These books show that there is still good in the world and God loves them. May I be that strong for my God.

I have been reading the Bible for years and have never received the understanding of the underlying and interelated themes. Love this app and use it daily. Thank you so much.

I understood Galatians so well now. I read it many times. thank u for the explanation. Indeed I will see this book in a different perspective. This Journey 4 has been life changing. May the GRACE of God abound through this ministry. It helps a lot of soul.

I want to follow you Lord. Help me to do so. Studying the book of John with TTW has enhanced my desire to keep focus on the one that matters the most. It’s not always easy but in a world much more disruptive than John’s, we still can follow Jesus

I love Kris Langham and all the people on Through the Word and their teachings. About halfway through the first session devotional of Revelations on the You Version Bible app I downloaded Through the Word app. I wanted to dig deeper into Daniel because of Kris’s teaching of Revelations. After finishing Daniel, I feel I have a better understanding of God’s plans and the exceptional servant Daniel was and the handling of his visions. I will be doing Daniel again with a friend.

Very good ty I'm 70 now and all alone. I've asked God for over 25 years now and nothing. I don't know why but I still believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

Journey 2 completed 2nd round on my journey to learn more about the Bible. Many blessings to everyone on the team at Through the Word on making this awesome app. This app along with the Holy Bible app has opened my eyes to new meanings.

I built a good habit in my life by knowing Jesus better with each bible reading insight. I grew a positive practice with the Holy Spirit by applying the bible knowledge to my experiences. I am maintaining a healthy relationship with Christ and his principles in my situations to improve my life and to do good towards others.

This plan was a blessing to me. It allowed me to want to know Jesus even more. I am excited as I embark on this journey and I look forward to the next plan.

Thank you for TTW plan for Matthew. While I enjoyed the whole plan, the illumination in Matthew 25 was most impacting on my life, to always live in the present, ready for Jesus. As a mental health advocate, I share TTW with my colleagues as the tool of working on the mindset of Christ for health and wellbeing. God bless you for teaching us the whole truth.

Thank You, Jesus for leading me to “Through the Word”. I have thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated hearing Your word through Pastor Kris, Pastor Peyton and everyone else who has contributed to the ongoing journey of mine. I love Through The Word app. I recommend it to people I disciple. My husband & I use it in our couple's devotion time. We started in Acts and finished through Revelation. Then we went to Genesis and are now in 1 Chronicles. Our journey has been delightful, and the explanations of each chapter are very helpful. I like that TTW is updating some of their material. It keeps it fresh. I also use TTW in my personal readings. I recently finished Isaiah and have a deeper appreciation for his ministry.

Love the ease of use. Listening during my work day really helps me get through the day. Pastor Kris’ breakdown of the verses is really helpful understanding the Bible. I would highly recommend!

I’ve never read through the book of Joel before - even when I had previously read my BIOY! I think that I must have just glossed over it because Melanie really opened it out to me! It’s like a synopsis of The book of Revelation, which in itself is a synopsis of the Bible, which of course is an outline of the Plan of Salvation! I really “enjoyed” this journey through the word. For the first time, the book of Joel has depth and meaning. I really appreciate this insight and understanding. I will be sharing this insight with my Bible Study class, we’re looking at The book of Revelation and I don’t think that we’ve made the link! Thank you.

Studying the book of Acts with Peyton was a great blessing to me. Sharing Paul’s journey was like a novel that I didn’t want to put down, yet each day it gave me food for thought. Thank you for TTW!

Hello TTW, I have been so blessed listening to your chapter by chapter messages each morning. God is doing a good work through you. Thank you! Yesterday I listened to your breakdown of James 2 in the side B message. It seems that instead of using Paul or James as the points of emphasis for our salvation we should be focusing on what the Author of our faith says. In John 15 Jesus says we need to have faith in Him in order to be a branch grafted into Him as the vine. But just being a grafted branch isn’t enough. If we don’t abide and obey we cannot remain grafted to the Vine. The words of Paul and James are just more plainly stating what Jesus stated allegorically. In Matthew 7 Jesus clearly states that those professing truth will be recognized by their fruit. So it is our faith is what connects us to the source of our salvation AND works (abiding and obeying) is whats keeps us there. Thank you Lord Jesus!

I really did not know how to live the christian life. Because they are so much instructions, but through the word has helped me to start trusting in God which means not sorry about it but just handing it over to him through short prayers that u can pray in your mind

When Chris gave his story about traveling 15 miles in traffic to see a girl, it was the destination that made his ride enjoyable. I didn’t see my life as enjoyable because of life’s frustrations. Those frustrations along the way, will make me stronger and the journey will become more enjoyable by focusing on the end result as seeing and being with Jesus. I need to remember it’s always about Jesus.

This app has truly been a blessing, I love to learn more about God but sometimes can’t focus when reading. So this app has truly been a game changer!!!! Thank you and may God bless you and yours always and forever

I started with Through The Word more than a few years ago and it has definitely enriched my life by increasing my time in and understanding of the Bible. Currently, I am reading the one year Bible and I listen to each daily reading in The Through The Word app so I’m not just reading the Bible I hear it and get a 10 minute Bible teaching for each chapter. It’s an amazing journey and I don’t want it to end. I’m constantly learning new things. Through The Word is truly a God send! Praise the Lord!

I have been doing these plans for over two years now. They have helped me to be consistent in my reading of the word. Listening and reading keeps the word of God in the forefront of my mind most all of the time. It has truly been a blessing to me. Thank you for your service and the time that it took to do these.

I'm excited to share that I discovered this amazing resource, thanks to Pastor Kris on the YouVersion app in January 2024. Through the Word has been an absolute game-changer for me as an Adult Bible Study teacher, especially since I do not have formal Theology training. One lesson that really touched my heart was on Psalm 22, where I learned about David's powerful encounter that foreshadowed Jesus' crucifixion. Pastor Sandy shared some incredible details about the medical condition of crucifixion, describing it as a cruel, painful, and slow death. It left me with a deep sense of repentance and made me truly understand the magnitude of Jesus' sacrifice. According to Pastor Sandy, ‘Jesus died of a broken heart.’ What I love most about Through the Word is how easily the material can be absorbed. It's such a tremendous resource that has enriched my understanding of the Old Testament. Studying the Old Testament can be quite daunting, but with the guidance of Pastor Kris and my newfound friends, it has become an enjoyable and enlightening experience. I'm grateful to have found Through the Word and to be able to share its teachings with my Bible class. It's truly a blessing to have such a comprehensive and accessible tool to delve deeper into the Word of God. P.S. I’ve shared this app with quite a few of my friends and relatives!

Hello fam, I listen to through the word everyday on my way to work, I love this app thank you for the effort you put on it. I don't have a story, but I want to share something with you. I am a Christian from the Middle East, from Syria to be specific. I wasn't a muslim and became Christian no! my parents, grand parents.... all Christians. Countries of the levant area (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, even Egypt) have a lot of Christians, actually maybe we are one of the first Christians. I live now in France, but my parents still live in Damascus, we have churches there too! Please don't forget us, pray for us! don't just pray for one side of the story! Thank you!

By the power of the Holy Spirit, I embraced God’s Love, Mercy and Grace. I found community among believers who encouraged me in my faith journey. In proclaiming the Gospel, I share the abundant life found in Jesus Christ, knowing that His LOVE conquers all.

This Plan of the Book of Psalms was very good and encouraging to me because it revealed the AWESOMENESS of GOD and yet HIS LOVING KINDNESS for us. It verifies that GOD is to be REVERED and TRUSTED . GREAT PLAN, THANK YOU

Wow, wow and wow again🙌🏽🙏🏽. This app has been an answer of years of prayer. I am a prayer warrior, but have always found it difficult to spend time in the Word. It was such a struggle for me to instill the discipline required to read the word daily with a practical, systematic routine!!! Thanks to TTW, I can proudly say the past 10 days have proven to be very fruitful, as I’ve completed journey 1👏🏽I feel that I can say with confidence that I have successfully covered two books in the bible with better understanding👏🏽 Thanks to your app and brilliant teaching on each chapter👏🏽 I feel that my journey through the Word will be more solid this time around💃🏽 Hallelujah 🙌🏽 🌹

I love this app and tell everyone about it. This journey has helped me to see the types and symbols hidden in Numbers to point all to Jesus. How they camped in the shape of the cross with the Temple at the Center. How Aaron rushed in to save the Israelites from a plague to Symbolize Jesus coming in among us to save us. I have learned so much and am so thankful for the day I discovered TTW.

I can listen to the Word anywhere, driving, sitting, cooking, gardening. I am learning things I didnt realize. Helps me understand and think more derply about Gods Word. I love the app!

After the death of my son, I was told about this app to help me with my grief. I've always been a believer, but after losing my mam when I was 16 and then my son when I was 53, it did make me question god as to why he made me suffer so much and what had I done to deserve this. After a short time, the death of my son brought me closer to God. I thank God every day for looking after my mam and boy until my days are up. What a wonderful app this is

The books can be hard to comprehend at times. The gives a great teaching and adds context to the writings that is invaluable to understanding. I truly thank this team for the hard work they do.

The Book of Ezekiel comes alive... It further made me understand that God can use us as He please, and we will do ourselves well to just submit — just like Ezekiel. Connecting the Book to the New testament is wonderful. My life has changed the more! Glory to God for Through The Word, God bless you. I was Catholic but after having a born again experience in which I was saved, I realised how little I knew about the Bible. I started attending a Christian Bible church and someone there suggested Through The Word app. I now listen to a journey on my drive to and from work. It has changed my life as I now understand the Bible and I am in awe of what it contains. It has helped me grow in Faith, so thank you.

Amazing is the first word in my head. My best friend that lives in another state had suggested TTW to me. Being younger I grew up in a Catholic Church in MO. Then in my teenage years i moved to KY I went to a baptist church on and off. Didn’t really feel it I guess you could say. Mid twenties I married a man whose father was a baptist preacher went to church faithfully and then baptized. I didn’t read the Bible. I didn’t understand the words the meanings anything. Listened to preacher his sermon it always felt like it was directed exactly towards me lol. As others do. Anyways me and my husband divorced and stopped going to church at all. Decades later my friend told me about TTW I am so thankful and blessed. I was so uneducated I couldn’t tell you where the New Testament and Old Testament were in the front or the back. I look back now and just think I knew absolutely NOTHING went to church felt saved and baptized but little did I know and I realize now how uneducated I really was. Now I read TTW every single night with the Bible also. I’m learning so much and I don’t push but I do recommend this to everyone I know. I now go to church and I am saved I pray on every chapter for people for the world at night during the day on the toilet where ever it hits me. I have such peace in my heart and my soul and I feel it everyday. Do I get upset yes do I cry yes do I get discouraged yes but my lord in savior is there every time. I can always tell if I put a little distance between me and him all things that happen are so much harder on me. The closer I am things roll of my back easier and I feel his presence. I am now going to get rebaptized in 3 weeks. I am blessed by a friend and blessed by y’all at TTW for this remarkable experience. One other thing my entire life has changed in every aspect. Grief is so easlier to deal with. I have been in grief since my mom has passed 15 years or more. I’ve tried to commit suicide twice been in phyc units several times. A therapist every week. Now I talk to my therapist maybe every four weeks and have nothing to talk about bad in my life. Just explain that God has got me and I’m comfortable just with me and him and don’t need anyone jut him. He knows and he’s there ALWAYS!!! I am soooo blessed to have TTW and learn and try to do my best but yes I fail but he’s still there. Because of you I have a Christian life. Filled with stories of the Bible and lessons. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will continue this everyday when I’m finally through all them I will start over and learn and understand even more. AMEN THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE AND ALWAYS BE GREATFUL TO YALL FOR MY FRIENDS ADVICE AND TO YALL FORSURE. It’s the best thing, the best gift I could ever ask for!

I really appreciated the introduction to Leviticus. To be honest I was kind of dreading going through this book. I have been through it before and found it difficult to understand. After listening to the introduction with the humor and great analogies to our everyday life along with a clear explanation of how this chapter points to Jesus sacrifice for us I actually look forward to the book of Leviticus! This is the second time I’ve heard someone say that Leviticus is their favorite book in the Bible. If my memory is correct I think I heard Dr. Vernon Magee say that it was his favorite book also. At the time I couldn’t understand that, but after the introduction I get it! I’m now done with the first two chapters and look forward to the rest of the book. I’m grateful for your ministry! TTW Journey on Law and Grace has had a deep impact on my understanding of freedom in Christ. Learned the difference between rule following and walking in the Spirit. Thank you for this ministry. My daily time in the WORD is rich in guiding me through each day.

Through the word has truly helped my connection with God and fully understanding God‘s words. Just finished the study on The Kingdom. I love studying prophecy! It swells my heart with joy, thankfulness and praise to know how much we have in Christ right now, and to have a glimpse of what our future with Him will be!

I had a weight problem. All my life I could never lose weight. I was addicted to sweets. I was so embarrassed. I would be at someones house. If there was a plate of cookies I. Would keep eating them until they were gone. In August 2024 I realized i needed to lose weight for health reasons. I went before God and cried out to Him finally admitting i couldn’t do it. God askked me to give him my addiction to sweets. I reminded Him how weak I was. He. Repeated what He said and told me he would help me. He did. He has taken awayk my addiction. Each time I wanted some sweet I ran to Him and He helped to resist. He distracted me, brought people to my rescue when others tried to tempt me. He also helped me chose right food for me to eat. He strengthened me to stop eating before I am full. I have lost thirty pounds, but even more, I have seen the Lors’s strength and meet his friendship. He was faithful to keep his word, even when I struggled and wanted those sweets He stood by me. I have never really meet this side of God. He is there in temptation, His power is amazing against the enemy! This study on temptation with Peyton Jones has reaffirmed my experience with God and renewes my soul to continue on and not grow weary. Eating is so much more relaxed now because I am not afraid of how I will eat. God says stop, He helps me pick out meals in restaurants. When ever I turn to Him He is there. I praise God for who He is to us. This study bring many valid points to the table. One is God wants to rescue us from the enemy and He has the power to do so. Turning to Go He reminds you of His word and His word and the power of it sends the enemy running. This life time of struggle seem so dim not. It no longer consumes my life and I am free from shame and failure. My Savior did thid for me. Thanks Mr Jones for spurring me to continue on and deal with other areas in my life.

I am 53 years old. I've been a pastor/preacher for 27 years with a fairly deep understanding of Scripture. And.....then TTW happened. I'm not sure how I came across the app. But I have to tell you I am in love with it. I am excited every morning as I sit down with my coffee and begin my study. I've told my congregation about this too. There is rich sermon material here for all the preachers out there. It's a treasure trove! This app has become very dear to me personally too. I have been deeply enriched by listening to FOUNDATIONS and PSALMS. Many times I had to stop to wipe my tears and start worshipping God, thanking Him. So, I really thank you for the fantastic work you've done for me as the Holy Spirit uses these truths. GOD IS WORKING THROUGH YOU, DEAR FRIEND. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I needed a little more Jesus than most and I was thrilled to find ttw many years ago. Eventhough I grew up in church and left for awhile, I have the same need of Jesus and I have learned so much by listening to ttw. I shared it with my Bible study group, friends, professional acquaintances and it blows me away how many times it has been shared from there. I know I am closer to the Lord because of this app and my obedience to keep seeking him. I pray for your ministry always.

Every morning we have scripture for our students. We are working through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. TTW has been a great way to refresh and expand my understanding of God’s word. It is a living word that reveals new truth to me everyday. Thanks for the program and the suggested additional resources.

After 40 years in an abusive marriage I finely found the strength to leave. I was left so broken I didn’t know how I could survive. My oldest daughter took me to church and I started to see some future but didn’t understand a lot of it. My middle daughter told me about TTW and I started at the beginning. It changed my life, I opened up like a beautiful flower being fed by God’s light. Thank you so much God has used you to help give me purpose and life.

A good friend put me onto TTW several years ago and I am so thankful! Just finished(temporarily) Revelation. I have had the YouVersion Bible app for many years, and through a Bible plan I was introduced to Through The Word. I downloaded it immediately. My husband normally does the plans with me and an occasional friend. Doing Journey 2, my husband stopped me and said, now I know that the Lamb is Jesus! I am 71, he is 69 and we have been Christians since we were young, me since I was 4 years old and him as a young teen. He has read the Bible and we have attended many churches. Thank you for this revealing of Jesus as the Lamb of God. We continue our walk with Jesus as we go through life.

Good morning. I wanted to reach out and thank you! Thank you for through the word. Thank you for your time and energy and faith. Your passion. Your app has brought me closer to God more than i ever thought possible. Just this time last year I was a lost, sad, depressed, anxious, suicidal ideations, borderline alcoholic. I got married in May and we randomly found a pastor here to marry us. He ended up doing such a good job at our wedding we thought let’s check his church out and give to the church as further payment to him. But I promise since going to Journey Church it has been life changing. Every sermon has spoken to me in a different way each time. Filling my heart and soul each Sunday. One day he spoke about his series he did called the thin red line. Which Calls for men specifically in our church to wear the armor of God. That spoke to me as I felt lost as a man. Just getting married and having been married twice before to women who belittled me and abused me I didn’t have That sense of being a man. Adultery, pain, addiction to porn and nicotine and evil music were what I used to heal myself. But obviously those aren’t things I needed to get better. But the sermon spoke to me and I knew that’s where I wanted to put my energy. But even through that series I stilll felt lost. Felt fake. Like I was a fake Christian. I didn’t know where to begin with getting in word or how to read so I still was faking it. Well later on Pastor James takes about The Crucible Project. He spoke of how his life was before going and what it did to transform him as a man. That was it. I knew I had to go. And man was that weekend eye opening. I finally was able to open up to men about my pain and be honest and intentional. Yo know what it means to live with integrity. To live for Christ. . I was on the right path but still didn’t know where to go with the Bible. But my friend from that weekend sent me the link for your app Since I got in to the journeys on the app I’ve never looked back. Each day on my drive to work I listen to a few chapters. It’s been so great. You’ve really helped me learn about the Bible in a way I never thought possible. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me on my journey to be a better man, Christian and husband. We just found out we’re going to have our first child and since your app and coming to know God I feel I’m in such a good place to meet these challenges. Thank you a million times.

Through the word has helped me so much . I had gotten in a bad habit of just reading my devotions and not spending much time in the Word, my husband who is a Pastor, shared this app with me and I have absolutely loved waking up each morning and studying Gods word ! I’m addicted to learning more about and diving way deep into the Word of God. I’ve been using TTW for years and as introverted as I am, my faith in Jesus Christ and the TTW app are two things I greatly will shout about as long as I have breath in my lungs! Kris & TTW Team, Recently, my wife of 40 years of marriage passed away after a long, two year health battle. Kris And others had been part of my morning quiet time for many years now. I was her primary Caregiver, going to doctors appointments 2 to 3 times per week along with still working full-time. I mention all of this to give perspective, not for any sympathy. I absolutely could not have made it through without consistently being in God’s word every day. I love TTW and how it is designed. Short, well thought out devotion, followed by the word. Journey 2: I just finished the 2nd Journey. I so enjoy how the Bible is discussed and explained chapter by chapter. I read the Bible from front to back over the past 4 years. Reading it in Journeys is so much better. Thank you for providing this. God bless each of you working on this project.

A very dear friend told me about this app told me I need to download it and take the journey it's one you won't forget the pastors are down to earth and they help with your journey, so after a few days I downloaded the app and that's where I met Kris Langham through the word pastor and he has be awesome throughout all my journeys I have been taken with Kris my life isn't what it should be and I'm not right with God like I should be but listing to Kris Langham he literally has brought me closer to God than I have ever been on my own it feels like he actually knows me he explains what scriptures mean and tells me story's about his life and how God has changed him to the man he is today it's funny cause we are literally alike same taste in music and sense of humor even the movies we have in common I have never met a pastor with this kind of ability to shed light into the dark places I have in my life I have never even met him but taken the journeys that he has prepared for all of us is amazing he has pushed me to read my Bible everyday and to open my heart to God so the holy Spirit and God can start my transformation and its glorious i owe to pastor Kris Langham for me helping me each day I start a journey or read the Bible it has changed my life completely around , i am on like my 14th journey through the Bible with kris I actually look forward to reading my Bible that's something I thought i would never say .So to who ever reads this don't pass this opportunity up this is a great learning experience I promise you that you will be glad you did.. One day I will head to California just to attend Pastor Kris Langham church and shake his hand and thank him for caring and showing me I am loved by God no matter what I think of myself.. I have always been told that a blessing always comes after reading Revelations. Revelations was a hard book to understand until I got this app. I am now reading each book one at a time as well as one chapter at a time. Thank you so so much !!!
