I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a mentor like Deepak Singh. His deep knowledge and passion for teaching are truly inspiring, and being in his presence is a gift in itself. 

I had the pleasure of joining the first batch of Deepak's pmcurve course on Product Led Growth, and I was impressed by how he made the course practical and applicable to real-world scenarios. 

From end to end, Deepak covered everything related to PLG, and the topics had actionable insights that I could apply in my work as a product manager. What I appreciated the most about Deepak's mentorship is that he helps you find your own path. He didn't just provide answers, but instead challenged us to think critically and have a deeper understanding of each topic. 

I have been following Deepak's work since he started writing his Growth Catalyst newsletters, and I can say without a doubt that he is a true guru when it comes to Product Led Growth.

Having personally attended the growth course at pmcurve with Deepak, I can vouch for his exceptional thinking and deep expertise.

This is BIG because it feels like a surreal culmination of the learning journey I’ve been on for the last couple of years with Deepak. A few years back, I was not even remotely close to any growth centric role. I found myself in a Growth role as a consequence of paradigm shifts that were happening post Covid19. In this grilling period of transition, Growth Catalyst (Deepak’s newsletter) became one of my go to resources to seek answers to every pedestrian growth questions I had at the time.

 Thank you Deepak for everything you do! Your advice on ‘doing boring things because no one else will’ has been life changing. Made me read a couple of tech research papers related to my domain. Can’t say I understand everything, but at least now I am more aware than ever before, and slightly less intimidated.

There are 4 key areas for getting to PMF: Classify products: A product can fall into multiple categories based on North Star of Company and PMF changes on this basis.

 ✔️Transaction-based products: Amazon will focus on several transactions happening
✔️Attention-grabbing products: YouTube on the other hand works by grabbing users' attention, so DAU becomes an important metric
✔️Productivity boosting products: Chatgpt/Notion

I just finished reading a book called "Tech Simplified" by Deepak Singh. It’s a great book to learn the basics of tech. I really wish I had this book when I started my journey as a Product Manager. I think anyone who wants to become a Product Manager should read this book. Big shoutout to Deepak Singh for writing such a helpful book! The last 2 months have helped me to structure my thought process around product growth. 

Some of the key learning for me have been 

a) Growth model and Concept of counter metrics

b) Product-Market-Pricing-Channel fit and why one should continuously monitor and evaluate these

c) Importance of Core Action, the natural frequency of action by the user for Retention 

d) Understanding of retention curves and strategies to improve churn. 

Apart from the core content of the course, there has been so much to learn from Deepak. His dedication to experimenting with new ways to engage members, sharing useful resources to continuously enhance learning, and his ability to connect data with insights has been truly motivational. Thank you Deepak for all your support.

This program helped me understand how product thinking and AI tools can come together to quickly turn ideas into working prototypes.

During the program, I explored how to use AI prompting with no-code tools like Lovable to build simple websites and product prototypes. I also learned how these prototypes can be connected with a backend using Supabase, which helped me understand the basics of how frontend and backend systems work together.

Another interesting part was getting a basic understanding of n8n, where I experimented with creating simple AI agent workflows and automations.

As someone exploring product and AI-driven building, this experience gave me a practical look at how quickly ideas can move from concept → prototype using modern tools.
