Wall of Love for TTW

I've been using this app for my daily devotional for a couple of years now. I love the commentaries which explain and expand the bible. Following the journey plans is great for building your knowledge from scratch and gives you greater understanding helping us to know Jesus more.

I utilize TTW as a resource for my Bible study groups. I have been using it for deeper understanding of the Word which has helped me immensely. It has helped me both intellectually and spiritually. I have also referred your app to others facilitating groups at my church.

Where do I begin. I'll try and keep it short. I found the app because God wanted me to. Thats the really short version. ;) I downloaded about 5 or 6 different apps before I found TTW. There was nothing wrong with those other apps but I didn't know anything about the Bible......I mean NOTHING! I needed discipleship! I could read the Bible but I honestly didn't understand it or how it related to current times or to my life. I had to ask a friend what OT and NT meant! Haha. I know they have youth study and Sunday school for kids but there really isn't much for adults finding their way. Even in my womens bible study group they will say things I don't know or understand and I'm so embarrassed to ask that I look it up after I leave. I think God didn't want me to get frustrated and quit so he lead me to this app. Sometimes I cry listening to a lesson because I'm so grateful to actually UNDERSTAND what I'm reading and apply it to my life. You guys are a blessing and I shout this app's praises to anyone that will listen. It's amazing and you're truly doing God's work spreading the good news of Jesus! There aren't the right words to convey how much this app has helped to change my life and create that connection I was so craving.  I'm happy to donate to this work you all do and I pray it helps more and more and more people like me create that connection and want to share it. You guys take something that seems like a mountain so steep you can never get up it and you make it so easy to listen, retain, cherish and repeat to others! Truly amazing!

This App is awesome!!! I love that there are several teachers and they all bring their own stories of life to the book they are in. I use this App every morning because it helps me understand with I have just read. Wonderful for new believers and a great guide for older ones. Thank you so much and God Bless !!!!

It's a very helpful bible journey with through the word (TTW). Keeping tabs on the essential messages of the gospel using the app has been worthwhile. Thank you to the creative team and organisers who ensured the realisation of such helpful tools.

Thank you pastors for teaching and narrating for us the scripture, it's been hard and scary to read and understand this book though I have read it for a number of times but this time around I somehow understood it but I will continue reading and request the holy spirit to guide and make me know more because it requires divine wisdom to interpret, even pastor Kris at some point could not have answers.I also feel that some of the things written in this book have already happened.I must say that the app is interesting.

I absolutely enjoyed reading the psalms of David and other writers of the time., And I look forward to studying proverbs.

I absolutely love TTW I go to it every night before bed and after my prayers, I live the way you say theses are my interpretations but you go back and read it and see what you get out of it , thank you so much it is a real blessing to me 💟✝️🛐

TTW has helped me to improve in reading the words as I have struggled severally to read but always end up not continuing at the long run but now with TTW I look forward to listening to the words of God everyday . Thank you TTW 💝💝

I enjoyed the teaching with Kris, with my friend on You Version. I read and heard over and over. It’s very hard to understand it. I keep reading Revelations, and will keep going through it with Kris.

There is a sense of anointing in the content of this app. It speaks to me directly. I can really feel thr Holy Spirit's clear directions and spiritual insights.

Never have I ever thought that humility plays such a big role in relationships (marriage). It was so special; me and my husband do devotionals together and our book talks about humility and the day after reading about humility we did through the word Marriage 1 day 3 that also talks about humility (I do not believe in a coincidence). With every discussion question my answer kept coming down to the same thing. “To make yourself lower, to view the other person’s needs and feelings as more important that yours = HUMILITY. I love Humility and I am so aware of it now and its importance in relationships especially marriages. Thank you for such an eye opening devotional series!

How far how many treasures in the in the through the word of the day and still finding treasures I know it's a blessing to me thank you for having God in my life and have been knowing better

I am not a person who enjoys podcasts or audio books. I would rather read an article, book, story, or devotional. I tried this app after reviewing a daily devotional on a Bible app that I read daily and I love it! I listen to this on while getting ready in the morning or while completing chores. It has really helped me to add more “Bible Time” into my daily routine! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to interact more with the Bible.

I discovered Through The word on YouVersion. I loved the way Teachers present each chapter with an explanation before it. I became aware of TTW while doing my daily devotional in the Bible app. Kris taught one of the lessons and I decided to check out TTW. After downloading the TTW app and browsing through all you offer, I saw the lesson on Anxiety and thought of my daughter’s struggles with anxiety. I asked her to check out the app and let me know if she wanted to do the Anxiety lesson together. To my surprise, she said yes! I have tried in the past to help her through some anxiety incidents and it tended to make her more defensive since I didn’t have the right words to help. So l decided to let Kris’ explanation of what the Word says about the subject guide us. I can happily tell you that the two lessons on Anxiety have helped us both! She especially liked the way Kris acknowledged that anxiety disorders are real and may need the help of a professional, but now knows how to help herself through the Word. Using the shared feature of the app has brought us closer together in our faith journey and we plan to do weekly studies using the guidance of TTW. I firmly believe that God is at work through TTW and I am grateful to have found your great ministry. God bless, and keep up the great work!

Love TTW as it walks me through the Bible. I get so distracted when I read and the helps me focus when I can’t while reading.

In Mark 5 I learned and understood so many things about myself and my relationship with God. The day I read that chapter I happened to be in my hometown on a business trip. The day before, I had visited my sister who is deeply affected by schizophrenia and had silently prayed while hugging her. The whole visit lasted less than 10 minutes. It weighed heavy in my mind as I left for the hotel. In the morning, after reading Mark 5 and talking to my wife, who suggested I go back to my sister, I changed my plans. Instead of wasting time in a queue waiting for customer service, I went back to visit her again. I read the passage outloud to her, in the company of a psychiatric nurse and an attendant. I asked for her forgiveness as I had been an irate and short-tempered person, not understanding her condition while growing up and as adults, explaining that Legion referred to me and how God has changed me. My sister's mind is completely gone but the other persons heard the testimony and hopefully the Lord touched their hearts.

I am loving TTW!! I have always tried to do Bible in one year plans. I rarely finished them. It feels as if this one was written just for me. I have even gotten through Leviticus and numbers without quitting! The humor of Kris and the gang lightens the load of more difficult subjects, but it is not disrespectful. I am an early riser and choose to start my day with the Bible and other Christian readings. I keep getting up earlier and earlier so that I can listen to more of the journeys on TTW. It’s my favorite time of day (4am)🤣. The Bible and it’s true meaning are starting to come together for me. I know we are not ever going to understand and comprehend all of God‘s reasons and actions while we are on this side of heaven, but I now have more faith than ever before. So grateful Kris and the gang allow God to use them to make the Bible fun and exciting!!

The app is wonderful and very helpful when you are a beginner with the reading and understanding of a Bible, I love it. I would really recommend it to have a streak that you should maintain daily. Just as an encouragement for us to keep using the app. And grow in Christ🥰.

Opened the reality and the critical importance of knowing Jesus for myself and the important action and fact that killing the sinful behavioural pattern is to be considered and performed to live a Christlike life.

Oh I need this encouragement for my faith from Hebrews. My health issues and family discord has pushed me to the edge of giving up at times but in recent years God uses it to draw me ever closer to him. Faith is not passive. Praise the Lord.

Another step in my grief journey. I was already reading Job when he died so I continued with Joe even though I hated it it’s not very uplifting. I was thrilled to find the Psalms was next. Psalms actually got me through my senior year high school. I’m a little saddened today as I finished the last psalm! It has become a dear friend. I love that. I began Psalm 1 with God, blessing me; And today I finished praising Him! It has been six months almost to the day since my beloved died, and I am Pleased that I have continued our Bible study routine each day. I really don’t feel like he’s lost. He’s just gone somewhere. I can’t follow yet. I feel his presence just I feel God‘s presence every day. This study has kept me anchored.

This is the app that I have needed for years. I am happy the ad that led me to it showed up. Now, I use this daily and boy, hasn't it been so life changing. The in-depth analysis of each chapter in the Bible, all the 1,189 chapters, all of it, for free! I am amazed by Kris Langham and his team. All the time, effort and money spent to work for God, that in itself is so inspiring. I am grateful, so grateful for this, the high quality app and message, all built upon the Bible. 10/10

The plan on the book of James changed my thoughts on an issue I was struggling with at the time. "You do not have because you do not ask, and when you ask you do not receive because you ask in vain..." Was such a beautiful reminder that we should only place hope in God. I have shared this app with both family and friends. Kris has a lovely laid back manner in which he engages with us, his insight and knowledge of the Bible is given in a very simplistic way which draws you in and provides the individual with a clearer understanding to the message and also the understanding of the historical back drop of the times. I am new to this. I came across it by YouVersion daily verses. I am a widow and I am so glad I am going through the bible everyday and learning. I live on a reservation in Pine Ridge SD. My late husband and I came out 18 years ago to serve the lord. When he died God said to go back and continue the work. It is a blessing to me to have found this site to continue my growth in the Lord and have understanding. Thank you all so very much.

The program enables me to study the word of the Lord, because it serves as a reminder to me that I haven’t read the Bible. When I’m lazy to read or too tired to read, the program gracefully reads, guides, and explains the word to me. I also receive different views and ideas about the word of God. I really appreciate Through The Word for all they do. I pray that the Lord will continue to use them and wax them stronger and stronger. Amen!

Going through the book of Daniel has been a wonderful time. I enjoyed the commentaries of all the chapters. I had more insights and understanding of some of the chapters that I read before and didn't understand. It has been great.

I know that I'm supposed to read the Bible everyday but, I was at a point in my life that I would say to myself, okay where should we read today. I had difficulty understanding 1 Timothy 2 especially from verse 11 because of how controversial it was. I even skipped that part when studying the Bible. Bust with your carful explanation and guidance I now have a clear picture to this passage and my notions have changed. I now know that when studying a scripture that seems controversial you need to know the content, context of the passage and also make cross reference with other passages to have a better understanding to avoid any form of false doctrine.This app is indeed a blessing to me because as I carefully follow it the way I study the bible is totally different. This app has gotten me through some hard times. The worst being the loss of my husband. I cannot begin to express my gratitude. Sincerely. I do have one request though. If it is possible, could you make the verse numbers a bit darker? The light orange against the white background is difficult to see. At least for me. Keep up the good work! I’m sure I am not the only one you have helped through hard times by taking us step by step ‘Through the Word’.

This App is where it all began for me about 3 years ago I was interested in getting to know the Bible and Jesus on a deeper level but wasn’t sure where to start. I’m so grateful the spirit lead me to experience this app. It not only walks with you through the Bible step by step but the pastors explain it in a way for you to understand in today’s terms. I love the examples and the openness from the pastors as well!!! Praise be to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior !!!!

I have never really understood Psalms. I didn't know until recently they were actually songs. I thought they were poetry, which in a way they are. I have enjoyed understanding them and the trials and tribulations of David and how God stayed with him no matter what. Even when he was having the worst of times he did not lose faith. And it made my face stronger. Amen

I discovered TTW through a plan in YouVersion about 6 years ago. I LOVE the Journeys, which I listen to daily. I’m on Journey 19. I’m also a pastor’s wife, so I often recommend TTW as we disciple people. Well, yesterday, God spoke directly to me and ministered so deeply to my broken heart through TTW that I just wanted you to know about it. Having just celebrated some real breakthroughs and victories in our congregation, the enemy attacked us via some Facebook posts. So yesterday morning my prayer before listening to Nehemiah 6 was a very heartfelt, “God, I need to hear specifically from you today. I really need you. “ Even as I prayed it, my mind rebuffed the prayer, knowing that the Bible won’t say anything about Facebook. But Kris Langham explained that an “open letter” in the hands of a courier was equivalent to a Facebook post! His wise counsel and teaching on Nehemiah 6 was the voice of God to me. A very personal word of encouragement in my time of need. I cannot effectively express my gratitude for your ministry, but thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This isn't my first time through The Bible, but I love the way you explain each chapter and the order in which you present it. I use my old study Bible from 1975 that has lots of notes, highlighting, and underscores, but it's always interesting that what strikes me about specific verses varies from year to year, decade to decade. My main purpose in using this app is to gleen from the word how to reach a non-believer who is very important to me.

The teachings help to bring the Psalms written in the past to intersect with those of us who live our lives hundreds and thousands of years in the the future. There is only one God. And He is not bound by time.

A very nice one, this app really helps me in studying and Understanding the BIBLE more I really recommend this app to everyone 😊

I was greatly encouraged throughout the plan on the book of Psalms III, on gloomy days God used the psalms and the expository by Pastor Sandy to really bless me, it really made me to understand the context of those Psalms and I was able to relate with them and be Comforted by them.

Wow! Things I thought I understood and knew; well let's say I didn't quite understand. I am an older Christian, and have done many You Version Bible studies. But doing it this way really really wants me to know and truly know Jesus more and understand the Bible the way it is meant to be understood! Thank You for what you do. I'm now excited to start the next journey tonight. I just can't wait until tomorrow to start it❤️🙏🙏

I have told several people about TTW and the awesome teaching! I really appreciate the down to earth approach to helping believers (and non-believers) understand who God is and His plan for the world.

I listen every night- one chapter at a time as part of my bedtime routine. Suddenly my pen moves several nights a week. I heard the words "half hearted faith" I stopped and wrote.... thank you for your teaching. I could have read the Bible as a story, as a novel, but my goal wasn't to be entertained or to just say "I read the bible" I needed my life to change. I needed to really grow in Christ. TTW gives me a little more understanding, it also encourages me through my days and lift me up. I really don't share ttw with friends I listen to and study the chapter by myself. I guess God has separated me right now from being around friends and family in a way, to get myself together and my life in order. NOT LOOKING are saying this in a disrespectful way.But each and every morning I wake up I 📚 read my devotional and start my TTW reading and listening. I'm grateful that I stroll and found TTW continue to keep up the good work youguys.🥰😍💜

An app with audio guides as well as the audio and written bible. it accommodates everyone, and you can download to listen offline and no add or premium. it is just perfect

It's been such an amazing experience daily listening to the teaching of God's Word via the TTW app on my way to work, sometimes at home...my spirit is fed daily! The consciousness of daily yearning (listening to or) for more of the lesson and the intentionality of putting things learnt to work has really change my perception and worldview in relating with people...absolute trust in God's Word is now my lifestyle as against worrying to get or attain things; my Father "God is able to make all grace abound toward me that I always of sufficiency in all things may abound unto every good works" (2 Corinthians 9:8) i now have the capacity to always do good. I shared the TTW app with a friend by sending him the link, also I've sent the app (link) to my house fellowship platform, and I intend to talk about it tomorrow during our fellowship time; encouraging everyone to download and start using it...it's so beneficial

Thanks for this experience. When the reading is done on my own this kind of understanding is not there. But hearing the studies that have been done for the different chapters have improved my understanding and appreciation for what is read. I hope to be able to open my mind to garner what is being said when I read the bible. Thanks for allowing me to participate.

I truly appreciate you all for giving all it takes to put up such a great work. I came with your Bible app to my personal retreat and I have experienced a deep presence of God while listening to Genesis (Joseph's life). At a time I couldn't stop weeping under the influence of the Spirit of God because I could see all I am going through explained in the narrative. I am a missionary for 2 decades, I brought my family home from the field (East Africa)... We lost our son after a brief illness, I became depressed but snapped our of it by the help of God, brethren came with one trouble after another... Yet I can't explain how we kept our love and passion for God alive. That must be the help of Christ who loved us first. Now we have disciples we are raising in Nigeria... Listening to the narrator on Joseph's life raised my spirit. "I see word became flesh through your voices" I am refreshed!!! Words can't explain how much God is using this app for me right now. This has been a life changer for me! I have always wanted to read the Bible, but found it difficult to understand and truly got lost the more I read. I was always searching for that “something” that would help my Bible reading journey “click”. Well I found it!! I just finished Journey 1 on the TTW app. I can honestly say that I looked forward to opening my bible everyday and going through each chapter. I understood! I comprehended! I learned SO MUCH!! I took a lot of notes that I will ALWAYS have to help me look back on. I have already shared this app with my Bible study group. If you’re wanting a clear and easy to understand way to read the Bible- TTW is for YOU! Pastor Langham is awesome. I feel like I’m sitting down with a friend and discussing the Bible. He makes it clear and easy to understand, plus he has a good sense of humor! I laughed, I cried and most of all, I thoroughly enjoyed my first Journey!! I’m headed to Journey 2! You should join me!

Just a quick shout out and big thank you to Peyton for making the Old Testament books such as Chronicles enjoyable!! I remember trying to read the Old Testament as a teenager and getting totally bogged down trying to understand what why these genealogies and so on were in the Bible. I am nearing retirement age now, but God honored my prayers and allowed me to hear your encouraging insights! Thank you again. I hope and pray I can encourage others now to continue to press on reading and searching to know more of God's Word!

I used to get so frustrated reading Genesis because it was so difficult to read. Thanks to TTW, I finally made it through without giving up. I now understand it and don’t need to avoid the Old Testament anymore! I love sharing it with my Facebook Community and can’t wait to read more chapters!

I have learned many things by listening to TTW. I not big on reading so the format here is awesome and fun. I have always loved God and his peeps ❤️ now I can go to church and forgive a person who may not speak,or some who take advantage of me in business.
