I'm thankful for Through the Word because it serves as a tool for me to stay focused on the Word of God. I appreciate the format because it gives me a set direction for Bible study and meditation. I am also grateful for the insight, information and knowledge of the Bible instructors. Thank you so much and God bless you.

I had difficulty understanding 1 Timothy 2 especially from verse 11 because of how controversial it was. I even skipped that part when studying the Bible. Bust with your carful explanation and guidance I now have a clear picture to this passage and my notions have changed. I now know that when studying a scripture that seems controversial you need to know the content, context of the passage and also make cross reference with other passages to have a better understanding to avoid any form of false doctrine.This app is indeed a blessing to me because as I carefully follow it the way I study the bible is totally different. Thank you so much and God bless.

This app has gotten me through some hard times. The worst being the loss of my husband. I cannot begin to express my gratitude. Sincerely. I do have one request though. If it is possible, could you make the verse numbers a bit darker? The light orange against the white background is difficult to see. At least for me. Keep up the good work! I’m sure I am not the only one you have helped through hard times by taking us step by step ‘Through the Word’.

This App is where it all began for me about 3 years ago I was interested in getting to know the Bible and Jesus on a deeper level but wasn’t sure where to start. I’m so grateful the spirit lead me to experience this app. It not only walks with you through the Bible step by step but the pastors explain it in a way for you to understand in today’s terms. I love the examples and the openness from the pastors as well!!! Praise be to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior !!!!

I have never really understood Psalms. I didn't know until recently they were actually songs. I thought they were poetry, which in a way they are. I have enjoyed understanding them and the trials and tribulations of David and how God stayed with him no matter what. Even when he was having the worst of times he did not lose faith. And it made my face stronger. Amen

I discovered TTW through a plan in YouVersion about 6 years ago. I LOVE the Journeys, which I listen to daily. I’m on Journey 19. I’m also a pastor’s wife, so I often recommend TTW as we disciple people. Well, yesterday, God spoke directly to me and ministered so deeply to my broken heart through TTW that I just wanted you to know about it. Having just celebrated some real breakthroughs and victories in our congregation, the enemy attacked us via some Facebook posts. So yesterday morning my prayer before listening to Nehemiah 6 was a very heartfelt, “God, I need to hear specifically from you today. I really need you. “ Even as I prayed it, my mind rebuffed the prayer, knowing that the Bible won’t say anything about Facebook. But Kris Langham explained that an “open letter” in the hands of a courier was equivalent to a Facebook post! His wise counsel and teaching on Nehemiah 6 was the voice of God to me. A very personal word of encouragement in my time of need. I cannot effectively express my gratitude for your ministry, but thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This isn't my first time through The Bible, but I love the way you explain each chapter and the order in which you present it. I use my old study Bible from 1975 that has lots of notes, highlighting, and underscores, but it's always interesting that what strikes me about specific verses varies from year to year, decade to decade. My main purpose in using this app is to gleen from the word how to reach a non-believer who is very important to me.

The teachings help to bring the Psalms written in the past to intersect with those of us who live our lives hundreds and thousands of years in the the future. There is only one God. And He is not bound by time.

A very nice one, this app really helps me in studying and Understanding the BIBLE more I really recommend this app to everyone 😊

I was greatly encouraged throughout the plan on the book of Psalms III, on gloomy days God used the psalms and the expository by Pastor Sandy to really bless me, it really made me to understand the context of those Psalms and I was able to relate with them and be Comforted by them.

Wow! Things I thought I understood and knew; well let's say I didn't quite understand. I am an older Christian, and have done many You Version Bible studies. But doing it this way really really wants me to know and truly know Jesus more and understand the Bible the way it is meant to be understood! Thank You for what you do. I'm now excited to start the next journey tonight. I just can't wait until tomorrow to start it❤️🙏🙏

I have told several people about TTW and the awesome teaching! I really appreciate the down to earth approach to helping believers (and non-believers) understand who God is and His plan for the world.

I listen every night- one chapter at a time as part of my bedtime routine. Suddenly my pen moves several nights a week. I heard the words "half hearted faith" I stopped and wrote.... thank you for your teaching. I could have read the Bible as a story, as a novel, but my goal wasn't to be entertained or to just say "I read the bible" I needed my life to change. I needed to really grow in Christ. Cheers to a beautiful journey!!

TTW gives me a little more understanding, it also encourages me through my days and lift me up. I really don't share ttw with friends I listen to and study the chapter by myself. I guess God has separated me right now from being around friends and family in a way, to get myself together and my life in order. NOT LOOKING are saying this in a disrespectful way.But each and every morning I wake up I 📚 read my devotional and start my TTW reading and listening. I'm grateful that I stroll and found TTW continue to keep up the good work youguys.🥰😍💜

An app with audio guides as well as the audio and written bible. it accommodates everyone, and you can download to listen offline and no add or premium. it is just perfect

It's been such an amazing experience daily listening to the teaching of God's Word via the TTW app on my way to work, sometimes at home...my spirit is fed daily! The consciousness of daily yearning (listening to or) for more of the lesson and the intentionality of putting things learnt to work has really change my perception and worldview in relating with people...absolute trust in God's Word is now my lifestyle as against worrying to get or attain things; my Father "God is able to make all grace abound toward me that I always of sufficiency in all things may abound unto every good works" (2 Corinthians 9:8) i now have the capacity to always do good. I shared the TTW app with a friend by sending him the link, also I've sent the app (link) to my house fellowship platform, and I intend to talk about it tomorrow during our fellowship time; encouraging everyone to download and start using it...it's so beneficial

Thanks for this experience. When the reading is done on my own this kind of understanding is not there. But hearing the studies that have been done for the different chapters have improved my understanding and appreciation for what is read. I hope to be able to open my mind to garner what is being said when I read the bible. Thanks for allowing me to participate.

I truly appreciate you all for giving all it takes to put up such a great work. I came with your Bible app to my personal retreat and I have experienced a deep presence of God while listening to Genesis (Joseph's life). At a time I couldn't stop weeping under the influence of the Spirit of God because I could see all I am going through explained in the narrative. I am a missionary for 2 decades, I brought my family home from the field (East Africa)... We lost our son after a brief illness, I became depressed but snapped our of it by the help of God, brethren came with one trouble after another... Yet I can't explain how we kept our love and passion for God alive. That must be the help of Christ who loved us first. Now we have disciples we are raising in Nigeria... Listening to the narrator on Joseph's life raised my spirit. "I see word became flesh through your voices" I am refreshed!!! Words can't explain how much God is using this app for me right now. I will share with everyone around me. Thank you 👍

This has been a life changer for me! I have always wanted to read the Bible, but found it difficult to understand and truly got lost the more I read. I was always searching for that “something” that would help my Bible reading journey “click”. Well I found it!! I just finished Journey 1 on the TTW app. I can honestly say that I looked forward to opening my bible everyday and going through each chapter. I understood! I comprehended! I learned SO MUCH!! I took a lot of notes that I will ALWAYS have to help me look back on. I have already shared this app with my Bible study group. If you’re wanting a clear and easy to understand way to read the Bible- TTW is for YOU! Pastor Langham is awesome. I feel like I’m sitting down with a friend and discussing the Bible. He makes it clear and easy to understand, plus he has a good sense of humor! I laughed, I cried and most of all, I thoroughly enjoyed my first Journey!! I’m headed to Journey 2! You should join me!

Just a quick shout out and big thank you to Peyton for making the Old Testament books such as Chronicles enjoyable!! I remember trying to read the Old Testament as a teenager and getting totally bogged down trying to understand what why these genealogies and so on were in the Bible. I am nearing retirement age now, but God honored my prayers and allowed me to hear your encouraging insights! Thank you again. I hope and pray I can encourage others now to continue to press on reading and searching to know more of God's Word!

I used to get so frustrated reading Genesis because it was so difficult to read. Thanks to TTW, I finally made it through without giving up. I now understand it and don’t need to avoid the Old Testament anymore! I love sharing it with my Facebook Community and can’t wait to read more chapters!

I have learned many things by listening to TTW. I not big on reading so the format here is awesome and fun. I have always loved God and his peeps ❤️ now I can go to church and forgive a person who may not speak,or some who take advantage of me in business. All because of the study on the on book of conrinth made simple thanks for your commitment to God's word and the church says Amen 🙏

Thank you so much for this app. I am in tears as I listen to Genesis especially the story of Joseph. I am a missionary for more than two decades and had been through several unforgettable pain, rejection, and wrong accusations... Yet I don't how I and my little family kept going. I came back from East Africa after a decade of work and back at home I lost my son, experience depression for the first time in my life and sick for two years... In the midst of these all we have Loved the Lord 🥺

I like that the teachers sticks to guiding and encouraging users to their own seekig of the word and not just imposing their views. My experience has been great thus far.

Part 2 Oh, we use TTW as an online Ladies Bible study. We had trouble with the read together link - our primary communication app is BAND. Our work around was to sign up for the TTW plan individually and discuss it daily in our group on BAND app. Again, thank you for this minstry.

I found TTW over the summer and now incorporate TTW with my daily reading through the Bible using YouVersion Bible App. I listen to the corresponding chapters on TTW and follow along with the Bible reading on YouVersion. I have learned so much listening daily. (I really missed listening while the power and wifi were down following hurricane Helene's pass through SC). I was especially thankful to hear Pastor Sand Adams eexplains he non-evolutionary gap theory in the discussion of Isaiah 45. I'm not sure if I agree or not (for the last 45 years I have only heard 7 literal days of creation without a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Gen 1:2. OR billions of years in the "days", but that theory is what I had, somewhere in my earliest understandings and had no idea where those thoughts came from. Thank you for all the things I am learning as I go Through The Word and the greater closeness to our Lord and Savior and better understanding of God our father.

I understand the Bible so much better now since listening to TTW. I love how you give the history/story/explanation first, because it’s all that, and then follow it up with the chapter. It’s so clear. I’ve always enjoyed reading the Bible, but in the past it has left me more baffled afterwards, wishing I had strong resources available on my phone at just a push of the button! And now I do :) So thank you. I know my knowledge of the Bible has improved since listening to you, but I’m more grateful that my life has been enriched by first, the Word of God, and second, because my love for the word (Bible) has also grown. I listened to the whole book of Jeremiah; it not only changed my outlook on life, but it convicted me. We’re no different than the Jews of those days. Yet God had so much love and mercy for them just as He does for us today. It definitely made me appreciate Jeremiah’s commitment to his people but his obedience to God was astounding! This is not my world, a greater reward awaits me in heaven, that should always be my focus- obedience will follow when my heart is on God. And that’s what I’m working on! Thank you for making it available free of charge! I love it so much that I’ve shared with friends and strangers alike!

The first plan I embarked on is Journey 1 and WOW! The Spirit of the Lord has helped the teacher to explain to His best Now I understand Jesus more and I want to know him more. Thank you TTW.

I love the way the narrator is describing each scenario, it's as if I can see it and I'm actually there! I love being able to listen to it with my earbuds, that way I can get the Word in me and in my spirit! Thank you for all you do.. PRICELESS!!!

I have strayed the last several years and this last year I was feeling lost and dealing with a lot of trauma. Someone told me about TTW and a couple of friends and I started journey 1. I learned so much about who Jesus is and his love for us. I was reminded of his love, grace, and forgiveness. It has brought me closer to God and has increased my prayer time and time with the Lord. I look forward to my time with my bible study daily and Kris has been amazing at explain everything and I always learn something new from him.

Setting aside time to study the scriptures hasn't been very easy. This app makes it easy for me to listen-on-the-go. Kudos to the team. ✨️🚀

This reading plan through Psalms reminds of the days of my youth when my family would sing songs to the Lord during car trips on vacation. Renee’s my spirit The Psalmist’s ups and downs and sometimes bi-polar like Psalms echoe my life as a Christian and minister who was paralyzed over 38 ago at 18. Yet through it all God is faithful.

When I started listening to Through the Word about 3 years ago. I was curious because the title of the devotion was Revelations EXPLAINED! I thought well explanations never worked before, but I’ll try this one just in case! I was so overwhelmed and excited by Kris’s teaching and was amazed to hear his explanations. I downloaded TTW and began to understand not only Revelations but I fell in love with the Old Testament. I had thought Romans to be a condemning book and was shocked to learn that it was actually full of Gods love! My entire life was changed completely starting from the moment I first listened to Kris and as I understood the new truths I was learning. Previously my life was dark, depressing and nightmarish, some light shone through of course, but I learned very slowly. It took about 1 1/2 years before it occurred to me that I was a new creation in Jesus Christ. lm constantly recommending TTW to other people including my Pastor! Through the Word has allowed the Lord to change my life and who I am completely. I was raised Jewish so I never had any “church teaching”. I struggled my whole life to try to understand Gods Word. I’m understanding through the teachings of all of the Pastors, and their wives and families. I know that every person that works on the team, including wives and families have influenced my learning. I am new to this style of studying the bible but am really enjoying the impact full clarity that TTW is giving me. The bite-size teachings make it quite interesting & easy to handle.... I can run in between the different teachings in each journey to grasp the meat of the topics. Thanks to the TTW crew

This app has helped me to study my Bible daily. To understand the Word by having an app to get up to and listen to every morning has been such a blessing. I have become a better Christian. The Word says,?hide my word in your heart so you will not sin against me. The word will change you inside out and it will teach you how to follow Christ.

I love the way Paul's first letter to Timothy has been interpreted. Makes it so much easier for me to understand Paul's purpose and in a way my own confusions and what God is asking of me

Hi. I just wanted to say thanks for TTW. I have completed journeys 1,2 and 3. The Bible is not always easy but you apply it well. I also am half way through the marriage series with a couple of friends and am finding it a good base to chat through marriage issues so thanks very much. It could be a life saver

My small group and I just finished the New Testament in a year. I have loved every day. Learning, growing and maturing in Christ. I now have even more desire for Gods word and I want to keep maturing. What a great privilege to know that I have Gods word in my heart. That I know God and Jesus like Never before. We also loved that we could now comment to each other in the group in the app. It took a little getting used to recording our voices but such a great tool. Thank you for including that feature. On to the Old Testament now.!! Thank you at all at TTW

Through The Word is a true blessing from God. God brought me to through the word at the darkest time of my life. I am addicted to it! Through The Word has brought my knowledge and love of God higher and deeper than it has ever been. It has changed my life and it has brought me back into the light. I look forward to listening to it throughout my day, I wake listening to it in the morning and it's the last thing I hear before I go to sleep. I just lost my mom a few weeks a go. I just started this series. I stopped it and came back to it when things settled. So good, so perfect to calm my heart and thoughts and move forward. So hard to move on. But “I can do all things THROUGH HIM who gives me strength” Phil4:17

TTW has helped me awaken my spirituality. I am always looking forward to the word and the explanations that give me better insight about the texts. I feel encouraged and wholesomely happy.

I'm a new participant in th through the word app, just a few days ago, but this app already has taught me first that the Bible is not meant to be read from back to from just as it is numbered. I'm getting clarity about Jesus, His work and message,

Hi, I’m Chuck. I wanted to share a little experience I had with the book of Judges. I thought I was through with the book but noticed that chapter fifteen wasn’t checked off. I was a little puzzled but figured I would go back and listen to it. Peyton’s overview really spoke to me. As a recovered alcoholic and drug addict I am well aware of the battle between the spirit and the flesh or sinful nature. The Bible points it out very clearly in Galatians 5:16-18. I say, live by the spirit and you won’t gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the spirit and the spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature so you don’t do what you want. But if you are lead by the spirit you are not under the law! I’m painfully aware of that battle! As Peyton pointed out the only way to win is to surrender to the Holy Spirit. I’m afraid that it has taken me to long to get over trying harder rather than surrender! Surrender doesn’t come natural to the stubborn sinful nature! I’m sure you guys weren’t looking for a sermon 😂, I just wanted to share this because I don’t think it’s a mistake that I had to go back and listen to chapter fifteen as I believe it’s something I needed to hear and was able to pay special attention!!
