We started with the marriage talks that were such a blessing. Next, my husband and I would decided to read through the entire Bible together. This has helped strengthen our marriage and relationship plus our walk with God. That was almost 2 years ago and we’ve kept that tradition to listen to TTW every evening. Thank you!!

This plan has hit home on how short life is. That we should not put off our joy for tomorrow, because tomorrow never comes. At the age of almost 64, I see I should have enjoyed more and stressed less. God has been so good to me

TTW helps me keep my Armor of God Strong! I so wish Kris was in Ohio. We wish at least one of the teachers that are on here had a church in Ohio! As for me and my house we chose TTW to help us have a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Looking forward to trying the journeys together as a family! I don’t think I can properly express the impact, nor my gratitude for TTW. After the death of my wife being together for 40 years in Grief Share someone shared TTW app with me. This was about 2-1/2 years ago. It took a little while before I got started. In the past the Bible was viewed in a different light. Although confirmed at an early age as a Lutheran, the Bible was seldom read and not understood well. Now after going through the studies it has connected with me in a deep way. I realize I don’t know much but I know significantly more than I ever did. The Word has marinated and altered my understanding in an amazing good way. TTW is genuius for someone like me who is not a big reader and super busy in life. Fortunate for me it came into my life. At an early age they said I had dyslexia. So reading back then it may have been viewed as scrambled. Looking back I feel it was God saying to me not now. I had lots of other things in family to process then. Now I am seeing life a lot different from many of those in academia. I can say I was saved from a different path. Gods diverse people on this earth gives opportunity to express our gifts in useful ways. Your TTW teaching tools in the App have bridged a big gap for me. I’m literally crying emotionally with thanksgiving for having received the blessings of the introduction to Gods word. I will start this up again TTW. The lesson plan changed on me a bit. So I look forward to going through it again and possible again after that. I now have a platform/foundation to grow from. I am forever grateful for you and the team. Thank you 🙏 I’m a better boss, grandfather, father, boyfriend, and much more thanks to TTW.

TTW is an excellent app that breaks down the Word of God one chapter at a time. It has so much insight and I love how they have a lot of fun and funny comments throughout the commentary. It has become part of my daily routine and it has helped me enjoy the Bible so much more. Many blessings to the TTW family!!

I absolutely love this app! It’s the perfect way to do devotions for me. I listen on my way to work in the mornings and then it reads the Bible to me. It’s great. Kris Langham gives you his thoughts and resources. It’s awesome!!

I love this app because it makes it easy to understand some of the chapters, because there are chapters that are so confusing. And the insight of others helps clarify so much. 2nd Chronicals has reminded me that even when my heart becomes distracted, I should run back to Him with humility and repentance and He will restore me, so that I can live to bring Him glory in His power.

It has deepend my understanding of the Bible. As I have read through the Bible this year I have also read three books on Grace by Chuck Smith and Philip Yancey. So I have been dealing with how much I have miss what Jesus teaches on dealing with people. I excepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in March 1976 on the USS Saratoga while sitting in Port in the Bay of Naples. it seems like every few years I discover another area in my life that I was way off in dealing with people.

God can change your life. The story of Paul in acts is a good example. Peyton Jones explains very well. I urge you to read the book of acts with Peyton, and learn about the holy spirit healings changed lives. Paul had friends, who went with him on his journey.

1st Peter keeps me grounded in what Jesus teaches us, stay humble, love one another, forgive, stay focused on him in everything you do.

I have went through the ot books that are so hard to understand and usually dreaded, numbers through judges and I looked forward to every time because they made it interesting and understandable. I plan on doing every book and I tell everyone about how much I love this. Thank you for doing this

There's this amazing app called Through the Word that I'm listening to. If you need guidance, I highly recommend this!! I love that it goes chapter by chapter. You really are able to dig deeply and get the most out of reading and studying His Word!

Since I downloaded the through the word app, I’ve been studying Gods Word almost daily. I love the lessons before the scripture reading by different ministers. I often tell my friends and family about what I learn and also the app itself. I love TTW.

I am just in awe of this app and the pastors who have given so much insight. With friends, I have turned one page at a time for almost 3 years. Moving Through the Word has been so enlightening and has given me a love for the word that I never knew I had. As my creator opens my mind to these new words, I am thankful for each of you!!!! I give my Lord Jesus the first hour of my everyday. This usually means that I listen to TTW and Follow along with YouVersion, So that I can highlight, about three chapter. I love the explanations and content that I would normally not get if I just read. I am also a donor, Teachers should get paid for there work. Love you and pray for you all, In Jesus’s name.

This has been amazing so far! Its the First thing I do every morning. I love it so much I have shared it with my Dad and cousin. My Dad has trouble seeing. Now so can't read his Bible. I put this on his iPad so he can listen. He really liked that. Thank you so much for this app:)

Hi there, I’m Amelia, 22 years old, from Indonesia! I first found TTW on the YouVersion Bible App because I was so curious about The Book of Revelations and what it all meant. I never knew that because of that random curiosity, God would have led me to an amazing Bible teacher named Kris Langham. From that day forward, TTW has been a huge part of my journey towards understanding the Word of God. Helping me grow fruitful and closer to Jesus every time.

Loved this plan. Best understanding yet I’ve had of Leviticus! And I especially loved the insights from the book of Galatians.

March 1, 2020 my pastor preached a sermon about reading through the book of Proverbs on months that have 31 days in them. He spoke with such joy of reading through the word. I was not very active in reading my Bible, so a few ladies in my community group at the time decided to take on this challenge! We found a Bible plan through YouVersion that walked us through a chapter a day of Proverbs (Through the Word). By the end of the month, our country was on lockdown. I was locked in (more like locked down….) and felt connected with this group of ladies and we all said- what next?! We decided to continue in the New Testament. Every day, we walked through a chapter of the Bible. We chose YouVersion as our platform because we could easily connect as a group and had a spot to all share our comments. We reached books of the Bible where TTW wasn’t available on YouVersion so we discovered the TTW app and continued to bounce back and forth between the two, working through the Bible. One chapter a day. One day at a time. There were many days I honestly felt like I was "checking a box" to get my reading done, but over the last year of my journey, I have felt the Holy Spirit working through me like I've never felt before. My faith has grown stronger, my marriage has grown stronger, my desire to put others before myself has multiplied exponentially and my reverence and awe of God is one I never knew existed. It's work that only the Lord could accomplish. Today was the last day of my journey. I finished in the Old Testament in the book of Malachi. I've been reflecting on this 3.5+ year journey and just love where it all began. One simple challenge from my Pastor, happening upon a TTW plan on YouVersion, and the rest is history. I’m so thankful to Pastor Kris, Pastor Sandy, Jonathan Ferguson, Skip Heitzig and so many others for pouring your hearts into sharing the word with so many people. Your time and efforts are 10000% noticed, appreciated, and not lost. I’m forever grateful for this journey TTW.

At the end of second Corinthians, Chris shared his poem from his high school days. I found it very beautiful and inspiring. I would like to have a copy of it if possible to read and to revisit I love the through the Word app it is a beautiful gift. Thank you

A blessing! Explaing the Bible with a sense of humor at times. One can also read it on your own and let the Holy Spirit talk to you and they do encourage it. However, some times someone just explains something in a wonderful way and it clicks. Thank you for the app, enlightenment, your time and being a blessing.

I LOVE Through the word. The teachers are AMAZING. I start my day going through 1-3 chapters of the Bible. Kris & the others explain words, phrases , and also time & place. I have read the Bible through by myself but their commentary makes the Bible come alive. I am so grateful for this program. I have finished Law&Grace in the Bible Journey. I love listening TTW on my way to work each day. The lessons Peyton is sharing in Matthew are remind me to see things thru Gods view as mine is so limited.

I started through the word on the youversion bible app as a baby Christian. Then I invited my sisters. Now we are using through the word and discussing bible stories and theology. It’s been three years since I started through the word and it has changed my life and family. Best bible plan to go through the not so interesting bible books. Especially the Old Testament and the bible teacher helps relive the bible stories. Thank you for obeying God.

Habakkuk has been a favourite book for many years. I read it again to give me hope for good victory in the current Israel conflict. This study has opened it in a new way for both hope for that and a conflict within a relationship. Thank you.

Greetings, TTW has been a spiritual life changer for me. I grew up in church, church schools, when ever the doors were open, which I'm thankful for in many ways, (SDA). In my early 40, I found Praise and worship, started some recover issues on my self and left my church. Meaning I left the "truth", and have been on a spiritual journey ever sense. TTW has opened up my heart and mind, to read the Bible without any preconceived ideas. I heard a Pastor say study for yourself (what...) I was on a different devotional app "The Bible version" and I started with Genisis which I knew like the back of my hand, right!! And bam.. Kyrs jumped into my life, from there to Revolution, and so on. Thank you to everyone at TTW, May God bless you and keep safe. And I share this app with everyone. I completed Isaiah walk through by Sandy Williams. I greatly appreciated the talk through which connected this writer to the rest of the Word. He also cited historical references that provide understanding of the times and events written of in Isaiah. The handling of the prophecy is informative and sound. I am reminded to walk with the Lord in sobriety & faith, learning from the example of what the Lord has done with Israel. I should not be proud and arrogant, but humble and obedient as I am equally able to deceive myself and fall into disobedience as they did. The Lord preserved a faithful remnant in their midst from which we benefit today. I also appreciate the light shown in the teaching. One that stands out is the arrogance of the Devil in seeking to corrupt God's honor & place by usurping and twisting the fact that the secret things belong to the Lord. We see Gnostisism and the saying that " the Devil is in the details". NO! He can only take what is and pervert it into lies. The Lord has the details. What he has revealed is what we need to know. What is not known must rest on faith in the character of God.

TTW has helped by giving me a deeper appreciation for God’s Word. I always desired to study the Bible but have never been disciplined to “stay on the course”. This guide helps as a great reminder and keeps me on track. Despite missing a day or two I can always return and start where I stopped. It’s a great reminder and a source of encouragement to delve more into God’s Word to know more about His thoughts and plans for our individual life and those of others. I started TTW with a friend, as I was listening to Joshua on YouVersion, she sent a message to me asking if we would share our studies. She has moved away from our church and I had missed her. So special now to share with a dear friend scriptures that discuss Bible truths to contemplate, meditate through out the day. I love this and will continue to share. We started in Genesis and now in I Kings.

I first fell love with a Through the Word plans on the Bible app. When I found the actual Through the Word app, I was so excited. This app and the Bible app has truly been a blessing to me and my walk with God.

This app has excellent content and commentary. He try’s a little too hard to be funny but if you look past that, really good. Short enough not to waste your time but thorough enough to learn and provoke applicable thought. Highly recommend

Manhood did nothing more than strengthen my faith in myself as A Man of God. Having served in the Army for 36 years I saw many things that provided strength for me to live by in Gods Word. As a Man I owe my:God my life and all that he would have me do. Amen.

My husband and I have been listening for about 4 years. Sometimes we're on the same plan and sometimes different but we share what we learned. And we always learn something new! Matthew was especially meaningful this time because of all that is going on with Israel and the rampant antisemitism worldwide. While it makes our hearts hurt, Matthew reinforces that God's love and His plan will not fail. We love TTW!

I started listening to TTW on 9/16/22 and it has become a daily routine for my spiritual growth. I want to truly know who God is and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Going through Matthew with Payton Jones has been a blessing and helped bring clarity.

So my cousin introduced me to this app and as a family, my cousin and I, we decided to read the entire Bible in three years, a chapter a day. At first I was daunted at the thought of doing this for 3 years but as I started and truly learning the chapters especially books that I spent little time in, I started enjoying it. When I finished the last chapter of the book of Revelation I was sad that I finished reading the Bible. So please give this a try believe me even reading Leviticus was enjoyable! to the pastors who did the teaching of each chapter and books, thank you!

How TTW has helped me is that it lets me study each book in the Bible at my pace and which books I want to start with. Listening to each speaker at night help me to unwind and sleep without nightmares. Many night I cannot sleep and I put in my earbuds and just listen. My prayer is that I retain what I hear in my heart and within my mind. The TTW specific plan that has touched me is Revelations. I understand what it says by listening to Chris explaining the mysteries of each verse. I share with friends and family, because the TTW speaker gives a deeper understanding of what it was like at the time the Bible was written. And this give me understanding of what sharing the Gospel is really about.

First I would like to say THANK YOU! I have always had a hard time keeping my mind from wondering while reading anything. Its just hard to stay focused. Chris this is a game changer for me! Taking one chapter at a time, unraveling the thoughts and meanings within it, with you and the other amazing teachers has allowed me to have a deeper understanding and appreciation for God's Word. I find myself not only following in the app, but Ido it with an open Bible, highlighting and making notes for things to remember. I'm looking forward to the new "together" feature. TTW has helped me in my understanding of the Bible. All the pastors are very good at explaining the verses in each chapter that speak to them at an high level. I am a missionary in Africa and often found Revelation perplexing. How can I teach it if it does not make sense to me personally? I found this study of Kris Langham on YouVersion, and soon looked for and found the TTW app. I love the way the app is put together! The Bible teaching is what keeps me hooked through. Your Revelation teaching was not a milk diet! I found it deep and profound; the teaching making sense and giving me much to think (and talk!) about. I listened to the chapter readings and teaching several times, making notes. For the first time, Revelation makes sense to me!! God’s perfect timing. The teaching in Zephaniah 3 talked about news of Israel’s destruction coming like a family being told treatment failed. It is time for hospice and funeral planning. I made the decision for my mother to enter hospice on Monday, called the funeral home Tuesday, and heard the teaching Wednesday morning. God’s perfect timing.

I love how the Journeys are structured. It is so important to understand how the Old & New Testaments are woven together to lead us to Jesus.

I started listening to TTW about 5 or 6 years ago and I remember that I was inspired by Kris. His love for our Lord and Savior, love for his wife and children and his love for his fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I couldn’t wait to share this with my husband. I also enjoy listening to Johnathan, Payton and the ladies on all the recordings that I have listened to thus far. (Some have come and gone) TTW has deepened my walk with Jesus and continues to do so. I share TTW with friends, family, strangers in the airport, my Bible study group and whoever else I can. Thank you all for all you do to expand Gods kingdom.

I accepted Jesus Christ as a young child but was not brought up in a church. However, my dad did teach me how to pray and build my belief. I went to a Christian high school and, after that, felt the need to have a church family. Unfortunately, I felt like I knew all of the basics, but I did not feel like I was a mature Christian in my mid to late 30s. Through The Word has given me the ability to truly study the Bible daily, and through journey one, I was able to see in Colossians how false teaching can affect so many people and the importance of truly understanding the holy Bible and teaching it to the best of our ability for me this was important because many of my loved ones have been faced with false teaching. I have taught in a Christian school and lead children's church weekly, so this, to me, was very important. I have already shared Through The Word with many people, and I am looking forward to praying about a group study and getting that put together. Thank you for this opportunity to learn and grow in God's Word.

In my morning devotions I am working through the New Testament right now. I am in Galatians, so I listen to the devotional regarding each chapter then I also go to the blue letter Bible and listen to J. Vernon McGee go through that chapter. I'm a retired pastor. I never stopped my daily reading of God's Word from Genesis to Revelation, sometimes going through the whole Bible twice a year. I am now listening to TTW, not only enjoying the Scriptures but also the concise exposition from different Bible teachers. My wife and I are so blessed by TTW that we decided to support it monthly even in a small way, as well as introduce it to others.

Love your app. I really appreciate the daily format. Love the biblical lessons and then reading along with the guy with the awesome accent. The lessons are easily shared with people I meet throughout the day. Thank you.

Every time I read the Bible on the YouVersion app, I follow up with the Through the Word (TTW) app. I love how the TTW preachers bring to life the scripture. They often help me understand what I'm reading. I've been a follower of Jesus Christ for a number of years, but it's just been about three years since I started reading the Bible on a daily basis. TTW has really helped in my journey to be a better Christ follower. I encourage everybody to read the Bible daily. It will change your life.

Absolutely love this resource. I’ve been a Christian for over 15 years and have found it so insightful yet simple and accessible. After being introduced to it, I now help run a Bible study using this guide to help other young adults navigate through the book of James. I first found Through the Word on YouVerson. I can't get enough. This is my second time listening all the way through the Bible using this app. I also like the different options Life changing each time. I've been a user/listener for 4 yrs nows

I have been reading the Bible for a long time, but never have I experienced the Bible in this kind of way! Since I downloaded and signed into the app, I have not only opened it up to read and understand the Word of God, but I have been excited to do so every single morning! I love God's Word! In only a few days, this app has given me a much more creative, exciting, and even fun new way of enjoying the Living Word of God. It feels really great to be excited about God's Word!

Thank you for the great teaching and production of these audio devotionals! Thank you for putting them on your website! With this update I am able to guide my students online with meaningful, chapter-by-chapter study that honors the essence of the salvation message. For myself, I have enjoyed the New Testament one year reading plan! I will finish early since I have been able to skip the ‘rest’ day every 7 days and delve into the next chapter. I wonder if you will bring us the Old Testament reading plan for next year? If you are considering this, please consider bringing it chronologically. One of the hardest things for me has been to wade through how both the major and minor prophets are explained in the books of history. Also, the same events in 1 Samuel are retold in 1 Kings or 1 Chronicles. If I read a book through, it seems like I’m either reading it again or trying to figure out what happened first. I feel like I’m missing the point that God was able to make to the people living in that time. But, again, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR MINISTRY!!! Although I have not yet given, it is on my radar to do so! Deb

I think this is an amazing app. Although I have read most of the Bible, but there is much I don't understand. I must say, though, each time I read a chapter again, the Holy Spirit gives me more understanding. But this app is like having a personal tutor. In addition, I have a hard time deciding each day which part of the Bible I want to read. So I end up jumping around getting only bits amd pieces of it all. I love having a plan to follow. Thanks for this! God is good!

I have been a Christian for many years. I have read the Bible many times. But I absolutely love this app and going through the word with these people. I love the historical and cultural knowledge they bring to the table. I learn something new every day. It’s awesome! So thankful Kris and company obeyed the Lord in this incredible undertaking.

I have only been through the introduction, but... WOW! I am blown away and so excited to share this tomorrow with my Sunday school class and friends! This an excellent app. It teaches, encourages, guides and blesses the heart all about God’s word. I love all of the teachers and I haven't read a plan yet I didn't like. I use this app every day. Thank you through the word for being there every day filling me with God’s truth his precious word. I love Sandi Adams. Going through Isaiah has been absolutely amazing. He can make you laugh and pierce your heart at the same time.

Thanks to TTW I’ve adopted a fairly consistent Bible reading habit over the past two years. It’s water for my soul. Thank you for all the work and effort that goes into this. I LOVE through the Word. It had been such an amazing tool to buddy up with my bible study time! It is such a convenient, accessible way to go a little deeper with my reading and it has genuinely helped me be getting consistently into the word with its quick and truth filled guides! I have been a Christian for about 47 years, give or take a couple of months. As a young Christian, hearing that someone had been a Christian for 40 plus years immediately I thought they must be a giant in the faith and what possibly could someone with that many years under their belt learn any thing new. Well, “I are one of those guys now”. and I am pleased to report that every day I am in the word God blesses me, challenges me, grows me, disciples me and motivates me to share truth “His truth, the only truth”. “Through The Word” has played an enormous role my growth and gaining a clearer understanding of his Word and how it applies to me. All your teachers are a 10 out of a 10. What has been really exciting is how your teachers have helped me understand the Old Testament. I have heard it said that Jesus is on every page of the Old Testament. Well, I don’t know about that but I do get the relationship between the Old Testament and the prophecy of the coming Messiah. The Holy Spirit is actively growing me every week and because of you faithful obedience and listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to start and persistently stay the the course in this ministry, I am joyfully staying the course. I am using Nicky Gumble's Through The Bible in a Year APP and while he does a terrific job sharing applicable principles and thoughts, when in the Old Testament I often go to TTW for clarity and a better understanding of what the Lord is teaching in the books of the Old Testament.
