My husband and I absolutely love this app. We have been listening for about four years now and this is how we start our day. One thing I would love to see or hear is in the very beginning of each book where you do the introduction give information on who wrote it when the reasoning behind it the same type of information you find in the written Bible in the introduction if that makes sense. Right now we go to the written Bible first and read that introduction and then start the new book because the way it’s currently done you listen to chapter 1 twice but I would highly recommend this app to anyone your new believer or you’ve been a believer your whole life all of the teachers are amazing.

I've never actually genuinely rated an app. This is my first one. I think the app is great and love how I get to hear someone walk me through a bible chapter explaining everything. Keep doing the Lord's work ❤️

You can read and/or listen to explanation and then eead/listen to the bible chapter. It helps to form your own understanding with the bible and makes you search about God's intent for His word. I recommend this app.

I found it very difficult to read the Bible before and always started and stopped. I am a so grateful to have found this app. I am excited by the Word and the guidance from the pastors is awesome. I now read the Bible everyday (mostly) and it keeps me wanting to read and learn more. Side note I couldn’t update the app due to owing Apple so I found the podcast and read the YouVersion Bible so I wouldn’t miss out. I finally updated the app and I start my work day with the app and Bible on my commute to work on the bus. It’s a great way to start my day. I now am excited to hear the Word and stay in it. Thank you!

TTW has helped me be faithful to staying in God's Word every day. I love seeing how the Old testament points to Jesus. My son and I do this together. We encourage one another through this study.

Traveling this journey with a group of wonderful friends was amazing. We all discovered and shared the treasures pulled from scripture. Hearing each other’s voices each day was an added blessing. This will ABA!!!!

I have just finished numbers and really enjoyed it and wanted to say thanks for sharing the word. I used to skim chapters like these but I've really learned so much and the way you explain things Kris is just what my brain needed. So easy to follow and understand. It touched me enough that I donated! Thanks again

I did one program, and I thought I didn't like the format (repeating chapters for a couple of days). Now that I'm on my third program (Journey 1). I've come to appreciate the repetitive nature. It helps things stick.

In all my experience with YouTube ads popping up, I’m most grateful for the TTW ad that showed up at just the right time, which led me to download the app. I’ve always wanted an audio Bible app that also offers in-depth study breakdowns, but everything I found before was full of ads and locked behind premium plans. While I understand they need a way to stay in business, I’m grateful that TTW is free, with an option to donate out of free will. I’m only a day into using the app, and I love it.

This journey has helped me think about, and start putting into practice treating others with grace. I am afforded that grace from Jesus. I want to start being an image of Christ. I want to know Him better and be a reflection of His loving kindness. He is awesome!

For now, my review stays at this 5 star for the brilliant idea of curating a readable format of the Bible at just 15mins/day. Thank you🙏🏽. I've always struggled at doing this better but I'm good at devoting 10-15mins to do sth per day. By the way, a DAILY STREAK system would be really really nice imo. It'll help to keep the spirit up everyday and in time, one becomes more motivated to read the Bible. God bless!

Love it. It's a great tool for learning and getting more insight. Even makes those boring genealogy chapters interesting. Love how it ties old and new testaments together, showing us Jesus in the Old Testament.

This app brings the Bible to life like nothing else I've ever found. Kris Langham and the other pastors are phenomenal Bible scholars who speak truth about every book by chapter and verse, through what they call Journeys. Check it out because you won't be disappointed.

Praise be to God! I have been able to handle a chapter everyday making it possible to start my day with God. Listening to God speaking to me through the bible early daily has helped shaped how I handley work colleagues and students - with love and tolerance. Hebrews has reaffirmed to me that ONLY Christ is worth listening to. Him alone identifies with my situation and is worth believing in. The place of christian community has been made so clear that it shouldn't be forsaken. I have shared TTW with my fiance and a couple of friends I'm discipling. Thanks for this noble Gospel work.

I just listened to Pastor Kris's teaching on 2 Corinthians 11, and I am so thankful he persevered through so much hardship and even the foreclosure of his home, and yet he continued to record teachings and to build this amazing ministry. I listen to the commentary every morning after I read two different chapters of the Bible. This practice has added depth to my knowledge and understanding of God's word. I appreciate Through the Word more than I can say and all the pastors who contribute to it.

The best way to study and understand the Bible. The way the Pastors explained the passages, you can share your study and comment. My husband and I are really enjoying this app.

TTW has helped me to better understand what I read. The teaching shows interpretation, in context and other meaning not just the obvious. With this you pray for a better relationship with Jesus and a life that is lived for him. Being a Christian because you love Jesus and not just a going to church Christian.

To see the lives of my loved ones be unraveled because of the truth that Gods word speaks to us individually just amazes me. God is so good and he is so faithful.

Absolutely love it. I want more. Keep up the good work of spreading the word Kris and we will meet under the tree of life, first Thursday at 2:00. I am going for a swim in the river of life shortly there after and going to nibble on the fruit from the tree of life afterwards. Love to you all. Nancy

Taking one chapter at a time has allowed me to focus on the material. Hearing Kris discuss the chapter before reading gives depth to the word. I really like the ABA rule, I am always telling my grandchildren to remember to be awesome.

The book of Daniel revealed to me the fact that while it is great to be aware of the events of the end of time, the most important aspect is to serve God consistently wherever God has placed you. Daniel served God faithfully. He also served his employers faithfully. Thank you for helping me better grasp what serving God is all about. God bless your ministry.

I love this app. It helps so much in understanding Gods word. I sent it to others but don’t know if they read it. I know it would help them also. Mostly it has touched me in Revaluations. I used to be afraid to read that book but now I have read it a few times and I’m not afraid. It is very helpful how TTW explains all of the Bible. If I had this understanding of Gods word at a younger age I would have done something’s differently.

I love the insights that you share with us. There are many things that I have never thought of before. My husband and I have spent many years as missionaries so I really appreciate your thoughts on Romans 16. We have met and worked with many amazing people along the way and I am so thankful for each of them. God bless you and thank you!

I really enjoy Sandy Adams’ teaching on Psalms. My sister and I are in Journey 10 and since the Psalms III were updated mid-journey, we went back to Sandy Adams teaching and finished it here in this section. Still loving the “Together” audio recording option!

I am so glad to have the opportunity to hear this ministry. It’s feels like you did eat the whole roll. I enjoy hearing the Word being made simple that it invites one to listen. When I am at a passage I don’t understand I come to TTW to add more clarity. Thank you for being.

So TTW as a whole has helped me so much to grow in my faith and in my understanding of the word. But more specifically I want to say thank you for the book of Esther walk through. This walk through has helped me to prepare myself for a journey to Washington DC with the million women from her voice movement. We are going October 12th to fast pray and stand for our nation to turn back to God! So thank you to Kris and the whole team for what you are doing. You are impacting so many lives more than you will ever know! God bless you and this ministry.

I’ve been a Christ follower for several decades and have used many different kinds of Bible studies and devotionals. But TTW has been like a breath of fresh air spiritually! I really enjoy how the narrators break down the key points in the text, do deep dives but also keep things moving in a way that engages me and my mind & spirit on a different level. I truly look forward each day to spending time in the word and hearing the commentary provided by TTW. I’m just wrapping up Genesis and can’t wait to get started on Exodus! I shared the app with my sister who has been struggling with consistency in her quiet times, and she’s “hooked” on it now:) THANK YOU to Kris Langham and the team for all of the hard work of putting this tool together!! It is a TREMENDOUS BLESSING!!

Three years ago I stepped up as the spiritual leader of my family and started having a morning Bible study and prayer time with my wife. A friend recommended TTW and we started using the APP. It has been a huge blessing! Further, I started using TTW as a Bible study tool for my Men’s Life Group. We meet almost every Saturday morning at my home for breakfast, to study God’s word and prayer. TTW has played a significant role during our time together. Thank you for this ministry!

This app is good for my ADHD, I would like to see the words highlighted and the page scroll ( this helps me to continue to pay attention and focus on the words being said). I did see some reviews that said they didn’t like certain instructors. To that I say pray, I will also pray for you. I too was like that and did not like to listen to Payton Jones, after I prayed; becuase I knew the enemy was trying to stop me from my blessing; he became my favorite instructor he helped me to fall in love with Leviticus, I get excited when I see his name is on a lesson. Also if someone ( I can’t remember the instructors name ) is instructing and it sounds like they are talking to a kid that is a good thing as kids do listen to this. Lastly, please don’t take any of this as hate I love you all and pray that you all get your blessings that God has for you! Happy Listening !

Through the word is my go to for Bible studies in plans and guidance. I have shared the app with many and hope they have stuck with you because I feel it’s the best Bible leading and teaching app. Thank you for all that you do. I especially liked revelation, it went along with the study that my Small group did which actually took us 10 months to complete the book we were using was written by Amir Tsfari and we did a two week group meeting on each chapter and it was amazing. Thank you again.

Thanks and God bless all involved in TTW. Our ladies church class is studying the book of Hebrew. I have questions and in the need of better understanding because of my comprehension issues but this Bible app is awesome. I can stop and start again to get better understanding. God knew I needed this help and He sent TTW.

I listen to these Bible studies every day. I learn so much through them in only 10 to 15 minutes before I start my day. So grateful that they have every book of the Bible and so much more. Thank you, TTW for helping me in my journey of Faith!

Most of my life I have struggled with my identity. Rough childhood and abusive father made me think I was worthless. So I lived up to that. Recently God has begun to change my life and someone said to read Ephesians with Through the Word app. Ephesians is about our identity in our Heavenly Father they said. So I took this journey. I still struggle with believing that I am a child of God but I see glimpses of it every day now thanks to Pastor Kris and the team. Thank you

I love TTW. It has enhanced my understanding of God's Word and encouraged me to be in His Word daily. I have learned that Emeryville God says is true. He can fully be trusted. He is for us and His promises are for all those who belong to Him.

Starting my day with the Word is a blessing, the way each of the teachers explain the word helps you understand the word better and helps me in my life.

I love this app, makes reading the Bible so much easier when there is someone reading along side and explaining. Keep up the terrific planning and presentation, you are drawing more and more people to GOD. I share this App with friends and family. Not all look at it but maybe someday they will see that life could be better and take a read, here's preparing for them all. LORD please draw all those who think they can do life without you and let them know they can't. AMEN

I listen to Thru the Word every morning and am so thankful I found this app.

This is really the best bible teaching I’ve experienced in an app. Kris really explains the deeper connections, showing the story of Jesus throughout the entire bible, in such a simple and engaging way. It’s opened my eyes about passages I’ve read many times before but never thought about how it’s all Jesus’ story. Even the parts that are less obvious. Really learning a ton.

This is a fabulous app! I was told about it February 2023 .. I use it every day .. I have done several books … I was spurred on to write a quick review because a person didn’t like Melanie or the references to Star Wars … I LOVE IT ALL !!? Stop nothing! Melanie is excellent! Every teacher is great … Thank you so much Maureen 9/10/2924
