I love the way Pastor Kris & his friends break down the Bible. They go through each book, each chapter, each verse & break it down so I can grasp what God is saying.

Through The Word App has really impacted me. Helped to listen to God's word even while actively working. I listen to books of the Bible explained in an interesting and intriguing manner. I also pick and listen to topics. I've shared this app with my busy friends God bless the TTW team.

It’s been helpful in so many ways one in my recovery and two to get know the Bible better and three and the most important it’s drawing me closer to God! I shared the app to my wife, son, and daughter and also to at least 7-8 people through text! I absolutely love this app! Thank You for all you do and are doing to spread the word!!!

I have read the Bible through for the last 5 years. At the beginning of this year I decided to do through the word with my daily reading. This has been life changing for me! I have been able to go deeper into the word, understanding what God’s word says. I love Pastor Chris! He adds humor I get lol! I use TTW with my Sunday school lesson and actually anytime I am in God's word I am in Through the word! I’m so thankful for a resource that shares truth.

My family listens to a chapter a night at bedtime. We have been going through the book of Matthew. The other night we listened to chapter 27 and how God poured his wrath on Jesus for our sins. To hear what Jesus endured humbled all of us. We sat stunned and my teenage children were asking questions that demonstrated their awe and gratitude of His sacrifice. It was a moment that only the Holy Spirit could have ushered in.

I have only started using this app, book of Genesis, why not? Start at the beginning! I think is brilliant! Well explained but also gives you room to reflect and research further. Thank you Pastor Kris and the rest of the team.

TTW is where I start each day. Having read through the bible several times I am always looking for a new perspective and you have provided it. It is a big part of my bible study. Thank you. i am still working on the New Testament for further guidance.

The story Jonah, has a great message in it, that being don't try to run from God. He will find you and use you even if you don't believe, like in Daniel with King Nebuchadnezzar, he turned him into an animal and made him truly believe. I really enjoy your teachers and the way they tell what was happening and in a way a layperson like myself can understand. I don't share my reading with others but I love the Lord Jesus and am asking Him everyday for him to give me an opportunity to share the gospel with someone, you see I'm a Door Dasher and I meet and greet many people in a day. I've finished the book of Revelations. I feel it was very important to get a deeper understanding. I pray that this new understanding will help me to better share the importance of a relationship with our Savior now more than ever. Thank you Kris and everyone involved with this AWESOME ministry.

It has drawn me closer to God my father and strengthened my faith in God my father through Jesus my Lord. No one plan has done this for me. As a child of God, I have found that I can be both a lion and lamb for the word oh God. Not much more can I express except He is always there for me and with in the garden daily.

GOD IS ALWAYS WORKING FOR THE RIGHTEOUS !!! I am humbled and the presentation on Habakkuk has really been a blessing. I couldn't wait for the 4 days.....NO the presenter really had me waiting to be enlightened and encouraged. I leave with this that I MUST Wait for God to answer.....turmoil is raging and we don't understand...what happens around us. Good and bad impacts us emotionally and physically. God sees our tears and hears our groaning. Yahweh sees and hears and will respond....THE RIGHTEOUS MUST REMAIN FAITHFUL FOR THE SAKE OF OUR FAMILIES. Yahweh has done it before!!!🙌🙌 This kind of pain is not new to our generation as Habakkuk constantly reflects on past victories.......So cry out to God when the end of our pain and hardship seems very distant. The oppressors in your workplace will reap their reward but so will the FAITHFUL 🙌🙌. Wow, I have always loved to read the section that speaks to praising God when the fig tree does not bud in Chapter 3. I realise that I have more appreciation for it now because the context is real to me now. They will swell and burst but we rejoice and trust YAHWEH, who is NOT silent BUT is working silently 🙂 God and the word is who we should take our misunderstandings and pain to. Habakkuk approached God confused, disappointed and frustrated but left renewed and with a new conviction to PRAISE through the storm and sunamis. HELP ME TO TRUST YOU MORE LORD.

This plan has help me stay in the word. I know the amount of word I have in me is how much faith I have. So I need daily doses. Me and my family do it together. I am so sure it with people on the job.

TTW has actually been so helpful in building a relationship with Lord Jesus. I've shared this app with my siblings and they also found it very helpful. This is a life changing platform and I am thankful to the Lord for providing me such a good app. Jesus bless you.

I just finished 1 Peter with TeDese Ross. It was packed with so much truth and Spirit that I had to linger in each chapter! It led me to read each chapter in various versions and pull out the few commentary books I have to dive even deeper. It helped me to unlearn (with the help of the Holy Spirit) things I had been taught IN Church That just were untrue and not based on the full understanding of Scripture. So thankful today (which happens to be thanksgiving) for TTW. For the truth that is shared and the encouragement for me to go even deeper in understanding God Word and to APPLY what I am leaning in my life.

Having read God's word several times before starting Through The Word ministry, I can say the commentary is not only true but extremely helpful! I've gained historical background and a different sperspective by listening to and reading TTW! I want to personally thank all those who faithfully started and continue to serve with TTW ministries! I often share with friends and social media to share what God is doing through this ministry! I love the way the daily narrative and commentary helps me take a detailed look at various aspects of scripture as they continue to relate to the larger themes of the Biblical story, including the largest theme of all- GOD’s merciful grace and the love of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. I stumbled upon TTW while my daughter and I were searching for a daily solution for her to engage in the Word. My initial experience with God's Word was years ago when I discovered J. Vernon McGee and embarked on the Bible bus journey for five years. That however is not the best fit for a 16-year-old girl. Fortunately, she came across your app and quickly fell in love with it. Rarely does she miss a day without immersing herself in God's word, all thanks to TTW. Inspired by her enthusiasm, I decided to explore it and consider recommending it to others. To my delight, I too became a daily user and fell in love with the commentary and how user friendly the app is. TTW makes it so easy to engage in the Bible, there is really no excuse for believer not to be in the Word daily. Keep up the great work. My daughter, Jessie, and I will be listening.

This study has reinforced the need for me to get back to work to fulfill the ministry that God wants me to do. This ministry is to teach via Bible Study, teaching via sermons at the Community of Hope, being involved in share group, being involved in the various Emmaus Walks, Serving others, and many other doors that God has opened for me. Thank you very much for your TTW Ministry. It has changed my life and enhanced my understanding of the Bible.

I loved listening to Acts and learning new perspectives from Peyton. I learned a lot of history I would not have known. Thanks for hanging in there thru the ups and downs and for making this app free in these challenging times. Y'all are appreciated!

I am not camera-ready so I’ll be sending this via text 😁 Journey #6 was excellent. Albeit a long journey, I loved the round table discussions for Proverbs, and I loved the teaching on the Psalms. They were both very practical. Actually all of the TTW teachings are practical, which is one of the reasons I enjoy them so much and continue starting my day with these devotionals. Thank you for all you do!

TTW has really touched my life in that I’ve been able to take what I’ve studied and used it in my everyday life for the better. It’s made me realize that some areas of my life desperately need to change. It’s made my prayer life so much stronger.

I have read the Bible and in particular the Gospel of Matthew many times. But this study brought it to life. I am truly blessed by this ministry.

We started with the marriage talks that were such a blessing. Next, my husband and I would decided to read through the entire Bible together. This has helped strengthen our marriage and relationship plus our walk with God. That was almost 2 years ago and we’ve kept that tradition to listen to TTW every evening. Thank you!!

This plan has hit home on how short life is. That we should not put off our joy for tomorrow, because tomorrow never comes. At the age of almost 64, I see I should have enjoyed more and stressed less. God has been so good to me

TTW helps me keep my Armor of God Strong! I so wish Kris was in Ohio. We wish at least one of the teachers that are on here had a church in Ohio! I don’t think I can properly express the impact, nor my gratitude for TTW. After the death of my wife being together for 40 years in Grief Share someone shared TTW app with me. This was about 2-1/2 years ago. It took a little while before I got started. In the past the Bible was viewed in a different light. Although confirmed at an early age as a Lutheran, the Bible was seldom read and not understood well. Now after going through the studies it has connected with me in a deep way. I realize I don’t know much but I know significantly more than I ever did. The Word has marinated and altered my understanding in an amazing good way. TTW is genuius for someone like me who is not a big reader and super busy in life. Fortunate for me it came into my life. At an early age they said I had dyslexia. So reading back then it may have been viewed as scrambled. Looking back I feel it was God saying to me not now. I had lots of other things in family to process then. Now I am seeing life a lot different from many of those in academia. I can say I was saved from a different path. Gods diverse people on this earth gives opportunity to express our gifts in useful ways. Your TTW teaching tools in the App have bridged a big gap for me. I’m literally crying emotionally with thanksgiving for having received the blessings of the introduction to Gods word. I will start this up again TTW. The lesson plan changed on me a bit. So I look forward to going through it again and possible again after that. I now have a platform/foundation to grow from. I am forever grateful for you and the team. TTW is an excellent app that breaks down the Word of God one chapter at a time. It has so much insight and I love how they have a lot of fun and funny comments throughout the commentary. It has become part of my daily routine and it has helped me enjoy the Bible so much more. Many blessings to the TTW family!!

I absolutely love this app! It’s the perfect way to do devotions for me. I listen on my way to work in the mornings and then it reads the Bible to me. It’s great. Kris Langham gives you his thoughts and resources. It’s awesome!!

I love this app because it makes it easy to understand some of the chapters, because there are chapters that are so confusing. And the insight of others helps clarify so much. I am so blessed and thankful for this app. I pray that the Lord continues to bless them every day for the work they have done and are doing, in Jesus name Amen Amen

2nd Chronicals has reminded me that even when my heart becomes distracted, I should run back to Him with humility and repentance and He will restore me, so that I can live to bring Him glory in His power.

It has deepend my understanding of the Bible. As I have read through the Bible this year I have also read three books on Grace by Chuck Smith and Philip Yancey. So I have been dealing with how much I have miss what Jesus teaches on dealing with people. I excepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in March 1976 on the USS Saratoga while sitting in Port in the Bay of Naples. it seems like every few years I discover another area in my life that I was way off in dealing with people.

God can change your life. The story of Paul in acts is a good example. Peyton Jones explains very well. I urge you to read the book of acts with Peyton, and learn about the holy spirit healings changed lives. Paul had friends, who went with him on his journey.

1st Peter keeps me grounded in what Jesus teaches us, stay humble, love one another, forgive, stay focused on him in everything you do.

I have went through the ot books that are so hard to understand and usually dreaded, numbers through judges and I looked forward to every time because they made it interesting and understandable. I plan on doing every book and I tell everyone about how much I love this. Thank you for doing this

There's this amazing app called Through the Word that I'm listening to. If you need guidance, I highly recommend this!! I love that it goes chapter by chapter. You really are able to dig deeply and get the most out of reading and studying His Word!

Since I downloaded the through the word app, I’ve been studying Gods Word almost daily. I love the lessons before the scripture reading by different ministers. I often tell my friends and family about what I learn and also the app itself. I love TTW.

I am just in awe of this app and the pastors who have given so much insight. With friends, I have turned one page at a time for almost 3 years. Moving Through the Word has been so enlightening and has given me a love for the word that I never knew I had. As my creator opens my mind to these new words, I am thankful for each of you!!!! I give my Lord Jesus the first hour of my everyday. This usually means that I listen to TTW and Follow along with YouVersion, So that I can highlight, about three chapter. I love the explanations and content that I would normally not get if I just read. I am also a donor, Teachers should get paid for there work. Love you and pray for you all, In Jesus’s name.

This has been amazing so far! Its the First thing I do every morning. I love it so much I have shared it with my Dad and cousin. My Dad has trouble seeing. Now so can't read his Bible. I put this on his iPad so he can listen. He really liked that. Thank you so much for this app:)

Hi there, I’m Amelia, 22 years old, from Indonesia! I first found TTW on the YouVersion Bible App because I was so curious about The Book of Revelations and what it all meant. I never knew that because of that random curiosity, God would have led me to an amazing Bible teacher named Kris Langham. From that day forward, TTW has been a huge part of my journey towards understanding the Word of God. Helping me grow fruitful and closer to Jesus every time.

Loved this plan. Best understanding yet I’ve had of Leviticus! And I especially loved the insights from the book of Galatians.

March 1, 2020 my pastor preached a sermon about reading through the book of Proverbs on months that have 31 days in them. He spoke with such joy of reading through the word. I was not very active in reading my Bible, so a few ladies in my community group at the time decided to take on this challenge! We found a Bible plan through YouVersion that walked us through a chapter a day of Proverbs (Through the Word). By the end of the month, our country was on lockdown. I was locked in (more like locked down….) and felt connected with this group of ladies and we all said- what next?! We decided to continue in the New Testament. Every day, we walked through a chapter of the Bible. We chose YouVersion as our platform because we could easily connect as a group and had a spot to all share our comments. We reached books of the Bible where TTW wasn’t available on YouVersion so we discovered the TTW app and continued to bounce back and forth between the two, working through the Bible. One chapter a day. One day at a time. There were many days I honestly felt like I was "checking a box" to get my reading done, but over the last year of my journey, I have felt the Holy Spirit working through me like I've never felt before. My faith has grown stronger, my marriage has grown stronger, my desire to put others before myself has multiplied exponentially and my reverence and awe of God is one I never knew existed. It's work that only the Lord could accomplish. Today was the last day of my journey. I finished in the Old Testament in the book of Malachi. I've been reflecting on this 3.5+ year journey and just love where it all began. One simple challenge from my Pastor, happening upon a TTW plan on YouVersion, and the rest is history. I’m so thankful to Pastor Kris, Pastor Sandy, Jonathan Ferguson, Skip Heitzig and so many others for pouring your hearts into sharing the word with so many people. Your time and efforts are 10000% noticed, appreciated, and not lost. I’m forever grateful for this journey TTW.

At the end of second Corinthians, Chris shared his poem from his high school days. I found it very beautiful and inspiring. I would like to have a copy of it if possible to read and to revisit I love the through the Word app it is a beautiful gift. Thank you

A blessing! Explaing the Bible with a sense of humor at times. One can also read it on your own and let the Holy Spirit talk to you and they do encourage it. However, some times someone just explains something in a wonderful way and it clicks. Thank you for the app, enlightenment, your time and being a blessing.

I LOVE Through the word. The teachers are AMAZING. I start my day going through 1-3 chapters of the Bible. Kris & the others explain words, phrases , and also time & place. I have read the Bible through by myself but their commentary makes the Bible come alive. I am so grateful for this program. I have finished Law&Grace in the Bible Journey. I love listening TTW on my way to work each day. The lessons Peyton is sharing in Matthew are remind me to see things thru Gods view as mine is so limited.

I started through the word on the youversion bible app as a baby Christian. Then I invited my sisters. Now we are using through the word and discussing bible stories and theology. It’s been three years since I started through the word and it has changed my life and family. Best bible plan to go through the not so interesting bible books. Especially the Old Testament and the bible teacher helps relive the bible stories. Thank you for obeying God.

Habakkuk has been a favourite book for many years. I read it again to give me hope for good victory in the current Israel conflict. This study has opened it in a new way for both hope for that and a conflict within a relationship. Thank you.

Greetings, TTW has been a spiritual life changer for me. I grew up in church, church schools, when ever the doors were open, which I'm thankful for in many ways, (SDA). In my early 40, I found Praise and worship, started some recover issues on my self and left my church. Meaning I left the "truth", and have been on a spiritual journey ever sense. TTW has opened up my heart and mind, to read the Bible without any preconceived ideas. I heard a Pastor say study for yourself (what...) I was on a different devotional app "The Bible version" and I started with Genisis which I knew like the back of my hand, right!! And bam.. Kyrs jumped into my life, from there to Revolution, and so on. Thank you to everyone at TTW, May God bless you and keep safe. And I share this app with everyone. I completed Isaiah walk through by Sandy Williams. I greatly appreciated the talk through which connected this writer to the rest of the Word. He also cited historical references that provide understanding of the times and events written of in Isaiah. The handling of the prophecy is informative and sound. I am reminded to walk with the Lord in sobriety & faith, learning from the example of what the Lord has done with Israel. I should not be proud and arrogant, but humble and obedient as I am equally able to deceive myself and fall into disobedience as they did. The Lord preserved a faithful remnant in their midst from which we benefit today. I also appreciate the light shown in the teaching. One that stands out is the arrogance of the Devil in seeking to corrupt God's honor & place by usurping and twisting the fact that the secret things belong to the Lord. We see Gnostisism and the saying that " the Devil is in the details". NO! He can only take what is and pervert it into lies. The Lord has the details. What he has revealed is what we need to know. What is not known must rest on faith in the character of God.

TTW has helped by giving me a deeper appreciation for God’s Word. I always desired to study the Bible but have never been disciplined to “stay on the course”. This guide helps as a great reminder and keeps me on track. Despite missing a day or two I can always return and start where I stopped. It’s a great reminder and a source of encouragement to delve more into God’s Word to know more about His thoughts and plans for our individual life and those of others. I started TTW with a friend, as I was listening to Joshua on YouVersion, she sent a message to me asking if we would share our studies. She has moved away from our church and I had missed her. So special now to share with a dear friend scriptures that discuss Bible truths to contemplate, meditate through out the day. I love this and will continue to share. We started in Genesis and now in I Kings.

The Lords’s prayer has taken on new meaning… or rather it has become MEANINGFUL . for the first time it’s not just something to recite but actually something to think about.

I first fell love with a Through the Word plans on the Bible app. When I found the actual Through the Word app, I was so excited. This app and the Bible app has truly been a blessing to me and my walk with God.

This app has excellent content and commentary. He try’s a little too hard to be funny but if you look past that, really good. Short enough not to waste your time but thorough enough to learn and provoke applicable thought. Highly recommend

Manhood did nothing more than strengthen my faith in myself as A Man of God. Having served in the Army for 36 years I saw many things that provided strength for me to live by in Gods Word. As a Man I owe my:God my life and all that he would have me do. Amen.

My husband and I have been listening for about 4 years. Sometimes we're on the same plan and sometimes different but we share what we learned. And we always learn something new! Matthew was especially meaningful this time because of all that is going on with Israel and the rampant antisemitism worldwide. While it makes our hearts hurt, Matthew reinforces that God's love and His plan will not fail. We love TTW!

I started listening to TTW on 9/16/22 and it has become a daily routine for my spiritual growth. I want to truly know who God is and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Going through Matthew with Payton Jones has been a blessing and helped bring clarity.

So my cousin introduced me to this app and as a family, my cousin and I, we decided to read the entire Bible in three years, a chapter a day. At first I was daunted at the thought of doing this for 3 years but as I started and truly learning the chapters especially books that I spent little time in, I started enjoying it. When I finished the last chapter of the book of Revelation I was sad that I finished reading the Bible.
