I first heard about HR Jetpack in 2018 from a co-worker. We both decided to study for the SHRM-CP. He opted for the HR Jetpack course, while I opted for self-study using the SHRM Learning System. I managed to pass that exam in December 2018, but found myself rushing through material at the last-minute and wished I'd used a more structured approach to prepare.
Fast forward to early 2025, when I made the decision to go for the SHRM-SCP. This time, I decided to purchase the HR Jetpack course. My schedule can be unpredictable at times, so I chose to do the self-paced lessons taught by Christina Danforth herself. The lessons were extremely helpful as they presented the material in ways that made it easier to understand, complete with real-world examples from Christina's experience as an HR professional, and complemented the SHRM Learning System's reading material and quizzes.
But the real winner? The Elimination Consideration technique. Those lessons alone are worth the price of the course. By the time I finished those lessons, I felt confident in my ability to correctly answer those questions.
I PASSED my SHRM-SCP on 2/6/26!
The best part? Early in the process, I connected with Christina on LinkedIn, and she took the time to message me and give me a helpful hint to review the Situational Judgment Item bonus course. If that didn't make it clear that I needed to review those lessons, nothing would. Once I passed, I messaged Christina to let her know, and again, she took the time to message me back.
In short, I highly recommend HR Jetpack for anyone who wants to put themselves in the best position to pass the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam.

The on-demand videos and material went everywhere with me, it was on play in the car, at the gym, plane rides; everywhere! It was super convenient and the way that Christina laid everything else made so much more sense as I was studying!

The instructors are very knowledgeable and experts in their fields and they provided great insight, tools and tips on ways to be successful on your exam. The information I received and learned was invaluable and I know that it helped me be successful on my exam. Without all of the resources, I don't think I would have passed my exam.

I watched every suggested video and followed the recommended process to the letter! I thought there was no need to "reinvent the wheel" in developing a study plan. This allowed me to maximize my time and energy studying! I really appreciated that there were so many learning options available through the program, so whatever your learning style is, there's an option to set you up for success. I would highly recommend the HR Jetpack program to any of my peers that are preparing for the SHRM certification.
