Wall of Love for TTW

I have been having a problem with people from my past letting me get out of who I have become in Jesus walking in old ways getting upset and angry and stuff like that and this part of the journey you know reading Colossians just really help to remind me to just forgive others walk in love and always be kind you know don't let things that are out of your control like other people's actions change who you are in Christ it is definitely been a struggle and I definitely will keep trying harder and harder each time and I will get there I love this app it's amazing I just started on the journey and finishing the first one on to two thank you

I absolutely love TTW which has become part of my daily routine. The daily readings help further my understanding and love of God’s word which encourages me to share my faith even more. Awesome work TTW team 🙏🏽

This plan has been very inspirational and am learning about the Bible one chapter at a time. Very strategic and I really love the audio explanations it makes plenty sense.

Thank you for taking the time to put together these short, insightful studies. They are deep yet simple. They are also easy to follow and understand. So often teachers complicate the Word making it hard for some people to get excited about. You make listening and learning fun for all ages. I can do these in a group or with the family and everyone gets some nugget of truth or understanding that they didn’t have or know before. Thank you for making God’s word fun to dig into.

This app,to say the least, has been a life changer for me.i am reading and interracting the bible in a way that i never have before,and experiencing God in a whole new way.Also,the fact that it's audio means i can listen throughout the day,whether on the road,doing chores,etc. God bleess the entire team of Through The Word,you are a gem.

Almost 2 years ago my world was turned upside down. As I was researching some theological issues, I came across Through the Word. As a longtime Christian I was seeking to see the character of God through the view of the scriptures. Was God who I believed He was or was He someone else very different? The format was perfect, one chapter at a time. This gave me time to ponder and reflect. The presentation was straight forward, honest, unbiased and intellectual. I have read the Bible and prayed more in the past 2 years than in my entire Christian life. While I have not seen my prayers answered in the way I would imagine, I have been drawn to God with a force that is palpable. I look at my situation and wonder, why haven’t I just given up. I have never felt a faith so strong; it’s indescribable. Through the Word has given me a structure to seek God and has strengthened my faith in God and renewed my hope for the future. God is who I thought He was and His mercies are new every morning. Thank you for such a great tool. I tell everyone that Through the Word is the app to choose for Bible reading and unique insight into God’s Word.

This study has touched my heart so deeply, I do not remember a time in my life that I did not believe, many years ago one of my Bible teachers asked which person of the Trinity did I identify with the answer for me was simple..Father God. He was strong, in charge, a parent you could depend on, His rules did not change, He was to be feared, honored, worshipped He is holy and righteous. Over the years I have learned the joy and the wonder of the Spirit, the truth that Jesus is my Savior, without Him I am lost, but until this study on Colossians my mind, heart, and soul has not burned with the desire "to know Jesus." I no longer just want to be a follower of Jesus, I want to walk by His side, to see others as He sees them, to think as He thinks, to speaks as He speaks. Thank you for this marvelous teaching.

My experience with the app is very edifying, it has helped me alot to read and understand bible daily. It is a great learning tool for those who want to go through the word everyday. I have a suggestion for the app as well, can you include prayers inspired by the word in the guide too . And, also I love the bible inspired message at the end of every guide " Faith comes by hearing and hearing through the word ". May God continue to bless you abundantly in the mighty name of Jesus name. Amen!

I love this app. Not only can I listen to the Bible but I get the teaching along with it. I have already worked through several plans. It is so fun to listen to the Word and follow along as each chapter is explained. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible.

tTTW has been an amazing tool for my husband and I. My husband is no academic lightweight and TTW has been a sufficient challenge for him. For myself it has become the place I go to when I need clarity or I don’t understand a scripture. Thank you🌺

This plan (Hebrews) came to me at a perfect time. I've been struggling with fully submitting to God and His plan and His guidance. While at work today I was thinking to myself "why would He/does He love me?" I've always wondered if I was a part of His flock because it's been hard to say if He's ever really "spoken" to me. But today I heard it. "Because I made you" I'm pretty sure it was Him. "Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." This ministry has been full of ups and downs for me. But nearly every audio guide has brought me closer to my Lord and Savior. I will not harden my heart. Thank you for bringing me through the word.

I love diving into the Word everyday and learning so much more through the guide than I would on my own. I look forward to reading and listening everyday and I enjoy having a plan to follow. I recently finished Romans and it was so relevant to my life and walk with the Lord. Many difficult passages became easier to understand as I listened to the audio guide. I found TTW a couple of years ago and began listening to the commentary. My faith journey started over 22 years ago and I have read the whole Bible several times. I love the chapter by chapter teaching of The Word! It has blessed me, enlightened me, challenged me, and encouraged me! I know it is sound teaching because I have studied God's word in the past. I love that I can listen on my way to work or anywhere. I have shared it on social media and with friends and family. I love how it explains each chapter because when I read the whole Bible the first time, I didn't understand most of it. This is a great resource and blessing for people who are just starting to read the the Bible or for people who want to go deeper and get a different perspective! I'm currently reading the whole Bible now through TTW and I just finished Hebrews! I have to say that so far Hebrews teaching has been my favorite because I gained so much more knowledge from listening to this explanation and I just love going deeper into God's Word!!! I want to encourage you all that what you're doing matters for God's kingdom and I will continue to share this app with my family and friends!!! I’d love the Through the Word app. Kris does such a great job of offering practical every day insights, Illuminating harder to understand passages, and adding his great flare for humor at appropriate times. I’ve been doing the “19 Journeys” reading plan, and as a pastor I find Kris Biblically sound, balanced & wise, and easy to listen to. The word of God is powerful, transformational, and so critical to keep our lives connected to Jesus Christ our Life source! Thanks so much for all your work in creating this excellent app! I’ve shared this with hundreds of people that desire to know God and his Word better.

The Apostle’s were UNSTOPPABLE!!! And we as people of God today should be the same. We have more freedom than they did, more access than they did and we have JESUS unlike the ones the Apostles were preaching to knew they could have. Salvation is a true gift from God and He offering it if choose to trust and believe in Him. He is real and ALIVE. Pastor Peyton makes you not want to stop reading the Word. I am very visual reader, so when I read the Word, it’s like I right there in the thick of with the Apostle’s, I’ve cried, sweated and been out of breath just reading along with Pastor Peyton… not a Star Wars fan but it will help my grands, I will definitely share with them. I thank you for The Word and the UNSTOPPABLE moments in book of Acts. Best interactive Bible reading app ever!!! God has truly blessed your ministry.

I’m thankful for the opportunity that Through The Word has provided. I am a woman who has spent time studying theology, the historical data and loves Jesus, but has been going through a unique process of being separate. I’m 34, and finishing my senior year at university. I quit my full time job after Covid to get a degree, with the belief that this is what was for me. God has used this time to spend time with me, sharing my joys, my pains and even familial losses and a break away from my church family. It’s been a season of aloneness. When I was asked if I wanted to join a Bible study with friends from home, hundreds of miles away, I said “YES”. This has been the opportunity to connect with my girls from home and focus on my last year at university. I am so thankful that this has been the platform where I am encouraged and can encourage my friends whom I dearly love. Thank you.

It helps me by understanding more of what is written. I look forward to listening and one my last three hour road trip, I listened the entire way. I have told others about the app.

Shout out to TTW Sometime at the beginning of the year, I felt like I was fading. I wasn't sick or anything, but I felt like there a very big breach between myself and God. When I was done running because I felt ashamed to come to him, I went on YouTube and was listening to a message by Joyce Meyer in Lakewood church when an add popped up. It was about TTW. Having already subscribed to You version bible app, I decided to download the TTW app and it has been amazing. I know that I am not alone, God is with me through my struggles. I felt settled. While there are times when I still worry, times when it feels like a certain temptation threatens to be more than I can handle, I have God and I feel an immeasurable amount of peace knowing that.

This has been an incredible experience as my wife and I have gone through 3 years of different daily devotionals with Through the Word. It has been truly an awesome experience. Kris' teaching and the others who have participated with him are a true blessing. My faith in God has been impacted in great ways. Praising God for how He is using Through the Word to draw people to Himself through the accurate, scriptural Bible teaching of Kris and his team.

Wow, what a blessing this app is. I’ve started a morning routine to listen daily. What an amazing way to open each day. I also listen to specific chapters right before I go to a small group session. It makes those groups so much more meaningful. I can’t believe it’s totally free! It’s been such a blessing that I’ve started saving up so I can make a donation. And, I tell everyone about it. So many people are now using it with me. I could go on about other ways I us it but I believe I’ve gotten the message across! Thank you God for inspiring me through this app. I’m humbled and immensely grateful.

It was indeed an amazing journey through the chapters of Genesis. It is an eye opener to a lot of things I never understood. The explanation before each chapter gave me better understanding and insight. Thank you.

It is a wonderful plan. It has renewed what I already knew, that God is my strength, healer, friend waymaker miracle worker and so much more. I look forward to continuing this journey I'll be 75 next month but I still live to learn more about my God.

I am 76 years old and have been a Christian for many years, but have never really developed the habit of daily quiet times. I start off well, but after a few weeks I lapse. Since I discovered TTW, I have so far managed journey 1 and 2 and still going strong! So thanks for inspiring me, and I think we’re in this together now. Praise God!

I really like the layout of this app. I think it is really going to help make Bible study a higher priority in my life. Over the past few months my screen time has had a very negative impact on the time I spend in God’s word and I hope this app helps me to combat that bad habit. TTW has been the primary tool that I use to read and study the Bible. I am only through Foundation 3 but I have learned so much already. I am going through all of the Foundations with my 3 sister-in-law laws and have learned ,I h from their insight as we comment on the chapters and commentary every day. Thank you for providing a meaningful platform to study God’s word.

Through the word has helped me on my spiritual journey, knowing my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ better. I love the way that Chris Latham explains every book of the Bible. My husband and I also listen together, so I have two journeys going at once!

This journey reassured me that even when I feel alone, trapped, or depressed. I have someone that I can speak too. I have someone that has made my soul clean. I have god who is with me everywhere I go.

I often listen to TTW in my car on my way to work, while washing dishes and looking out through my kitchen window and before bed. The Audio styled version makes it versatile to attain a relationship with God. What I love so much about TTW - the explaination of each chapter and how it has encourages me to go away and reflect on its words . It has cultivated within me a closeness with God. One of the ways of knowing god is to constantly seek him and TTW has been part of my journey in doing so. So thank you to God for using you to ministry to so many people around the world .

I was asked to lead a Bible study for the ladies in my church. We used TTW to study the book of Romans! Wow, it was life changing. Pr. Chris brought this book to life. I’m forever grateful for TTW. We are now sharing TTW with friends and family. Thank you TTW for your faithfulness to spread the gospel!

Proverbs was a great model for me. This study in Proverbs made me realize I need to do a Bible study and listen to this with my son so that he know what a marriage should be like and what his role is as a husband. Furthermore, it is a good benchmark for how he can be a as a husband. It also gave great advice for what to look for in a wife.

I have been blessed by having found Through the Word. I read devotionals every day and study my Bible. I pray for friends and family and even those I don’t know. I support many ministries and have been on several mission trips. What I most appreciate about Through the Word is the clear understanding through which the Word is presented. I haven’t been sharing this study with others, but I pray that I’ll be bolder about doing so. I am in my seventies and my health is failing. I recently moved from my home to an apartment to be closer to my daughter’s family for help and support. My daughter serves the Lord with her whole heart. She accompanies me to all medical appointments and spends time with me. My mother-in-law lead me to accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Thank you for your dedication to Through the Word. I have been truly blessed.

TTW is the most important app ever developed. I have found my replacement for podcasts, youtube, social media scrolling, all of it. Amazing! If the entire audio collection were offered as physical media, I would purchase 10 copies and hand them out as gifts. For now, I can only share.

I have been a Christian for many years and read the Bible faithfully. But until I discovered Through the Word, I never understood the meaning behind what I read. TTW has given me a deeper understanding and I highly recommend it toe everyone.

I’m a Calvary Chapel pastor in Costa Rica. We started the work 6 years ago and have had to fight one battle after another trying to adhere to the religiosity of a predominately Catholic country. Beginning in Chapter 4 of Nehemiah I bagan to be reminded of the what and why of our mission here. We get so caught up in what the enemy is trying to destroy we sometimes lose sight of the fact the battle belongs to the LORD! Through Him victory awaits when we persevere. In the Book of Revelation Jesus tells John to write to the church in Thyatira in 2:26 “To the one who conquers and who keeps My works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations and he will rule therm with a rod of iron…” Focus on the One who has won nthe victory and not the one who tries to distract us from the work.

I listen to my Bible plans when I go to bed. They run all night so even in sleep, I am receiving the word of God They help me understand the Bible more deeply. Thank you

TTW is AWESOME. We are doing a year reading of the New Testament only and I been using this app from day one, I used some plans of TTW on the Bible YouVersion app, but found this app and LOVE that it is an every chapter study, since that is how our plan works with one chapter a day, and the breakdown of verse by verse really is helping me go deeper in my studies and learning and is teaching me daily. I tell all the people in my groups how great it is and would recommend it to everyone no matter how seasoned they are in the Word of God because there is always more to learn about God and how to deepen our walk with Jesus and strengthen our faith. Through the word has really helped me understand Gods word exactly how it’s meant to be understand. With so many religions and beliefs, Pastor Kris and the teachers make the word plain and in no way try to implement or sway us with their personal beliefs. As of May 10,2024 I have now if I all 19 journeys. It took 2.5 years to complete and I have grown in faith, knowledge and heart . I love the Lord and watch Him change me. I am a change woman in Christ for the better and I am always sharing TTW with them. Thank you for making the app and helping me read through the Bible.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! I just finished Journey 2. I personally had begun TTW with other Books first. So each day begins a new understanding of God’s word! So through the journey I hear something through the reading that gets my attention.. then I want to read the book to hear more about the story! Thanks to the great men and women who makes this possible for me and others!!

This is the clearest and BEST Bible teaching I’ve experienced. I am hearing impaired and listening now through an assisted listening device. TTW has truly transformed my learning about who Jesus is and how I can strengthen my relationship to Him by connecting with His Word daily. This Journey 1 has made it possible for me to connect daily with the Word and “ be transformed by the renewing of [my] mind. “

It has helped me in 3 keys ways - accountability with reading Gods word daily with structure - I thoroughly enjoy the approach of context, history and relevance to my life today - connect with my friends by doing this study with them, I am able to challenge, be challenged and grow in my walk with God.

I have been so grateful for Through the Word. I’m newer to reading the Bible and was finding it challenging, however, when I learned of TTW from my sister it was a game changer for me. I’m understanding the Word so much better and I feel at peace everyday during and after listening. I’ve chosen to follow along via the Journeys and it’s been incredible. I’ve also passed it on to others as a recommendation.

A group of girls, God’s Daughters 👑, has gone through Proverbs together, and we just ended with Romans. What an amazing way to study God’s word so directly and being able to share our thoughts in Audio recordings! This platform is so special and so unique and absolutely godsend! We had some challenges with recordings, not recording, over and over and over again. But Thank you to the Helpdesk team that has worked through some of those issues. I’m here to report that we all ended well and finished the study together, Through the word!

I love these plans. I have read the Bible all the way thru a few times over but never understood as much as I do with these plans. This really helps to know what God is trying to say to us. Never stop!!! Breaking down all the verses helps me learn things I have never learned before and I have been at this for most of my life. It has been off and on when I was younger but for the past 40 years or so mostly on. I’m 71 now so I’m thankful for your staff of teachers. I have had great teachers in my churches over the years that I learned a lot from. These plans on my phone make it so I can study anywhere, everyday. The Bible is so essential to everyone’s life that having the verses broken down is so helpful. I pray anyone I send it to learns as much and more than I do. Love, Love, Love.

I have always considered myself a Christian. However, I have only recently began to truly learn the Bible and develop a true relationship with Jesus. This app has played a major role in that and I cannot thank you enough. I have been noticing that the stronger I grow in my faith, the harder the devil seems to come at me. I understand that is part of it and I must in a way pass these tests to seem myself worthy. Although I have a confession to make. One of the things I have struggled with my entire life is feeling unworthy, useless, unlovable, insecure and when I am walking with Jesus I can see those things start to fade...I begin to see my worth and potential. The devil didn't like that. He hit me hard these past few days. I was backed into a corner and was terrified. I was ready to die, I even had a plan. I was going to commit suicide. I didn't see how I could ever make a difference in this world. But little by little, one piece or person at a time, God started showing himself to me, showing me signs, at least they were signs to me. He stopped me in my tracks, because it was going to happen last night. This morning I get up and listen to my lesson, which I do every morning (except for the past few, bc well...) and I finished out journey 7 with 2 Corinthians starting with Chapter 10. You definitely got my attention, gave me hope and new found strength to fight. The poem that you wrote and ended the journey with...I have no words. I had to record it and will probably write it down later so I can read it for inspiration from time to time. I know that God uses people in a way as messengers to speak to us and do the glory goes to Him. But I also want to thank you. YOU are my favorite pastor. I have learned more listening to you in the past 6 months than I have in my 49 years in this earth. God led me to your teachings and I'm so thankful that you are here following through on your calling. Just wanted you to know that you played a part in saving someone's life and I pray that I can live it as God intended and help others. Again, thank you and be blessed.
