🎓 Excited to share I've completed the Advanced Growth Program by pmcurve!

After 100+ hours of learning & earning an A+ grade, I've gained valuable growth strategies that are directly helping me with our used car loan products.

The program equipped me with practical skills in PMF, monetisation, acquisition, retention, and growth that is helping in creating a real difference in my day-to-day work. While the previous Product Sense & Strategy course built my foundation for 0-1 product development, this Advanced Growth Program has prepared me for scaling products from 10-100.

Thanks to Deepak Singh for creating this program and to Aditiya Srivastava for recommending pmcurve!

I was a Product Manager looking to grasp growth concepts used in B2C products. This program stands out in several ways, and I’m glad I enrolled in it.

First, the course is uniquely structured around simulating real-world scenarios faced by companies with growth challenges, allowing you as a learner to make decisions as the course progresses. Unlike other courses I've tried, which tend to be overly theoretical, this one offers practical, hands-on experience.

Second, you gain access to two invaluable resources upon joining the program: Deepak and his community of knowledge seekers. You will later realize that this access will significantly contribute to your long-term success, providing continuous learning and support.

Third, Deepak is a master of his craft. He is not only an excellent teacher but also inspires, and guides you on a continuous learning path, encouraging you to seek more knowledge. The course equipped me with the ability to distinguish between effective and ineffective growth strategies, emphasizing that there is no single winning formula.

Success in growth requires a deep understanding of context, environment, and asking the right questions. Take the course! At the very least, it will help you identify your knowledge gaps and become a better Product Manager.

Deepak’s cohort has acted as a catalyst in my product thinking with a lot of structure and clear takeaways to apply to my daily job. In hindsight, the course structure with engaging sessions , application through capstone and community of like minded folks layered with case studies was very effective not only in conceptual understanding but also application in our product roles. One thing that Deepak does very well is synthesise frameworks from his experience + existing data out there and present in easily absorbable take aways. The course comprehensively covers the growth cycle from Acquisition to Retention to monetisation layered with several case studies , but never felt too heavy. Also, found his sessions to be extremely engaging even to listen as recordings later. The capstone was the cherry on the pudding and an appropriate closure to the well thought out curriculum which helped to actually apply and see the power of the learning’s by putting ourselves in the shoes of Product Growth leaders which helped to sharpen our strategic growth mindset as well. As a bonus , got access to the cohort community which is quiet good in terms of engagement with like minded folks which i am looking forward to staying connected

This course has helped me in putting a structure in my brain to how products are built, grown, monetised & become market leader.

- Defining Core Actions for a product has been super critical

- How do you conduct growth experiments has been useful

- I was not very strong at visualising engagement through multiple lens. The course has enabled to think more deeply

It is very practical and taught with real world examples. The frameworks are super useful, and I have been able them to apply them in running my own startup.

With such a bright & diversified cohort, the discussions/questions have been very productive, and brain stimulating. Whenever you learn a concept, you are immediately asked to apply that concept in the form of assessment which creates a recall value.

The course also teaches you what not to do. Deepak has been very patient during the entire course tenure to answer every single question being asked.

Overall, I have become more analytical, logical, positive, and is in a better position to win. The most important part - I have become confident in knowing the language, frameworks and belief in know what’s important to me, and getting it done with full power

It's been almost a 2 years of journey with Deepak, and when I started, I literally had no clue what Growth, and its relation to Product Managament meant. Coming from a Sales and Digital marketing background, I looked at it from marketers lens but never considered the holistic picture. Over these two years, Advanced Growth and Product Sense and Strategy have improved how I manage my stakeholders, recall of different concepts, focus on right problems, and help my client org function better by defining right product KPIs and tying it to larger business goals. Also, the community has been a driving force in terms of knowledge, approach to different problems and helping fellow PMs. I can just be grateful and fortunate for all that I received from pmcurve.

In just 12 weeks, the course taught me more about growth and product than my 6 years as an operator and entrepreneur.

The program pushes you to approach growth problems from various angles, allowing to develop the ability to break them down, think deeply, and find scalable solutions.

And it's not just the course content that's a game changer - it's also the community of the best minds in the country, all working together to contribute to each other's growth.

It's hard to put into words just how impactful this journey is before you live it yourself. Thanks Deepak for being an amazing mentor and creating this truly life-changing experience.

I prefer to limit my online presence and activity, it felt important to share some of my recent experiences that have been incredibly rewarding. Midst of the pandemic, I embarked on a continuous learning journey.

Among my mentors, Deepak Singh from pmcurve stands out for his exceptional ability to challenge my product knowledge, pushing me to explore concepts beyond traditional resources and, most importantly, avoiding the resources that do more harm than good.

“Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears and never regrets” - Leonardo Da Vinci

Have been a part of pmcurve since last year when I had enrolled for Advanced Growth for Product Managers and have recently done the Product Sense and Strategy Course. The courses have been an enriching investment of time and effort.

In the current macro environment, there is a constant pressure for product managers to be able to solve the right problems, drive the right outcomes and create meaningful impact. Being a part of pmcurve, enhanced my ability to better manage the day to day challenges of the role.

I found Deepak Singh’s understanding of the Product Space deeply nuanced with great case studies from both Indian as well as global players. In the sea of PM resources , a number of which are quite theoretical in nature, he keeps his approach very pragmatic to the level of being apply to work, the very next day.

I had the privilege of being a part of Deepak's 10-week PMCurve Product Led Growth Founding Cohort.

As a mid-level product manager, I found the course content to be a gold mine for anyone looking to grow in the area of product management and growth, even within their organization.

The explanations of all frameworks with numerous company case studies were particularly helpful in understanding how to apply the concepts covered in the course to real-world scenarios.

The program structure was very well thought-out, and the content was both comprehensive and engaging. Learning from highly skilled people in the cohort from different domain with different expertise was a great experience.

Deepak's mentorship and guidance were invaluable, and I feel more confident and equipped to tackle the challenges of my role thanks to his cohort. Additionally, thanks to the skills, insights, and confidence gained from his program, I was able to land a senior PM role in one of my favourite companies.

I highly recommend Deepak's program to anyone looking to grow and succeed in growth product management. Deepak is an exceptional mentor and a perfectionist of his field. He is a real value creator rather than a marketer😅. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from him. Thank him and the cohort again for everything.

The last 2 months have helped me to structure my thought process around product growth.

Some of the key learning for me have been

a) Growth model and Concept of counter metrics

b) Product-Market-Pricing-Channel fit and why one should continuously monitor and evaluate these

c) Importance of Core Action, the natural frequency of action by the user for Retention

d) Understanding of retention curves and strategies to improve churn.

Apart from the core content of the course, there has been so much to learn from Deepak. His dedication to experimenting with new ways to engage members, sharing useful resources to continuously enhance learning, and his ability to connect data with insights has been truly motivational. Thank you Deepak for all your support.

The opposite of a good strategy is also a good strategy.

This is something that Deepak Singh has mentioned a few times over the last few months in his courses. Learning the ropes of product management at your job is a good strategy. Short-cutting your way into learning the best practices from a trusted product leader is also a good strategy. I chose to do the second. I fully believe that PMing is an art, and I am an apprentice till the end.

The last few months have been nothing short of hectic (maybe a bit brutal). But I'm extremely glad to have chosen this path, as I feel like I've learnt so much these past few months.

Over the last few months, I've completed the Product Sense and Strategy (https://lnkd.in/gmY-aCs8) and Advanced Growth with AI (https://lnkd.in/gxteiemh) courses from pmcurve, and I cannot recommend them enough! (I've told quite a few people in my network that these two courses are the best investments I've made. :D)

The real test is putting these into action, and I've got quite the plan to do these over the next few months! So, thank you for sharing your knowledge Deepak! :)

"Highlights" from Product-led growth by Deepak Singh - Week 1 1. AARRR vs Growth cycle: By looking at growth as a funnel (Acquisition > Activation > Retention > Referral > Revenue), we miss out on the impact each component can have on the other. Hence, it's better to look at growth as a cycle of Acquisition, Retention and Revenue. 2. Types of Products: Products can be largely classified into 3 types- a. Attention products eg. Tik-Tok, Instagram, Netflix b. Transaction products eg. Flipkart and Razorpay c. Productivity products eg. Cleartax, Zoho, Jira We learnt the different business models each of these products uses and the metrics to follow in each phase of their growth cycle. 💡 Fun trivia: Which of these product types would 'WhatsApp' fall in?

Excited to share that our team has emerged victorious in the Capstone competition for the "Product Led Growth" course by Deepak Singh! 🎖 The challenge was to find ways to double the Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) for Zomato in the upcoming financial year. This course has been unlike any other I've taken in the past. It was all about pure, real learning with no show-shah. When I initially started working on the project, my goal was to consolidate my learnings. But as we delved deeper into the project, it felt like we were truly leading Zomato's growth charter. Special thanks to Deepak Singh for his incredible mentorship and guidance throughout the course. I've gained immense inspiration from his journey and his expertise in tackling tricky topics. I'm eagerly looking forward to taking more courses with Deepak in the future. Once again, thank you to my team, our judges, and Deepak Singh for this incredible learning experience.

Hello Folks! 🚀 Are you interested in Growth? Since 2020, I've been on an incredible journey following Deepak Singh's work. His book "Tech Simplified" was a confidence booster, providing unparalleled clarity on tech basics. I proudly count myself among the first 500 to grab a copy! 😄 Having been a part of cohort 1 in the Growth for PM course, I thoroughly explored the fundamentals and gained remarkable insights from Deepak on PMF, A/B testing, and growth loops. These learnings were truly enlightening and expanded my understanding in profound ways. Exciting news! ✨ Deepak has now introduced a fresh, interactive way to learn growth for PMs - filled with byte-sized content and objective assessments called 'Playground'. 🌐 Having experienced the Growth for PM course, I'm confident this new venture is a must for PMs and founders. No, Deepak didn't ask me to write this post. I genuinely believe PMs and founders shouldn't miss out on this fantastic opportunity! 🚀

I recently completed pmcurve Growth Playground - A self paced course built by Deepak Singh on applications of growth concepts for PMs - AND with a decent score! 😬

This is BIG because it feels like a surreal culmination of the learning journey I’ve been on for the last couple of years with Deepak. A few years back, I was not even remotely close to any growth centric role. I found myself in a Growth role as a consequence of paradigm shifts that were happening post Covid19. In this grilling period of transition, Growth Catalyst (Deepak’s newsletter) became one of my go to resources to seek answers to every pedestrian growth questions I had at the time.

Cut to 2023, I was learning under the man himself, in his Advanced Growth course, along with a community of smart folks. My thinking and approach to problems I work on at Beatoven.ai have largely been shaped by the newsletter, the course and the playground.

Thank you Deepak for everything you do! Your advice on ‘doing boring things because no one else will’ has been life changing. Made me read a couple of tech research papers related to my domain. Can’t say I understand everything, but at least now I am more aware than ever before, and slightly less intimidated.

I became part of the pmcurve community last year through the Advanced Growth Cohort. The biggest goal I wanted to achieve was gaining practical mental models and frameworks to solve complex problems and elevate my career to the next level. I loved the way the entire program was conducted, especially the structured approach of the playground.

Deepak has organised the entire experience in a manner that feels like he is sitting beside you, guiding you through learning PLG and advancing your thinking in Product and Growth. It has truly been a game changer, particularly in helping me design better products. The community is very robust. Our Slack and WhatsApp groups always buzz with conversations where members support each other.

"A little late but had the opportunity to attend a wonderful case discussion of upGrad conducted by Deepak Singh over the weekend 🙇🏻‍♂️ One of the greatest joys of being part of a learning community such pmcurve is that there is continued learning even after the 'course' is over. As Deepak puts it, Product Management is an ill-structured domain but such case studies really help unspool the threads of this craft. Can't say I can speak confidently about the nuances of EdTech now, but this has definitely helped with understanding how to break down product-led companies and pattern-match in ambiguous situations :) PS - Not the most flattering screenshot of Deepak, but the slide was appropriate. I assure you Deepak looks much better outside of screenshots."

I was in the 2nd cohort of pmcurve and Deepak Singh is probably the only PM in India who doesn't get swayed by the hype and speaks to the fundamentals of frameworks and keeps PMs grounded in metrics that matter. It's also a reasonably priced course. This is a big deal because it's more accessible than your popular courses.

This course has helped me immensely in understanding the various aspects of product growth.

Earlier my knowledge of product growth was not very deep but this course provided me with a much deeper understanding of the strategies, tactics, and tools needed to grow products.

I learned about everything from customer acquisition, attribution models, activation, and retention to product-market fit (and much more). One of the best things about this course is its practicality. The course is filled with real-world examples, case studies, and exercises that allow you to apply what you've learned.

Finally, I must say that my mindset has changed significantly after completing the course. It truly was transformative (as promised). The course has helped me identify the key metrics that matter, set clear goals, and develop effective strategies to achieve them. It has helped me connect with and learn from a lot of great PMs in the cohort.

Grateful to Deepak for the course.

I have had the fortune of upskilling myself on some of the most talked about yet unstructured topics from Deepak.

I call them unstructured because you don’t know where to start from, what to read, what not to read. The first one was Tech for PMs - an absolutely brilliant course that helped me get comfortable with tech.

And now Product Growth! Growth can often appear to be a very ambiguous and unstructured domain because there is no fixed answer to problems.

But how do you still think in a structured manner , make better sense of data , and above all drive product driven solutions.

Even when the course is over, I still keep going back to the slides and videos to find answers. It’s a great choice for anyone who wants to solve growth problems confidently!

I consider myself fortunate and proud to be part of the founding cohort of Pmcurve, led by Deepak Singh. This course has proven to be a highly valuable investment for me, with a high ROI. It has significantly sharpened my overall product thinking and equipped me with the right tools and frameworks to tackle any product growth problems. The opportunity to discuss anything related to a product with like-minded members has been invaluable, making this one of the best cohort courses I have ever taken. If you are looking to

During my graduation, one of my favourite professors mentioned something that really stayed with me “Continuous learning is the minimum requirement for success in any field”. This is something that I have tried to live by, lately I was looking for a structured class to upskill myself and well, happy to inform that I took one of the best decisions, to join the pmcurve - Product Led Growth Cohort. 🌟

After four months and more than 100 hours of intense learning, I'm thrilled to share that I've successfully completed an incredible PM Curve - Advanced Growth Program! Shameless Plug-in: I managed to secure an A+ Grade 🎊

Throughout the program, I've delved into fascinating concepts that have completely reshaped my approach to product led growth strategies. From growth modelling to creating seamless habit forming customer experiences, every lesson was packed with actionable insights.

A special shoutout to the amazing Deepak Singh and team for their guidance and expertise, and to my Shasleen Islam for recommending this transformative course. 🎉

The last 10 weeks have been different. Signing up for Deepak's pmcurve Growth course & dedicating some hours every week has to easily be one of the best decisions I took to elevate my skills as a Product Manager.

I could not imagine that all the basic stuff we hear about when talking about Product Growth - Acquisition Channels, CAC & LTV, Metrics, Monetisation etc. have so much depth than what gets usually covered.

The course was designed with a lot of thought on how an active form of learning can be deployed into a "byte" type program with exercises, followed by recorded sessions - all to contribute towards a more logical way of retaining what we learn better.

To add to that, the WhatsApp & Slack communities that come with the course are gems with at least 2-3 great discussions every week.

If you are someone who is looking to add some valuable arsenal to your kit, I cannot recommend pmcurve by Deepak Singh & Priya Singh enough!

Every PM needs to check this: This Saturday, I attended Deepak Singh’s session on Getting to Product-Market Fit, and I was mindblown by how easily he explained this complex and powerful concept.

Sharing key takeaways which anyone working on a new feature/product can learn from📝:

There are 4 key areas for getting to PMF: Classify products: A product can fall into multiple categories based on North Star of Company and PMF changes on this basis.

✔️Transaction-based products: Amazon will focus on several transactions happening
✔️Attention-grabbing products: YouTube on the other hand works by grabbing users' attention, so DAU becomes an important metric
✔️Productivity boosting products: Chatgpt/Notion

I had joined pmcurve-growth to benchmark myself against other seasoned PMs. I was also looking for a mentor who has excelled in his career and who may help to accelerate my product leadership journey. I am glad that I came across and joined this cohort, because I believe it has given me tools to navigate through growth phase products much more confidently. There are lots of resources available online, but bringing them together with relevant context is where I found most value. Deepak has been able to curate pertinent case studies and an intelligent and experienced group to discuss and debate these out with. By far, the best use of my weekends. Highly recommended if you want to build a great product sense and do what PMs behind successful products do.

Taking part in the cohort sessions offered by pmcurve.com was an absolutely incredible and eye-opening experience. Because of his amazing experience, we now know realised what will work in real world and what will not. He took the time to understand our specific needs and challenges, tailoring the sessions to address them effectively. His genuine enthusiasm and commitment to helping us succeed were evident in every interaction.

"Seek shelter in the knowledge of those who have gone before you, for in their lessons lies the path to wisdom." These words from the Bhagavad Gita remind us of the importance of having wise mentors in our lives.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a mentor like Deepak Singh. His deep knowledge and passion for teaching are truly inspiring, and being in his presence is a gift in itself.

I had the pleasure of joining the first batch of Deepak's pmcurve course on Product Led Growth, and I was impressed by how he made the course practical and applicable to real-world scenarios.

From end to end, Deepak covered everything related to PLG, and the topics had actionable insights that I could apply in my work as a product manager. What I appreciated the most about Deepak's mentorship is that he helps you find your own path. He didn't just provide answers, but instead challenged us to think critically and have a deeper understanding of each topic.

I have been following Deepak's work since he started writing his Growth Catalyst newsletters, and I can say without a doubt that he is a true guru when it comes to Product Led Growth.

His mentorship has been invaluable to me, and I highly recommend the pmcurve course with Deepak Singh to anyone looking to deepen their Product understanding and learn from a wise mentor who genuinely cares about your success.

Thank you, Deepak, for sharing your knowledge and helping us so much! Immensely grateful :)

I'm thrilled to share that I've completed the "Advanced Growth Program" for Product Managers by pmcurve It's been an incredible learning experience.

A big shout-out to Deepak Singh for crafting the course in a highly objective and quantitative manner. What sets this course apart is its clear and structured approach in defining a concept, which enables us to solve growth problems using simple Excel formulas.

I am thrilled to share this testimonial for Deepak Singh, based on my experience being part of the first cohort of the PLG course with him.

Deepak's dedication to teaching and creating a positive impact was evident not only in his words but also in his actions. He frequently encouraged us to capture, evaluate our learnings and share feedback with the cohort, which enabled great peer learnings as well.

Another aspect of Deepak's teaching that resonated with me was his ability to bring structure to the often chaotic world of product management. His approach is the best out there, and I found it incredibly valuable to learn from his years of experience and wisdom.

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Deepak for consolidating his expertise and making it accessible to us. I am confident that the skills and knowledge I have gained through his course will serve me well in my future endeavours.

Thank you, Deepak, for your commitment to teaching and making a positive impact on your students' lives.

Growth Assessment (Free) by Deepak Singh was one of the exciting thing that I tried today (link in comment). The assessment takes you through 25 questions about Product growth. Here is why I loved it 1. Nobody else that I know has approached product management concepts with such an objectivity. 2. Management is a subjective field and product management being a new field is much more subjective. You will see many subjective point-in-time insights shared on LinkedIn, Twitter. There is a very high chance of failure if you apply these insights without the knowledge of context (Business model, Year, Goal, Customer Segment). That's where such exercise helps. 3. The application of theoretical frameworks changes as per the time and industry. And there are trick questions on this in the assessment. PS: Score-wise I did well, but I enjoyed diversity of the questions.

I am already applying the frameworks I learnt in this cohort in my organisation. Deepak broke down complex concepts in a simple manner that I have become more confident in approaching a problem. My relationship with data has improved. The best part about the course was Deepak himself who went over and above to talk about concepts outside product management too. We had a discussion on AI, Podcasts, case studies and many other things. Even the people in the cohort were really smart and i benefited alot from others questions.

After 3 years of college, and exploring different job responsibilities, I chose product. Maybe this time, the kid in me wanted to tinker her curiosity back. Realised, the only way to not feel stuck and grow in this domain and life in general is to feed my curiosity. Today, I took a step. I applied for Deepak Singh’s pmcurve course and I got through the application. Checked my finances and finally enrolled for the course :)

I recently had taken Deepak Singh's cohort course on product growth, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best investments I have made in my professional development.

Deepak's approach to teaching is both engaging and insightful. He has an incredible depth of knowledge and experience in the field of product growth, and he is able to distill complex concepts into easily.

He covers both the quantitative & the qualitative frameworks for the growth which I felt is critical to understand to build successful products.

Overall, I would highly recommend Deepak Singh's cohort course on product growth to anyone looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in this area. The combination of Deepak's expertise and the collaborative learning environment created by the cohort made for an incredibly rewarding and valuable experience.
