The Book of Colossians has taught me about the supremacy of Christ, emphasizing his role in creation, redemption, and reconciliation. It has also addressed various practical aspects of Christian living, such as putting off sinful behaviors, living in harmony with one another, and the importance of prayer and thanksgiving.

TTW has changed my life because I grow more in God's word. When I think about the uplifting words that come from here . The voice that comes from what is picked. It shows me that I am cared about. The more I read God's word the more I want to be like Jesus Christ.

I just finished the book of Nehemia. And in my personal journey, the current struggle within me, this book has changed my heart. I am in a period of restoration and God is so good. He gave me an answer for every question that came up in my mind through the chapters. Without knowing how this last chapter ended, I prayed this morning, crying, pleading to remember me too, my Lord and my Saviour. He assured me that He knows my name, He knows the work I do, the small things in the background. I praise the Lord o my God. I thank Him for his Word for his grace for his forgiveness and for his unending love!! Who am I, mere man, I can never deserve, never earn, I can only accept with humility and thanks giving! Thank you also TTW for making this possible. May you also be blessed.

I am a new user of the TTW app but I must say this app is a gift from God indeed.From the introduction to various teachings on Temptation and more, this app is great and a must have for all Christians(Personally I am touched by its power).There is strength in the Triune God over all temptations since the adversary is a defeated foe(I never knew this)and the only way to be happy in Jesus Christ is to truly trust and obey His authority and His Word Alone and what a nice experience to have a supplementary app like TTW.All Glory be to God and may He bless the creators and their descendants abundantly Amen.Shalom

I am in a Bible study group that read Acts for the Lenten period. The insights provided through TTW for each chapter really helped me to understand what it means to be committed to spreading the word as well as what the Word really is through Paul's experiences. Someone suggested we read one of his letters to the Churches and I read Phillipians....it was really awesome...I plan to use TTW to do the entire Bible..one chapter at a time. Numbers has just reinforced what I have learned in the past. I am amazed at how much I can get out of the Word even though I have read it so many times! I have been saved since May 13th 1980 in Brooklyn NY while in the USN and Numbers is such an amazing book to read in the Word. Since my very first TTW plan in Hebrews, I’ve since loved this mission. Just finished Luke and going to be studying Acts and Malachi next!

I remember sending my daughters to a class named “True Love Waits”, and now listening to the teaching of Song of Songs, if I had embraced this teaching as a young man I now understand the order of “love” would be different. I am thankful for this teaching, it will help me when I share it with others.

It is Amazing what God brings you at the time you need it! Romans has done just that. Conflict is never easy but the Word is never wrong.

The study on Ephesians has been such a blessing! I wish I could print it out and give to all newlyweds and even new parents. The study has such sage advice even if one is older like myself. I like that it’s easy to share thru various medias. I like to read along in my own Bible and make notes in the edges and in my journal.

I resisted reading Psalms because I didn’t really care for them-things perplexed me about David…but as I’ve begun this journey and just finished the first one, I realize that David shows both his love for God, and how he cries out for deliverance when he is in trouble. He admits when he does wrong and continues to praise God through it all. My family is going through a trial now, and Psalms is a wonderful example for me. I’ve been able to write more to God to help process because I know He listens and is here for us.

I have been reading the Bible from start to finish in another app, but use TTW to understand each chapter. I have been enriched, the details that TTW gives makes learning about God much more exciting.

I have been chosen to lead the youth group's study of our little church in Italy and I was touched by your study about The Gospel according to Mark, I am preparing the lessons inspired by your commentary calling the Study "Follow me". Pray please that the young believers will become fruitful followers of Christ and that the non believers are touched and converted by the Truth of the Word, the Father and the Holy Spirit. I understood chapter 13 in a new way: love of God is the basis of all the gifts God gives us. Speaking in tongues is 'self care' while prophecy is caring for others. Both are good but caring for others is more valuable as God cares for us.

I just completed Habakkuk. They way he very openly questions the Lord but never said God was doing anything wrong inspired me. I try to be a good role model and obey God’s rules and directions. But I have often almost feared His reactions to my continued “missing the mark” even knowing how much God loves rose who seek Him. Habakkuk talks straight to God and knows he will be OK and does not seem to have any concern fore God’s response. I very much appreciate the intro/explanations to the upcoming Bible reading. It helps me have a clearer understanding of God and His love for His people!

As a single older adult, TTW is my early morning companion. I get to hear the scripture the first thing as I have my coffee and meditate on what is explained and read. I love the sound of the speakers and don’t feel so alone each morning. Thank you for this!!

Hello Pastor Chris and Through the Word family I just want to thank you for what you guys have done for me. I started listening to you guys back like four years ago I think when I was deep in my drinking addiction, it started with commuting and just passing the time listening to the word, I really enjoyed it even while I was deep in my addiction. I still long for God and for his word, today I am 18 months over and living this amazing life. I just finished New Testament, which was given to me as a challenge from one of my sponsors/Bible teacher mentors. She instructed me to read the new testament as many times as I could for so many days… Well, I wasn’t able to but I decided to listen to it instead and let me tell you my life is completely transformed now that I’m clear and is sober mine , I can really truly take in God‘s word in a way that is indescribable. Thank you so much pastors you really make it so easy to listen to. I enjoy your funny jokes and I love hearing your children’s voices. Not sure if you read this, but let me tell you again how grateful I am that I found , your app when I was so desperate in the dark hole so desperate for God in anyway I can get him thank you again lots of love a very recovering addict/super mommy/child of God. I really like how you tie in Genesis with the New Testament . The characters in the Old Testament living real physical lives as well as symbolic lives seems to reinforce Gods plan all along . It makes the Bible come alive and helps to solidify my faith.

LOVE THIS APP!!!! It was highly recommended, but my thought was, “oh another Bible app, no big deal!” It really HAS been a big deal. While I’ve struggled over the years to stay committed to daily readings, this app has me hooked!! How great is that?!! I’ve used this app for almost a year and there’s a deeper relationship with God that has developed in that year!!! Doesn’t get better than that!!!

This is hands down the best Bible guide in the world. All roads lead to Jesus and Kris and the team do a great job of showing us how. The journey daily devotion is the best start to a day.

I’m not certain how many years I’ve been learning and enjoying Through The Word Bible journey. My first introduction was simply the four gospels. Since then I’ve enjoyed all of the 19 journeys, and am now into the NTY. I’m looking forward the study into the minor prophets. And if you create a study into the “major prophets “ I’ll enjoy that as well.” What is amazing to me, is that as often as I’ve reread the same books, however in a different order, or context, the story seems different. It’s likely my comprehension, or perhaps It is the Lord revealing more of himself to me, as long as I’m willing to listen and read. It is exciting that the “do overs” … (a technical golf term) are more so revealing and more understandable. I’m 80, I’ve known that Jesus is the son of God and is my savior for most of my life, my mother made sure of that as she taught Sunday School and gave me no slack. I’m blessed because of her. And I’m blessed through your assortments of Pastors, their humor, their love for Jesus, and for me. God Bless you all. Doug Turnbull

Hi, My name is Bill Van Kley. I live in Dyer, Indiana and have been a Christian for since age 19, about 55 + years ago. I’m 75 now. My life was pretty great until age 60. I then suffered a “widow maker” heart attack, and recovered, got worse, etc. the next 15 years. Through that time, I had 4 major open heart surgeries, that last one being a heart transplant in 2021. I wouldn’t change a thing! I’ve been more blessed because of my difficulties. I definitely thank God for everything. I stumbled on your app about 4 months ago, and really appreciated the 10 minute excellent commentary before reading the chapter. Even though I’ve read through the Bible 4 times, I’m getting more out of your app with every chapter I read. Thank you for your work. It’s really a great way to study. It pushes me to study even more. I feel like a salesman for the app. I’ve probably told about 25 people about the app, and convinced then to try it. (Actually God did, I was just the spokesman. The 5 to 10 minute explanation of each chapter of the Bible is so valuable to anyone who wants to know more about the Bible and how God works. I started with one journey, but now I’m doing three each day. I can’t see how anyone could not rate this as a five star. Thank you so very much! Wow, and it’s free unless you have a little bit of cash to send them.

I love the app and how simple it is to learn! I have a few friends going listening with me, and as I also host small groups it would be great to add features like notes/comments section (per chapter), add replies to a friend's comments/notes when studying together, and add prompts/questions to study it together instead of just voice memos. Making it more interactive with those we are studying it with!

I’m 67 years old. Always had a reading comprehension issue, but listening to this app has been awesome. I can stop and rewind. If I need to fully understand. Kris Langham is so enjoyable to listen to. I wish I had found earlier. Going through the book of Revelations. All I can say is wow, learning so much more. Thanks for allowing me to listen free! I just wanted to say thanks. August 20th of 2023 I decided to accept a challenge in my local pastor's sermon to try to read the bible for 66 consecutive days. Within a week I set up a Facebook bible study and invited 10 of my friends to hold each other accountable for those 66 days. My agreement was I would commit to 66 days with each person no matter when in the journey they began (if someone new came in, I'd start my count over.) this kept me accountable. I'm 200 days in and the participation from the original 10 is really just 2 or 3 of us but we are still at it. We're using the journeys in the app and are on journey 4 most of the way through Exodus. 200ish days. I have always believed in God and have led a life that has been surrounded by tragedy and in the last few years I have been driven to try to forge a better relationship with God and my own faith. I'm just trying to say that the app and your commentary has been instrumental in my journey and I appreciate it. Each day we continue on with the journey and one of us will post our summary or thoughts about the chapter of the day and we leave if for discussion amongst ourselves. As someone that has never really read the bible but often try his best to be a Christian, I just wanted say thanks, you've helped open a door to my building a better relationship with Christ.

TTW has given me a clearer understanding of the scriptures. All the plans touch in some way, through better understanding of the scripture, making me mire curious and at times I wonder. What it would have been like to walk the road with Jesus, I am sure if was not easy for the most part. I share with friends by forwarding through emails, I have tried to chat with friends and family but ....? I should try to remember what Pastor Robert says start with your own story, everyone has a story of how they came to JESUS.

Well we did Leviticus. I learned a lot yes it was bloody but when it was unpacked for us by the pastors you saw the reason for knowing and learning about this chapter.

To me, the book of Acts displays the awesome power of the Holy Spirit. The gift that Jesus promised showed up in a mighty way and turned ordinary, meek men, and women into bold evangelists, sharing their story with great oratory skills. I’m impressed how PETER gave, what I consider to be one of the greatest sermons in the Bible when he spoke to the crowds about Jesus at Pentecost. His words, or should I say the Holy Spirit’s words, were succinct and striking; bold and penetrating, and thousands were saved that day. When the newly saved followers departed for their homelands , the global ministry of Jesus had begun. The same Holy Spirit does his work today, through ordinary people who call themselves Christians. We live our lives and give our testimonies, not knowing how they will be received. However, the Holy Spirit uses us to expand the glory of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ words to spread the gospel were prophetic. And we live put His prophecies daily. TTW, has enhanced my understanding of this phenomenon. I am very grateful to the TTW team for teaching this lesson, and all lessons of each book in the Bible, so very well. Praise God! He gets all the glory.

I am cureently going through a tough time at work. My bosses hqve it against me forgetting all I have done. I am stressed out just thinking of going back to work. But using this plan of Peace has encouraged me. Having gone through the book of 1Samuel and understanding the challenges that David went through, and the prayer he made to God, I praise God because He is able.

I was raised by Christian parents who were missionaries in India for 18 years. My dad also spent many years as a minister and he love Jesus and passionately lived for God. We had family devotion morning and evening and memorized scripture weekly. My parents faith was real and effected very part of their lives. I say this to let your know that I am familiar with the Bible and with Bible study and Jesus is my world, my life, my love. Having given you that background I want to say I have been a daily student of your Bible reading plans for several years. Many of the book I have done more than once. I love the commentary you provide and your Bible reader puts such great emphasis into his reading. I have recruited ….I have no idea how many followers for your Through the Word plan. It is precious to me and my time spend with you, God and my coffee is the highlight of every day.

Just read 1st story in 17 books of bible I been Christian about 10 years now due lovely mentor you see I use be drug addicted and throught times we spent she shared the gospel with me and told me who god was and all he did what he did for us and cross ✝️ and i whent to chuch one Sunday and there fellow Christian come to me and said I have message from god I think god who’s he he said god will restore what locust have eaten and after talking my mentor I started attend church and took up my cross and give my life to Jesus Christ and few months later go baptised and I am still child of god I do share gospel and tell ppl there salvation in Christ and what he did on cross i pray daily and listen Christian music give thanks to god and I started going bk to jubilee the church I baptised at after Covid me and my dad talk about bible a lot and my mentor in question recently Sadly when to Glory in other words was called home my special friend will alway place in my hart we all trying come to term with our great loss she be forever remembered and I am so thankful god sent her to me I really need someone and she shared gospel with me and and I am saved from god wrath in his overcoming of the world 🌎 I search for app I can understand I stumbled up on TTW and makes perfect sense if my mentor wasn’t a Christian she was sent to me at time I wouldn’t have known about Jesus Christ or what he did and I say not all angels have wings 🪽and I know that god spread word through other ppl and I am so so thankful how he change my life and brought bk the brink of death and I give thanks to him every single day I have clean of addiction nearly 8 years now I sent a picture of my baptism 10years ago lady in picture was my mentor her name was Julie and man in picture is Julie’s husband Ian

The app has helped me a lot with my walk with God lately, due to the fact that it 's been a bit difficult to sit down and read from my bible and any commentary that i have, which i did for many years. It's easier for me to listen to the bible and combine it with it's teachings, which are short (perfect for me cause i can't stay focused for long 😁). Keep it up

this episode awakened my spirit to the reality of the fact that all the beauty of this world was created from invisible things. This means to me that the things I see do not have an effect on what God is doing in my life and Marriage. There's an aspect of the INVISIBLE POWER OF GOD!.

The “Journeys” on TTW are very eye opening! This particular Journey 6 struck me personally enough to put it out there saying; you have allot of work to do meaning me. I believe it is VERY important to visit and absorb Proverbs because it is life’s biblical guide! After reading journey 6 I felt and still do feel unclean! However, the one assurance and Hope I have is the following: Christ Died and covered my sin! His love for me is never ending! I have hope because the above will never cease!

I have really enjoyed these lessons. So glad I chose the Explanation of Revelation as my You Version Bible plan which led to me download the TTW app. I will refer others to download. Pastor Kris may God bless you.

I am new in the studying of the Bible, I stumbled into TTW when I was searching for how to study the word with a guide and good explanation. It has been amazing and I bless God for this opportunity as I derive so much joy in studying the word.

I started listening a couple of, but I kept it to myself years ago, but this year started it and decided to share it with my husband, and now we can sit here and read/listen for at least three chapters in the Evenings and it’s so odd because I always thought reading or listening to the Bible was boring, but they make it so educational, so fun and interesting and before we know it we are caught up on the book of the Bible that we started . My husband says did we just listen to three chapters I’m like yeah , That was awesome. Our marriage was rocky the first year but I don’t do well with change and once we got in, I was scared because I had some problems with my previous marriage physically and emotionally abuse And I didn’t know that God had told my husband now that I was the one that God picked for him I always thought that God told both parties. Well, I guess he probably would if I would sit down and listen long enough but as we listen to these chapters and verse breakdown, it becomes so easy to understand I find myself getting into different books of the Bible and in my own quiet time I’m able to get through five or six chapters and it makes it so easy, I just want to say thank you so much for bringing the Bible to the forefront of our marriage and helping us to sit down and listen together as a family .

TTW is so awesome, always anxious to see what the next chapter teaches. The TTW teachers make it so easy and exciting. Didn’t know reading the Bible could be so fun.

Listening to each chapter of each book of the Bible has opened God’s word for me. God has led me to exegesis of his word. I never knew or heard of this word before the Holy Spirit spoke it to me. TTW helps me to search the Word and go deeper in my studying. Pastor Kris and Peyton are hilarious too!

I love TTW. I listen in the mornings as one of my devotionals. I was listening to Temptation when I realized that my childrens church students who are 4th-8th grade would benefit from hearing these truths at their age. I fear they will face so many temptations in the next years. We did a 3 weeks study on temptation and it went fabulous! Thank you so much for TTW. It has helped me to keep learning and to teach!

TTW App makes the study of the word easy and achievable even with a busy schedule. I just finished the plan on the book of Job. Truly impactful. The explanation is well broken down and very relatable. I have learnt more about God's sovereignty and my frailty in relation to His purpose. I will be sure to share TTW with my friends.

John's detailed account of the life of Jesus brings out the true gospel message of God to us. Right from Chapter 1 we get to know Jesus as the Word from God and by chapter 21 He invites us to follow having, He continues to feed us and invites us to feed and take care of the Lamb and Sheep. That's what matters most.

I had never heard Pastor Sandy before, but his easygoing, and deep teaching was amazing. I got so much out of this study of Hosea. It really helped me know that the heart of my Father and saviour was even more for me as a son than I had ever realised. Thank you all involved. P. S. The lady who reads the NKJV on the app is wonderful to listen to. It's an amazing job.

Every plan I have listened too has pulled me deeper into the word and shown me that almost every story or person/s were broken in someway or another. It has broken it down to an understanding that a child can listen to and learn from. It reminds me of my father who passed away a few years ago and who wanted so badly for me to want and understand the Bible in a way that was not typical for most. What I mean was to search and ask questions and these plans makes me want more and they answer some of those tough questions I can no longer ask him. It reminds me everyday that no matter how bad things get in your life Jesus is always with you and will never leave. If you have God in your corner fighting it can’t get any better. He is our only real hope in a dark world. We can call on him 24/7 and he is there for us. It just can’t get any better than that. I will always remember it’s not in our time it’s in his. Wow! Wow! Wow! I just finished the book of Esther and the way the story is told is phenomenal! I've known this story on my life, yet at age 60 I found myself riveted waiting to hear what the next interesting disclosure would be and what I had missed in the story all along. Thank you so much for bringing it to life like that!

I found myself a widow after 36 years of marriage. Our marriage wasn’t perfect, but it was perfectly wonderful. I know God’s plan is not for me to be alone. So I am believing God for my “Boaz” and looking for practical advise about relationships in the Word of God. I love how Through the Word uncovers the many layers of truth the book of Ruth reveals. The practical wisdom about relationships and the sweet glimpse of God pursuing His people. I highly recommend this study and am sharing it with my family and friends.
