The book of Esther showed me that although God may not seem to be present in my life, that He is always, always with me with every step I take.

TTW has helped me tremendously i finished reading the Bible a big thanks to all the pastors of TTW. I always had difficulty understanding the pastors at church due to language barrier or I couldn’t hear them clearly, I also plan on hearing it again. I noticed that when a tough situation occurred in my life that what ever I was hearing at TTW it was like perfect timing which I knew god did thank to him always. A big thank you to the creators of TTW first god then the pastors I love listening to you all I never felt that before. I try to tell everybody at my work about god and TTW who ever wants to listen to me. I would like to ask for your prayers in helping me change my ways to god ways. I want to store my treasures in heaven not in this world. I thank god for you all and TTW love you all!!!!q

I've just started, I've done Mark now I'm on Colossians and so far I love how the scripture is broken down so that we can understand. It's true most churches don't teach the bible word for word. Thank you Kris for demystifying the 'hidden gospel' I've always been intrigued by it.

I have been using TTW on and off for about 3 years now and it has been an integral part of how God is transforming my life and the life of others. I am excited to be leading a number of young men in their journeys through the new “Together” feature. It is amazing to see others growing and encouraging to be growing with them. Doing the TTW whole Bible plan really made a difference to me when I was out of work and waiting on God to bring me the job that He gave me the vision to pursue many years prior. Listening to the story of Abram and Sarai in Genesis, with Kris Langham’s commentary about how hard it can be to wait for God to fulfill his word in your life, really struck a chord with me. I have read the Bible through a number of times, but God put this podcast into my life to remind me not to try to do things based on my own understanding. It reminded to continue to wait for God and let Him do the work. He is trustworthy and faithful. I’m sure there will be many other instances as I continue with this podcast. Hello, I have spent a lot of time here reading, the message of Gal. speaks to me about faith based on grace. Thank you Chris for the broad look on this book which helps to understand and engage with the word. I shared this with others for today l feel that if I am adopted, an heir and of the same image of Jesus Christ l am special, then l say the grace of which we’re given is true for us all. You see the meaning of following Jesus’ gift of life from an undeserving position makes me appreciate the endless sacrifices behind the scenes l get daily bcos of Jesus dying on the cross interceding . His mercy and grace rewrote my life for which l cannot thank God enough. Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.

I started TTW a few years ago and it has helped me understand my Bible so much more and the entertaining way you all hold my attention is wonderful! I recently learned that my husband was struggling with a porn addiction that led to an emotional cheating situation. Long story short, I ended up getting physically hurt unintentionally and it has led to 2 surgeries, a skin graft, severe infection and 3 months of being being disabled. I just finished listening to Mathew again and being reminded of the forgiveness that I have received and need to give as well. I’m so thankful to have TTW and give what I can when I can. I’ve tried to invite others to do studies with me and occasionally I just post the link on my Facebook page and ask people to join me. My husband and I also did the marriage ones which I absolutely love! The way that everything is explained and worked through is so down to earth and relatable yet you don’t tweak it around to say anything other than what it says. Thanks to God for leading you all to this and thanks to you all for leading us Through The Word.

I have been trying to lead a womens small group for just over a year. Being a new Christian trying to lead 3 other new Christian has been challenging to say the least. We have been using primarily the Bible app to get into a habit and dabbled in the actual Bible.....but it was very intimidating.....this App is our missing link. TTW has been a very great tool I have used to deepen my understanding of the scriptures. Am so grateful for this APP it makes it easy to plan, read and understand the scriptures. I have just finished the journey of Law and Grace and what a journey it has been, I am grateful for Jesus I saw Him in chronicles, Leviticus and in the Epistles and I endeavor to live by the Spirit under Grace and not by the flesh - the law. I was introduced to TTW by a brother in Christ and I have been sharing this with different groups and friends.

I really appreciate this plan. It helped me put alot of things into perspective. I too was fasting when I read this plan . It helped me to realize it was not so much about giving up food as it was about a spirit of humility. It also made me think about my posture in coming to God. TTW helps me by breaking down the word into small understanding pieces easy to digest. This proverbs plan helps me with my yearning to study wisdom so I can share with my family. I share what I learn through discussion when specific topics come up in our daily life. I share how the wisdom of the proverbs can help navigate our lives in the world today.

I’m going through the Bible verse by verse the second time in my life despite being a believer for years! I’m teaching Romans to teens and praying the Psalms. Thank you for simplifying things and making it relevant so the Word can be taught more effectively.

I have really been blessed and encouraged through the ministry of TTW. Changing times and responsibilities face all of us and this resource helps me to have a greater and clearer understanding and in depth knowledge of God’s word and His ways.

I am almost 50. All my life I have felt a "pull" to the Lord. I have been in and out of church, read the Bible, cover to cover and said my prayers daily. However I always knew I was missing something...an understanding. I knew the story of Jesus and firmly believed with my whole heart, but what was I missing... why wasn't I "getting it" and living like other Christians? Then, I found this amazing app and I started listening to it every morning....2,3, sometimes 4 lessons. Whatever I could squeeze in. Finally, The Word, The Bible, The Message began to make sense. I was baptized 10 years ago, but I finally felt like I was reborn into this life. I just listened to one of the B sides of Ephesians in Journey 4 where you talk about feeling this need to do Through The Word to help save a soul. Well let me say, you are a blessing to me and God has absolutely used this tool to save my soul. I never thought I would have the gift of understanding the way I am beginning to now. I am beyond grateful. I am excited about my new life in Christ and I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work and dedication in putting together this app and using the gifts that gave you to teach. I'm a pastor here in SC and have grown up in church helping with audio specifically and all the other hats that come with it. I want to thank everyone involved for making TTW such a great experience. You have truly changed my life by helping me understand the Bible. I grew up in a church attending every Sunday so I’ve been exposed to God’s word from an early age, but it wasn’t until recently when introduced to TTW that I feel I truly get it. Hello Chris My sis shared TTW with me and it felt like a present I’d been waiting for. The readings continuous play and discussions are a very rewarding addition to a deeper understanding of the bible. Sandy Adams’ depth of knowledge presents the book’s of Psalms that expands my faith in a laymans perspective encouraging me to engage with God through Jesus. I ask God this Christmas for TTW to expand in ways to touch the elderly, blind, mobility changed, needy, truly the world in a free podcast or radio for all must hear what the word of the Lord can do like l have. TTW literally confirms “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good “

I have always been a believer but have never read the Bible. I’m 45 now and can’t believe I have waited this long. I knew the main picture, but never really understood. In 2024, me and my son have decided to do each of the books in whatever order he picks. We did the NT in a year via YouVersion and he had a blast with that one as we got some other people to join in on it. I have to thank TTW (especially Peyton Jones though all the teachers rock) for breaking the Bible down as they do. You'll have made it so much easier for my autistic teenager to not only understand the Bible but to look forward to listening to TTW Bible plans everyday! And Peyton Jones is his favorite teacher, I don't know why, he just is, with Kris being a close second. So when Peyton took time out of his life to actually email my son, yeah my kiddo still talks about it like the most famous person in the world emailed him. Thank you again for everything that you do, you are all the most amazing teachers.

The NT1Y plan got me back into the Bible daily. It also gave me encouragement to be a better father and husband by sharing this plan with my family. I first found Through The Word when i became a believer 4 years ago and it was a joy for me to study the Bible with the journey #1 series. And life happened i grow weary in my faith journey. I lost my joy in 2023 and started acting like a Christian Robot! And i knew i had to do something and i started this series again. And believe me or not it ignited the joy again and started to feel my joy and my love for the LORD like the first months of my faith journey. Thank you for all your hardwork TTW Team!

I listen to a chapter each night before bed. Something always speaks directly to me. I think Roman’s 14 is my favorite. I want to shout to the world. I immediately texted my kids and said “read Romans 14”. Thank you so much for what you all are doing. I love this app.

I want to start my story by saying you guys are awesome I have always thought myself to be a Believer and to be a person when I started through the word I realized I was none of those your teaching through the Bible as taught me to be humble and a serious 2x4 plank of humility. since I've realized only through me admitting I am weak God’s strength can shine through me now I have learned that when people boast I boost in my weakness as Paul said and it's amazing to see how god works and one of the small things that I picked up from Chris is every time I think of Jesus there's a voice that just says awesome thank you guys for showing me the Awesome light of Jesus by explaining the Bible so easy to understand I am sure you guys are blessed every single day for the blessing that you give thousands of people every day maybe not in this earth but the one we will inherit one day. I love to hear the Bible come to life when I listen to the stories over and over again sometimes I hear things I didn’t before I love the fact that the characters are broken down with a story teller then you hear the reading of God’s word right after it would be nice if it was multiple choices after just to see if you were paying attention 😂

This book of 1 Timothy is truly a blessing. This book gave me insight; removing several misconceptions that I had heard, yet never really understood mostly due to not reading the word for myself. I am elated to know that God does give instruction and I am grateful, that TTW expresses those things that in a comprehensive manner for those that may be babes in Christ, who may not understand at first glance.

I found TTW in the Bible app in 2020. I found the “Matthew Explained” series and started saving every plan I came across and eventually realized there was an app and downloaded it. I have completed several books of the Bible with TTW, but three have stood out to me the most. The first, Revelation! That is such a hard book to understand and Kris helped me to understand that book much better than I did before. I read the first book of Pslams with Sandy and it really changed my prayer life! The most recent, the book of Daniel! The book of Daniel wrecked my world in a good way a couple months ago. I truly pray to have the courage, bravery, and obedience that Daniel and the rest had! I tell everyone about this app! Everyone who is knew to the faith or even more mature than I am in the faith. Thank you so much for this app and all the hard work! I haven’t ever been able to get through Leviticus when I committed to read the Bible from cover to cover, so therefore I felt like a complete failure. I felt guilty for disrespecting God’s word. I would’ve never correlated Jesus with Leviticus so I sincerely thank you for your vision. I feel so very grateful for this app and your insight to each chapter it’s truly making my brain and heart explode with knowledge and love for God and His word. I just want to shout the glory of the Lord for leading me here!!!!!

I love Through the Word! I first found it on You Version then had to look for it. I have learned so much and gotten some different perspectives which challenged what I had believed. That was good! I have recommended TTW to my Life Group, ladies at the jail for when they get out, (I am a chaplain there), and my hygienist even wrote down the information. I am in the prayer team and have told people who come for prayer about it. It is simple to do, the teachers are great and make it fun and interesting. My husband also listens to his own reading plan every night. Actually lots of times we listen to each other’s. I pray for TTW!

I started TTW several years ago and it is my go to during my daily Bible study and reading. The explanation is so insightful and spurs me to want to listen more. I have shared with so many family members and friends. I have a Quest Bible and it lines up with TTW. I like the new version. I will continue to use TTW. I don’t thee luxury of attending a church service at the moment so you version and TTW are my way of connecting with Jesus and his word. Your plans are my lifeline I am about to finish journey 10 it helps with reading books of the bible I would not have read before. Your team bring issues to life as if the children of Israel are like us today. I can’t understand why they would rebel against the Lord then but can see how with the different ways people react today how God sees us and mourns for his children. TTW has helped me to stay focused on God and his word. I am a person who disliked reading, could not focus. Been dealing with what I didn't know were anxious thoughts lately, but God used the plan on anxiety to help me see again that He knows and sees me. It felt like fresh water cool water on a very hot day.

My husband, three young daughters and myself are missionaries in Ghana West Africa. We often feel the pressure and push back from the enemy because we are here taking over his territory for the kingdom of God. TTW has been such a blessing to me, it’s like my anchor, I can’t wait to get up in the early morning and spend time in the word. TTW helps me stay in the word and really get more out of what I read! My husband also has started listening to TTW every day, and we are trying to figure out a way that we can share it with more people here in Ghana.

My husband and I are going through the Marriage Talk series together and are so grateful for the practical wisdom and new insights. We are leading the marriage ministry at our church and plan to start a virtual discussion group using the Marriage Talk series.

I started my journey 2 years ago. I had made a declaration, to myself, to start reading through the Bible. This helped me with understanding each book that I was reading. I loved being able to listen to the chapter while I was getting ready for the day. I started in Numbers and now I just finished Matthew!

Accountability is an important element in spiritual growth. Through the Word App has enabled my adult son and I to hold each other accountable in the reading of God's Word. As I live in the state of New York and my son in lives in Texas, we have been able to share the blessings and challenges of God's Word as we study the book of Isaiah through your app. The result has fostered in my son a desire to read God's Word daily and share with me the applications that it brings. Through the word was recommended by a friend at church. Over the last year I have really become involved within the church after many years away. This time is feeling different though as I have truly started to pursue Christ as my Lord and Savior and live as he lived. It has done wonders for my marriage for my job as a father, and my role as a nurse. I recommended this app to my brother and my mom as well to help strengthen their own faith as I do believe that it is easy to make excuses to prevent opening the book. Rather there are little to no excuses for not opening the app as we always have our phone we can listen to it wherever we drive. Love the app and thank you for all you do.

3 years ago I used an app to read through the Bible in a year. It was both satisfying and exhausting - a grand overview. I wanted to read the Bible chapter by chapter. A Google search brought me to TTW. I printed a chronology of the NT and began a journey through the NT with TTW. I was hooked! I am currently reading through the OT. I have not missed a day in 2 years! Daily ready has become a habit! I so look forward to my Jesus time every morning. I have shared my experience using TTW with family, friends, and church family. TTW is a blessing everyday! ☀️

I have listened to TTW for just a couple of years, and today it has been the greatest help. I’m mourning the loss of a great friend and brother in the faith and was asking the question why now. I know Gods ways and plans are higher and greater than our own, but it still does not take away the hurt. Well today I decided to listen to the Book of Esther, since it has been a book I have been listening to and thinking about recently, and came to chapter 10. What John Ferguson said really had an impact. I think about how though the name of God does not appear in Esther, His hand is seen in every detail of the events that take place in Esther, and when talking about how the events were recorded as a record of God’s goodness to His people, I think about the memories of my friend recorded on social of people across the nation and world whom he impacted. Though his faith has been made sight, two things I take away: God makes no mistakes, and God is working where I cannot see: and today’s listening of the Book of Esther helped me out with that.

My name is Krista. This app help me refocus and find my way home during a time when my world had been turned upside down. In 2019 I had lost my mother suddenly and really felt a need to come back and find my faith. I was searching in my app store for someway to get back to God since I could not g go to church because I was caregiving for my dad and then immediately there after Covid. This app help me refocus and get through a difficult time of caring for my dad, and eventually dealing with his death. I continue to use this app daily now calling at my time with my heavenly father.

I found TTW when I was looking for ways to keep my faith up when my husband was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma and the prognosis was grim. I listened to youversion and found Chris Langham Bible studies. I listened to every study on there and one day I realized he had his own app! I did a search and there it was. It was as if God had smiled on me. I loved the app so much I shared it with my husband and he started using it daily as well. My husband is now in remission and we are praising the Lord. A few years later I was diagnosed with lymphoma and a brain tumor. I listen to TTW for at least an hour a day now. My mother couldn’t get over how I was handling my diagnosis and I shared TTW with her. She is 87 and loves it so much because she has macular and it’s hard to read. She has been sharing with everyone about that app. She was in the grocery store in line telling a woman about TTW and shared the app with her. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into these studies. I am on journey 15 and it truly does strengthen my faith and make me desire a close walk with our Lord. God is using you in mighty ways.

A girlfriend at a bible study recommended this app in 2021. I was going through a very difficult season and I thought that I had all the answers and the leaders at church couldn’t offer real help.
