Wow, wow and wow again🙌🏽🙏🏽. This app has been an answer of years of prayer. I am a prayer warrior, but have always found it difficult to spend time in the Word. It was such a struggle for me to instill the discipline required to read the word daily with a practical, systematic routine!!! Thanks to TTW, I can proudly say the past 10 days have proven to be very fruitful, as I’ve completed journey 1👏🏽I feel that I can say with confidence that I have successfully covered two books in the bible with better understanding👏🏽 Thanks to your app and brilliant teaching on each chapter👏🏽 I feel that my journey through the Word will be more solid this time around💃🏽 Hallelujah 🙌🏽 🌹

I love this app and tell everyone about it. This journey has helped me to see the types and symbols hidden in Numbers to point all to Jesus. How they camped in the shape of the cross with the Temple at the Center. How Aaron rushed in to save the Israelites from a plague to Symbolize Jesus coming in among us to save us. I have learned so much and am so thankful for the day I discovered TTW.

I can listen to the Word anywhere, driving, sitting, cooking, gardening. I am learning things I didnt realize. Helps me understand and think more derply about Gods Word. I love the app!

After the death of my son, I was told about this app to help me with my grief. I've always been a believer, but after losing my mam when I was 16 and then my son when I was 53, it did make me question god as to why he made me suffer so much and what had I done to deserve this. After a short time, the death of my son brought me closer to God. I thank God every day for looking after my mam and boy until my days are up. What a wonderful app this is

The books can be hard to comprehend at times. The gives a great teaching and adds context to the writings that is invaluable to understanding. I truly thank this team for the hard work they do.

The Book of Ezekiel comes alive... It further made me understand that God can use us as He please, and we will do ourselves well to just submit — just like Ezekiel. Connecting the Book to the New testament is wonderful. My life has changed the more! Glory to God for Through The Word, God bless you. I was Catholic but after having a born again experience in which I was saved, I realised how little I knew about the Bible. I started attending a Christian Bible church and someone there suggested Through The Word app. I now listen to a journey on my drive to and from work. It has changed my life as I now understand the Bible and I am in awe of what it contains. It has helped me grow in Faith, so thank you.

Amazing is the first word in my head. My best friend that lives in another state had suggested TTW to me. Being younger I grew up in a Catholic Church in MO. Then in my teenage years i moved to KY I went to a baptist church on and off. Didn’t really feel it I guess you could say. Mid twenties I married a man whose father was a baptist preacher went to church faithfully and then baptized. I didn’t read the Bible. I didn’t understand the words the meanings anything. Listened to preacher his sermon it always felt like it was directed exactly towards me lol. As others do. Anyways me and my husband divorced and stopped going to church at all. Decades later my friend told me about TTW I am so thankful and blessed. I was so uneducated I couldn’t tell you where the New Testament and Old Testament were in the front or the back. I look back now and just think I knew absolutely NOTHING went to church felt saved and baptized but little did I know and I realize now how uneducated I really was. Now I read TTW every single night with the Bible also. I’m learning so much and I don’t push but I do recommend this to everyone I know. I now go to church and I am saved I pray on every chapter for people for the world at night during the day on the toilet where ever it hits me. I have such peace in my heart and my soul and I feel it everyday. Do I get upset yes do I cry yes do I get discouraged yes but my lord in savior is there every time. I can always tell if I put a little distance between me and him all things that happen are so much harder on me. The closer I am things roll of my back easier and I feel his presence. I am now going to get rebaptized in 3 weeks. I am blessed by a friend and blessed by y’all at TTW for this remarkable experience. One other thing my entire life has changed in every aspect. Grief is so easlier to deal with. I have been in grief since my mom has passed 15 years or more. I’ve tried to commit suicide twice been in phyc units several times. A therapist every week. Now I talk to my therapist maybe every four weeks and have nothing to talk about bad in my life. Just explain that God has got me and I’m comfortable just with me and him and don’t need anyone jut him. He knows and he’s there ALWAYS!!! I am soooo blessed to have TTW and learn and try to do my best but yes I fail but he’s still there. Because of you I have a Christian life. Filled with stories of the Bible and lessons. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will continue this everyday when I’m finally through all them I will start over and learn and understand even more. AMEN THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE AND ALWAYS BE GREATFUL TO YALL FOR MY FRIENDS ADVICE AND TO YALL FORSURE. It’s the best thing, the best gift I could ever ask for!

I really appreciated the introduction to Leviticus. To be honest I was kind of dreading going through this book. I have been through it before and found it difficult to understand. After listening to the introduction with the humor and great analogies to our everyday life along with a clear explanation of how this chapter points to Jesus sacrifice for us I actually look forward to the book of Leviticus! This is the second time I’ve heard someone say that Leviticus is their favorite book in the Bible. If my memory is correct I think I heard Dr. Vernon Magee say that it was his favorite book also. At the time I couldn’t understand that, but after the introduction I get it! I’m now done with the first two chapters and look forward to the rest of the book. I’m grateful for your ministry! TTW Journey on Law and Grace has had a deep impact on my understanding of freedom in Christ. Learned the difference between rule following and walking in the Spirit. Thank you for this ministry. My daily time in the WORD is rich in guiding me through each day.

Through the word has truly helped my connection with God and fully understanding God‘s words. I would definitely recommend through the word to all my friends and family and anybody looking for help having understanding of what God is truly revealing. It’s my favorite time of the day when I get to read God‘s word and then have through the word. Explain it. I was so lost with the old testament, and because the word has given me, great knowledge and understanding of the contents Made clear. Just finished the study on The Kingdom. I love studying prophecy! It swells my heart with joy, thankfulness and praise to know how much we have in Christ right now, and to have a glimpse of what our future with Him will be!

I had a weight problem. All my life I could never lose weight. I was addicted to sweets. I was so embarrassed. I would be at someones house. If there was a plate of cookies I. Would keep eating them until they were gone. In August 2024 I realized i needed to lose weight for health reasons. I went before God and cried out to Him finally admitting i couldn’t do it. God askked me to give him my addiction to sweets. I reminded Him how weak I was. He. Repeated what He said and told me he would help me. He did. He has taken awayk my addiction. Each time I wanted some sweet I ran to Him and He helped to resist. He distracted me, brought people to my rescue when others tried to tempt me. He also helped me chose right food for me to eat. He strengthened me to stop eating before I am full. I have lost thirty pounds, but even more, I have seen the Lors’s strength and meet his friendship. He was faithful to keep his word, even when I struggled and wanted those sweets He stood by me. I have never really meet this side of God. He is there in temptation, His power is amazing against the enemy! This study on temptation with Peyton Jones has reaffirmed my experience with God and renewes my soul to continue on and not grow weary. Eating is so much more relaxed now because I am not afraid of how I will eat. God says stop, He helps me pick out meals in restaurants. When ever I turn to Him He is there. I praise God for who He is to us. This study bring many valid points to the table. One is God wants to rescue us from the enemy and He has the power to do so. Turning to Go He reminds you of His word and His word and the power of it sends the enemy running. This life time of struggle seem so dim not. It no longer consumes my life and I am free from shame and failure. My Savior did thid for me. Thanks Mr Jones for spurring me to continue on and deal with other areas in my life.

I am 53 years old. I've been a pastor/preacher for 27 years with a fairly deep understanding of Scripture. And.....then TTW happened. I'm not sure how I came across the app. But I have to tell you I am in love with it. I am excited every morning as I sit down with my coffee and begin my study. I've told my congregation about this too. There is rich sermon material here for all the preachers out there. It's a treasure trove! This app has become very dear to me personally too. I have been deeply enriched by listening to FOUNDATIONS and PSALMS. Many times I had to stop to wipe my tears and start worshipping God, thanking Him. So, I really thank you for the fantastic work you've done for me as the Holy Spirit uses these truths. GOD IS WORKING THROUGH YOU, DEAR FRIEND. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! And I highly recommend this to anyone desiring a serious study of God's word and the truth. God bless you.

I needed a little more Jesus than most and I was thrilled to find ttw many years ago. Eventhough I grew up in church and left for awhile, I have the same need of Jesus and I have learned so much by listening to ttw. I shared it with my Bible study group, friends, professional acquaintances and it blows me away how many times it has been shared from there. I know I am closer to the Lord because of this app and my obedience to keep seeking him. I pray for your ministry always.

Every morning we have scripture for our students. We are working through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. TTW has been a great way to refresh and expand my understanding of God’s word. It is a living word that reveals new truth to me everyday. Thanks for the program and the suggested additional resources.

After 40 years in an abusive marriage I finely found the strength to leave. I was left so broken I didn’t know how I could survive. My oldest daughter took me to church and I started to see some future but didn’t understand a lot of it. My middle daughter told me about TTW and I started at the beginning. It changed my life, I opened up like a beautiful flower being fed by God’s light. Thank you so much God has used you to help give me purpose and life.

A good friend put me onto TTW several years ago and I am so thankful! Just finished(temporarily) Revelation. I have had the YouVersion Bible app for many years, and through a Bible plan I was introduced to Through The Word. I downloaded it immediately. My husband normally does the plans with me and an occasional friend. Doing Journey 2, my husband stopped me and said, now I know that the Lamb is Jesus! I am 71, he is 69 and we have been Christians since we were young, me since I was 4 years old and him as a young teen. He has read the Bible and we have attended many churches. Thank you for this revealing of Jesus as the Lamb of God. We continue our walk with Jesus as we go through life.

Good morning. I wanted to reach out and thank you! Thank you for through the word. Thank you for your time and energy and faith. Your passion. Your app has brought me closer to God more than i ever thought possible. Just this time last year I was a lost, sad, depressed, anxious, suicidal ideations, borderline alcoholic. I got married in May and we randomly found a pastor here to marry us. He ended up doing such a good job at our wedding we thought let’s check his church out and give to the church as further payment to him. But I promise since going to Journey Church it has been life changing. Every sermon has spoken to me in a different way each time. Filling my heart and soul each Sunday. One day he spoke about his series he did called the thin red line. Which Calls for men specifically in our church to wear the armor of God. That spoke to me as I felt lost as a man. Just getting married and having been married twice before to women who belittled me and abused me I didn’t have That sense of being a man. Adultery, pain, addiction to porn and nicotine and evil music were what I used to heal myself. But obviously those aren’t things I needed to get better. But the sermon spoke to me and I knew that’s where I wanted to put my energy. But even through that series I stilll felt lost. Felt fake. Like I was a fake Christian. I didn’t know where to begin with getting in word or how to read so I still was faking it. Well later on Pastor James takes about The Crucible Project. He spoke of how his life was before going and what it did to transform him as a man. That was it. I knew I had to go. And man was that weekend eye opening. I finally was able to open up to men about my pain and be honest and intentional. Yo know what it means to live with integrity. To live for Christ. . I was on the right path but still didn’t know where to go with the Bible. But my friend from that weekend sent me the link for your app Since I got in to the journeys on the app I’ve never looked back. Each day on my drive to work I listen to a few chapters. It’s been so great. You’ve really helped me learn about the Bible in a way I never thought possible. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me on my journey to be a better man, Christian and husband. We just found out we’re going to have our first child and since your app and coming to know God I feel I’m in such a good place to meet these challenges. Thank you a million times.

Through the word has helped me so much . I had gotten in a bad habit of just reading my devotions and not spending much time in the Word, my husband who is a Pastor, shared this app with me and I have absolutely loved waking up each morning and studying Gods word ! Besides being a follower of Jesus, which THAT is the most amazing life change there is and will ever be, this app is definitely a must have in your walk with Christ! I’m addicted to learning more about and diving way deep into the Word of God. I’ve been using TTW for years and as introverted as I am, my faith in Jesus Christ and the TTW app are two things I greatly will shout about as long as I have breath in my lungs! Praise Jesus and definitely I recommend downloading and actively using this app to help you grow in your walk with Jesus! Kris & TTW Team, Recently, my wife of 40 years of marriage passed away after a long, two year health battle. Kris And others had been part of my morning quiet time for many years now. I was her primary Caregiver, going to doctors appointments 2 to 3 times per week along with still working full-time. I mention all of this to give perspective, not for any sympathy. I absolutely could not have made it through without consistently being in God’s word every day. I love TTW and how it is designed. Short, well thought out devotion, followed by the word. After she passed three months ago, I was looking how to increase my tithe in other ways.TTW was one of the first thoughts, I believe, that God brought to my mind. I love giving consistently with each paycheck! I sharedTTW with my son, and he has used your app regularly! May God continue to bless all of you!

Journey 2: I just finished the 2nd Journey. I so enjoy how the Bible is discussed and explained chapter by chapter. I read the Bible from front to back over the past 4 years. Reading it in Journeys is so much better. Thank you for providing this. God bless each of you working on this project.

A very dear friend told me about this app told me I need to download it and take the journey it's one you won't forget the pastors are down to earth and they help with your journey, so after a few days I downloaded the app and that's where I met Kris Langham through the word pastor and he has be awesome throughout all my journeys I have been taken with Kris my life isn't what it should be and I'm not right with God like I should be but listing to Kris Langham he literally has brought me closer to God than I have ever been on my own it feels like he actually knows me he explains what scriptures mean and tells me story's about his life and how God has changed him to the man he is today it's funny cause we are literally alike same taste in music and sense of humor even the movies we have in common I have never met a pastor with this kind of ability to shed light into the dark places I have in my life I have never even met him but taken the journeys that he has prepared for all of us is amazing he has pushed me to read my Bible everyday and to open my heart to God so the holy Spirit and God can start my transformation and its glorious i owe to pastor Kris Langham for me helping me each day I start a journey or read the Bible it has changed my life completely around , i am on like my 14th journey through the Bible with kris I actually look forward to reading my Bible that's something I thought i would never say .So to who ever reads this don't pass this opportunity up this is a great learning experience I promise you that you will be glad you did.. I have always been told that a blessing always comes after reading Revelations. Revelations was a hard book to understand until I got this app. I am now reading each book one at a time as well as one chapter at a time. Thank you so so much !!!

Hi TTW Team, I discovered your app a few years ago through the Bible app devotionals. I’ve really enjoyed the teachings. Recently my 17 year old son has started listening too and it’s so amazing to hear him share with me how his faith is growing through his study of the Bible. He graduated high school yesterday and plans to go to college this fall. Last night he talked to me about he really appreciates how grace works and that no matter what he accomplishes, he realizes his relationship with Jesus is based on grace, not on his own works. Took me a lot longer to figure that one out! Thank you for doing the work you do, so that people like my son and I can grow in our understanding and also in our faith!

Fantastic!!!!!!!!! 10 minutes of teaching and 10 minutes of Bible reading is very easily doable in a day therefore one does not get discouraged and feel like a failure. The Contant by the teachers is excellent. I learned something all the time and have been a Christian for 35 years. So glad I found you.

I have heard multiple audio bibles, I love that there is commentary on every chapter. I have learned so much listening to these audio guides. I do hope they will add CarPlay compatibility at some point.

I'm thankful this through the word app he has help me understand more God's word and I feel connection with Lord and feel the Lord presence in his word. I love that I am getting closer to the Lord and understanding more his word and it's very helpful that through this app we can get that. The book of James has taught me so much I have been grumbling and judging people for the unchrist like things they do and now I know it's not my job to judge and to stop grumbling, but pray for those people and to ask for forgiveness for myself. I will read through word of James miny more times. Thank you for helping me understand the bible. Blessings on all of you 🙏

The book of Job has really opened my eyes. I think about how that three letter word, "Why" can lead me into darkness. How we can become too comfortable on earth. Thanks be to God!

Through The Word has helped me become consistent in Bible study as I try to study almost everyday using the guide. I just completed the book of Romans and I feel free; no more condemnation or guilt. Christ died for everyone and I have an inheritance in the Lord. It has opened my eyes to see that generosity in the house of the Lord, and even to those who are not in Christ yet is recognised. Over all, I feel peace and joy after studying the book of Romans. On to the next book! Yay! Kudos to Pastor Kris and the entire TTW team. God bless y'all for this impactful mission. Amen.

Going through the journeys has helped me to understand what I am reading. Reading through it alone is very difficult and can get confusing. I have been a church kid my whole life, but have never felt confident in the word. This year, I could feel and hear God call upon me and I have decided to open my heart and get baptized for the first time in my life. Thank you for creating this platform to help me fully understand God’s calling on my life.

I love the real life conversation with the scripture and our current lifestyle. The story is told by a friend you have known since childhood. It is presented with humor and biblical wisdom!! I’m hooked!!

Going through Numbers a highlight was the commentary on ch 30 where Kris talks about the importance of a man keeping his word and the responsibilities of a husband. It will stay with me, thank you.

I was introduced to TTW a few years ago and it has become my daily companion. My knowledge and appreciation of the Bible and of the word of God has grown, and with it, so has my faith!

Aloha, Just wanted to say thank you all the way from Hawaii for your ministry. I love that it’s accessible, practical, and heartfelt. I can see that all the leaders involved seek to do their best in Teaching the Bible in its entirety and full council. I grew up in a Southern Baptist Church here in Hawaii. I’m so thankful because that church taught me to read the word, seek God’s understanding, and live it. However, there’s also the human side that taught me legalism and sometimes isolated some texts to fit the Southern Baptists ideas. There have been times when doing one of The devotions in TTW And one of you will share something that lines up with who Jesus is, and God’s full council as opposed to what I was taught as an impressionable youth and held onto into my adult life. Thank you so much for all you guys do and I pray that many are reached and encouraged like I’ve been.

God’s fingerprints are all over my life. I may have to face some difficult times but He is the God of the impossible! He is the God of the Great Reversal! His promises stand true. In His great love for me, I will continue to believe that all of life’s events pass through the very hand of God and nothing comes by chance.

I love the simplicity of going through the Bible at small chunks. I've encouraged my church members to download the app in hopes of doing a daily devotional and charity of Scripture. I love what God have you all doing. Great ministry work.

I had never sat down and studied 1 Peter. It has already helped me witness to a person in a bad place. “We are not perfect, just sanctified”! Continue to love one another deeply from your heart! Overcome evil with good! Those were some of my highlights. This might be my biggest takeaway … Live such good lives among the pagans that though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits! Life doesn’t need to be hard … just love one another, suffer well and do good!

So easy to navigate, see plans, read and so much stuff, so easily layered out and so helpful to learn the Bible like I never did before. One of the Best Faith Apps Ever !! I completed the Marriage Talk audio guide series . I'm so glad I invested my time . I feel everyone who is looking to be married or is married needs to listen to this series on the App..im also planning to do some other Topical plans as well & I've also started a Bible Bookclub with the App as well . I love that you can share them easily with others . I highly recommended this app to everyone!!

Such an amazing devotional. I was afraid of the book of Revelations for a long while but it’s such an amazing eye opening book of the return of my Lord and Savion. It’s like a preview for a much see movie but so much better. I cannot wait to see Him face to face. Very well narrated.

It did not occur to me that when I got married at the alter that it was a place of sacrifice. What were we sacrificing? A bit of ourselves for the other person? That is contrary to the worlds way of individuality and making your own decisions as an adult. I also liked 1+1=1 also strange.

Through the word has done it again. I truly love the bible and it's teachings. The teachers that God has chosen for us to understand the word. Peyton Jones is awesome and clearly explains everything. Love his stories and examples. Yet, towards the end he let me know how we must trust in God and for us to trust in him.

I started the 19 Journeys in the fall of 2021. Tomorrow I will begin Journey 18. I have stayed consistent in my study. I have been a believer in Jesus since I was a child. I never wavered but I had an “elementary” kind of Sunday School - Jesus Loves Me faith. Prior to TTW I started the podcast Bible in a Year, but it did not engage me. I started reading the Bible on my own with no study attached in 2020, but when I got to Numbers it was tough. So I went to the Gospels and while I understood it better I wanted more explanation. From there I read some really good books: Searching for Allah- Finding Jesus, More Than a Carpenter, Game Plan for Life and The Case for Christ. All great reads. In 2021 I was using the Bible App to read Romans - because during Covid everyone needed to read Romans😉 and I found TTW on the Bible App and I did the book of Romans. I was thrilled to find the App and see I could read the entire Bible. So here I am today: May 27th 2024 and I have 2 Journeys to go. What I love about the Journey’s in get to read the BT twice. Also, the institution I have received, especially in the OT was much needed. The variety of Pastors presenting is nice. I also listen to the audio of the chapters and lucky for my I have a NIV Bible because this narrator is the absolute best! He must have been a British actor. I was asked by a friend how studying/ reading has change me. My answer is this experience is life changing! I left the ELCA Lutheran church. My husband and I joined a Bible Based Christian Church and we did a believers Baptism in 2022. I share this good news with friends and family if I think it needs to be said by me. For other friends or family who are non- believers when they have challenges I always tell them I will pray for them and I do. TTW helped get me through Covid, the craziness of the spirit of this world that plagues our country and world. I encourage you to donate to TTW if you have not already done so and also pray for Pastor Kris, his family and the entire team at TTW. This 59 year old wife, mother of 4 and grandma of 3 ( all believers - praise God) gives TTW 5 stars! This ministry is truly making a difference. P.S. sorry about the typos.
