I love the book of Romans. It is my favorite book of the Bible. I also love TTW. My first daughter and I went through your study of New Testament in one year in 2023. She lives in MN and I live in NC. We would text each other of what we did. Then we would do a little daily catch up with each other. Since then we do our own personal study (it may be TTW or something else) but still text each other saying what we did etc. We both love TTW 😊. I also tell others about this app.

TTW has open my eyes to what God wants me to understand about Him.. I feel myself wanting a closer relationship with God then I every have in my life..God’s word is a eye opener for a better change in my life..it’s a good feeling to wake excited about what I’m going to learn each day about my God…The sacrifice that Jesus went through for me, truly makes me want to change my life..get rid of all the stinky thinking.and learning how to clean up my mind and heart with love and kindness..this is what I’m getting from TTW..Every time I’m around a friend or someone I just met I will play 1 of the lessons..they ask how did I get it and I let them know my brother in-law Archie Johnson all the way in Germany ..He has bless us with a good word and I will be forever grateful to him..wanting to have a relationship with Christ is the best experience I every had in my life..Thank You TTW Lourenda Thomas 🥰🥰🥰

I began with the You Version app of the Bible discovering the TTW app for explanations. I often bounce back & forth utilizing both apps. After finishing journey 18, I decided to listen to all 19 journeys sequentially & just finished journey #4 fast forwarding a bit toward the close of Leviticus but saw the thread of Christ more clearly. Ordered Chuck Smith’s book on Why Grace Changes Everything & bought 1998 film Les Miserables. Thanks for helping the Spirit to guide my sanctification journey. Wow!

As always, through the word gets me thinking about scripture in ways I have never thought about it. I just finished this book which I've read many times before,and I don't remember before noticing the very last sentence. God cared about the animals. I don't know why but that just stands out to me. So now I'm asking God to show me why that sentence is in there. Thank you so much for keeping me digging.

I just want to say thank you to Pastor Kris and his 5 minute journeys through the Bible. I found them on YouVersion app and am binge-listening/reading the books of the Bible. The book of Revelation was especially helpful to me. You truly make the Bible come alive! I really appreciate the context and insight you provide. Again, you make the Bible come alive! Thank you!?

I have been reading the Bible for more than 50 years but I have never understood. Since following TTW a new wonderful world has opened up for me. For the first time everything makes sense. I’m so grateful to Pastor Kris. You have given direction to my life.

Going through the Book of Acts of the Apostles with Pastor Peyton has been an amazing journey. His exposition of the book has really helped me and it was like I was there in the story myself. Pastor Peyton helped me see the Books of Acts in a way I never have in so many years of my walk with God. God bless the TTW team for making the Bible a reality in our lives.

Journey 1 has strongly reminded me to be more like Jesus. Speaking to people better than they deserve and the building of family relationships touched my heart. Through this knowledge I will seek wisdom through Jesus to be a better husband and father.

I have been use TTW for years now. I first discovered it through the Bible App and completed many Bible plans utilizing it. I downloaded the TTW app and absolutely love it. I spend many many days listening to the app while delivering mail. I am blessed to be able to do that. My understanding of the word, and of the God I serve has grown enormously. Kris, Peyton, and everyone involved in making TTW a reality,..Thank You!!! I can not put into words how much your obedience to God's direction, has effected my life. This specific journey has hit home with what my husband and I are walking through right now. He is in a pastoral internship and we are currently walking through a tough season. Without going into too much detail, the plans for 2Corinthians resonated in me so much. I felt like I was sitting down at a table with Paul as he encouraged us to keep our heads up, trusting and serving God with every step. Thank you again!! I hope one day our paths cross so I can thank you in person. I pray each of you are blessed beyond all understanding!

This plan truly set me before a mirror. I was corrected in how I handle being mistreated or overlooked. I was convinced in seeing my own converting through Haman. Instructed in the righteous shrewdness of Esther and encouraged in my streadfast resolve to see Gods kingdom advance and trust in God to deliver his people even when we don’t see his hand.

Words cannot express the joy of being taught by all the bible teachers at TTW. What a gift from our heavenly Father. There is this overwhelming feeling of satisfaction every time I open the Bible to be taught and fed by His Spirit. Yes “my life matters so are my days since I have a race to run. The way I run it matters and because He has marked out a part for me, I must run it in a way as to win” Thank you all very much.

The 3 day plan on peace has me talking with God more. I usually sleep 4 hours a night because of the stress in my life keeps my brain going a lot. These 3 days have helped me to slow down and be quiet with my Lord and Savior. Thank you.

I’m gonna keep this simple and direct. TTW is the best way for me to stay in communication with God. It’s consistent, straight from the source (The Bible), It’s easy to pay attention to, and most importantly it has Sandy Adams as a teacher!

This is my second time in Romans. The first time, I was like Saul no known as the apostle Paul, before Jesus found him in the road to Damascus. Then I read chapter 3 and realised I too am a sinner. I big one. So I can rightfully say that even though I was baptised in 2022, I found Jesus in the pages of this book last year. And I wept. I wept His feet. It still makes me emotional thinking back. I was self righteous and judgemental only to realise I am a sinner too. And Jesus… oh, Jesus! I fell in love with Jesus. I will never look at person with judgement the way I did before Romans again. And even as I did judge, Jesus who should have, didn’t. Instead He loved me! He saved me by grace. And I will forever be eternally grateful for that. This time in Romans, He just reminded me that I am not alone, through all of my trials. Jesus Christ is Lord! Hallelujah. Praise God!

I am grateful, so very grateful, it’s almost as if the Holy Spirit led me to this app. So glad all of you do this for free for us in the world that need the word every day.

This app is incredible! A nice tutorial that gets you started and makes it is easy to navigate. It has clear and concise modules that truly get you into the Word quickly. Great for personal use or to bring a group together for Bible study. All at no cost and no ads or any pressure to give. You can tell this is put together and supported by true Believers that only want to help you draw closer to God through the Word!

I’ve been in a dark place for awhile after 6 years in Afghanistan I returned home to a place I didn’t recognize dealing with PTSD and a failing marriage I felt that no one understood me. I attempted suicide twice and fell deeper and deeper into a rabbit hole which I felt the only way out was making a third attempt hopefullly the final attempt at taking my own life I reached out for help from a pastor who I thought was a friend and who told me that his church wasn’t to church for me I couldn’t believe what I was hearing I felt completely unworthy and broken I was abandoned by my wife, by my pastor and everyone I asked help from spiritually fell on deaf ears I was crushed and alone with satan in my head telling me unloved and worthless I was I given up on life and yearned for the mental pain to end. Right before making that attempt and crying by myself I cried out to God for help he sent a vision of a man I maybe spoke to only a few times to me having his number in my phone somewhere I called and he called me back within minutes and set up a sit down but told me of Gods love and how precious I was to him. That was a year ago since then TTW is a major part of my daily reading and devotional. I still deal with PTSD but suicide is the furthest thing from my mind. Thank you TTW for being apart of my recovery

It was exciting to see how the Holy Spirit guided Paul and help. Paul trusted the Lord and trusted the Lord when they saw Paul’s faith.

TTW has given me a structure for study and a platform for worship and prayer. I have referred this wonderful site to several others and pray for their assurance in the Lord. I praise the Lord and uplift this work for his glory and the blessings of men. Thank you!

I absolutely love this plan. I’ve been studying the Bible for almost 60 years and these plans bring Gods word to light. The knowledge of history, connection, culture, timing, and bringing all of Gods word together is a true blessing. These helps have contributed to bring my relationship to God to a whole other level. I’ve been able to share studies with my grown daughter who lives across the country as well as with my 12 year old granddaughter who lives next door. It’s a blessing to hear my granddaughters voice excited and listening to Gods word daily. God is definitely blessing every one involved with this project.

Time and lack of vocabulary prevent me from sharing my entire experience with TTW, Sandy Adams, and most importantly, God’s Word through Jeremiah. The teaching in Jeremiah has continued to bring clarity to me in reference to prophecy, God’s design, and God’s grace and mercy. I will never think of Jeremiah the same.

Pastor Heitzig is a wonderful bible teaching pastor. He explained Lamentations in a fresh way that was edifying to me. The folks at Calvary in Albuquerque are fortunate to have him.

TTW has helped me to understand the connections between the Old and New Testaments. Although I’ve been a Christian for many years , I didn’t see how Jesus had anything to do with the Old Testament. Seeing those connections , understanding the beauty of the Old has given me such peace and joy!

I am thoroughly enjoying my Journeys with Kris Langham, he makes learning the Bible fun, interesting and educational all at the same time! I actually look forward to hearing his teachings and will donate as much as I can as I have a LOT of responsibilities and am supporting my Grandchildren and Son at this time until he gets back on his feet. Since I am retired and live on a fixed income, extra money is hard to come by. But I KNOW my Lord will help me to find a way to help even if it's not as much as I would like to donate! The Fight of your Life helped me through a very tough time. My mom being very sick, in & out of the hospital at death's door at least once; & the church my husband & I pastor being divided & run by a controlling evil spirit. This plan helped me keep sight of God's goodness, faithfulness & sovereignty. Thank you for following the leading of the Lord. Your app is a lifesaver

This has been the best bible plan/app to read the Bible. There have been some books in the Bible that often stump me, but with through the word, it became so much easier to understand and even when you go back over chapters or books you've read before, you start to see and understand better. God Bless Kris Langham and every teacher that took the time out to create this app because it's the beat thing since sliced bread.

I came across Through the Word a couple of years ago (2021)on The Bible app. I was doing a plan on the Book of Matthew and Pastor Kris and Pastor Jonathan was doing the study together, I absolutely loved ❤️❤️❤️it!!! I gleaned from that planned and God revealed and pursued me so much, even in my weakest moments. Because I came to understand that He remains with His children—always. He will never leave me. My failures, weaknesses, and neediness do not drive Him away, but rather draw Him near. Jesus promises that the evil in this world would go from bad to worse before He returns. In spite of this, as a believer I have ( and the understanding of TTW helped me ) undaunted hope because of Christ’s victory on my behalf. The risen Christ has empowered me as a believer to reach the world with the good news of salvation and TTW will also , Amen. Our Savior conquered death and claimed the victory that no one can take from us! We serve a risen Savior, Hallelujah!!! Matthew 28:20b “and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Thank you Pastor Kris, and THOUGH THE WORD family for all that you and how you help others understand God’s Word. I really enjoy the new reading voice that you have for the Bible. He brings it alive!!! God is doing a mighty work in your life and ministry!

I know I need to ask Holy Spirit for His help, because all of this takes two people honoring the other- I am on my own pursuing the Lord and growing in Christ. It will be hard, but nothing is impossible with God.

I use through the word as part of my testimony of faith. I tell people how it explains in detail the stories of the Bible. It makes reading the Bible understandable for the common folk. It is so pleasurable to read every morning. I will soon be giving my testimony at my church (Central Christian in Las Vegas). I plan to give a thumbs up to your online ministry because it gives me total insight on the Bible. Thank you all for the heartfelt words of explaining the best book in the world. Praise the Lord!

I do my daily Bible early morning in YouVersion. I listen to TTW at night. On nights that I cannot sleep I just turn on TTW and just lay back and listen. There are also time I let YouVersion read to me at night. It keeps the demons away.

I am so grateful to have found this amazing app. I started reading the Bible in February of this year and I was struggling to understand God’s word. TTW has helped me to not only understand, but also how to live in God’s word. I’m just getting started and I’m excited to learn more. Thank you!

I love this App and tell all of my friends about it. I had never been able to get through the book of Revelations and understand it in the past. Pastor Kris explained it so well and I enjoyed reading this entire book for the first time and understanding it with the help of Pastor Kris and Holy Spirit.

I love this app! It’s a mainstay of my daily devotional life. This spiritual rhythm will be life changing and over time, I have gained more and more understanding of scripture which has grown my relationship with Jesus!

TTW has great teachers that make understanding the Bible easy. They encourage you to do your own discovery of God’s word, while giving context into each chapter of the Bible. This app is great! I like that I can set it to read the scripture verse first, then listen to the teaching and the. Hear the verse again. It really helps the word sink in!

I just finished journey 3 and my knowledge and understanding of Gods word is growing daily. This is all attributed to Pastor Chris and your team. TTW is saving my life. At 56, my ego, hubris, addictions have left me endeadened and dis-eased. Thank you for the opportunity to practice TTW daily and forge a new direction toward normalcy - literally back to being a human being - through His Grace.

We did Acts as a family and then go through the study notes and it has really brought us together closer as a family and has kept us in God's word!!

Wow, this plan has basically shown me that we live to help others. We are not to judge or ridicule, but to support and love no matter the situation. It has shown me that we are not here for ourselves but for each other and together we can do better and Gods will, will be done.

TTW has opened the Bible app for better understanding and explanation. The history of who when what where the context of the time period has been really good and so enjoyable. I have shared TTW with family and friends through conversation and excitement of the things that I have learned And I'm only on my first journey. I am looking forward to the next journeys.

My Bible study and prayer partner, and I had just begun reading Job When he unexpectedly went to the hospital and never came home. Oh how I wanted Stop that study. I read it before so I knew what was coming. However, I knew that’s where we were supposed to go, so I continue and finished it even after his death. I have never been so glad to find the next book that we were going to read with Psalms. Reading the BOOK OF PSALMS actually got me through my Senior year of high school. Now I was certainly ready for something uplifting again! I just finished the study on Psalms III.

It was my first time to study the book of Mathew. It was refreshing and inspiring. Am so grateful that I found the TTW app. God bless you for providing me with a means to not only read my bible but also to study it.

My understanding of the Tabernacle is sooo much better now and the significance to us as believers. Wow!! When I worship in church I see our Lord through the Tabernacle and how much God wants to show his love to us through Jesus Christ.

Through the Word has made me love reading my Bible. To be honestly, I always avoided reading the Old Testament because I didn’t understand how it was applicable to Christian’s as much as the New Testament…oh boy was I wrong! I just finished Journey 5. However, I’ve been listening and studying with through the word since its early beginning. I have shared it with my wife, my children, and many Christian brothers and sisters. What a life changer! In Journey 5 - Numbers 30, I received greater clarity (the best actually) on my responsibility of keeping my word and leading/loving my wife. And the illustration of both the husband and wife holding in one hand their prior single life and and the other hand holding the hand of their spouse - choosing one over the other to grow their marriage or lose their marriage, was so good! My favorite teaching, however, was my first in through the word. The book of Revelation! Such great teaching! I’ve listened to it four times. The most recent was in our Neighborhood Group that I facilitate. Everyone loved it! And many now listen to through the word because of it. Pastor Kris Langham brings greater clarity to such a challenging book. Thank you Kris and Tina, and all those who contribute and give. May God shower you all with great blessings!

Hebrews 12…”all the loose stuff falls off first.”  I had been feeling like I was losing - or losing my grip on - so many things: relationships, confidence, hope, vision, stamina, health, and the list goes on. This lesson helped me put that in perspective. I was thinking about the "the loose things fall first" and realized that some loose things fall are because they are not things that should be part of my life; BUT some good things might fall because they are not securely anchored to the foundation as they should be.  I love Through the Word! A friend introduced me to it, and proposed that we go through it together. However, I started binge listening, and we couldn’t stay in sync! I particularly appreciate the lessons that illuminate scripture, rather than mostly repeat it back in paraphrase. I’ve started contributing monthly to Through the Word - proof of my appreciation for your work and blessing It has been in my life!

It's absolutely incredible jow listening to the bible has helped me understand my life and how it fits in with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I try my very best not to say anything horrible about another person and have learnt that there is only one judge and he is not of this world.

This teaching has been such a blessing. It makes it so easy to understand the Bible. This book was so impactful because I could see the same things happening in the Church in America today.....people are chasing after lots of different things in under the auspices of Christianity....but many are an affront to God. I pray that believers stoke the fire daily and remain rooted in their live for Jesus!

Hi, I have been on a Christian journey for about 3 years and it has been a good one, I read the bible occasionally but listen and read the Your version bible app almost everyday. I came across the TTW James devotional on You version and wow! I love the format, love the explanation and really got me more excited about reading the bible. I learned of platform from the YouVersion devotional and decided to follow the plan and I was really excited and eager after listening on the very first day. I had to restrain myself from listening to it all on the first day. Keep doing what you do best and may God continually grant you the understanding.
