I'm a self-taught designer with a background in Psychology. I chose DesignUp because of its focus on mindful design and because I'm a big fan of Elizabeth's brilliant way of teaching through her free content on Youtube. The curriculum is thoroughly and thoughtfully designed. I was able to review and actually better understand some of the concepts that I came across during my self-taught journey. Since I'm interested in product and design strategy, I was glad to learn more about it in the course. Fun fact, I actually paid for this course using all my stipend at my very first UX Design internship, and it left me with no regret! :)

This is definitely a top masterclass of color harmony & theory, without using empty technical terminology! The examples about how to mix them were just fantastic, as well as the didactic way shown! Thank you for this incredible video!

Remarkable! I finished a course on UX/UI and noticed a huge area for growth in understanding color. I watched other videos on color models and harmonies, which were a great base of understanding, but this takes it an extra level and applies it specifically to UI design. Thank you!

This kind of way of delivering the message with color theory was super practical and super easy to come up with what kinds of themes we (designer) would want to. It was such a valuable sharing but i think we should also need to talk about accessibility with colors that we use. Isn't it our main task to focus on balance mix of a good UX and a beautiful, aesthetic UI delivery right? Anyway, this 20 mins was super useful and thank you so muchhh ️

DesignerUp ❣ handed me a crucial piece of information in another video that brought everything together in my head; COLOR TONES and Tone Pairing. 🤯 Thanks SO MUCH! 🙏 I probably should've known this already 🤦‍♂, but it was never really brought up as a THING 🤷‍♂ in the videos I was watching about Color Harmonies. She even gave saturation and Brightness parameters!

I watched some of Elizabeth's videos and she was good at explaining things. Also, when I wrote with questions, she throughly answered them. Try that with Google's course.

Seriously, this video is one of the most concise and wonderfully explained that I have seen so far here on YouTube! Great job and thank you very much to share this knowledge with us.

This video was so helpful. Seeing the colors broken down in this way helped not make delving into creating my own palette as overwhelming. As someone who likes being able to categorize and break things down that way, I appreciate how you shared all the info ! Definitely saving this for future reference!
