@shreyas's Managing Your PM Career course makes you confront what career success means to you. Dense, introspective, and honest. Focuses less on climbing ladders, more on carving your own path. 11/10 would recommend for folks with PM experience if offered again in some form

I just finished the Maven course “Managing your PM Career in 2025 and beyond” by the renowned Shreyas Doshi (linked below). He shared valuable insights, provoked meaningful introspection, and was refreshingly candid in his career and life advice. For fellow product leaders who are curious, in his course you’ll gain useful frameworks (and as PMs we all love a good framework) on how to gain clarity on your goals for your career, and then land the roles that will help you achieve them. In addition to the insightful content, you'll also gain a network of people in your class who are excited to grow their careers alongside you. Worth checking out!

When was the last time you deeply thought about managing your career? I did it this weekend and recommend you do it too. If you are a Product manager, I have a course to recommend (link in comment) that is packed with actionable insights and thought provoking content. With the Holidays upon us, a lot of us take the time to assess and plan next steps, so a good time to mull over this option. DM if you want to chat 1:1 on my takeaways. #pmcareer

Here’s what I loved about the course - Practical frameworks and techniques enriched by Shreyas's real-world experiences. - Unique insights on managing and advancing a PM career that you won't find anywhere else. - The course debunked common career misconceptions, introducing concepts like the "Career Map" instead of the typical "Career Ladder." - It goes beyond career growth, focusing on holistic success as a person, not just a professional. - A module in which Shreyas explained different archetypes helped me better understand my strengths as a product leader and craft a personalized approach. - Throughout the course, Shreyas shared invaluable knowledge from top product leaders through his insightful conversations with them. - The cohort itself was amazing, with product leaders from companies like Google, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Atlassian, and more. Being part of this cohort and learning from Shreyas, who is undoubtedly among the top 1% of Product Leaders globally, was an incredible experience. I highly recommend this course to anyone aspiring to be a Product Leader.

Ever wondered what does it mean to manage your career as a product? Last weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to dive deep into this question at Shreyas Doshi’s live PM course. What an amazing ride! Many takeaways, from frameworks and resources to declutter your thought process to fresh perspectives on leveling up your PM skills, but the real game-changer was defining success for yourself. And, some great tools to align your career with your authentic self! Huge shoutout to Shreyas Doshi for this incredible masterclass! And, a special thanks to Shreman Shrestha and the team for orchestrating such a powerful learning experience. lnkd.in/gwpbKDkh

I was fortunate enough to attend this excellent course this past weekend. In a jam-packed two days I walked away with a laundry list of insights, but most importantly an improved sense on how to manage my career and how to coach ambitious PMs on my team. Beyond the information, Shreyas got us to quickly apply the learnings with a SFD and reap the benefits of immediate movement. If you're considering, or on the fence, go for it. You are worth the investment in yourself.

Spent this weekend in a live PM course with Shreyas Doshi. What a ride! Two of my biggest takeaways: 1) Building out the specific plan on how to develop PM/PM leadership competencies 2) How to coach other PMs on their career decisions (frameworks, thought process, leveling across domains, tiers of companies, scope, titles) Overall, I am left with just so much to put in practice after this weekend. Huge thanks to Shreyas Doshi + Shreman Shrestha for putting this course together! lnkd.in/g9aiN4tN

This weekend, I had the privilege of attending Shreyas Doshi's 2-day course, "Managing your PM Career in 2024 and beyond". It was easily one of the most useful courses I've ever taken for my professional growth (kicking myself for not taking this earlier!). Here are some insights for anyone who's interested: 👉 Expect a brutally candid, no BS, and realistic analysis of environments in which Product leaders need to operate and thrive. Don't expect platitudes. 👉 Expect tons of useful frameworks and tools to navigate your Product careers in a variety of work environments - from startups to Fortune 50s 👉 Expect super high intensity in the course. Shreyas gives it his all, and you should too Thanks to Shreyas Doshi, his exceptional team, and all the other fellow participants for the wonderful weekend experience!

"We are so impressed by someone on LinkedIn that we never bother to understand if someone has a happy life. Everything is simple. Just get rid of the garbage in your head" There is so much influencer nonsense and content hustle, that we forget what it means to be authentic and follow your own path. I was fortunate to spend last weekend with Shreyas Doshi and a group of super-ambitious product leaders. Shreyas' Career Management course has been the best investment this year. If you are a Senior PM or a Product Leader, please drop everything and sign up for the next cohort. You will learn how to craft your career on your terms, make authentic career decisions, and get rid of all that garbage in your head that holds you down.

You’ve heard you’re supposed to product mange (PM) your career like you manage your product but what does that actually mean? Think about the high level concepts you apply to a new product - Know your existing product well (data points + user feedback) - Set a north star metric/high level strategic goal - Identify big bets over a longer term horizon - Decompose the big bets into smaller, more practical feature sets - Prioritize your resources based on your strategic priorities What does this look like in applying to your career? - Start with YOU: what is most important to you? your strengths and preferences? what feedback can you solicit to help you better understand yourself and how you’re perceived? - Long Term Goal: in 20+ years where do you want to end up? Exit corporate, start your own company, be financially stable, be time independent, have more variety/excitement in your work? - What 5-7 big bets you can take over that horizon that would get you closer to your end goal? - What skills, experiences, relationships, or milestones do you need to support those bets? - Based on your goals + current assessment - identify the top 3 areas of focus and start making progress (key point being TO START, not stay stuck in analysis paralysis) It makes so much sense but we don’t do it - why? Fear, insecurity, envy, and more get in the way. If we can be honest, logical, and take it one step at a time, we will go farther than most. And if you need it, get support. I knew a lot of this already but hadn’t fully applied it. I took Shreyas Doshi's PM Career Course this weekend and it has lit a fire under me. Here’s the difference in taking a live course with him vs sticking to free content: 1. Complete Frameworks - It's not just about the framework itself. It's the right context, the intersection of one framework with another, and the blockers to applying the framework. These are key differentiators in being able to apply the framework to your life vs knowing it conceptually. He gives you the framing to not just make decisions today but for the rest of your career. 2. Candor and Differentiated Thinking - He shows a ton of empathy but will really push you outside of your comfort zone to new ways of thinking. This shift in thought will get you far better outcomes than following most of the free advice on the internet. 3. Community - the cohort in the class itself was amazing and but you also have the chance to participate in a private community post course to keep applying the knowledge. These resources will stand the test of time as they account for all career levels as well as all company types and stages. Next cohort starts in November: lnkd.in/gVs8Sq4V What resources have you found the most helpful in planning your PM career?

"The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new" This weekend, I had the privilege of attending Shreyas Doshi course, "Managing Your PM Career in 2024 and Beyond." It was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I've made for my professional growth! It was a masterclass indeed. 💡 The course provided exceptional insights and clarity as Shreyas Doshi guided us through a profound journey of self-discovery. His use of examples from his distinguished tech career offered invaluable lessons and a peak into his thought process. To stay consistent, authentic and vulnerable is what was so amazing which I believe is rare and are qualities of a Level 5 leader! 💡This course has provided me with so much more clarity and equipped me with valuable tools and frameworks for navigating my career and life decisions. It has also empowered me to pay it forward and contribute positively whenever possible. I extend my sincere gratitude to Shreyas Doshi and his team including Shreman Shrestha and others for their commitment to excellence, as well as to all the participants who generously shared their experiences and challenges. #leadership #productmanagement #career #growthmindset #learningtolearn #mentors

Really enjoyed Shreyas Doshi's Maven class, "Managing your PM Career in 2024 and beyond" this past weekend! It was intense but super insightful! 💡 In Chinese we have a saying "授之以鱼不如授之以渔 teach others how to fish rather than giving them the fish". The framework together with his ways of thinking career worths every penny invested in this class! Highly recommend PMs to check it out! lnkd.in/gjyvrQHR #product #productmanagement #career #shreyasdoshi #careerdevelopment

This weekend, I attended Shreyas Doshi's course, "Managing Your PM Career in 2024 and Beyond." As Engineering Leader with McKinsey & Company consulting background, I’m not the typical product management audience. However: Successful PMs have a superpower—they turn the potential energy of their teams into realised value (beautiful framing, Kevin Yien). This skill is critical for many roles, especially adjacent ones such as Engineering Leadership. What resonated with me: - Critical Thinking & Influential Communication:  Force multipliers that enhance everything you do. Shreyas provided extremely insightful tips especially on influencing & messaging - Aligning Career Choices with Personal Values: Importance of being awfully honest with yourself about what you truly value and making career choices that align with those values. Whether you're in product management, engineering management, or adjacent roles, the frameworks and insights Shreyas shared will equip you to strengthen and navigate your career with intention. Thank you, Shreyas Doshi, for thought-provoking & inspiring weekend sessions! Thank you to all participants of this cohort who made the many hours energising! Thank you Shreman Shrestha for energising community creation, flawless course logistics and comms! #Leadership #ProductManagement #CriticalThinking #CareerGrowth #EngineeringManagement

I attended Shreyas Doshi's Maven course "Managing Your PM Career in 2024 and Beyond" this weekend, and without a doubt, it’s the best career advice I've ever received. Why? ⭐ Easy-to-use frameworks and templates for career success. ⭐ Helps you define and prioritize what success means in both your career and life. ⭐ No BS, no platitudes - just clear and candid advice. This course doesn’t just give you the steps to succeed in your current job or your next job search, it also teaches you to manage your career like you manage your product. Shreyas is the Yoda of the product world, and fortunately, you don’t have to crash-land on Dagobah to get training from him 😆. Just head over to Maven and enroll in his course:

Spent very energizing weekend at Shreyas Doshi's PM Career Seminar. He helped break down seemingly overwhelming aspects of PM competence and career into simple, accessible frameworks. Beyond access to these frameworks and materials (that I know I will keep coming back to), the best part for me was how articulate, candid and thought-provoking Shreyas was in describing the underlying principles and reminding how much power we actually have that we can act on. If you are an ambitious PM, who are seeking clarity in your path, I cannot recommended this course enough. I feel much more empowered to think about my career more intentionally. The best investment I ever made for myself.

What a cracker of a weekend ! I'm so energised after attending Shreyas Doshi's course - "Managing Your PM Career in 2024 and Beyond". Being the only attendee from this side of the world, waking up to a 1:30 am alarm for two consecutive nights was truly worth it ! Here are my top 3 takeaways: 💡 Shreyas not only shared incredible frameworks but also principles to help one think deeply and critically. 💡 Manage your career like you manage your product. Start with a 3-year goal over a 20-year horizon, and create a roadmap to continuously learn. 💡 Be honest about your definition of "success" and make an intentional effort to achieve it. This is easily one of the best courses available on product management and career development. Highly recommend ! #productmanagement #shreyasdoshi #career #productleadership #professionalgrowth
