Wall of Love for TTW

I have been using the TTW app for a few years now. I love it. I am a minister, an author, and a full time clinical Chaplain, and not only have all my family listening (6 grown children + their families and extended families), I share it with dozens of hospital patients and their families every week. Gods Word is what made the transformational difference in my life. We simply cannot survive spiritually without Gods Word. May God continue to breathe blessing on Through The Word.

Loved doing this Luke study each morning throughout December. Looking forward to the next one. We need to remain in His word daily. He is our rock and our salvation. Thank you Lord for sending your Son Jesus to save all that believe in Him and accept Him as their Savior. Merry Christmas!

Going through this guided study of the Life and Times of our Savior at a time when we are preparing to celebrate His birth brings new meaning and blessing.

As with all your readings, it gives me a deeper understanding and appreciation of the word of God. God bless you and merry Christmas to all.

Advent through Luke's Gospel... It has brought a closer walk for me this Christmas with Jesus. TTW has helped me to see things in Scripture that I had not noticed before; Even though I have read through this many times. I look forward to going through the book of Revelation in the weeks to come. I've been through it with TTW once before, but I look forward to see what the Holy Spirit will reveal to me this time. I love, love, love everything about this!! As someone who wanted to grow in faith and read the Bible I was frustrated because I could not understand applications. The guides are so easy to tune into, I love all the folks who walk with us through the journey. I love the chats that often lead with reflective questions. TTW is my self care and nightly ritual! So thankful I stumbled across this, can't imagine my journey in Christ and thru the Bible any other way

The New Testament plan really helped me in breaking down chapters and understanding a lot of context to what things meant and i loved how it was structured as well would definitely be sharing with others

Wow! I have been walking with the Lord and reading His word for decades. This brought so many verses to life for me! It gave me a fresh look at so much. What a gift going into Christmas. I can’t wait to experience the same in Revelation in January.

Its been an illuminating, soul stirring walk in this journey on the Jesus Story, from His conception to His ascension and every progression in-between, with the compas from brother Luke's account and explanatory guide by Pastor Kris, as inspired by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is simply awesome!

Reading through the book of Luke starting December 1st one day at a time one chapter at a time has been one of the coolest things that I have ever done! As a result I had to look up the word cool. Many meanings but the ones that fit are: something impressive, admirable, appealing, interesting, worthy of attention! For me this is an answered prayer from God. I have been praying for God to get me into his word and keep me in his word! I am hooked!!!

First of all, Thank you! This has been part of my morning devotion. I truly enjoyed this journey through Luke. I have learned so much more about Jesus and what it means to follow Him. I have never been so excited to read the Bible since using TTW. Because of this app I have been consistent with reading the Bible. After finishing Journey 1, I too like Kris need to know more of Jesus. I have this conviction in my heart that life is so much better with Jesus in it. Wow, I am amazed at the excitement I have for this reading plan. I love how someone can explain the Bible with so much passion and enthusiasm and most of all it holds my attention with me “wanting” to continue the journey Through the Word.

I enjoy getting a different perspective on scripture. It helps me challenge myself to fine tune my understanding. You bring out details I may have missed. Thank you, TTW, for many hours of study and pleasure while learning to grow and know my Lord.

TTW is a great way to walk through the Word. I love how it sticks to interpreting the Bible strictly and where opinions are proffered they are offered as such - clearly and transparently. I love how Pastor Langham tackles difficult questions with humility and no “I know it all” attitude. Journey 3 has vividly brought to light how God is God - and He can reveal the future, how we are all sinners and insufficient by ourselves and how the Grace of God is what brings us in right standing with our great and ever loving God.

I struggle with reading, focusing, and understanding what I read. But once I heard Payton Jones and Kris Langham explain the Bible to me with such love, simplicity, and sometimes even being relatable, I was truly blessed by God with something I really needed, some help amd guidance from followers of Christ. I am so enjoying being able to have this at my finger tips. I don't see well anymore so I can't read. I use audible and this app was A. Godsend, and the studies to be able to go through the older and New Testament. Studies is just absolutely a blessing. Thank you

I lost the joy of Christmas when I first lost my sister and my mom helped me find it again. Then I lost my mom in 2021 and ever since then it’s been hard for me to find joy in Christmas much less life. The TTW Advent Plan has helped me rediscover not only the true meaning of Christmas but also the joy of life. TTW has helped me understand things about the Bible that I never thought I would understand. Thank y’all so much for what yall are doing. My wife and I have been through all 66 books with Kris and his team, twice. We use the TTW app every day during our devotional time. We have been married for 51 years and are life long followers of our Lord Jesus and TTW has been incredible in clarifying and connecting scriptures to aid in our continual spiritual growth.. This study has touched me deeply. I've done it with my daughter-in-law who lives in a different state. Richard Wurmbrand is someone whose story I have been acquainted for many years and I support Voice of the Martyrs financially, but I had never heard the part of the story you talked about with the poet. That is very meaningful to me. I have worked for several years in the Master's Commission program (a ministry training program of the Assemblies of God), and just three weeks ago heard a similar, lengthy, multifaceted report of the impact some of the Master's Commission students had in the ghetto sections of our city. A child they ministered to, now a grown man and working in the tax division of the government, happened to be in contact through his work with the director of our Master's Commission program, and before the encounter was over they realized he had been brought to Christ by those teenagers and young adult adults in the Master's Commission when he was a child living in the worst of the ghetto sections in Birmingham. Many other subsequently have been brought into the kingdom through that contact. Kris , thank you so much for doing these studies. I know it's a lot of work. I thank God often for your skill, your ability, your training, your experience, and your willingness in this area.

I love TTW and use it daily. I have read the Bible from cover to cover but never understood the meaning behind what I was reading. Since I have made TTW a daily habit, I have gained a much better understanding of the Bible and Jesus. My faith has grown along with my understanding. My wife and I found you on the YouVersion Bible App. We signed up for your study on the Book of Revelation. We both enjoyed your commentary and decided to search out the app Through the Word. That was over 6 years ago. It has been a steady part of our walk with the Lord. We start every morning in the Word. We read a chapter a day, then pray together. We have gone through the entire Bible and completed the New Testament several times. I currently teach an adult Sunday School. I start every Sunday morning listening to Through the Word, at home before church. Thank you all, for what you all do. May God continue to bless this ministry, as it has been a wonderful blessing for me and my wife.

Thank you to everyone involved in TTW. I just finished going through the entire Bible. This time I did it in two years. Cover to cover. In many cases I used the teaching’s of the TTW pastors to give me insight. Today I finished Revelation with the help of Chris Langham. I am very thankful to Chris. God bless!

I thoroughly enjoy this Bible study/devotional app. It's an incredible tool to help you in your daily walk in following the Lord Jesus Christ, The Risen Son of the Living God! The presentation and format of study, and reading along in the Holy Scriptures works deep in your mind and heart to draw you deeper and closer to the Lord Jesus Christ by the wonderful working power of the Holy Spirit of God. This is best Bible app I have seen so far. I strongly recommend it for anyone who leads a busy life and still desires to spend time with God daily. The level of excellence of this app is simply beautiful.

Literally what the title says. You read the Bible, and you have a friendly guide to help you understand the chapters. The audio guides are especially helpful and sometimes hilarious. It’s enjoyable. Very, very, enjoyable. It’s literally just 10-11 minutes, often 13 minutes - but that’s besides the point. This app is incredibly amazing and useful. Hallelujah. Reply

Phenomenal! I've been using this for some months & it's a Huge Blessing! Lately my hubby & I listen together. It's been ages since I read through the entire bible, so this is an enjoyable refresher, but much more! Plus side B offers deep dives. I love the different bible translations & reading voices. The teachers I've heard are smart & gifted by the Holy Spirit. I can set the size of the text to the size I need. It's all ad free! Donations are needed to continue, so check it out & then give!

I’m a huge fan of TTW! It’s definitely helped my Bible habit. Kris Langham (and all the other wonderful guides!) do such a good job at interpreting the Word. It’s really helped me feel less lost.

I really like the chapter a day concept. It is an amount of scripture that works for me. The teaching, which is like a layperson’s commentary, is a wonderful idea!

I thank God for Through the Word. I look forward to reading and hearing every day. Just finished the book of Revelation, to be honest, it’s unsettling and glorious and wonderful all at the same time. I’m a paraplegic who is unfortunately the last near 8 years have spent most of my life confined to bed. I have been a Christian since I was 7. I served as a healthcare chaplain over 20 years. I have failed as a Christian many times. I thank God for his grace and mercy and forgiveness. I appreciate these reminders of peace.

The pastors and narrators break down each chapter that is understandable and relatable. TTW helped me get closer to God. I like to listen to the audio first and then go read the chapter from my Bible. It’s a great way for me to soak in God’s Word.

Hello TTW team, Let me start by saying thank you all for your work and obedience to Christ. I listen to the app almost daily. I have a question. When listening to the open commentary for John 16, the commentary talks about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. How Jesus went back to God but sent the Holy Spirit to be with us and it made me wonder if the way I've been praying is wrong. I've always prayed to God and asked for things in Jesus Christ's name. Jesus says to ask and thou shall receive, but very often, I don't receive what I ask. Should I be praying to the Holy Spirit and asking in Jesus name. I know God his own timing when answering us and I know that God knows what's best for us, but am I praying wrong? Thank you all very much

I love that you broke down the psalms in sections so that it’s easier to understand any time I have tried to study the psalms it’s like a never ending story. I get confused and discouraged because it seems like they just go in and on. Through the Word has truly saved my life after my husband passed away. It’s been almost 9 years and I need to stay in the Word. I even use it to study Life Group lesson before church. I love it.

I came across Through the Word on the You Version app a couple years ago. I was looking for a study on the book of Ruth and found yours. That was the first TTW study I went through. I found the app and started listening to it on my morning commute. My youngest daughter was in the car listening with me since I dopped her off at school first. She began asking to listen to it if I forgot to turn it on! She downloaded the app on her mobile device and started listening to the lessons on her own. Then she shared the app with her older sister. Now, my daughters listen to TTW teachings at night before they go to bed. I can hear it coming from their bedroom at night. It blesses me so much to know that my girls (ages 16 and 12) are interested in learning the Bible, and they are doing it on their own. I still listen to TTW every morning on my way to the office. So far, I have completed the entire NT, and I'm almost halfway through the OT. I'm really looking forward to studying the book Psalms. God bless y'all!

Kris,I’ve been using another bible app for years. Every morning I read a devotional and some verses. Then I came upon your psalms book one. And since then I continued into book 3. I then downloaded TTW. Listening to Mark and the Advent. I realized that my morning became a habit and although I did some studying beyond the days scripture it wasn’t as fulfilling as in my early days. I liken it to my spirit had become a smoldering fire, it was there but just a lot of smoke. You came along and starting poking the fire, adding wood I’m now pouring thru Advent and Psalms. I’m recalling some old hymns we sang. It’s invigorating and my spirit is more alive Thank you.

It has helped to give me a deeper understanding of scripture and also is helping learn ways to study the Bible. It gives me different perspectives that I never thought about before.

I have always been amazed with the book of Colossians. Yes… like Chris Langham said, it’s all about Jesus, his Diety, The first time I read and studied it, it blew my mind. How great is our God. I have loved EVERY book I’ve read! But the book of Isaiah and pastor Sandy Adams teachings has made me realize the importance of Israel and the Jewish people. After reading through Isaiah I’m not sure how anyone can say otherwise. Thankyou for your teachings and making the Word so accessible wherever we are!

What intrigue me most about this is that it's a means to spread the gospel and how the teachers always encourage the readers to follow that perfection is not the basics I recommend this to everyone (atheists, Buddhists, Muslims and all) I love through the word 🤍 may God sustain the developers and maintainers🙏

I’ve been listening to through the word for 2 years now. I’ve done the Bible in a year twice so far. In the past I’ve found the Psalms incredibly boring. I had no understanding about them and dreaded seeing them in the journeys. Your redo is a breath of fresh air. I just finished day 24. When I listened to the teaching about psalms 22 I was captivated and not only heard it but felt it in a way I never have before. Kris is an incredibly anointed teacher and I really enjoy listening to Peyton and Melanie as well. Now I’m excited to study the Psalms! I’m understanding the teachings so well now and it’s helping me to grow and love the Lord even more. Thank you, Thank You, Thank you! My journey with TTW has been life changing, exciting and so inspirational. I loved learning about the Tola worm too. I never understood why Jesus called himself a worm before. Now I do! Through the word has made such a difference. I have a reading disability. When the Bible apps came out and I found that I could listen to the Bible every night, it was a great blessing for me. Unfortunately, a lot of the Bible apps have now gone to computer generated voices, which somehow doesn’t seem right to me, but through the word has Kris Langham. His unique style Clarity and sense of humor makes it not only interesting but enjoyable which has reignited my interest in listening every night. I find myself seeing the words in the Bible in a way I never have before. I can finally understand what I used to think was so confusing about the Bible. I used to think that the Bible contradicted itself over and over again, however Pastor Kris and his associates have shown me how it all intertwines. I thank God for through the word.

I have just started the journey and I am feeling all blessed through the first journey. I am glad that I get to see the Holy Bible in a new dimension with a different approach. I am filled with anticipation, hope and trust that at the end I will emerge a new man God help me. Thank you TTW.

Our time is short I wish everyone would read the book of Zachariah and then listen to Chris Langham, explain it. This is truly an eye-opening book in the Bible. Thank you, Through The Word for what you are doing in these last days.

I have been distracted and lazy but I finally got to finish journey 3 (foundations) in more than three months and it was amazing. I find that with each passing day I move farther away from where I used to be and I am grateful to God for that. Through the world has helped me see the bigger picture, helped me understand a lot of things in the bible that on my own, I found difficult to navigate through. It's like a force pushing me closer to God not letting myself be limited by the mistakes I have made.

The Bible app has really helped me develop a daily Bible habit. The guides are good and gifted teachers. The references they give to certain verses... They are timely God bless TTW

TTW is helping me build a better relationship with God, myself, and others, it's helping me understand the word of God more deeply, and it's opening my eyes heart, and soul to receive the word

TTW has helped the regularly of my study and guides me with things I haven’t studied. I enjoy most of the speakers and have learned different history of the Bible. It DELIGHTS me. From time to time I theologically disagree with the speaker — and that’s OK. The joy of getting older in the Lord is that our unity does not depend on agreeing with everything. Rather, it depends on following Jesus in the basics: the Trinity, the church, living close to Him, enjoying His peace that passes understanding. Chris Langham speaks clearly about the fundamentals of Christian theology and how to live as Christian’s.

I learned a lot i didn’t know about Paul in this book. I think it’s amazing that he was heavenly inspired not taught by apostles. And his teachings and his message go hand and hand with the Gospels

I look forward to listening to this every morning. It is soothing, as well as energises me getting me ready to face the day. I like that I am able to view a familiar passage but this time from someone else perspective but surprisingly still resonates with me. Thank you for providing this forum, it is ingenious. God bless
