Wall of Love for TTW

I discovered TTW about 6 months ago. I have learned so much about how to deepen my relationship with God through the different chapters I have listened to. I just finished the book of Ephesians. I LOVED IT! I only wish I had listened to this when I first became a Christian and started raising my family. I especially liked the B side add ons. And the ones on parenting, I will put to great use with my grandkids now. Thank you so much Pastor Langham for your willingness to follow God's word and to teach otgers

Thank God for you all at Through the Word. It has truly been a blessing to me. I love how the Word of God is broken down for you into pieces that are easily digestible. My walk with the Lord is growing day by day, changing my life and renewing my mind. Through the Word is apart of my daily devotion to God. Everyday, the most important thing that I can put on is the Word of God, and I can listen to all the wonderful teachers/teachings right here on this beautiful Bible App. Thank you and may Father continue to give you inspiration and guidance. You all makes a difference more than you know.

I appreciated having the commentary prior to the reading of the chapter. This helped to understand what was going on and the setting and culture of that day. Also hearing it twice.

Through the Word is the beauty of God, explained. Through understanding, I have carried my favorite scriptures, in my heart.

TTW has helped me understand the Bible in a greater depth. There are concepts that I miss when reading the Bible. TTW brings that into focus for me. TTW helps me stay on point. I like reading the scripture first and listen to the commentary then listen to the narration of the Bible. I share TTW with my friends at church and with people I know. I share how I study the Bible. I usually run across people who use TTW already. It’s been a blessing in my life!

Shout out TTW Pastor Kris and staff. I really enjoy all of your plans. I was hooked after I did the Revelations explained. I am now on the Book of Daniel explained. I have learned so much in all the plans. This Bible study is shared with my church member. We make comments and keep it moving. I like the one about Bible teachers where it’s ok to say I don’t know or I’m not sure. So many people focus on themselves and displaying how much they know rather than focusing the word. I’ve seen them Correct the pastor during bible study. One told the pastor she loves the Lord more than he does. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Kris I just finished chapter 7 second Corinthians in journey seven. I was never one of your youth students because I am probably 10 years older than you are. But I came across through the word app about a year ago and it’s been such a blessing from the first time, I started reading and listening to it. Great job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m not certain how many years I’ve been learning and enjoying Through The Word Bible journey. My first introduction was simply the four gospels. Since then I’ve enjoyed all of the 19 journeys, and am now into the NTY. I’m looking forward the study into the minor prophets. And if you create a study into the “major prophets “ I’ll enjoy that as well.” What is amazing to me, is that as often as I’ve reread the same books, however in a different order, or context, the story seems different. It’s likely my comprehension, or perhaps It is the Lord revealing more of himself to me, as long as I’m willing to listen and read. It is exciting that the “do overs” … (a technical golf term) is more so revealing and more understandable. I’m 80, I’ve known that Jesus is the son of God and is my savior for most of my life, my mother made sure of that as she taught Sunday School and gave me no slack. I’m blessed because of her. And I’m blessed through your assortments of Pastors, their humor, their love for Jesus, and for me. God Bless you all. Doug Turnbull

Amazing app and the fact that it's free makes it even better. I'm excited to read the word each and every day now because this app helped me understand the importance of the word and how Jesus loves us

First of all God is amazing Jesus is Love This journey has truly opened my eyes to grace and love Unfortunately I have been walking around with a more judgmental mindset than I thought I was brought up in a legalistic religion Thank God I was saved from that emptiness This morning I received what I call a God smack I prayed this morning for God to continue to open my eyes to the sin that is in my life and to also allow me to walk in the spirit today I thought I was done with journey 4 so as I’m trying to go to journey 5 , 4 showed me I was at 97 % so I hit the arrow to see what I missed It took me to Gal. 5 then to 6 I was then at 98% I hit the arrow to again see what I missed It took me to Eph. 2,3an 4 Oh wow were my eyes opened this morning I thought that because Jesus confronted the religious leaders of that day, I was right with judging the people that are of the same mindset I WAS WRONG God open my eyes to true Grace and Love this morning with those scriptures I felt a gentleness come over my body that I can’t put words to Thank God for the spirit that dwells within me God reinforced the importance of grace while I was on my way to the store after studying The song He changed my name came on my music app The words in the song (says he changed my name from too far gone to saved by grace What a wonderful statement that is to me today

TTW has brought life to my Bible study. Amazing insights I’ve never heard before. Friends and I started Journey 2 together at the request of one of our members, we csll ourselves The Five that activity is TTW5.

Excellent Bible teaching in such an accessible, easy way. Kris is a great teacher. Brilliant for those new to Christianity and those with a mature faith too. Always something to learn. Thank you so much. I highly recommend!

I have an hour drive to work. I start everyday in my truck with through the word. I’m learning so much. The speakers have become my friends. I look forward to my long drive because of this app. I went to a Christian school growing up, but I am learning so much more than ever! Thank you for this wonderful app!

In my daily reading of God’s word I often struggled thru the book of Hebrews. Someone suggested your app and instantly downloaded and went right to Hebrew. It was clearer and more easily understood. Thank you.

TTW has helped me to get back to a daily habit of reading and studying the Bible. I stopped doing that for awhile but thanks to TTW, I’m back on track. It makes me realize that my focus has been on the wrong things! Thanks for helping me to refocus my life on the things that matter most; my relationship with my Father in heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ!

This study has increased my knowledge of Jesus, increase my desire to be more like Him, and increased my desire to know Jesus motedsily!

Kris, today is 2/18/24. On 1/1/21, I began reading one chapter of the Bible at a time. I was searching for a means by which to study each chapter. I found TTW as a Bible plan through the YouVersion Bible app. For the last three years, one month, and 18 days I have thoroughly enjoyed, listening to The commentary on every chapter of the Bible as presented through your app. I simply cannot put into words with the effort of you and the team at TTW have meant to me over that time. my life has changed for the better in more ways than I can count. I am forever. Thankful to you and everyone who has been part of presenting the Bible with you. I am forever grateful. Tim

TTW gives me a clearer picture and it is much easier to understand with the commentary. I often share with friends through email. I do talk about TTW also and let people know what an awesome learning tool it is.

I love the fact that I can listen while I work . The pastors presenting do a great job breaking down the text into easy to understand wording, plus I love a good dose of humor to bring the scriptures to life! It has touched my life by drawling me and my wife into learning more together, as we absorb HIS story from your voice and growing spirituality as one . Good day Admins at Through The Word. It has really been blessings having this app on my phone. Algorithm actually brought it up on one of the adverts and I was glad I downloaded it. It has really helped my understanding of the scriptures particularly some controversial ones. I so much love the fact that the teachers are not imposing their thoughts and perspectives on the listeners but to help them to see what the scriptures are saying and leave them to form their own belief systems and opinions. I loved your explanation of James versus Paul. I always avoided James feeling like he was saying I wasn't doing enough and read Paul because He reassured that it was Jesus who had done it all. Now I understand they are explaining the same thing from two different view points but are in complete agreement. Thank you! That was awesome!

I just downloaded this app, and it's giving me so much good vibes, I think I finally found what I've been looking for. I've been looking for something that I can use to learn and know more about the Bible, and this so gives it and more to me. Thank you. Plus the UI is awesome!

This is my favorite Bible app so far. I am doing a chronological Year study of the Bible in TTW and I love it. I love Kris Lang and Sandi Adams. I recommend this app to everyone.

This app changed my life. I’ve always been involved in church, but never really understood the Bible as a complete story. Having it explained via this app has infinitely deepened my connection with God, as well as just given me more insight into the most awesome history book in the entire world. I get excited to read my Bible now and learn new things every day. It’s become a book I don’t want to put down!

This app transformed my understanding of the Bible & my consistency reading it. This is so well done, whether you have never read the Bible or have been raised with it. I find the format of this app so user friendly that it plays the Bible in audio format & moves straight to the audio teaching, all in one app. Perfect for me as a busy mom trying to get the Bible in as a daily habit. I look forward to waking up & pressing play every morning. I also really appreciate that it is Book by Book, Chapter by Chapter, as it’s how I agree the Bible needs to be taught for context. But the Journeys are even more impactful as they group books into themes with commentary that ties it altogether. No more trying to figure out what book to read next, or choosing chronological order only, where you lose steam in the levitical law. Journey 1 starts out with Mark during the life of Jesus, & then to Colossians, a letter to a church of new believers where Jesus is now in heaven, explaining what it looks like to be a Christian. I am also very aware of the false doctrines within the church & these teachers do a great job at keeping the focus on the truth of salvation. Bank tellers are taught to study the real $100 dollar bill, so they’ll know the truth so well, they can easily spot the counterfeit. I find that these teachers do the same, they teach the truth so well that it is easy to identify these false doctrines, that aren’t found in scripture or are refuted by scripture, without having to call each one out. So not only is the app designed to be very user friendly, easy to become a daily habit, but the quality of the teachings are right on point. What a gift this is to anyone wanting to grow in their knowledge of the Bible. What a beautiful presentation of the gospel delivered in an app that just works with the modern age. I set the readings to start with the scripture reading so that I can see what stands out to me & what questions I may have. Then I have it play the teaching so I can see what they focus on as the significance of the passage. Finally, I listen to the scripture again to see if I hear what they explained, if I still have questions, or even to just commit the scripture to memory. My settings are set to “Bible, guide, Bible.” I refer this app to everyone I know, and I tell them to make sure they start with the plan “TTW Intro” because it gives a really good 3 day start on how to get the most from the app. Well done Through the Word!! Highly impressed & very thankful for your dedication to this project. For context, I have a friend wanting to read the Bible for the 1st time & we tried a chronological reading plan in the Bible app, but we had to jump to the podcast app to search the correct day’s episode since we were never on track with the yearly plan. I would send her audio messages trying to explain what we were reading, but I had no clue what part to focus on without overwhelming her, because to me it’s all important. It got to be too overwhelming & we lost steam. I downloaded this on her phone, but we’ll see if she’s too burned out by that experience to give this a try. The fact that you created a solution to every single issue we encountered, including a way to read together & send audio messages shows you guys have been there too. Thank you so much!

Way better than a history book..a love story. I have used more and more over the past four years. As I have fallen in love with God’s Word, I have learned to enjoy listening multiple times a day. Very helpful in understanding and getting through scripture that isn’t clear, especially when cultural differences and verbiage are unfamiliar

These audio guides have became a part of my daily routine. Chris is amazing at getting a point across that is both entertaining and informative. I’ve have several “ahaaa!” Moments while listening to him. The one criticism i can add to hopefully help is that they need to add a complete button to the daily guides on iOS. Maybe even a “you’ve completed a daily lesson!” Prompt when you finish similar to the Bible app plans. Swiping back down to exit the daily guide feels counterintuitive and leaves the feeling of incompletion. That being said, I love what you guys are doing so keep it up and may god bless your ministry in the years to come!

Been using this app for my morning devotion, or while driving to work. It would be nice to be able to mark certain teachings and scriptures as my favorites. To go back a listen to later. Thank you for all your hard work. I appreciate you.

I'm sooo grateful someone told me about this app! Daily it helps me learn more about the Bible and brings me closer to my Savior! I'm drawn in to listen to more than one chapter a day (grateful I can!). Such amazing teachers involved in this project - their humor and insights are added benefits! That app is truly amazing and I am soooo grateful that I have discovered it because it really helps me understand what I’m reading in the Bible

Today’s lesson was the best I’ve heard on TTW. I started Jan 1, 2023, and it is Dec 2. I study an OT and a NT passage each day, in book order. I will finish Ezekiel today, and started 1John, my favorite book of the Bible. I read through the Bible each year. 1John is deeper than just words, as the whole Bible is. Pastor Kris covered the instruction and personal application of this chapter very well. I pray a continued anointing on this team of writers and teachers.

I truly appreciate all that work so hard on this app. I listen to it most days and have really learned so much by hearing the teachings about each chapter. I tell so many people about this app bc it is so great. My pastors at redemption chapel in Stow Ohio teach this way too. I love it! Thank you and merry Christmas to all of you! My husband and I have nearly completed the series ‘Through the New Testament in a year’. WE LOVE IT!! We can’t say enough about how it has chastened and blessed us along the way. We’ve laughed , cried, and certainly prayed as we’ve applied it to our lives. Please continue the good work. I am so thankful for TTW. I am a poor reader and being able to listen to the bible being read to me. And as well as the teachers explaining what is in each chapter.

TTW has gave me a better understanding and interpretation on these chapters in journey 1. My faith has always been in Him. But knowing and understanding his word brings me so much closer to Him.

I live the life of sin. My god was methamphetamines. The day that I knew they controlled me and I did not control them. I gave my life in total surrender to Jesus Christ, from that point I went to Shiloh men's ministry in Liberty, Texas where I found a personal glorious blessed close relationship with Jesus Christ who has delivered me from my addictions from my sickness and has put me on a path of beauty and love. I praise and worship the name of Jesus, the living son of God who will lighten your load and help you through all your times in troubles. I thank you father for having an obedience son unto death on the cross to pay the wage of your wrath for my sins.

In addition to the scripture, Kris and Peyton’s historical detail and info. I always wondered what the tabernacle was covered with when they travelled. Also likening the blue, purple, and scarlet yarns/threads to the blood… arterial to venous was really memorable. I’m enjoying TTW very much as I commit to reading/listening to the Bible yearly. I am doing a chronological study of the Bible. TTW has just been amazing. I love the commentary's and just how easy the make it to understand.

TTW… truly amazing and the teachers are fun and so well learned and they make me just want to listen and read everyday. May God bless them all. I really don’t understand the KJV and TTW takes it to another level of understanding. Each day I read, I post the chapter on my WhatsApp DP because I’m sure there is other people like me. This group study has enriched my life so much. I’ve been using TTW for several years but being able to go through the books with friends who also want to know more has been awesome.

2 Corinthians 13 touched me deeply. One tends to know 1 Cor 13 by heart. But this last chapter of Cor is beautiful. Each and every word fell like drops of manna, feeding my soul. Once again, my faith was strengthened and I know that God speaks to me in many ways. My soul jubilates before Him and his love overspans continents and galaxies. Thank you so much.🙌

Hi pastor Chris, I was raised Catholic and was saved about 35 years ago I'm 59 now. I have been praying for my brothers and sisters to engage at a deeper level with Jesus and God's word. The 7 of us walked through Proverbs using Through The Word. And then we would text chat about what we were reading. Thank you so much for your dedication to helping people explore the Bible one chapter at a time. I continue to encourage a Bible habit with them and have challenged them to get out of their Catholic boxes, and to continue with me into II Peter or Galatians. Thanks again and may God continue to bless your ministries.

Reading and hearing the Bible, and then having a knowledgeable and personable teacher reinforce what I have just heard and then hearing it again, in a more aware state, has been a meaningful experience. And, it was easy and fun! Thank you.

I really liked that it reads the scripture directly from the Bible and then there is a teaching. I was able to find some gems that I was glazing over from listening to the word vs reading it myself. It’s also nice being able to go through it with a friend without the time commitment. We can both listen and reply when convenient

I was facing a financial challenge and was praying for God’s peace. I’ve been in this place before and the Lord always makes a way. But yet each time it’s a fight between trust and worry. My journey chapter for that day was Colossians 3 and verse 15 came like a flood , “Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.” And if that wasn't enough, what Kris shared put the seal on it for me: “Anxiety will show up because we are human. But when we are in Christ anxiety has no right to rule. Jesus is in charge now. So let His Peace have rightful authority and reign over all your emotions. “ God’s Word and Kris teaching encouraged and lifted me up from my feelings of doom and despair. I have been reminded of why I love the Lord my God and why He is worthy of praise and devotion. Also the reason we put God first in our hearts Thank you TTW for helping me restore my faith and share the good news with friends and family.

The new feature of the voice recordings and easily going through the Word with a friend is amazing. It's a true blessing to do these studies with a friend across the country and to hear each other's prayers and share thoughts!!

Revaluation has touch my heart by allowing me to see past all my burdens and realize that there will be a day the Lord will come done and bring his church up to a new heaven and earth. In Revaluation when Jesus gave John the lamp stands and told him to write to the 7 churches it made me aware of stuff that I need to work on. It also taught me about luke warm and how I need to avoid that, and how I need to witness to luke warms because they are on the wrong path. Throughout God was also speaking to and was telling me to be strong under all circumstances because it going to look like he’s losing, but he has overcome everything and already won, he is the omega, the first and last, the perfect 7, King of kings. Amen to that brother.

Once again I realised that God wants to be in constant contact with me- He gave me the HS. …. How can I not chat to Him as if He is not here by my side? I gave me a serious focus on my prayer life for 2024 and beyond. Easy to understand and thought provoking

TTW is so wonderful! I first heard about it in the YouVersion and then found the app and I've shared it with all my family multiple times! I'm learning a lot. Thank you!

1st Kings has been a hard book but Payten helped me to understand and I have put together lessons for our Children's Church which I am the pastor. I believe I have learned more then the kids. I do believe the Holy Spirit has worked through Payten to give me ideas for crafts to help the kids. Yesterday's lesson was Elijah and the widow women. We actually made bread in children's church from flour, oil and water. The kids did not like the taste but I said that is all they had. The end message which I hope they took home, God protected and took care of Elijah, the widow and her son because they obeyed. God will do the same for them. Next week's lesson, Elijah prays for the boys healing. Thank you Payten and THW

This app has helped me get closer to god. I’m a child from a family that had no religion and my friends guided me to god. But this has helped me get to know Jesus and god and has helped me live a better life!!

TTW has helped me understand better the core of our christian faith. I can now boldly declare and share the word. I will continue taking the journeys as I keep growing. I often mention TTW to my friends and family.

Pst Kris u message in Romans 1 touched me so much and Praise the Lord, i am more in Love with the Lord now than i ever have before thanks to all your short sermons, i have already finished the end of Romans & will be starting Exodus tomorrow! I wanna really thank u not only for myself but my wife has also accepted the Lord! We both live in a place where if it got out that we have become Christians, we could be stoned to death, our family could be separated & my daughters would be sent to moeslim religious schools to be brainwashed! So naturally we can't attend regular church so your sermons are everything to us! I rejoice in the Lord for having found TTW & shall continue to pray that your simple yet profound App draws more souls to Christ! Amen

Love this app so much because I listen while I work. I create adorable kids’ items do I work with my hands and follow along. I have finished Genesis, Exodus, Matthew and Revelation, plus some of the journeys that cover books here and there. I love your commentary before, love the humor as well. God bless you for this ministry.

Today, after probably a year and.a half I finished the intro and all 19 Bible journeys and I must say it was life changing.

We absolutely love these marriage plans. They have been a true blessing for our marriage. Actually the whole TTW is amazing. Thank you so much for everything. GOD bless everyone that has put the time and energy to making this even possible for others to learn and enjoy. Thank you again

I had been using TTW for about two years, and when your new Share with a friend option began in 2024 the Lord put it in my mind to ask my two sisters to join me. We’re in our 60’s and do not live close to one another. I’m the middle girl and my older sister had prayed to receive Christ about 5 yrs before, but wasn’t attending church. So we started easy. Book of Philippians, one chapter a week. My older sister let us know that she was NOT going to record anything! But she was the first one to do so and the only one that recorded in the correct place under chapter one. (We mistakenly recorded our comment of the first chapter under the introduction.) Now we’re much better at how it all works. We finished our first book this week and my older sister agreed to continue. She likes listening to the commentary and reading a whole book of the Bible. I am SO glad you have made this all possible. Not only is it beginning new Bible reading habits, but it’s building a pattern of sharing spiritually with each other which we haven’t done regularly in the past. HURRAY! Thank you Lord!

I just started the journey and I must say I’m blessed, I have better understanding about my place in the LORD and all that Christ JESUS our savior has sacrificed for us believers. I am grateful TTW I pray this great message reaches everyone. No Sheep left behind ❤️
