evaluate your learnings and you can practically see how he has curated the content to help you apply your learnings from the classes. The capstone project experience was another call out i want to mention, even though my PM experience is mostly on B2B space, this opportunity was a great learning experience to collaborate with peers in the course & learn.

I would highly recommend PMs who are looking to sharpen their skills in areas of product sense, mindset, strategy, marketing reach out to Deepak and Kudos to his staff for planning and running the course sessions seamlessly.

🌟 Excited to share a major milestone in my product journey! 🚀 Just wrapped up the inaugural cohort of Product Sense by pmcurve, and WOW, what a game-changer! 🎉 This experience has been nothing short of transformation, equipping me with invaluable insights into what it truly means to lead in product management across any industry or product type – whether it's a productivity app, attention-grabbing platform, or transactional tool. Through this immersive program, I've honed my ability to uncover problems, evaluate product concepts, craft robust strategies, and execute killer go-to-market plans. And let me tell you, I never expected to be writing a 6-page thesis on a product idea, let alone having the opportunity to pitch it to seasoned founders of successful product companies! 😄 Massive kudos to Deepak Singh for spearheading this initiative and curating such a unique curriculum, blending elements from pilot training to human physiology. It's truly been a masterclass in product leadership. But perhaps the greatest reward has been joining a vibrant community of like-minded product managers, leaders, and founders, all united by a shared commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. 🌊💼 #ProductSense #ContinuousLearning #ProductLeadership #PMCurve #ProductSense1Cohort

Reflecting on my entrepreneurial journey, I realized that understanding the fundamentals of growth and product management is crucial for success. Running my e-commerce store in 2020, I thought we did everything right, but we still struggled to survive in a competitive market.

Fast forward to today, I wish I had known then what I know now. I wish I had met my mentor Deepak Singh from pmcurve earlier, as his guidance and the PSS course would have helped us avoid pitfalls. The course taught me that building products and executing strategies comes with opportunity costs. To succeed, we must understand industry structure, positioning, our right to win and some other nuances. The PSS course and capstone project helped me reinforce and apply these concepts, provided valuable thinking tools to generate and validate ideas quickly.

Huge thanks to Team Intercom - Prakya Vasudevan for her relentless push for early feedback & optimisation and Gaurav Dubey for the course correction throughout the capstone. This journey has made me a better product thinker, taught me to question assumptions, build data-driven arguments, and present concise narratives.

I prefer to limit my online presence and activity, it felt important to share some of my recent experiences that have been incredibly rewarding. Midst of the pandemic, I embarked on a continuous learning journey.

Among my mentors, Deepak Singh from pmcurve stands out for his exceptional ability to challenge my product knowledge, pushing me to explore concepts beyond traditional resources and, most importantly, avoiding the resources that do more harm than good.

🎓 Excited to share I've completed the Advanced Growth Program by pmcurve!

After 100+ hours of learning & earning an A+ grade, I've gained valuable growth strategies that are directly helping me with our used car loan products.

The program equipped me with practical skills in PMF, monetisation, acquisition, retention, and growth that is helping in creating a real difference in my day-to-day work. While the previous Product Sense & Strategy course built my foundation for 0-1 product development, this Advanced Growth Program has prepared me for scaling products from 10-100.

Thanks to Deepak Singh for creating this program and to Aditiya Srivastava for recommending pmcurve!

I became part of the pmcurve community last year through the Advanced Growth Cohort. The biggest goal I wanted to achieve was gaining practical mental models and frameworks to solve complex problems and elevate my career to the next level. I loved the way the entire program was conducted, especially the structured approach of the playground.

Deepak has organised the entire experience in a manner that feels like he is sitting beside you, guiding you through learning PLG and advancing your thinking in Product and Growth. It has truly been a game changer, particularly in helping me design better products. The community is very robust. Our Slack and WhatsApp groups always buzz with conversations where members support each other.

As a part of pmcurve's Product Sense course, we were tasked with a capstone project to build a new initiative for Intercom that can hit PMF within 3 years. Four weeks, several debates and after scratching our collective heads, we came up with a pitch and plan that took into account 4 things:

 1. An idea with business adjacency
 2. A practical way to execute and take it to market
 3. A predictable model for reaching our first 10, 100 & 1000 customers
4. A rough idea on what our P&L would look like if we were to go ahead with this

These four weeks have been rewarding but more than that, it was humbling to go through the grind and build conviction on what started off as a small idea.

Thank you Abhishek Puvvada for the idea man that you are and for thoroughly dissecting each one that came your way. Thank you Gaurav Dubey for the relentless supply of motivation, especially on the days that we didn't have enough of our own.

Biggest thank you to Deepak Singh for the timely check-ins, feedback and helping us build a convincing narrative and shape the small-ish idea we started with. And for designing the course to make us think like students for eternity. :)

My takeaways:

1. Treat every idea as a long term business.
2. Observe before you judge.
3. Don't try to sound smart. Instead, focus on sound reasoning.
 4. Use data to seek the truth and not just to convince yourself of a bias you hold.

It's been almost a 2 years of journey with Deepak, and when I started, I literally had no clue what Growth, and its relation to Product Managament meant. Coming from a Sales and Digital marketing background, I looked at it from marketers lens but never considered the holistic picture. Over these two years, Advanced Growth and Product Sense and Strategy have improved how I manage my stakeholders, recall of different concepts, focus on right problems, and help my client org function better by defining right product KPIs and tying it to larger business goals. Also, the community has been a driving force in terms of knowledge, approach to different problems and helping fellow PMs. I can just be grateful and fortunate for all that I received from pmcurve.

🎉 Thrilled to announce my successful completion of the 'Product Sense and Strategy Program for PMs' by pmcurve! I'm particularly honored to share that our hard work led to two major achievements: Individual Winner of the Capstone Project Overall Runner Up Winner (Group Category) for our Capstone presentation

This comprehensive program, led by the insightful Deepak Singh, has significantly enhanced my product management capabilities, especially in strategic thinking and product sense. The blend of live cohort sessions and self-paced learning created an ideal environment for deep, practical learning. One of the program's highlights was developing a strategic thesis on Spotify, recognized as one of the winning capstone projects. This thesis allowed us to think strategically about new initiatives, and identify high-impact problems that matter to the customer and impact the company as well as apply course learnings and frameworks like ReCURS. This wouldn't have been possible without the fantastic collaboration with Neeraj Sujan and Dinesh Kumar Kaliki - thank you both for helping elevate our work to new heights on the group stage!

What made Cohort 2 special was the carefully curated group of talented product professionals who brought diverse perspectives to our discussions. Combining live sessions and practical examinations helped bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.

Looking forward to applying these enhanced skills in my product journey ahead!

A Practical Approach to Product Sense and Strategy ✨

I recently had the privilege of attending Deepak Singh's Product Sense and Strategy course by pmcurve, and it was nothing short of transformative.

The course redefined what it takes to be a modern-day product manager, equipping us with the tools to build strong product convictions and effectively persuade both leaders and peers. It's a game-changer—not just for PMs, but also for tech entrepreneurs looking to sharpen their product thinking.

A key highlight was collaborating with incredible peers from diverse backgrounds to develop a thesis on Anthropic's offerings within a limited timeframe. he journey was intense and rewarding: our team was declared the winner, and part of our thesis was later validated in Microsoft’s Ignite 2024's Microsoft Copilot features. This experience reinforced the importance of applying strategic rigor and creativity to product management challenges.

For anyone in product management—or aspiring to be—I can’t recommend this course enough. It’s an investment in strategic thinking and product sense that pays off immediately!

🎯 Excited to share that I've won the capstone project on product strategy for Anthropic - Claude! 🏆
This win is significant as it aligns perfectly with my 2024 goal of strengthening my product strategic muscles.

💪 When I first spotted the course offering, it was a no-brainer. Having been part of the founding cohort of the advanced pm growth course, I knew the caliber of learning I could expect. 🥸
The journey has been incredible - from diving deep into frameworks to analyzing real-world scenarios, every module helped sharpen my product sense and strategic thinking. But the real validation came through winning the capstone project, proving that I'm moving in the right direction.

↗️ A special shoutout to my course tutor, who I regard as a true mentor in my product journey. Deepak Singh, Your guidance and insights have been invaluable. pmcurve - To this amazing community - thank you for the constant support, engaging discussions, and collaborative spirit that made this experience so enriching. 🙏

To all mid PMs out there - if you want to level up your product game, this program is your launchpad. The comprehensive curriculum, hands-on approach, and networking opportunities make it an invaluable investment in your PM career. 🚀

I have had the fortune of upskilling myself on some of the most talked about yet unstructured topics from Deepak.

I call them unstructured because you don’t know where to start from, what to read, what not to read. The first one was Tech for PMs - an absolutely brilliant course that helped me get comfortable with tech.

And now Product Growth! Growth can often appear to be a very ambiguous and unstructured domain because there is no fixed answer to problems.

But how do you still think in a structured manner , make better sense of data , and above all drive product driven solutions.

Even when the course is over, I still keep going back to the slides and videos to find answers. It’s a great choice for anyone who wants to solve growth problems confidently!

Excited to share a milestone in my journey! 🏅

Just completed the Product Sense and Strategy Program by pmcurve , and what a transformative experience it has been.

Over the past 3 months, I delved into crucial aspects of 0 -1 product development like Industry Analysis, Problem Identification, Prioritization, User Research, and MVP development while gaining invaluable insights about various industries.

A highlight was working alongside talented teammates- Gourav Baldewa , Rahul Bhise , and Mitul Rakshit - on a Fintech zero-to-one product. This hands-on experience not only honed my skills but also expanded my domain knowledge in Fintech.

Looking forward to applying these learnings to drive meaningful impact in future projects. Thanks a lot Deepak Singh for the amazing curriculum.

Just wanted to share that I'm currently reading 'Tech Simplified' by Deepak Singh. I'm finding it to be an incredibly insightful and informative read. I appreciate how the author simplifies complicated topics into easy-to-understand concepts, making them accessible to a wide audience of readers, including those without a technical background. Reading this book makes you a top coder.? NO! To put it simply, it will allow you to step into technical discussions as things make sense to you, thereby enabling you to be a better product person. I'm looking forward to continuing to learn and grow as I make my way through the book. Has anyone else read 'Tech Simplified'? What were your thoughts on it? Let's continue to learn and grow together! #TechSimplified #ContinuousLearning #Tech

I'm looking forward to continuing to learn and grow as I make my way through the book. Has anyone else read 'Tech Simplified'? What were your thoughts on it? Let's continue to learn and grow together! #TechSimplified #ContinuousLearning #Tech

My tribe of teachers who accelerated my growth 10x 👇 For the Product, one of them is Deepak Singh. It is insanely clear & actionable, due to which I was able to grasp & apply their insights rapidly.

Tech Simplified by Deepak Singh - The first book I read in 2022 and one of the fastest ever reads. A refreshing read on a Saturday after a hectic week at work, which made my day :). This is something I had been looking for long, specially in initial years of product career. The analogies drawn by the author in the book are brilliant and apt. I personally use daily life activities to give analogies to explain the PM concepts / APIs to my juniors / colleagues. I wish I had found such a book much earlier in my PM career. A must read for all aspiring PMs, PMs and techies. This book is not only meant for PMs, it is also a must read for business folks who manage digital partnerships / alliances, strategy folks, analytics / data engineers and without doubt CEOs who are running internet based businesses. Thank you Deepak Singh for compiling your learnings and fundamentals into an easily understandable book / ready reckoner. Very few people in your professional journey will actually help explain the 'hows' and 'whys' of system design / tech concepts articulately. Why wait for such a person? or rather the right person or mentor at the right time. When you can read this book at the right time :). This book easily calls for being part of the orientation / welcome kit given to new joiners in tech companies :).

Had a great experience being part of this! Building Nivriti taught me that the real challenge in AI products is not just making the model work but to ensure every output is safe and reliable, especially for financial planning. Deepak Singh - Thank you for pushing us through this journey.
