Hi TTW Team, I discovered your app a few years ago through the Bible app devotionals. I’ve really enjoyed the teachings. Recently my 17 year old son has started listening too and it’s so amazing to hear him share with me how his faith is growing through his study of the Bible. He graduated high school yesterday and plans to go to college this fall. Last night he talked to me about he really appreciates how grace works and that no matter what he accomplishes, he realizes his relationship with Jesus is based on grace, not on his own works. Took me a lot longer to figure that one out! Thank you for doing the work you do, so that people like my son and I can grow in our understanding and also in our faith!

Fantastic!!!!!!!!! 10 minutes of teaching and 10 minutes of Bible reading is very easily doable in a day therefore one does not get discouraged and feel like a failure. The Contant by the teachers is excellent. I learned something all the time and have been a Christian for 35 years. So glad I found you.

I have heard multiple audio bibles, I love that there is commentary on every chapter. I have learned so much listening to these audio guides. I do hope they will add CarPlay compatibility at some point.

I'm thankful this through the word app he has help me understand more God's word and I feel connection with Lord and feel the Lord presence in his word. I love that I am getting closer to the Lord and understanding more his word and it's very helpful that through this app we can get that. I don't know how I found TTW but I am so thankful that I did. I love the commentary and how the narrator's make the Bible easier to decern. Thank to all that have worked to make this all work. Blessings

The book of James has taught me so much I have been grumbling and judging people for the unchrist like things they do and now I know it's not my job to judge and to stop grumbling, but pray for those people and to ask for forgiveness for myself. I will read through word of James miny more times. Thank you for helping me understand the bible. Blessings on all of you 🙏

The book of Job has really opened my eyes. I think about how that three letter word, "Why" can lead me into darkness. How we can become too comfortable on earth. Thanks be to God!

Through The Word has helped me become consistent in Bible study as I try to study almost everyday using the guide. I just completed the book of Romans and I feel free; no more condemnation or guilt. Christ died for everyone and I have an inheritance in the Lord. It has opened my eyes to see that generosity in the house of the Lord, and even to those who are not in Christ yet is recognised. Over all, I feel peace and joy after studying the book of Romans. On to the next book! Yay! Kudos to Pastor Kris and the entire TTW team. God bless y'all for this impactful mission. Amen.

Going through the journeys has helped me to understand what I am reading. Reading through it alone is very difficult and can get confusing. I have been a church kid my whole life, but have never felt confident in the word. This year, I could feel and hear God call upon me and I have decided to open my heart and get baptized for the first time in my life. Thank you for creating this platform to help me fully understand God’s calling on my life.

I love the real life conversation with the scripture and our current lifestyle. The story is told by a friend you have known since childhood. It is presented with humor and biblical wisdom!! I’m hooked!!

Am very thankful to God for His mercy and grace. For he saved me at my lowest. I still have struggles, but I am strengthened whenever I read His word, and the guidance by Through The Word - am very thankful. Going through Numbers a highlight was the commentary on ch 30 where Kris talks about the importance of a man keeping his word and the responsibilities of a husband. It will stay with me, thank you.

I was introduced to TTW a few years ago and it has become my daily companion. My knowledge and appreciation of the Bible and of the word of God has grown, and with it, so has my faith!

Aloha, Just wanted to say thank you all the way from Hawaii for your ministry. I love that it’s accessible, practical, and heartfelt. I can see that all the leaders involved seek to do their best in Teaching the Bible in its entirety and full council. I grew up in a Southern Baptist Church here in Hawaii. I’m so thankful because that church taught me to read the word, seek God’s understanding, and live it. However, there’s also the human side that taught me legalism and sometimes isolated some texts to fit the Southern Baptists ideas. There have been times when doing one of The devotions in TTW And one of you will share something that lines up with who Jesus is, and God’s full council as opposed to what I was taught as an impressionable youth and held onto into my adult life. Thank you so much for all you guys do and I pray that many are reached and encouraged like I’ve been.

God’s fingerprints are all over my life. I may have to face some difficult times but He is the God of the impossible! He is the God of the Great Reversal! His promises stand true. In His great love for me, I will continue to believe that all of life’s events pass through the very hand of God and nothing comes by chance.

I love the simplicity of going through the Bible at small chunks. I've encouraged my church members to download the app in hopes of doing a daily devotional and charity of Scripture. I love what God have you all doing. Great ministry work.

I had never sat down and studied 1 Peter. It has already helped me witness to a person in a bad place. “We are not perfect, just sanctified”! Continue to love one another deeply from your heart! Overcome evil with good! Those were some of my highlights. This might be my biggest takeaway … Live such good lives among the pagans that though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits! Life doesn’t need to be hard … just love one another, suffer well and do good!

So easy to navigate, see plans, read and so much stuff, so easily layered out and so helpful to learn the Bible like I never did before. One of the Best Faith Apps Ever !! I completed the Marriage Talk audio guide series . I'm so glad I invested my time . I feel everyone who is looking to be married or is married needs to listen to this series on the App..im also planning to do some other Topical plans as well & I've also started a Bible Bookclub with the App as well . I love that you can share them easily with others . I highly recommended this app to everyone!!

Such an amazing devotional. I was afraid of the book of Revelations for a long while but it’s such an amazing eye opening book of the return of my Lord and Savion. It’s like a preview for a much see movie but so much better. I cannot wait to see Him face to face. Very well narrated.

It did not occur to me that when I got married at the alter that it was a place of sacrifice. What were we sacrificing? A bit of ourselves for the other person? That is contrary to the worlds way of individuality and making your own decisions as an adult. I also liked 1+1=1 also strange.

Thank you for everyone’s hard work on keeping God’s word out there. I really enjoy having the Bible read to me then reinforced with commentary. God Bless everyone in this ministry.

Was told by a friend of the app and since starting it have been extremely pleased with the content! The personal touch aspect from his perspective and the light hearted comments have made it extremely enjoyable to use whilst driving to work. Through the word has done it again. I truly love the bible and it's teachings. The teachers that God has chosen for us to understand the word. Peyton Jones is awesome and clearly explains everything. Love his stories and examples. Yet, towards the end he let me know how we must trust in God and for us to trust in him.

I started the 19 Journeys in the fall of 2021. Tomorrow I will begin Journey 18. I have stayed consistent in my study. I have been a believer in Jesus since I was a child. I never wavered but I had an “elementary” kind of Sunday School - Jesus Loves Me faith. Prior to TTW I started the podcast Bible in a Year, but it did not engage me. I started reading the Bible on my own with no study attached in 2020, but when I got to Numbers it was tough. So I went to the Gospels and while I understood it better I wanted more explanation. From there I read some really good books: Searching for Allah- Finding Jesus, More Than a Carpenter, Game Plan for Life and The Case for Christ. All great reads. In 2021 I was using the Bible App to read Romans - because during Covid everyone needed to read Romans😉 and I found TTW on the Bible App and I did the book of Romans. I was thrilled to find the App and see I could read the entire Bible. So here I am today: May 27th 2024 and I have 2 Journeys to go. What I love about the Journey’s in get to read the BT twice. Also, the institution I have received, especially in the OT was much needed. The variety of Pastors presenting is nice. I also listen to the audio of the chapters and lucky for my I have a NIV Bible because this narrator is the absolute best! He must have been a British actor. I was asked by a friend how studying/ reading has change me. My answer is this experience is life changing! I left the ELCA Lutheran church. My husband and I joined a Bible Based Christian Church and we did a believers Baptism in 2022. I share this good news with friends and family if I think it needs to be said by me. For other friends or family who are non- believers when they have challenges I always tell them I will pray for them and I do. TTW helped get me through Covid, the craziness of the spirit of this world that plagues our country and world. I encourage you to donate to TTW if you have not already done so and also pray for Pastor Kris, his family and the entire team at TTW. This 59 year old wife, mother of 4 and grandma of 3 ( all believers - praise God) gives TTW 5 stars! This ministry is truly making a difference. P.S. sorry about the typos. I have been having a problem with people from my past letting me get out of who I have become in Jesus walking in old ways getting upset and angry and stuff like that and this part of the journey you know reading Colossians just really help to remind me to just forgive others walk in love and always be kind you know don't let things that are out of your control like other people's actions change who you are in Christ it is definitely been a struggle and I definitely will keep trying harder and harder each time and I will get there I love this app it's amazing I just started on the journey and finishing the first one on to two thank you

I absolutely love TTW which has become part of my daily routine. The daily readings help further my understanding and love of God’s word which encourages me to share my faith even more. Awesome work TTW team 🙏🏽

This plan has been very inspirational and am learning about the Bible one chapter at a time. Very strategic and I really love the audio explanations it makes plenty sense.

Thank you for taking the time to put together these short, insightful studies. They are deep yet simple. They are also easy to follow and understand. So often teachers complicate the Word making it hard for some people to get excited about. You make listening and learning fun for all ages. I can do these in a group or with the family and everyone gets some nugget of truth or understanding that they didn’t have or know before. Thank you for making God’s word fun to dig into.

This app,to say the least, has been a life changer for me.i am reading and interracting the bible in a way that i never have before,and experiencing God in a whole new way.Also,the fact that it's audio means i can listen throughout the day,whether on the road,doing chores,etc. God bleess the entire team of Through The Word,you are a gem.

Almost 2 years ago my world was turned upside down. As I was researching some theological issues, I came across Through the Word. As a longtime Christian I was seeking to see the character of God through the view of the scriptures. Was God who I believed He was or was He someone else very different? The format was perfect, one chapter at a time. This gave me time to ponder and reflect. The presentation was straight forward, honest, unbiased and intellectual. I have read the Bible and prayed more in the past 2 years than in my entire Christian life. While I have not seen my prayers answered in the way I would imagine, I have been drawn to God with a force that is palpable. I look at my situation and wonder, why haven’t I just given up. I have never felt a faith so strong; it’s indescribable. Through the Word has given me a structure to seek God and has strengthened my faith in God and renewed my hope for the future. God is who I thought He was and His mercies are new every morning. Thank you for such a great tool. I tell everyone that Through the Word is the app to choose for Bible reading and unique insight into God’s Word.

This study has touched my heart so deeply, I do not remember a time in my life that I did not believe, many years ago one of my Bible teachers asked which person of the Trinity did I identify with the answer for me was simple..Father God. He was strong, in charge, a parent you could depend on, His rules did not change, He was to be feared, honored, worshipped He is holy and righteous. Over the years I have learned the joy and the wonder of the Spirit, the truth that Jesus is my Savior, without Him I am lost, but until this study on Colossians my mind, heart, and soul has not burned with the desire "to know Jesus." I no longer just want to be a follower of Jesus, I want to walk by His side, to see others as He sees them, to think as He thinks, to speaks as He speaks. Thank you for this marvelous teaching.

My experience with the app is very edifying, it has helped me alot to read and understand bible daily. It is a great learning tool for those who want to go through the word everyday. I have a suggestion for the app as well, can you include prayers inspired by the word in the guide too . And, also I love the bible inspired message at the end of every guide " Faith comes by hearing and hearing through the word ". I love this app. Not only can I listen to the Bible but I get the teaching along with it. I have already worked through several plans. It is so fun to listen to the Word and follow along as each chapter is explained. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible.

tTTW has been an amazing tool for my husband and I. My husband is no academic lightweight and TTW has been a sufficient challenge for him. For myself it has become the place I go to when I need clarity or I don’t understand a scripture. Thank you🌺

This plan (Hebrews) came to me at a perfect time. I've been struggling with fully submitting to God and His plan and His guidance. While at work today I was thinking to myself "why would He/does He love me?" I've always wondered if I was a part of His flock because it's been hard to say if He's ever really "spoken" to me. But today I heard it. "Because I made you" I'm pretty sure it was Him. "Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." This ministry has been full of ups and downs for me. But nearly every audio guide has brought me closer to my Lord and Savior. I will not harden my heart. Thank you for bringing me through the word.

I love diving into the Word everyday and learning so much more through the guide than I would on my own. I look forward to reading and listening everyday and I enjoy having a plan to follow. I recently finished Romans and it was so relevant to my life and walk with the Lord. Many difficult passages became easier to understand as I listened to the audio guide. I found TTW a couple of years ago and began listening to the commentary. My faith journey started over 22 years ago and I have read the whole Bible several times. I love the chapter by chapter teaching of The Word! It has blessed me, enlightened me, challenged me, and encouraged me! I know it is sound teaching because I have studied God's word in the past. I love that I can listen on my way to work or anywhere. I have shared it on social media and with friends and family. I love how it explains each chapter because when I read the whole Bible the first time, I didn't understand most of it. This is a great resource and blessing for people who are just starting to read the the Bible or for people who want to go deeper and get a different perspective! I'm currently reading the whole Bible now through TTW and I just finished Hebrews! I have to say that so far Hebrews teaching has been my favorite because I gained so much more knowledge from listening to this explanation and I just love going deeper into God's Word!!! I want to encourage you all that what you're doing matters for God's kingdom and I will continue to share this app with my family and friends!!! I’d love the Through the Word app. Kris does such a great job of offering practical every day insights, Illuminating harder to understand passages, and adding his great flare for humor at appropriate times. I’ve been doing the “19 Journeys” reading plan, and as a pastor I find Kris Biblically sound, balanced & wise, and easy to listen to. The word of God is powerful, transformational, and so critical to keep our lives connected to Jesus Christ our Life source! Thanks so much for all your work in creating this excellent app! I’ve shared this with hundreds of people that desire to know God and his Word better.

The Apostle’s were UNSTOPPABLE!!! And we as people of God today should be the same. We have more freedom than they did, more access than they did and we have JESUS unlike the ones the Apostles were preaching to knew they could have. Salvation is a true gift from God and He offering it if choose to trust and believe in Him. He is real and ALIVE. Pastor Peyton makes you not want to stop reading the Word. I am very visual reader, so when I read the Word, it’s like I right there in the thick of with the Apostle’s, I’ve cried, sweated and been out of breath just reading along with Pastor Peyton… not a Star Wars fan but it will help my grands, I will definitely share with them. I’m thankful for the opportunity that Through The Word has provided. I am a woman who has spent time studying theology, the historical data and loves Jesus, but has been going through a unique process of being separate. I’m 34, and finishing my senior year at university. I quit my full time job after Covid to get a degree, with the belief that this is what was for me. God has used this time to spend time with me, sharing my joys, my pains and even familial losses and a break away from my church family. It’s been a season of aloneness. When I was asked if I wanted to join a Bible study with friends from home, hundreds of miles away, I said “YES”. This has been the opportunity to connect with my girls from home and focus on my last year at university. I am so thankful that this has been the platform where I am encouraged and can encourage my friends whom I dearly love. Thank you.

It helps me by understanding more of what is written. I look forward to listening and one my last three hour road trip, I listened the entire way. I have told others about the app.

Shout out to TTW Sometime at the beginning of the year, I felt like I was fading. I wasn't sick or anything, but I felt like there a very big breach between myself and God. When I was done running because I felt ashamed to come to him, I went on YouTube and was listening to a message by Joyce Meyer in Lakewood church when an add popped up. It was about TTW. Having already subscribed to You version bible app, I decided to download the TTW app and it has been amazing. I know that I am not alone, God is with me through my struggles. I felt settled. While there are times when I still worry, times when it feels like a certain temptation threatens to be more than I can handle, I have God and I feel an immeasurable amount of peace knowing that.

This has been an incredible experience as my wife and I have gone through 3 years of different daily devotionals with Through the Word. It has been truly an awesome experience. Kris' teaching and the others who have participated with him are a true blessing. My faith in God has been impacted in great ways. Praising God for how He is using Through the Word to draw people to Himself through the accurate, scriptural Bible teaching of Kris and his team.

Wow, what a blessing this app is. I’ve started a morning routine to listen daily. What an amazing way to open each day. I also listen to specific chapters right before I go to a small group session. It makes those groups so much more meaningful. I can’t believe it’s totally free! It’s been such a blessing that I’ve started saving up so I can make a donation. And, I tell everyone about it. So many people are now using it with me. I could go on about other ways I us it but I believe I’ve gotten the message across! It was indeed an amazing journey through the chapters of Genesis. It is an eye opener to a lot of things I never understood. The explanation before each chapter gave me better understanding and insight. Thank you.

It is a wonderful plan. It has renewed what I already knew, that God is my strength, healer, friend waymaker miracle worker and so much more. I look forward to continuing this journey I'll be 75 next month but I still live to learn more about my God.

I am 76 years old and have been a Christian for many years, but have never really developed the habit of daily quiet times. I start off well, but after a few weeks I lapse. Since I discovered TTW, I have so far managed journey 1 and 2 and still going strong! So thanks for inspiring me, and I think we’re in this together now. Praise God!

I really like the layout of this app. I think it is really going to help make Bible study a higher priority in my life. Over the past few months my screen time has had a very negative impact on the time I spend in God’s word and I hope this app helps me to combat that bad habit. TTW has been the primary tool that I use to read and study the Bible. I am only through Foundation 3 but I have learned so much already. I am going through all of the Foundations with my 3 sister-in-law laws and have learned ,I h from their insight as we comment on the chapters and commentary every day. Thank you for providing a meaningful platform to study God’s word.
