TTW has helped me stay on track with my daily bible study and it has given me the opportunity to learn and grow in my spiritual journey. I love it and I tell everyone I know about it.

A friend from church heard me talk about my confusion when reading the Bible. She told me about this app. It’s been a great resource to me. No judgement just an opportunity to learn more about God’s word. I skipped Journey 1 and went to Journey 2. Just finished it. I started Journey 2 on 8/18/24 and have finished it today 9/16/24.

I love the app!! It has become a vital part of my quiet time. The plan is constantly showing something new. Especially how the books relate to each other. I knew that slightly but never to the depth I'm learning. I tell people about it but to my knowledge no one has started a plan. I thank you for such a great gift.

TTW is helping me during a very hard time for me. I have been sick for 8 months. I decide I wanted to use the time I am spending staying at home knowing Jesus more than before. I want to fall n a passionate love for him. I wanted to spend more time in His Word and create habits of reading and listening it. Thank God I found TTW. I downloaded the app and decided to start the journey plan. It’s being a blessing to me because it is doable and allow me to read the Bible one chapter a day. It also provides a discussion that enriches my understanding.

So loved this journey. Each day encourages me and keeps me connected with my first love during a time of illness which affects my ability to read and as I'm non verbal j It's hard to participate in group discussions. Thank you.

Reading and listening to the Bible feeds my soul. It strengthens me every morning. It helps me start my day focused on God.

It touches me when I read how Jesus is far less strict and so generous in forgiveness. He should be judging everyone, instead every time it is the people judging each other and Jesus reaching out with forgiveness, grace and love. I can only pray that Jesus will change my heart into His heart so I and we as the church can be more like Him.

I’m so thankful for the power of the Holy Spirit and how He was speaking as I was doing this plan. As a therapist, this plan provided many opportunities for me to be spoken to as well as my patients. This grew me in my relationship with God, intimately knowing and experiencing Him, as well as the lives of the people I have the privilege of journeying with. One short example, as I was reading Psalms 71 I heard the Holy Spirit say, pay attention to verses 20 & 21. A then patient was then brought to mind. I shared those verses with her and it was exactly what she needed to hear at that very moment as she was in the middle of a trauma trigger related to her eyes. I’m so thankful for your ministry. Thank you!

Stumbled onto TTW over two years ago. Pastor Kris has sparked new interest in how I interpreted the Bible! His down to earth explanation of the scriptures keeps me coming back for more. His take on a particular chapter sometimes has me peeking at the next one to see what’s coming tomorrow. I’m hooked!

I discovered, or should I say, the Lord led me to TTW, a little more than a month ago. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to pastor Chris and all who were involved in creating this Bible study guide. I’ve already shared it with no less then thirty fellow believers. The audible commentary has given me an excitement and opened my eyes to things I never saw in Gods word. I just finished the book of Revelation and I’m looking so forward to going to meeting Pastor Langham, by the tree of life at two o’clock, to give him a hearty Christian hug and thanking him for taking up this endeavor of bringing Gods word to life for me.

I have been using this app for years and it gets better as time goes on. The commentaries are short and to the point, so there is no excuse concerning time. The narrators are great and do a good job of explaining each chapter. Highly recommend to anyone who needs help understanding the Bible.

Been a great study, seeing Jesus through the psalms and living through the experiences of David. I have had several "SELAH" moments

The insight of the pastor on the Book of Job is amazing! It truly helped me have a different view and perspective on my own trials.

this app changed the way i read the bible. i feel so much closer to God. it's been about 2 or 3 weeks since i've started, and i'm about to finish genesis. such thorough, wise, and well spoken guides. all i want to do is support this app

I’m currently rereading the book of Genesis. In chapter 5 it lists genealogy. All but Enoch lived a given amount of time and then died. Enoch walked faithfully with God and after 365 years God “took” him. Would this be considered a rapture? If so, it would certainly give credence to the debate of the Bible scholars in their discussion of the rapture. In any event it has strengthened my belief in the rapture. Thanks for all you folks are doing.

I love connecting to the lord and this app has helped me and i really love the audiobook so i cam listen to it in the car or with my AirPods Pro as well.

Thank you to all involved in this project. Everyone! I heard about TTW from an acquaintance and have loved it ever since. I love the honesty shared by the commentators. The stories and references shared connect the Bible to the world in which we live. They show me how when my heart is fixed on God I am able to see His work and His hand reflected in the work of others. As I grow in the Word thanks to TTW I am also able to recognize, to discern that which is meant to deceive. All the stories and commentary make accessing the Bible real, relevant, and interesting. This is an awesome plan. Listening to the Bible helps me further my walk with Jesus. It helps me understand the teachings so that I can put the knowledge gained into perspective, and apply the teachings to my daily walk. It helps me to remember to season everything with salt, speak kindly, show love and be patient with others. Thank you for this. I am learning everyday to be mindful of what I say, the language I use, the thoughts I have and those entertain. But most importantly, I have learnt to let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me.

I just grew closer to God, doing unimaginable things in my life. Even though I may be in a little rut. And I know that I have been behaving like a sinner in my life. I confess my sins daily, I give thanks throughout the day, and doing all I can for the Church and the poor. And it feels good.

Going through the book famous all through the word. I decided to dig in to some of these not so minor prophets. Amos has taught me to be bolder. Bolder in my faith, bolder in my prayers, bolder in my actions as a Christian. Amos had nothing to lose and neither do I. I have everything to gain in Christ. And to be prepared for that day when I face my creator.

I was baptized on Aug 25th 2024. I praise my Savior , my Great d, my King. It is by His gentle hands I’ve been guided, to his word & way. May I bless other to know, we are loved, He waits patiently…Amen

I have loved TTW. I listen to it while I work out. I have completed the entire Bible and then the New Testament again. I’m 74 and strong healthy thank you Jesus.

I just finished the New Testament in a year. Not only have I developed a habit of being in the word everyday but the Insight from the teachers have let me understand more than I have learned in the years that I have walked this Earth.

This is the first app that I have totally enjoyed listening and learning about God‘s word. I find value in the briefing and commentary before the scripture is read. Thank you for doing this. God bless you.

I am new to TTW and am enjoying my mornings listening to the Word. This app keeps me focused on Jesus and is a wonderful way to start my day. I am a morning person and my “quiet time” with Our Lord is essential to each and every day.

TTW has helped me to understand God’s words better especially how the narrator explains the scriptures which comes alive to me. The book of Psalms have touched my life because David was not a very good person but he was a man of God’s own heart. He learnt how to ask for forgiveness whenever he knew he did something that was not Godly. He also knew that no matter what God would come through for him and delivered him from his enemies. David worship God in good and bad times and his love for God did not change. He was not afraid to pour out his heart to God. I like David because I am reminded that even if I sin God will forgive me if I confess my sins and that God still loves and would never forsake me. All God wants from me his worship, clean heart, being forgiving and that I should come to him at all times so that he can direct my path. I have learnt that it is better to trust in God who is my creator and friend. I share TTW with my friends through Whatsapp.

Our church has a reading challenge each month and we are reading through Psalms from Aug-Oct. I have loved the teaching and reading from TTW. I have learned so much from David's life in the Psalms and how close and intimate he was with God, inspire of his flaws and failures. Also, learning how prophetic the Psalms are has been amazing! I found TTW through YouVersion Bible app. After 7 years of listening daily to various apps on YouVision, I came upon a few TTW plans. I introduced the plans to my husband and we both now have downloaded the app. We enjoy learning while listening to Kris Langham. *A suggestion for the app would be a search button. If there is one, I have yet to find it. We started revelations plan in YouVision and I wanted to continue reading in the TTW app and cannot find the Revelations segments. It’s not a problem though, I’ll just go between both apps. TTW app resonates with us through their plans in a new light and we Thank God for people like Kris sharing the word and being dedicated to teaching.

No ad.very easy user-friendly app. It also have audio. One can be sure of feeding my spiritual life daily with this less stress free bible. Not bothered with many adverts and interruptions while listening to the audio. Thank you for this and pray that there won't be an advert in the future. Thank you, Jesus .

This has touched my life showing me we are nothing without God. He is the only true and living God. Going through Job and listening to Job and the ones condemning him. Job had not sinned but yet he was suffering, but I have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and yet he will forgive me every time if I just ask for forgiveness, even though I do not deserve it. This is grace . Thanks You Lord for showing me your loving grace and mercy. Please forgive me where I have fallen short and sinned against you. I Love you Lord.

This plan was amazing. Melanie Hurlbut is amazing teacher. She holds your attention and makes it relatable to your life. These palms dealt with hesrt issues of turnu g to God to stand against our enemy. They show God is always present and ready to help. He can handle our crying out and understands our weakness. He knows the future and uses David to prophesy about His precious son.

TTW is a great tool to reach a better, deeper understanding of the word of God. Very clear, absolutely concise, and 'in your face' in the right way.

Book I of the Psalms has been an absolute delight! I loved the insights that added color and context to the highs and lows of King David’s experience, making the journey through this wonderful BOOK so relatable and understandable. Thank you Thru The Word.

It has been a useful way to enjoy my journey reading through the entire Bible. By following the leadership plan, I have been introduced to Biblical characters and events that I never knew about it. Good morning I am so glad I came across through the word app. I get up at 4:30 in the morning so that I can spend time . I came back to god last year. A good friend told me about the bible app . I bought myself my first bible . I was so excited . I have a hard time memorizing Scripture so I write verses down on index cards and take them with me to work. I found a devotion that I use in the morning as well called I heard his whisper. So bible EarPods Phone and through the word Notebook highlighter . I want to thank you Chris for explaining the bible so well. I am now able to understand what I am reading May the lord bless all of in ministry that you are doing Thank you

I use TTW every day, sometimes several times a day I just finished Colossians and I feel more in love with Jesus than ever before. And I sense his love for me more than ever before. I share some of the highlights I take with my online Bible study group. Thank you, Jesus for TTW.

TTW has help me get closer to God’ purpose in my life. TTW, I have done many plans and each one help me a different season in my life. By investing my friend we share in God’s journey together.

Before I discovered Through The Word, my daily devotional consisted of reading just one verse a day, and then depending on which devotional book I used, this was normally followed by a short passage by the author on how to incorporate that verse into daily life. Although that is good, I was only looking for verses to edify myself and help me get through the day. After discovering Through The Word, it helped me develop a hunger for really studying God's Word every day: chapter by chapter. It helped me to really want to read every verse in every chapter and to understand God's Word fully and to make it part of my being. My devotional time daily changed from quickly reading a nice verse only for the sake of myself, to really studying God's Word from cover to cover and getting to know Jesus because it's all about Him!

To be able to study and share the Word of God with family and friends on a platform like TTW is very exiting. We can all Grow up together before we Go up together using this study tool. Many thanks to what I call The Best Big Brother in the Whole Wide World (Archie) for introducing this plan to our family and friends. Pastor Kris's teachings are insightful and comedic at times but are always in line with the Word of God. Many Thanks for TTW

This specific plan of Psalms has been helping me as I grieve the loss of my best friend, Bible Study and prayer partner. I share almost daily through Facebook and messenger the nuggets of wisdom I received that day.

I loved learning more about faith and how it relates to trusting God. Kris Langham’s introductions to the sessions were so interesting. He is a gifted speaker. His understanding of God’s Word along with his ability to clarify it for the listener were very enlightening.

I just started the “journeys” this past Monday and today on Friday I have completed the first one. I just want to say it is so wonderful and I have learned so much. Although I have read the Bible through a few times, I have not understood some of it. Lately I have began to see how the Old and the New Testament are related throughout and I found that so eye opening. It was like a “whole new world” for me. I was so grateful to God when I found TTW in the Bible app, I shared it with my sister and her husband. She is always saying how she wishes she understood it better. We share the Daily’s from the Bible app and talk about it, but this is so much more helpful for anyone and for me it speaks to the way I respond to being taught. Kris Langham is a good teacher. I am so grateful to God for being with me and helping me understand His character. Jesus is my constant companion and the Holy Spirit has saved me from many things and worked on my mind and my heart as well as my snappy comebacks. They have been way less snappy and more and more gracious. I appreciate this ministry and I am so grateful to God for the work you all have and continue to do. Such a blessing. Be blessed.

Finding Through The Word via The Bible App, has been such a blessing. I have been seeking a good Bible study for awhile, and I was immediately drawn into Kris's voice, his ability to teach the Word, and in demonstrating how applicable the gospel is to life today, without judgement or hidden agenda.

Through some counseling, my wife and I were given the assignment to read through Romans, chapter by chapter, and write down what did every verse (or few verses) said and what it meant to each one of us. We both loved the exercise as it brought Scripture to a much greater personal level. We agreed to do this with every book in the Bible. Through the YouVersion Bible app, we discovered the TTW app. It has turned out to be perfect for this endeavor. We started with the book of Romans and are continuing with Matthew. Thank you for how TTW teachers show gospel truth throughout the Bible. I have just finished Journey no.4 - Law and grace and have been blessed and enriched throughout OT and NT studies. I pray that I may live out the gospel with God’s help.

Some time back I was doing my daily devotional in a New Testament book. Kris was teaching the book . He mentioned that his son was in Bible School and that his son loved one of his Old Testament teachers — It was through this testimony that after finishing that New Testament book I went to go listen to the lady that Kris’s son had in Bible School. She opened my eyes for the rich history of God’s people , the Israelites- the Jews , and I have been on this Old Testament journey since . I have been going through the Old Testament in an odd way — backwards from the minor prophets - since that is what Kris’s son Bible teacher taught , forwards . I just finished up 1 Chronicles with Peyton and he brought this book alive — such a good teacher , as all of you are . Thank you so much for this gift of Through the Word!

I love this app because I love the word. I love the speaker Kris because he motivates me to continue to listen to learn more about the word.

Absolutely love this app and how it has helped me become more faithful in being in the Word on a regular basis. I love the audio narration and the teaching has helped me understand things in a new way. I can do it easily even with a busy household with kids at home since I can listen while I'm doing routine chores. I can't wait to keep going!

TTW is one of the most powerful tools in my Bible experience. I share about it in my book, Experiencing the Bible, and talk about it in my blog as well as my Facebook group. In short, I tell everyone who will listen that this is one app they definitely need. The Leviticus study, which I just completed, has revolutionized my thought processes all over again, turning a book I already greatly appreciated into what may well be my favorite book in the whole Bible, so much so that I’m seriously considering writing a new book focusing on Leviticus. I never would have dreamed this would happen, and it probably wouldn’t have without TTW and a teacher who dared to say that Leviticus is his favorite book. He challenged me, and I am grateful.
